I just want to know what came into Tori Lanes's mind to make him switch genres this drastically.
Like, talk about him being in prison because he is not dropping any bars on this alone-in-a-prong-pronged deluxe.
Now, of course, that's because he has went into this 1980s inspired character for this album.
and basically he said it's a mix of influences which consist of
hall and oats toto michael jackson and rick james
so alone at prom is like a combination of influences
that has culminated into one of the best albums
that tory lanes has ever put out so even though he's in prison so he can't
drop bars in real life or on this album he's also trying to give us a certain rendition of a sound
that we used to well not we well depending if you did but if you did then you may be a little on the
older side down let me chill let me chill so basically alone at prom deluxe is out now and the last time
tory lanes had a number one album was in 2018 with new toronto three
I believe.
So with this album, obviously it's not going to sell like it should because he's in jail.
He can't promote it like he should.
And since he's in jail, his marketing team, which is called like the umbrellas, I believe,
is going around giving different voicemails to like academics and people and things of that nature.
Like literally, the way that they even announced alone at prom deluxe was more of a voicemail or voice
call or whatever.
And basically you can listen to that right here.
If you want to watch it, of course,
Analytic Dreams video on Spotify.
So with that being said,
this is what they had to do
simply because this man is in prison.
They can't promote himself.
So they try to find a creative way
to get his message out there
and this is what they did.
Hey, yo, umbrellas, man.
What's good?
I'm talking to you live from prison right now, man.
I'm just happy to get out there.
I don't know why he said it like that.
Like the way he said,
I'm talking to you live from prison.
It's like D.O.C. of Kaisenet's prison skit or prison stream.
Because what in the world type of, I mean, I guess he can't come on the phone.
Like, man, I'm in jail right now.
I hope y'all listen to my music.
But dang, this man acting like he had recess or something.
Like, yeah, we're on a lunch break right now, just finished recess.
I just want y'all to check out my album.
Like, that's man in prison.
I don't understand.
But anyways, let's finish the promotion.
All shit County Jail.
They were hated on a young fly,
nigger, did you hurt,
have you a 24-hour lockdown,
half-size cell by myself,
no windows, no mirrors.
Nick ain't even seen himself
in the whole year, yo.
But with all them disadvantages
against me, my head has always been held high,
man, and I want you out of know
I'm in great spirits.
My drive and my ambition
is growing stronger and stronger
every day, and I'm so proud
of how y'all been moving
in my support, man.
I know this feels like a scary time,
but don't be afraid, man.
This shit don't spark no.
fair in my heart at all.
In fact, I'm more prepared than ever.
The music, the videos, and all the
projects you've wanted, they all ready to drop.
So let's just start with the one that we want most.
The alone and crime deluxe.
You have one.
So with that being said, of course,
he dropped it just
today, I believe. November
17?
Yeah, November 17th, it dropped.
This obviously came out like seven weeks
ago. So for
the umbrellas to build up the
hype for this deluxe edition and then to listen to it like he's out in the free world it shows
the immense support that the umbrellas are bringing as far as his coat like fan base because i do
not believe that this will have any impact on the billboard top 100 nor does it need to i think
his co-fan base just needs to keep his presence alive until he gets out of prison which if you
don't know he's currently serving a 10-year prison sentence but
But some people say that he won't have to serve the full time.
So they're looking at six to seven, maybe even five years.
As far as in person, I don't even know how you put it, basically in prison.
I think it's called like Tom served as something.
I forget what that's called.
Anyways, I'm no lawyer.
That's what everybody else is saying, like he won't have to serve the whole 10 years.
Obviously for me, I'm not going to say I don't care because that's harsh.
but I do believe that if you put yourself in certain situations,
then you got to deal with the outcome,
and this is just one of the unfortunate outcomes for Tori Lanes
in the midst of him trying to promote this album.
So with that being said, of course I listened to it a little bit.
I got through like three or four tracks.
I haven't listened to the whole thing,
so I can't get my like real review of the album,
but I can say that from what I've heard,
Straightfire, he's right back in his bag of that 1980s,
inspired sound and i just think that the way that the thought infiltrated his mind to switch to this
genre is just insane because the 80s style sound he is really good at with that being said click my
link to your my bio let me know one of my social medias have you listened to troy lanes is alone
at prom deluxe and if you have what is your favorite track off of the deluxe
