Starting point is 00:00:03 Now of course as an owner of an independent record label and of course with the independent record label founded in April 2023, as far as double Preekers of course started by Mexican artist Peso Pluma. It has to feel nice to have somebody on the label who is also putting up the same amount of engagement, especially in Mexico specifically when it comes to musical tracks. Now the reason why I'm saying that is, because Tito double P currently has eight tracks in Mexico as far as in the top 50, right? But then you come to Peso Pluma, who also has a lot of tracks in Mexico for to be exact. And then, of course, he has the most popular track out of the bunch with Marina, with Nathan Vega, which is going crazy right now as far as in Mexico specifically. And I believe, yeah, when it comes to Nathan Vega, he also has an entire album as far as globally and the top 40 as far as me, Vita, me, Marrethe being the 32nd most played album in the world. So when it comes to that, obviously you already know my praise for Nathan Vega as he also has a track title, Loco, which is the 95th most played track in the world. But when it comes to Tito double P, which we're focusing on him specifically for this segment, he currently has a track titled Champagne.
Starting point is 00:01:36 And the reason why I wanted to cover this is because when it comes to Tito Double Pee, not only does he have a lot of tracks charting in Mexico specifically, but him being under Peso Pluma, but also putting up his own numbers as far as Champagne being the 17th most played track in Mexico is a phenomenal accomplishment. especially with this track just recently coming out. And he also has another track out titled La Loba that came out after what I think it was. So Champagne came out May 15th. La Loba came out May 22nd. And now you're looking at it and saying to yourself, this man has been on a consistent grind, even though he has a lot of tracks still rising on the charts to the point where he's probably one of the more. hotter artists analytically when it comes to the regional Mexican sound and the reason
Starting point is 00:02:34 why I wanted to cover that is because in totality he has about 10 tracks in total in Mexico and when it comes to the cross-collaborative efforts obviously being under double Pue records you're already gonna have tracks with Peso Pluma but when you also have tracks with Los de Reyes de la Sierra which I already covered as far as Vita Verde. He also has tracks with Neatin Vega. Neen Vega is a consistent Mexican artist, especially when you come to who's engaging the masses worldwide. Nate and Vega is one of those type of artists that have transitioned and crossed over into the global mainstream as he's one of the only Mexican artists. Well, him in, yeah, Bad Bunny are the two Latin musicians that are crossing over to
Starting point is 00:03:26 the global engagement and consumption of caritos tumandos uh tumbados so that being said i want to get back to champagne as this is basically representing tito double p's ongoing redefinition uh or redefining the regional mexican music sound as if you don't know with this particular track he has a lot of demo but also rap implemented into his delivery to the point where it's always a refreshing list and you never hear something that's monotonous as far as his his routine and making music because when you're listening to certain artists sometimes you have a patented flow that you stick with because it makes the charts with Tito double P he has a lot of different genres that he crosses over and that he blends in his musical creation process to the point where now
Starting point is 00:04:21 you're listening to an artist that could put out a straight Carridos timbado's track a a dembo track or they could put out a rap track implementing all three genres and i think that's a testament to how he's been doing phenomenal on the charts especially with his debut album and comado that came out last year being number 20th on u.s billboard 200 being number one and u.s top latin albums and of course number one on regional mexican albums so when it once again to reiterate when it comes to peso pluma starting this independent label back in 23 and already having people under his label that's putting up a significant amount of numbers to the point where he may be putting up similar to uh numbers to peso pluma in the foreseeable future that's definitely a w for an
Starting point is 00:05:11 owner of an independent record label because at the end of the day this label as far as double p records focuses on uh musica mexicana particularly the karidos genre so now It's nice that they found their mascot for the label because let's just say Tito DPP is doing more than representing the brand in a positive light. So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know one of my social media's. What do you think about Tito Dopp's track Champagne? And do you think that Tito Dopp is currently the most popular artist on DPP records?
