Starting point is 00:00:00 Melt down the chains that I bought from your boss. Give an expeditive about all that heritage since V not around, the members that hung up the Louis Vaton. They're not wearing that expeditive. Don't come to the boy about repairing some expeditive. Don't come to the boy about repairing, about sparing some expeditive. You lucky that Vogue was suing because I would have been what. with the wasses in paris now let me tell y'all something when i say that drake is the goat there's a lot of instances that i can point towards you know whether it's back to back whether it's him
Starting point is 00:00:45 completely switching up to genre and dropping a monumental smash classic in one dance whether it's his hilarious interpretation and impersonation and him just simulating to ukic culture with the famous catchphrase that has since been a meme a memeified, if that's a word, with him saying combination in a very interesting and sarcastic and hilarious
Starting point is 00:01:18 fashion. Also, with the ability to go from rap to house music, to go from rap to pop music, to go from rap to UK style music even to go from rap to actually singing
Starting point is 00:01:38 in literal Spanish with the track Bad Bunny titled Mia I believe Drake is the most versatile artist we've ever been blessed to have in the hip-hop Manosphere with that being said Meltdown off of Utopia is not actually my favorite track off of this album I know a lot of y'all would think that this would be my favorite track, but sincerely, I believe that Drake rapping was not enough for this track to be my favorite.
Starting point is 00:02:15 I feel like they kind of went for a sickle mode type of appeal because, of course, they switched to beat again. And while this track is up there, probably my top three, probably top two, but it is two, you know. If Drake would have came back on at the end with that beat switch, I think that this would have been my favorite track. because I kind of feel like they was going for Sickle Mode Part 2, but the thing with Sickle Mode is that Drake came on again at the end of Sickle Mode when the beat changed and gave us even more bars. That's missing here,
Starting point is 00:02:47 which is why I feel like Meltdown kind of has a missing aspect to it for me. I see what they was trying to do. Travis Scott coming on, name dropping left and right, talking about I'll shoot you in Walmart like I'm the baby because you know
Starting point is 00:03:08 those are the type of bars we're here to hear I guess that's a double entendre anyways don't ask me how and then he says your boy going lionel messy
Starting point is 00:03:18 I go Tom Brady I don't know what that means man maybe it's a playoff football I don't think he understands that football is like totally different sports and anyways that's a point
Starting point is 00:03:27 and so we're not trying to hear that we try to hear the drake we try to hear the goat come back on again with the beach changed and that did not happen which i was a little upset about i was a little upset but i was like you really just gave this man a verse and just like it was kind of it just felt like he had an open verse he was like hey drake can you do something to that he did something to it and walked away
Starting point is 00:03:47 it didn't feel like a collaborative track it just felt like Drake gave Travis a verse and that was it sick of mode felt like a moment in time where both artists was playing off each other beat switching they come in and back and forth and then after that was like a classic. Probably one of the best hip-hop tracks ever created in Sickle mode. So when you come to meltdown and they don't have that back and forth, when there's more of a generic open verse, okay, insert your verse, okay, the track is done, type of collaboration. I feel like it leaves more to be desired, but also, on the other hand, it's still a phenomenal track, which I think is top three off of the album, simply for
Starting point is 00:04:32 Drake, giving his wonderful, masterful bars completely. subbing subliminally dissing for those who don't know what subbing is pusha t and feral williams now it hurts my heart that feral and drake are beefing but hey teach his own man for some reason drake has some type of chain that's like a very rare chain that feral used to have he even like took a picture with it you have to look it up i'm not i'm not looking it up but anyways he took up a picture he took a picture of feral's like infamous chains with like the game controller or whatever and I guess the reason why the tracks called meltdown is because he took those chains that he bought from your boss I don't know who
Starting point is 00:05:15 Farrell's boss is I have to look that up I even know that man had a boss but anyways he said he melt down the change that I bought from your boss that's the change that he's talking about the whole like controller chain from Farrell whatever he melted he melt that down whatever so he would have popped up in Paris vogue was ensuing so I don't know how that is I don't know how that is I don't I don't understand, man. I think he just wants to be for somebody, honestly. But my favorite part is what he started off with.
Starting point is 00:05:45 I mean, he basically said, heard your new joint. It's embarrassing. You talk to the cops on some therapists. You act like you love this American. But really, the truth is you scared of the six. Now, before the first two lines, I think he was specifically talking about Gunna.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Not going to lie to you. I know a lot of people are probably like, he could be talking to anybody why you think he's talking about gunna it's literally because you say you talk to the cops on some therapist expeditive and who else would he be talking about but gunner i mean the line comes right after herge your new joint it's embarrassing and drake's completely lying that gunner is straight heat till his day every time i listen to the album i think i find a new favorite song but anyways i guess drake has to you know ride with slime king's king slime as they call him and make sure he's down for the cause
Starting point is 00:06:36 and make sure he just says that gun and stuff is trash and maybe people will stop listening but guess what Drake said it's trash and I'm still listening and that stuff is Frego like what you mean which is like the PG version of you know you know what is is on rotation to this day
Starting point is 00:06:54 so anyways but talking to some talking to the cops and some therapists it's pretty funny like is Drake a street rapper like why is he talking like that anyways that's what's the point But that's my whole review Travis did his thing
Starting point is 00:07:08 I guess But when you have the goat on your track Like obviously I'm just I'm only gonna review what the ghost said I mean him talking about You know Don't talk to the boy about comparisons Or come to the boy on some arrogant
Starting point is 00:07:22 The weapons we got Or some terrorists Like TV producers we airing That stuff was That stuff was fire Like it's like come on bro Like y' y'all gonna she asking for bread for her parents
Starting point is 00:07:37 I told her I don't got no cash as he said she's gonna wait on a rack on some Eric big oh my who coming up with these bars man where Quinn Miller when you need them anyways my fault I mean I meant that to say like in a compliment type of way that could have been taken as a
Starting point is 00:07:55 slight especially if Drake was listening for some reason he doesn't really like Quinn Miller I wonder why anyways this man also said I put out a million and stare and the lyric after that it was I'm not going to lie
Starting point is 00:08:12 it was kind of weird Drake hearing that in my you know and especially I mean I guess we could understand but like just saying that out loud it's like one of those things
Starting point is 00:08:27 you kind of keep to yourself it's like I understand you have a women demographic but males also listen and like to repeat what you say and that's kind of a pause moment, which you just said there. All I'm gonna say is he said something got hard
Starting point is 00:08:42 because a wire just hit. That's all I'm gonna say. If you don't know what a wire is, it's when it's a certain amount so people just like wire it to you. That doesn't clear it up at all for y'all. My fault. It's like a large sum of money, right?
Starting point is 00:08:55 That you can't just like write a check for a baby. I don't know how that works. I'm not like, hey, I'm not used to getting wired. So, but basically it's for large amounts. So it like actually goes through. doesn't like bounce you know when they say like the check bounce i don't know i guess they're wired to you it's like easier i don't know i'm not no bank taylor uh teller or no bank worker but
Starting point is 00:09:14 apparently when you wire it's a bunch it's for a large amount of money so who's i say yeah so drake we we're not trying to hear that bro we don't we don't care how much you're getting paid and wired we're not trying to hear like your reactions to it all right okay but i ain't gonna lie bro when he said my schedule is out come spin us once again Is Drake a street rapper? Like, am I confused? When did he, like, wasn't he just showcasing him being in an interview with, and then painting his nails and then having showcasing his face routine? Like, where did this street appeal come from?
Starting point is 00:09:53 Like, is Drake a gangster? I'm so confused. When did this happen? Swear I'm a Drake, I'm a Drake stand. I don't even know when he started talking gangster. Like, wasn't he just in a wheelchair? Like, honestly, when the interviewer, when the interviewer asked him, when he was like when he learned to walk again i thought that was probably the most like i thought
Starting point is 00:10:15 that was the funniest part of the interview because um just where he came from is just so different to what he is now is like where did this gangster appeal come from anyways man i blame j prince and if uh the drake stands out there y'all know what that means that j prince and uh he who shall not be name is the prospect for while all this is happening. So I don't know. Click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about the Travis Guy and Drake track titled Meltdown? And is it your favorite track off of the album? And if not, what is your favorite track? And also, who do you think had a better verse? Drake or Aubrey Ground off of the track Meltdown?
Starting point is 00:11:08 Thank you.
