So Jack Quees is still in denial, but regardless, Utopia is still coming out July 28th,
2022 under Cactus Jack in Epic Records.
Features like Bad Bunny, The Weekend, apparently Drake is supposedly on the album
with a plethora of other A-list artists, of course, because Travis Scott has been away for a while
now with his last project being released in 2018 and it is now year 2023.
Now why is such a long break?
Well, since I'm specifically focusing on the music, I'm just going to let you know that it's
simply because of the AstroWorld fiasco and these disaster that happened not too long ago.
so
Travis Scott went into hiding
came back out
and now he's going to release
an album titled Utopia
and then there's also
a movie attached with it
titled Circus Maximus
and it's supposed to be released
July 27th
so before the album comes out
on well at select
AMC theaters I don't know if it's just any
movie theater
in this article it just says AMC
but what you need to know is that the movie is directed by Travis Scott in collaboration with Gaspar
No, a noee.
I don't know how to say that.
Anyways, what they described it as is, quote, a surreal and psychedelic journey
uniting a collective of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic, collodoscopic.
I think that's how you said.
I don't know.
I can't read.
exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes.
So, of course, throughout the movie, it will feature music from Utopia as well as some
of Travis Scott's previous songs, and it's supposed to be a visual type of journey, adventure
for all Travis Scott fans to experience.
Now, let's get to another visual experience, as you guys probably already know.
I reported on this a while ago.
If you look up Travis Guy Utopia, it'll probably pop up, even though this will probably be titled Travis Guy Utopia.
But it's the one with, I forget what I put the title cover as.
But anyways, I covered this a while ago, like a week or two ago.
The Pyramids of Giza, which only one rapper has ever performed on or performed at, which is Russ, of course, that he, you know, didn't take any time reminding you that he was the only rapper.
to ever perform at the pyramids of geiza but to be fair i guess i would too as no other rapper has
performed at this location specifically because of the restrictions from the actual uh overseers of the
location like if you need like a special permit or whatever um Travis scott and his team
live nation was coming out saying that it was still happening but apparently
Live Nation just came out not too long ago and said,
We regret to inform you.
By the way, you can look at this as long,
along with me reading it on Analytic Dreams video,
which will all,
which will have all video elements of every segment I do.
Well, not every segment, but the most,
the segments that have the most like visual elements going on,
I'm also going to put on that channel so you can watch along with me.
So anyways,
I have the statement by Lobnation.
up on the screen and it basically says, we regret to inform you that the Utopia show originally
scheduled for July 28th at the Pyramers of Giza in Egypt is canceled. Unfortunately, despite
highest efforts, best believe they probably had the highest of efforts to make this happen.
Complex production issues meant that the show cannot be constructed in the desert. Very interesting
wording because that is not what the actual representation of the pyramids of Gis of Gis of Gis.
Giza said.
But anyways, besides
the point, they said, we understand that this
news is disappointing and not the outcome
any of us desired.
Refunds will be issued to all ticket
holders at their point of purchase.
We sincerely
apologize for any inconvenience
this cancellation may have caused
and appreciate your understanding.
We remain committed
to bringing exceptional
live performance to fans
and hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future.
Now, let me look at why this really was canceled,
because for them saying complex production issues
is beyond a slap in a face,
because this happened a while ago.
Cancelation, let me see.
So basically, there's a whole, like, representation
of pyramids of Giza,
but I forget the actual, what the coalition is called.
Okay, so the Egyptian, the Egyptian authorities
were concerned about the safety, of course.
Granted, what happened to AstroWorld was one of the most,
it was very much an atrocity that occurred.
And for me, I blame Travis Scott.
Of course, not the entire way, but I think he holds most of the blame.
But anyways, that's besides a point.
So the Egyptian authorities basically came out a long,
like way before a lot of nation came out with this statement,
basically saying that they was going to cancel it.
and they were saying that
it would promote
certain Western values that was at odds
with Egyptian culture and a lot of nation
disputed the claims
numerous times, but now they have
came out and said the truth
where they're saying they're actually canceling it.
And then what else? It was actually something else.
Okay, so this is what they're basically called.
The Egyptian syndicate of the
music, musical professions.
The body responsible for licensing live music events in Egypt.
And there was the main people who decided to cancel the concert.
And Live Nation definitely said that this was still going on despite that.
So the people in the actual location were saying it was canceled, but Live Nation could
have came out a while ago and said, okay, yeah, that report was right.
Events canceled.
But they kept saying no, the event's going to happen, we promise you.
And now they're coming out with this.
statement, which led to a lot of fans basically coming out and saying that, I mean, one of the
fans as you see on the screen, you know, shameless plug, analytic dreams video, if you want to see
the video version. But basically, a fan came out and said that he sold his, uh, his day, his day,
he sold his day. That is not, that's fake news right there. But anyways, if I can talk,
fans, a fan sold his house to, to, I'm not even trying to laugh, but like, come on now, to pay for
the Travis Scott performance at the pyramids of Giza.
And he's basically like, what am I going to do now?
You know, he canceled his, I mean, he sold his house to go to this tour.
I don't know what the tour was going to do for him.
I didn't know if he's going to have some type of enlightenment or whatever.
But now he is homeless.
Well, apparently perception-wise, seems like he's actually homeless.
And he actually put up a picture, if I can pull this up right here.
And he said, oh, he has his little TikTok.
I don't know if I can read that.
It says, that book, Sykes.
I don't know, I can't read that.
Anyways, he has his own TikTok profile,
and he put up, like, the actual proof of him selling his house
and him on, like, a plane or whatever.
Because, of course, the event happens in two days.
So, you know, people trying to plan ahead and get there early.
But because of that, I don't know if Jack Qee saw this or whatever,
or if he was just like, hey, you know what?
Forget it.
I'm just going to come out of the woodworks because he hasn't said anything
specifically about these cancellations.
But now he came out recently, literally.
10 minutes from me, uh, no, 10 to 20 minutes ago for me recording this, he said,
Travis Scott himself tweeted from his account and said, quote,
Egypt at the pyramids will happen.
But due to the demand and detailed logistics, they just need a bit of time to set lay on lands.
What does that mean?
Anyways, he goes on to say, quote, I will keep you posted on a date which will be soon.
Love you all.
I don't know what Travis Scott's trying to do.
I don't know if he's trying to save his ticket sales
or if he's just trying to
hoodwink his fans and to buying a ticket
knowing that it's not going to happen.
But for him to say Egypt at the pyramids
will happen when the
Egyptian authorities literally said
that canceling the concert
due to a number of factors
is beyond
my comprehension.
After what happened at Astro World, you would think
that he would be a little bit more
reflective on that situation to be like, hey, maybe I need to hold back and let the authorities
handle the safety of a concert.
But no, Travis Scott came out and said, a concert at the Egyptian pyramids will happen.
And, you know, the wording of this is interesting because he honestly didn't say a concert.
He said Egypt at the pyramids will happen, which technically is a fact.
I mean, Egypt's going to keep continuing to be at the pyramids, you know?
Like, technically he's not lying.
But, you know, rappers are professional liars.
They play with words for a living.
So I think he honestly knows what he's doing.
This concert is not going to happen at all.
Live Nation came out and said it.
The actual people in Egypt said it wasn't going to happen a while ago.
They kept denying it, denying it.
But now we have officially got to the point where Utopia seems like is legit going to happen.
But Travis Scott released three alternative album covers for Utopia.
And basically, these are the album covers on the screen right now that he has released.
So there's three Utopia covers.
I don't know which one he's going to use.
I don't know if he's sending this up for some type of merch reveal or vinyl bundles with different album covers on it.
But for right now, it seems like this one right here with the man holding the money.
in the car, I think that this one is going to be the main cover for Utopia.
But maybe that would be false, but for right now, it seems like that's the case.
All you need to know if you're a huge Travis Scott fan is that Utopia is definitely happening.
A movie accompanying it is definitely happening titled Circus Maximus, and it's going to be
at Select AMC Movie Theater.
Now, I don't know why it's at AMC.
I don't know if it's just regular movie theaters or a select.
movie theaters, but it specifically said, AMC theaters.
So with this coming out along with the album, I believe this will by far be the
highest selling album of 2023.
Like I just said, Travis Scott AstorWorld came out 2018.
I don't think the hype for Utopia is as big as AstroWorld, but I do think with
the return of Bundles, which if you remember, Bundles was back in AstroW, uh,
back in the time Astorold released, which is why Travis Scott and Nicky Menage is currently
beefing because of that whole verses they had back in the day.
Because if you don't remember, Nikki Minaj released Queen, I believe, and she was trying
to get that number one first week.
But Asteroor ended up getting first week sales, and it beat it out by a pretty large margin.
But of course, like Nikki pointed out, he sold a bunch of bundles and stuff along with
it.
And I think that's a tell-tale sign of don't help don't hate the player, hate the game,
because in general, any artist could do exactly what Travis Scott did.
Nikki Minaj just decided to do it at a time where it wasn't actually counting it.
She did it like a week or two before her album when you have to do it like months in advance.
But anyways, that's besides a point.
AstroWorld sold $537,000 first week copies.
I don't think Utopia will surprise that.
but with the anticipation of this album, with the long hiatus, I may be wrong.
And if I'm wrong, I do see this album doing around 700,000 first week.
But if what I'm thinking about the whole perception of Travis Scott is real,
if people actually do still care about the Asteroil situation like I personally do,
I believe that this album will sell around 300 to 400,000 first week.
which is still phenomenal numbers.
But of course, for Travis Scott fans out there,
they're probably like, what?
Utopia's selling way more than that.
So we will have to wait to see.
I gave you two predictions.
I think the 700,000 one is a possibility.
And then the 300, the 400 one is what I'm actually predicting.
But we have to wait and see,
as this whole rollout to Utopia has been,
despite the controversy,
It's been phenomenal.
The marketing strategy implemented by Travis Scott and his team have been A1.
Beyond what I could possibly imagine for a hip-hop rollout as is very Kanye-esque the way he goes about promoting his albums.
As far as the uniqueness, the artistic perception of it, and just how people are receiving this rollout seems to be A1, top tier, way better than any rollout I've seen.
and I would probably say way better than the
little Uzi Virt Pink Rollout
and he had like a whole anime type trailer for his album
so anyways I'm not going to spend too much time on this
really wanted to focus on the fact
that the album is happening
the movie is happening
the performance at the Pyramids of Giza
was canceled
which
has Russ remaining
as the only hip-hop artist
to ever perform at the Pyramers of Giza,
which he definitely doesn't hesitate to remind his fans,
which, you know, more power to him
because I definitely would to as well.
So anyways, click my link to in my bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about Travis Scott
and his reaction to the cancellation of the pyramids of Giza,
thinking, saying that it's still going to happen?
And also, as a Travis Scott fan,
how much do you think Travis Scott will sell first?
week or if you're not into the numbers, if you're just in for the love of the music,
do you think that this would be one of his best albums that he's ever made?
