Getting into the first track off of the weekend's album titled Hurry Up Tomorrow,
we're basically going to do a top 10 of tracks from this album from the masses as far as what they are clamoring tours.
Because you already know I could cover this entire album, but I want to just make it concise.
So we're just going to do the top 10, right?
Obviously it may change after the fact.
But right now currently, Hurry Up Tomorrow obviously is one of the more played tracks off of the album because it's track one.
So with that being said, they said that Wake Me Up Tomorrow obviously has a sample from Michael Jackson's thriller, which brings me to the ultimate point.
People, I ain't going to love this take.
I ain't going to lie to you.
This is going to be one of my hottest takes of all time.
I think what the weekend does vocally blows MJ out of the water.
Had to add some silence.
So that being said, wake me up tomorrow.
Oh, no, no.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, no.
wake me up the first track off of the album.
Having a sample or more of interpolation elements from Michael Jackson's thriller
is very interesting as if you use MJ's thriller sample and you already are compared
to MJ to the point where you've even covered MJ's songs and put it out on DSP.
So obviously his estate is fond of you.
Obviously people are comparing y'all to.
to use his sample and do what you did over Wake Me Up,
I think people know what you're trying to get across.
Now, maybe I'm tripping.
Maybe I'm just pinning two amazing vocalists against each other.
But let me tell you that something.
I just need y'all to know.
The weekend is one of the greatest voices we've ever heard in music history.
I may have to pause that because he's a male.
So I'm going to say pause.
I know it's 2024, but you aren't saying I'm, you know what I mean?
Have my preferences.
y'all have yours so i'm gonna say pause so with that being said him sampling michael jackson's thriller
on wake me up and then the transition into the right into the second track of the album showcases
how emphatically he is unequivocally we use on all the syllables to describe this because this man
is the greatest vocalist currently the greatest male vocalist currently
and maybe just maybe the greatest male vocalist of all time it's just a whole experience whenever you listen to his music
because not only is it produced by mike dean which mike dean in itself that's a whole other segment
to talk about the type of creativity that this man comes with it's just overall a fantastic
intro to a fantastic album and i've listened to this twice mind you i'm gonna keep saying that because of course
first impressions you know they could always change but right now i ain't going to lie to you this
album is phenomenal phenomenal and i just think that it's it's not only honoring michael jackson
but i think he's took the he took the equation of what michael jackson used to give vocally
and he's upgraded it to the point where now the weekend is probably one of the greatest
vocal vocalist that we've ever heard so with that been said click my link to my bio
Let me know one of my social media is.
What do you think about Wake Me Up, the first track off of the weekends,
Hurry Up Tomorrow album?
