Starting point is 00:00:00 Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for free content. Now, of course, we already have dived into this specific topic before, but when it comes to this particular artist making a notorious mass effect, I had to get into the creator behind this artist because, of course, Diago Navarro is definitely an AI artist that was created by Anya Cruz Revella. And as far as what that particular individual looks like, of course, look no further to Annalated dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because as you can see this is the person uh not that person that's the interviewer uh this is the person that created the ai
Starting point is 00:00:40 sensation that's currently going crazy to the point where the AI creation that he's titling diago navarro currently has 10.6 million Spotify streams 1.5 to 2 million monthly listeners and of course 18 I know 8 million YouTube views and that's not even counting certain videos that has the lyrics as you can see right here this is the Diago Navarro lyrical video just showcasing the lyrics on a separate YouTube channel and it already has 4.8 million views in one month now you probably think it to yourself why in the world are you highlighting a random AI artist well it's because of the transparency.
Starting point is 00:01:31 You guys. You know, there's certain songs out there that we come to realize after the fact is AI. There's certain people in the gaming industry that develop certain titles that's interesting as far as the culture they're trying to replicate for that specific video game, yet they hide their face
Starting point is 00:01:52 and they don't showcase their origins because they know that can negatively affect the product that they put. hood out. I'm definitely talking about hood warfare. You ain't think he was going to have that as a shout out in the AI coverage, huh? So anyways, um, basically the developers of hood warfare too are hiding their faces, I believe, because they're, the culture they're trying to benefit from. They're not originally from that culture, right? But when you look at, to tie back in, when you look at a near Cruz Ravila, who's right here, basically, this is an actual human. So this is him right
Starting point is 00:02:27 here talking about it and his AI transparency with the artist he created that he's calling thago navarro i believe that is why people are so willing to support this artist right here this is the artist that he created so this is the actual person hold up this is the actual person behind the creation and this is the actual AI created artist that he made and is having tremendous success right now so basically the reason why we even highlight this is because it's making a notorious mass effect, but there's a bigger discussion, because if you don't know, I covered recently UMG and Sony suing the AI company Suno. Now, the reason why this is a big deal is because they are complaining the big dogs in the music industry, not some random label
Starting point is 00:03:15 suing Suno is the big dogs. UMG currently has 68% of the entire music market share. Sony currently has 20% of the entire music market share. Warner currently has 12% of the music market share. They were a part of the big three as far as suing Suno. But of course, they basically was like, hey, y'all got it. We settled and they partnered with Suno, talking about Warner. Warner partnered with Suno. So now it's just UMG and Sony suing Suno.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Now, the reason why that's such a big deal is because there's a lot of dollars on the table, allegedly being taken out of the hands of UMG and Sony and they're upset they're basically saying that the potential statutory damages cited in the coverage is up to nine billion dollars so basically you're looking at all these creators like let me get his name correct they're looking at all these creators like any air cruise rivilla creating people like diago nevarro having such a notorious mass effect and say it to themselves i know that ain't who i think it is as of Of course, these lawsuits that's thrown towards Suno's way lets you know overall how they feel about these people who create AI artists in the first place because they believe in the genesis
Starting point is 00:04:32 of the AI music creation, they're learning from artists that are under their umbrella as far as the specific music labels. And if they have specific music labels under their umbrella, under contract, and the AI platform is learning from those individuals, when now they need to be compensated because because the ultimate foundation of where the Suno AI platform comes from is UMG, Sony, Warner artists. So that is why the lawsuit exists in the first place. Now, of course, AI companies like Suno came out and, you know, they basically refuted as the CEO, Mikey Showman, came out and said that Suno's licensing content that they're using for training, right? they're not just stealing content.
Starting point is 00:05:21 And basically they said that the accumulated knowledge and development is from Suno's team. And Suno says this platform exists to help more people create music. Prime example, Anir Cruz Revila. So basically, bring this full circle. The reason why I'm even talking about this artist is because he's one of the biggest, well, it is one of the biggest AI artists on the internet as of right now. this is the human behind it. So you're probably wondering why people are even supporting him in the first place as far as in New Air Cruz Revella.
Starting point is 00:05:55 And it's because he's so transparent with his creation, his AI creation, that he basically came out and said, and because this is in Spanish, if you don't believe me? So that's why your boy dreams is here to translate it in English. You know what I'm saying? Oh, come on, Juski. Come on, Juski. Come on, Juski.
Starting point is 00:06:15 They ain't got to do all that. You ain't got to do all that. definitely make sure to rate this five stars so anyway so translate this uh interview in english basically a neir-cruz ravela is saying in this specific interview that let me see he writes the lyrics and concept then uses a i tools for the melody voice avatar and video so he's credited as a lyrical i don't know as a lyricist and composer on the tracks and described the project as a way to share ideas quickly when he lacked a traditional voice or our distribution path.
Starting point is 00:06:52 So now, when you look at the numbers, when you look at the revenue, because you know, I'm a Hall of Fame pocket watcher, it's safe to say, of course, it is hard to realize how much he's making from platforms, what, no, from DSPs, such as Spotify, Apple, Amazon, et cetera. It's hard to know how much he's making
Starting point is 00:07:10 from different social media, such as TikTok and Instagram social audio usage. But it's safe to assume that he's making upwards to $50,000 to $60,000 on average as far as these particular tracks. Now, of course, I believe there's no precise revenue figures. I'm just spitting like ballpark numbers because you look at everything. Of course, with me being in this for quite some time, full time, you start to realize the numbers from certain platforms definitely way differently.
Starting point is 00:07:43 You put up numbers on Spotify, not to sound biased, but it's way different than putting up numbers on TikTok where everybody can have a moment, right? So anyways, I believe the revenue is low thousands. So 50,000 would probably be the max. I'll say he's making from this. I said per sear song. That was, I misspoke with that. I think ultimately his ceiling is around 50 to 60,000. But when you look at it, being from AI viral volume, you come to realize that he could make it into a certain production that brings in even more revenue in the future. But I don't want to spend
Starting point is 00:08:20 too much time on this because it's a much bigger discussion, which is why I got into and it's coming out soon, which is why I covered the Suno versus UMG and Sony lawsuit, because it's such a big deal as far as AI completely having a renaissance as far as people
Starting point is 00:08:36 really enjoying the musical creation. And now we see an actual human coming out and being straight up transparent about his AI creations. And as you can tell, once again, I let the Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. As you can tell, even though this is listed as an AI platform, right, I believe it's listed AI somewhere. Well, whenever you look this up, I believe it says AI. But basically, this is his AI creation's YouTube channel.
Starting point is 00:09:03 And you know, it's doing pretty well. If I do say so myself, this is pretty, this is very solid numbers. Is that a dog going to the world? I mean, can that dog box? You know what I'm saying? All right, my fault. I'm just saying dogs nowadays in AI land they be boxing so anyways this is the YouTube video our YouTube channel 74,000 subscribers for 16 videos I think the sky is the limit for this particular person once again his name is a near a neer a near Cruz Ravila obviously this is not me casting the spurges on him if you actually listen to the segment basically is me talking about the standpoint of music industry versus AI and how it's going to culminate into something via the lawsuit
Starting point is 00:09:43 we're seeing with UMG and Sony going at Suno. So I don't have a problem with it if they're as transparent like any airs being, but a lot of times, 80% of the time, they're not transparent, and they hide behind the fact that is an AI creation and they try to act like it's themselves, right? So with that being said, I'll be interested to hear what y'all have to say about this whole AI sensation that's going on with Tiago Navarro. Make sure to click my link to my bio to follow me on my social media. And of course, if you're on Spotify, make sure to comment.
Starting point is 00:10:13 down below. Admittedly, if you listen to certain AI music or artists, what is your favorite AI track currently?
