Starting point is 00:00:00 Continuing with the first impressions of the Travis Scott Utopia album, I believe we have to look no further than track for My Eyes. As this track featuring Sanfa and Bond Iver is very interesting simply because of the production credits. I think Weezy, Justin Vernon, Buddy Ross, and Wondergirl is an interesting list of producers for a track titled My Eyes because if you don't know, Travis Scott, is rapping. At all the albums I've heard from Travis Scott,
Starting point is 00:00:36 I think this is the most intentional he's ever been with showcasing his rapping ability. I think as far as the beats, they've been more experimental, not in the Little Uzi Verde type of side with a lot of rock elements, which is experimental in the way that you're usually hearing hip-hop beats. Like the way that I could describe it
Starting point is 00:00:57 as if Little Uzi-Virt leaned more into, to the hip hop elements but still had that experimental side of his album that's basically what i feel like utopia is he doesn't go in that rock realm that far left realm of experimental but he does experiment enough for you to be like okay i'm listening to a travis scy album because i have never heard a beat like this before specifically my eyes though i think this is one of those tracks that a lot of people are gravitating to but personally myself i think that's same thing personally myself. I mean, I might as well say me, myself and I, anyways, I get what I'm saying. Travis Scott is one of those type of musicians where you just let him do his thing and you just,
Starting point is 00:01:39 you just embark on the journey because Travis Scott, I think at this point in time, has one of the best hip-hop discographies ever created. I had to think about that. I didn't know if it was recency bias, but because I've said this multiple times, even before this album drops, I'm even more confident with saying that he's up there with the likes of a Kanye, a Jay-Z, for having some of the best bodies of work I've ever seen from a hip-hop artist. And that's a lot. Jay-Z has came up with the blueprint. Kanye has literally given us the graduation trilogy.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Even Nas were Illmatic. Travis got what he did with AstroWorld, what he's did with Burrs and Trapsing, McKnight. what he's did with a lot of other albums, I feel like puts him in the realm of sacred territory where his discography is up there with some of the best musicians to ever create hip hop. And this track of my eyes is no different as a lot of people are gravitating to it.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Personally, it's not my favorite, but I do think it's a very, very solid track. So anyways, click my link to your bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about Travis Scott in his latest track? well track four off a utopia title my eyes is that your favorite and if not what is your favorite track off of utopia
