Starting point is 00:01:15 It's safe to say. There is a recurrent character in the arc of this podcast, Notorious Mass Effect. And the reason for the applause is because Tito Double P. after dropping a phenomenal album with his cousin, after going, well, currently, on a world tour that has had many sold-out dates, even after all that, he still came back and gave his fans another album. As of course, if you're not familiar with Tito Double P, he's a Latin musician. If you don't know, when it comes to Peso Pluma, that is his cousin,
Starting point is 00:02:01 as in his rise of fame, I've covered this before, but for people who are new to Tito P. Tito Pee, his cousin, Paiso Pluma in 2021, discovered his talents via social media, singing videos, and inviting him to collaborate. And the Tito D.O.P. wrote and gave Paiso Pluma, L. Belichon. And that specific track was his first big hit and hit the 2022 Billboard Hot Latin songs. So Paisal Pluma quickly realized, not only is he my cousin, but he's also immensely talented and guess what the rest was history as of course I've already talked about this specific album time and time again but the specific album with Paiso Pluma and Tito double Pee was let me see if I can find it because I have so much
Starting point is 00:02:52 coverage of it I kid you not yeah so we talked about Dynastia we talked about Dynastia the deluxe of course I talked about Paisal Pluma Kanye West with his with his with his with their collaboration last breath off of Kanye's bully album. Of course, Paiso Pluma and Tito Double P had an immaculate track titled 7-3. And of course, as of right now, the reason why we even get into Tito DPP again is because he has phenomenal stamina when it comes to the music industry. Is it okay? I got my dope on me?
Starting point is 00:03:23 Oh, my fault. That's the wrong artist. But you know, at the end of the day, Tito Dopp and Drake, if they don't have one thing, well, if they have one thing in common, is definitely the songwriter penmanship being immensely respected. And of course, the work ethic to go along with it to continue to put out bodies of work even while on tour. Because this is not just some regular tour. Paiso Pluma is one of the biggest Latin musicians in the game. So Tito Double P attaching himself to a tour of that magnitude
Starting point is 00:03:57 and still being able to put out a project like this that is notoriously affecting the masses as the best performing track off of Commodo, which is the album title, a Commodo. The best performing track off of the album is Me, Vee, which is the 13th most played track in Mexico. And then, of course, he has Poros Bezos, which is the 18th most played track in Mexico,
Starting point is 00:04:24 and he has a bunch of other tracks on the charts with Paiso Pluma off of the Dynastia album. So when it comes to Tito Double P just being very busy, this is one hardworking man in the music industry because he's giving us a lot of material because this is not just some short body of work. It's 23 tracks, an hour and seven minutes. Dynastia, the original version,
Starting point is 00:04:48 came out December 25th, 2025. So technically it was close to this year, right? So only like six months after. and that album was 44 minutes in length, not the longest, right? Pause. But then, of course, when you have the Dynasty,
Starting point is 00:05:02 the Deluxe Edition, in totality, that was 55 minutes. So in totality, you have 55 minutes with this collab album, with his cousin, went on tour with him,
Starting point is 00:05:13 selling out all type of locations and arenas. Are they doing arenas? I think they're doing arenas. And then, of course, whilst on tour put out an hour and seven minutes, minutes of solo material because of course you know sometimes when it comes to the collaborative effort
Starting point is 00:05:30 you have a lot of load taken off of you because of you only having to do like 50% of the verses now of course the hooks is a whole other thing i guess it just depends on who catches a vibe in the studio the most but when it comes to verses usually you give one verse the other person gives their verse and then that's the whole song so you can run through an album very quickly in a collaborative process But when it comes to doing a hour and seven minutes all by yourself, those are so many verses you're putting together, scrapping some verses, put in the top verses, and certain tracks that you are prioritizing for the marketing rollout. And all of them are you. None of them are your cousin, you know, chiming in with certain verses, of course, is this whole project is all about you. And speaking of all about Tito-P, analytical.
Starting point is 00:06:21 dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because I currently have the hypebees cover up as they have a title said that it reads Tito Double P is his true self on a comidou because if you don't know fun fact you know we have fun facts over here you know what I'm saying all right my fault let me get back to it so basically when it comes to Tito double P's transition into being a front facing artist his first ever album was in 24 with his album in Komando, which if you don't know, in English, is uncomfortable. So with that specific album, if I could find it, that specific album came out August 22nd, 2024.
Starting point is 00:07:02 That did Immaculent as far as the actual numbers. I think I have it right here. As far as the actual numbers that they, it peaked at number one top Latin albums and regional Mexican albums and held number one for weeks. When it comes to the U.S. Billboard, which I've talked about, a bunch of times on what's the difference. But basically, U.S. Billboard is like totality. It's not regional
Starting point is 00:07:23 base. So in totality, he debuted at number 20. But it was his strongest solo project, because guess what? I mean, it was his debut. To debut as the 20th most played album out the gate, I think it's a phenomenal accomplishment. So anyways, getting back in Ancoma, though, which means uncomfortable,
Starting point is 00:07:40 August 22, 2024, he put out 58 minutes in length 21 tracks total. And then, of course, May 28th, 2026, he put out Acommodo, which is comfortable, which
Starting point is 00:07:55 are settled. And basically, with that being said, this specific transition is him accepting the front-facing life and where it will take him and being more comfortable with being a front-facing artist because he's used to being behind the scenes writing music for
Starting point is 00:08:12 not only his cousin, but I believe he wrote his for other artists in general. He's a very strong, songwriter. So to go from songwriter to front-facing artists, it's not as easy as some would think it is. And there are certain instances in hip-hop that I could point out, point out as far as particular songwriters being attached heavily to legendary projects, and then we never heard of them again. The fan base just said, it moved on to the actual artist he was writing for. So it's not as easy to be a songwriter for a very,
Starting point is 00:08:48 popular act and then transition into being a front-facing artist and still being successful in your own right because he's definitely not as big as Paiso Pluma, which I'm not trying to slight him, but you know, he'll probably say it himself as a Commodore, which is his latest album, did debut as the 37th most played album in the world. So the first week sales was 21,000. now of course with the 2024 album he debuted at number 20 but that's so 26,000 first week so when you come to put in perspective he's doing pretty well for himself going from songwriter to front facing artists but he still no like superstar act but he's doing much better than like 99.9% of songwriters heavy songwriters that try to transition the front
Starting point is 00:09:40 facing act because it's a very difficult process and as of right now i believe maybe i'm giving him the benefit of doubt or just giving him a little leeway because he did sell 21 000 first week but i believe he made the songwriter to artist transition for uh very smoothly and he talked about it a little bit as he basically said much of his focus this is from tito double p um much of much of his focus was on songwriting and creating music behind the scenes but now he performed he performed he performed he prefers to perform live, which of course he's on the dynasty tour with his cousin, Paisal Pluma. And then if given a choice, he would rather be on stage, sing directly for the audience, and embrace his role as a front-facing act. So I think this is just a sign of
Starting point is 00:10:28 what's to come, especially going to a tour and putting out music or putting out an album in the midst of the tour. For me, it never made too much sense. Because people who see you live, they have a more, they have a higher percentage of leaving that live performance, especially if you do well and listening to your discography. So why not build up that fan base over time and all your live performances? And then after you built up that fan base at the end of the tour, why not put that an album then instead of the midst of the tour? It's just my opinion.
Starting point is 00:11:02 But, you know, I just think that would be better in the long run. So not sliding him for like working in the midst of the tour. But, you know, as far as the numbers coming back the way it is, I think that would have helped to increase it just a little bit. So I think it was basically that I was wanting to get into. But Accomedo is still doing well in Mexico specifically as the best performing track is currently the 13th most played track in Mexico as far as me, Vail, the best performer track off of Comedo. And of course, you have, oh, I didn't even mention Nadi. So let me see. So Nadi is currently the 48th most played track in Mexico.
Starting point is 00:11:42 That's also offered a Camado album. And then you have Passet-Wa Pase, which is the 37th most played track of Mexico. And it seems like it's rising in Mexico specifically. So I think if he keeps working the regional streets, at some point, he'll be able to transition into a bigger act. But as far as being a songwriter, going into a front-facing artist, I think this is a phenomenal launching pad, especially with your cousin being Paisal Pluma. So, you know, the stardom or the actual exposure is not. going anywhere and um with that being said i think it was something else as far as if you was going to see him on tour they are still on they are still on tour i don't know when it ends i think it ends
Starting point is 00:12:20 let me see they are going to festival appearances they're going to be going all throughout twenty 26 okay yeah so if you haven't already i mean it's not an ad but of course if you are a huge paste of plume mortito double pfam i think if you just go to ticket master and type the names in it should pop up but yeah they're going to be a live performer for quite some time and they're going to multiple Mexico show slash festival appearances like the Palmanah, California in June
Starting point is 00:12:45 2026? I think that's how you said. And then Mexico City in November 2026. So yeah, they're very active in the live performance scenes. I'm just trying to see if I missed anything. And then that's basically it. So shout to Tito Double P. Once again, showcasing the hard work and work ethic
Starting point is 00:13:02 will get you places that, you know, laziness could not.
