Getting into Tucker Wetmore as his album Waves on the Sunset came out in October, I believe,
and then the single for this album came out in September 13th to be specific.
But the reason why we're covering him today is for the simple fact that wind up missing you is the 40th most played track in the world currently.
And technically it's been on the charts for about 33 weeks.
Now, as far as Tucker Wetmore, it's very interesting when it comes to his distribution process,
because when you go to his album and as far as the credits, it says Tucker Wetmore slash backblocks music.
Now, what in the world does that mean?
I've never seen that before.
But if you didn't know, this man is from Nashville.
So talk about my latest episode, Shameless Plug, Episode 143, which is titled, From Nashville's to the Grammys,
for the simple fact that Beyonce leads the entire nominations with 11.
And then, of course, you have Post Malone tying Sabrina, Taylor Swift, and all the others
with their respective country albums.
And then, of course, what I think is the fan favorite, which should be the fan favorite,
to win some of the top country awards, a bar song by Shibuzzi is one of the top nominated tracks
as far as country and best country performance and things of that nature.
So, of course, that's why the episode is titled from Nashville to the Grammys.
But obviously with Tucker, which he originally was from Kalama, Washington.
Hopefully I said that right.
And he relocated to Nashville in 2020 after a career-ending injury in college football.
Don't you love when you're able to pivot.
from something that you used to do on a daily basis and still have the same amount of success
and a whole other venture, right? So shout out to Tucker for being versatile and just his talent,
right? So anyways, with that being said, him going to Nashville definitely helped him
cultivate a fan base, especially with the way he was putting out music as in January 2023,
sign an exclusive publishing deal and artist development deal with back blocks music,
which is why you see that locate, well, not located, why you see that as the, um,
publisher and the distributor of his music because he signed them back in January,
2023. And of course, with this, uh, back blocks music distributor, they are known
for finding Nashville based talent. It, well, no, no, no, it's a national.
Nashville based label known for nurturing new talent, just like any music label.
I thought they was out of Nashville.
But actually, they are out of Nashville.
Just disregard what I just said.
So with that being said, Tucker took that co-sign as far as BackBlock's music.
Followed that up with his single Silverado Blue that came out September 13, 2024.
Followed that single up with his album, Waves on the Sunset, that came out October 4th,
24 about eight tracks 22 minutes and length and then obviously in today's age in november
24 you kind of see that wind up missing you is by far the most successful track off of that album as he did
also have a lot of success uh success with wine into whiskey which i ain't a lot to you that's a fire
title you know definitely could relate to that one wine into whiskey right so with that i think
He cultivated his fan base throughout those singles, throughout his project,
and now he's basically holding on to the,
I'm not like holding on like he's almost off,
because as far as the projections for November 30th, it's considered,
for Billboard Hot 100.
He is projected to slide just a little bit,
but he's still set to have the 48th most played track in the world
with wind up missing you.
So with that being said,
obviously there's a lot of people tuning in time and time again
to listen to the specific track, but also to the album and also to his overall live performance
and his ability to perform live as he just announced his Tucker Wetmore Waves on the sunset tour
for 2025 that starts March, that starts March 8th in Berlin.
And obviously you can see the dates right here, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But basically when you look at Tucker,
Walker Wetmore and you look at his rise of success and obviously his ability to keep grinding
even after, you know, some obstacles in his way as far as with the athletic career, you realize
that sometimes your actual true purpose has to be realized with daily persistence.
You know what I'm saying?
Like as far as understanding what you are meant for in life comes with consistency
rather than trying to get it all in one Hail Mary
just to tie back into his football career.
So anyways, when he actually put this out,
as far as the track, it debuted at number 89.
So it was definitely a slow burner for most of his tracks,
but ended up rising on the charts.
And of course, with his release of Windham Missing You,
it debuted at number four on iTunes,
as far as all the charts being considered,
only trailing Beyonce's release that week.
Dang, I did not know he released at the same time as Beyonce.
I just thought everybody got out the way for Beyonce.
I mean, putting out music at the same time
that Beyonce puts on music is definitely a leap of faith
if I've ever heard one.
So anyways, obviously TikTok,
one of the main marketing tools used
to get his track.
off of the ground as 100,000
TikTok user generated
videos featuring his song
Wind Up Missing You, definitely
amplifying the overall
popularity. And of course,
with his track, is written by Tucker
Wetmore,
Thomas Archer,
and Chris LaCorte.
And it's also
produced by Chris LaCorte.
So, as
far as his
circle, I'm pretty sure he should keep them
around as it seems like they're actually helping when it comes to the overall quality level and not
taking away his focus from his main mission. So with the rise of Wetmore's career, obviously if you
want to go see him on tour is right here on the screen. Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the
video along with the audio. And then also, I may start putting these on YouTube, so definitely follow
