How ironic that the track nasty is currently sitting at 69 as far as the most played track in the world.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, Tanase has caught herself one.
Peaking at 69, being on the charts for about two weeks, let me tell you, TikTok works wonders.
because not only is the nasty track doing fantastic but the track from tenache titled songs for you
has now sold over a hundred thousand units in the u.s so not only is the track nasty another
here for tenache to put on her achievements but it's also helping out other tracks and projects from
her. So as far as
what this means for
Tanasha, just recognized that it's the
biggest streaming
track
Tanasha has ever had
as far as in recent
past years.
Because
just making it onto the
charts isn't enough. You got to stay on the
charts and you have to show some type of
rise and that's what Nasty
is doing. As it first
came on the charts with number
90 or being the 90 most 90th most played track in the world then it climbed the charts into 69 so it's only been on the charts for two weeks so it seems like it's going to keep rising as far as the popularity but as far as ticot the nasty track from tennashi rose to number three marking a new peak after five weeks on the charts so think about that
The type of rise that Tenache is having with the track nasty is very unorthodox.
And I think personally this is only able to even exist because of the TikTok platform,
which is why certain musicians, like I just heard Rod Wave, he started off a song.
He just randomly said free TikTok.
I was like, whoa, hold up now.
When that happened, when that started to be a thing, y'all got to start wearing free TikTok on your shirts, on your pants,
glasses like is that really a movement like like put me what kindrick say bear with me for a second
let me put y'all on game like somebody put me on game because i ain't know that ticot was out here
really filling people's pockets like that when it came to musicians because usually when it came to
TikTok the only people I've seen who really had it like that as far as like getting money like for real for real is the NPC people on TikTok but as far as musicians I guess it makes sense because it bubbles up an authentic rise of people's liking to your song and then like in Tanashi's case it becomes one of the most successful tracks in your career even if the track first came out and didn't get too much traction now
that TikTok took the track and people start to go through its algorithm to listen to your track.
Now it's bubbled up on the billboard charts, whereas we get a track debuting at 90, but now it's not going down that's rising to number 69, which is currently at for the Tenasha nasty track.
So TikTok is really actively reshaping the music discovery system.
in a way that a SoundCloud used to, a Spinella used to, cassette tape, vinyl, like, that is how influential TikTok is on the music landscape.
And I cannot answer why.
Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, they haven't been able to replicate that same level of authentic rise when it comes to short clips.
But let's just say the algorithm at TikTok must be something.
special because the U.S. government consistently keeps trying to get them to that best the TikTok
American portion to a U.S. company, so an American company basically.
So obviously America wants to find, well, the U.S. government wants to find that out too.
They're like, how in the world is your algorithm blowing up artists who, in other words,
without it, would be irrelevant?
you know not to be too harsh on tenache but when's the last time that she had an organic hit on the charts
so for ticot to authentically build that organic engagement for your track for it now to bubble up on the
billboard charts i mean ticot has some different level of power when it comes to music discovery
and having audience engagement so that is actually wild
to see TikTok
translating
music into broader recognition
for it to become mainstream
on the Billboard Hot 100
simply
put it's showcasing
how valuable
TikTok actually is
like forget all the other stuff with the NPCs
and stuff this is what TikTok was made for
it
music wise
this is the best
as far as
being a musician if you're not putting out if you're not putting out your music consistently on
tic-tok you're not doing it right so that's basically it that's all i wanted to cover really none
else to get into to nashay congratulations to you i know academics is probably fuming because he
hey he was like if she ain't gonna be popular through me then i don't want it you know i'm glad you found
another way to be you know successful on the charts and at the end of the day you know she did have
her biggest streaming day with nasty as far as putting up a 1.7 million streams on Spotify back
in June 19 so of course it's a test to TikTok and hey that she shows once again that if
TikTok goes away there's going to be a lot of artists out there you know grieving
and mourning the loss of the platform that once blew them up called TikTok.
So with that being said, click my link to view my bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about Tanasei blowing up on TikTok via her song, Nasty?
And as far as the evolution of TikTok and the amount of artists has been able to blow up,
would you miss TikTok if it was eventually banned from the U.S.?
