Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "THE WEEKND - JEALOUS GUY"

Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, we have to get back into the weekend's amazing ability to be one of the best actors on the planet. Because not only is he delivering Denzel Washington type performances, but he's also giving us music that's just joyful, and just feel with enjoyment for our audio adventure. Because if you think about it, the weekend covering John, Lenin's jealous guy for the idol tv show on hbo shouldn't be as fire as it is but because the weekend has one of the greatest voices i've ever heard in rmb pause if needed i believe he takes any track that's already popular if he covers it it's just 10 times better same thing goes for ariana Ronde, same thing goes for a Beyonce, a Rihanna.

Starting point is 00:00:57 Like, their voice is so unique and distinct, just superior to all the other voices in the game. I believe whenever they cover a popular track, everybody's going to give it a listen. And that's exactly what the weekend did with Jealous Guy as he just dropped three new singles for the show, The Idol. And in general, he initially planned to release the Idol soundtrack on June 30th. but he is instead releasing the tracks from the show and weekly installments, which I think is probably a really smart idea as far as a marketing strategy. And if you binge drop the album, I mean, most music fans are used to that, right?

Starting point is 00:01:37 But as far as TV fans, you want them to keep coming back every week because if that doesn't binge drop, like as far as the entire season, why not drop the track strategically when the episodes drop? So that's exactly what the weekend is doing to keep people engaged week after week. And it's pretty interesting the amount of people who's talking about his acting ability and just completely disregarding the amount of fire quality music that he's put out in this soundtrack alone. I mean, even Lily Rose Depp's world-class singer slash I'm a freak is straightfire. And for me to be saying that as a straight male, that is just insane.

Starting point is 00:02:17 So at this point, that soundtrack can do no wrong in my eyes. And this is just another, another addition to the overall soundtrack. Because, like, we have double fantasy featuring Future, Produced by Mike Dean. I mean, I think most of this is, or if not all, it's produced by Mike Dean. Then you have Popular featuring Playboy Cardi. Then you have World Class Center, which is Lily Rose Deps, original track, I believe. Yeah. then you have what else is another one oh and then you have jealous guy which is the weekend

Starting point is 00:02:59 along with lily rose and if you don't know lily rose is like the co-star i guess of the show so she's like the woman in the show who's trying to get i don't know i'm never i don't even watch the show so i'm just covering it from an objective standpoint but as far as subjective i can get to that with the music so the music has been straightfire really above average in general i think the weekend And I keep saying this, one of the greatest artists to ever grace a mic when it comes to R&B and pop. So for him to keep dropping hit after hit every single week, then I don't care how many people kill his acting ability in the show. I need him to keep dropping music from the soundtrack because it is straight fire. So click my link to my bio.
