All Drake had to do was acknowledge this man back at the 2013 OVOFest.
Because now the Nick Fury of the entire Avengers operation has once again took somebody from your side and added him to their team.
Now what do I mean about that? Well, I'm glad you asked. As timeless,
is a track that is phenomenal by the way but it just came out and guess who guess who's the feature
on this particular track by the weekend ah you guessed it play bricardy and if you didn't guess it
that was a terrible dora impersonation but you know i digress with that being said the weekend
having play bricardy on timeless is such a coincidence right because
Because Drake has a track out right now titled No Face that had, you guessed it, play Bracardi on it.
And when the final version came out on DSPs, guess who was left?
We're not even left off.
Guess who's not on and doesn't make a appearance as far as the No Face final version?
Playboy Cardi.
Now, of course, you can call me a conspiracy theorist or you can just say I've been paying attention to the past.
nine months of what's been happening as far as people gathering together getting us excited for the
elimination of Drake because whenever you have the weekend being the Nick Fury of the operation
giving so much light to the Metro and future album and then ultimately singing how your shooters
are doing TikToks and making a lot of disses towards Drake subliminally.
while the whole time highlighting and putting superstar light on the second album that probably would have not did as uh well i'm not going to do that to future metro it definitely would have performed well but having the weekend on it as far as as a feature also he was on the original album not credited because you know he was playing behind the scenes but the biggest beef in this whole twenty twenty four is not drake and kentrick is drake in the weekend more specifically drake and the
weekend's manager cash they have a long-standing beef as far as the exo x as far as the ovio exo beef is
considered so anyways yeah so the weekend taking playbric cardi is just another plus chess move as far as
taking cardi off the board as far as friends for drake i mean because they've already taken
future they've already taken playbric cardi all the other guys he wasn't really friends with
i mean they tried to do the whole oh you use alana for a check balance so he doesn't
doesn't feature or do songs with Atlanta artists, but we saw that play out, right?
He's done nothing but rap songs with Atlanta artists since.
So anyways, timeless.
This specific track is spectacular.
I'm not going to lie to you.
It's definitely one of the more pivotal tracks of 2024 hip-hop-wise when it comes to quality.
Now, I've always said on my podcast, The Weekend is one of the greatest musicians to ever live.
I would argue that he is and has the best vocals when it comes from a male performing act.
Now, of course, a lot of people are probably going to say Chris Brown, Usher, which if you've seen them live, is definitely an argument to be made that they are number one.
But I'm just saying personally, Abel, McCona, Tesfay, vocally is the best that I've heard from a male singer.
Anyways, Playbric Cardi, on the other hand, is somebody else that I've been making a kerfuffle with because his fan base is not too happy with me.
Now, why is that?
Because, well, simply because I point out objective stats and they can't handle it.
So, of course, with Playbic Cardi, being on this track, when he has a track out currently that is titled All Red, doing a literal one of,
one impression of future.
So it's basically a future track, but it says play with Cardi's name on it.
But to his credit, he did finally put out a song as far as on DSPs because this man has
not released official streaming music by himself solo since 2020.
So I think my critiques was pretty fair as far as him not wanting to compete against the big
dogs on the official stages like a billboard like a chart data like a lumenit who owns chart data
like stuff like actual statistics that we can line you up as far as seeing how popular you actually are
and so all red technically is a success is debuted at number 15 there's a 15th most played
track in the world so with me i'm not going to say i digress or i'm not going to say i take it back or
I'm going to basically
I'm a double down
that's that's all that I'm trying to get to
I am doubling down on what I think about
Playberry Cardi because if you take
four years to drop one solo
track on DSPs not all these
Lucy's and SoundCloud numbers where you can have your
label fluctuate and manipulate the numbers
to seem bigger than you actually are
actually certified numbers putting your solo
music out for the world to measure up your success numbers wise to other quote unquote big dogs in the hip hop industry
so now when you debut at number 15 i'm doubling down because i've seen the projections for
october i want to see how long that last because apparently i'm seeing a pretty significant drop off
and i'm not even hating because if it don't drop off i'm gonna come back and say hey i was completely wrong
but because i looked at the projections which you have to like subscribe to it's like you know you got
do the extra stuff and put money for it to get these type of analytics so i'm looking at the
advanced analytics and i'm not going to lie to you it looked like it's going to be the weakest hold
of all time as far as 2020 uh not all time as far it's going to be the week as hold as far as it's going to
24 when it comes to the top 50 tracks i mean it's going to you know the projections are saying
it's going to drop out of the top 50 now if it doesn't i'll come back and say i was wrong i don't know
how this turned into a playbricardi segment but i just got to let y'all know that the weekend making this
specific track with playbric cardi when both of their tracks are on the charts as far as
the weekend has dancing in the flames that debuted at number 14 and playbred cardis you cannot make
this up track all red debuted at number 15 i'm not going to lie to you i had to go to the credits
because I'm like, just no way.
I mean, debuting that close, back to back,
and then you put out a song together.
I'm like I keep saying, I'm no conspiracy theories.
The weekends on the Universal Music Group,
if you go to Playboy Cardi and you go to All Red,
and you look at the credits, it says Interscope.
Now, if we dig a little deeper into that,
because obviously there's so many, I mean, as far as the major ones,
like Sony, Warner, UMG, I could list those off.
But as far as the subdivision,
sometimes I get them confused.
So let's just see what Interscope Records is under.
So Interscope Geffen.
I don't even know what is that.
Based on, that's not what I'm looking for.
Don't you love when you misspell something,
then you got to type it back in.
Anyways, I saw you can't make this up.
Anoscope Geffen A&M Records,
which is part of the Universal Music Group.
I mean, two acts under the same label.
debuting their solo tracks, promoting their upcoming album, and they both have the 14th and 15th slot,
and now they have a track together that just released.
I rest my case, man.
I ain't going to lie to you.
Sometimes I feel like the music industry tries to do smoking mirrors, but if you're going to make it this obvious,
then somebody got to call it out.
I mean, I don't think nobody's talking about how egregious this is, how, like, the manipulation of numbers.
It's just insane.
So that is why I'm doubling down on the whole playboy card they're not wanting to compete
because I just want to see if this holds.
Now, if it holds in the top 50, it doesn't even have to be top 25 because that's giving it
a short leash.
Top 50.
If it drops off of that, we're going to have to have a discussion.
But yeah, besides that, let's get into the actual weekend stuff.
The weekends that go vocally, one of the, no, the best ever.
and I believe that the weekend will end up putting a phenomenal album,
as you probably already know,
the album is titled by Hurry Up Tomorrow.
And yeah, the album is titled Hurry Up Tomorrow
because he's retiring the weekend name to go in the direction of Abel Tess Faye.
And just, you know, a little, another tidbit, right?
who produced this track as far as the play with Cardi in the weekend
Farrell Williams
Now I'm no conspiracy theorist
Even though I've been making a lot of different claims
But technically I'm backing them up with objective facts that you cannot say
It's just fabricated right
Forrell uh yeah I think it's right here
Was it despicable me?
I think it was despicable me
This man
Had a whole track he made
for the despicable me soundtrack and i don't know how in the world he did this but he made it about
drake now how did that work well ladies and gentlemen some of your dirt has came to light
lie detected time do you feel bad when you lie hey what are you hiding nothing wrong with being
private make sure it ain't wrong coming off the whole drake track off a meltdown when he's
He said, I melt down the chains that I bought from your boss.
Forget about all that inheritance stuff.
He said the other word, but just peachy podcast.
So these are things you can easily look up.
Like everything I'm telling you, you can look up.
It's not just, oh, I'm just talking, and it's just bullet points,
and I don't have anything to go off of that.
It's just off memory.
I remember the Avengers coming together and trying to take out Drake,
because if you don't know, he's still on top.
But, yeah, Pharrell Williams is a part of that whole Avengers lineup.
And you may be wondering how in the world is this connecting to Drake.
It's just simply because Drake is and continues to take shots at Ferrell.
I mean, even Kendrick said it.
When Kendrick says he didn't like how he went at Farrell, so I'm inheriting the beef,
what y'all think he was talking about?
So this whole Ferrell producing a weekend track after the weekend just took Playboy Cardi from Drake.
All the puzzle pieces of, I can't even talk.
All the puzzle pieces match up together.
It's just sometimes it takes somebody else to put it together for you because some people are just going to call you crazy if you don't connect the dots that obviously aligns.
So anyways, hopefully that makes sense to y'all.
If it doesn't, hey man, I try my best.
you know what i'm saying just rate this five stars or not you know i mean i try to give you a
a pretty simplistic timeline of this entire beef so the avengers have teamed up again but this time
instead of iron man and captain america it's like thor and hoke you know as far as the weekend for real
and play bric cardi so instead of having um kendrick metro and future now you have the weekend
play bricardy and uh ferell williams teaming up to put out this new track timeless that just dropped
on all DSPs.
So that being said, click my link to your
my bio, let me know in one of my social media is.
What do you think about the timeless track,
which, to be fair, is straightfire.
And also, what do you think about the whole team up,
as Kanye put it, for the elimination of Drake?
