After calling her a one hit wonder with her water remix with Travis Scott, I had to rethink my sentiments because let me tell y'all something.
Truth or Dare by Tyler is straight fire.
Like, I'm not even hyping this up when I'm saying this is 10 times better than the water track.
I know somebody out there is going to be like, what?
That's crazy.
That's an asinon statement.
I can't believe you let that come out of your mouth will.
Let me just let you know that at the end of the day, everybody has opinions.
and for truth of dear, mine is just that is way better than the water track.
Like, honestly, it's like the chorus and then that's it.
Like, that's what she loses me.
I'm like, it's just the chorus is good about that song.
But it's whatever, it's whatever.
It's okay.
So basically, water reached top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 before Mr.
Jack Quees hopped on the track himself, aka Travis Scott.
And as far as following that up with her own single, I think that's brilliant as technically
when I called her a one hit wonder
I'm talking sales wise
and statistically
it being such a big track
for your debut and you put a remix on it
I would have preferred her put out
this track and then had a remix for Truth of Dare
kind of how Ice Price did
where she blew up with much I believe
but then when she came out with her EP
the hottest track on that one
which was ice
no which was princess diana she put niki minage on that remix so kind of how she wrote that out i would
have preferred tyler to go in that direction because you don't want to block boy j b effect where you
get such a huge artist on your debut breakout smash hit and then everybody's like oh that's the girl
that Travis did that one feature for on that one song that sounded like you know i'm not gonna say it
but y'all know what that chorus sounds like.
And now she's back again to showcase that it's not just a fluke.
It's not a one-hit wonder.
She's back again with a highly high level of quality in this track titled Truth or Dera
that's out now on all DSPs.
But the thing about this is she actually has a debut album out called Tyler,
but I really wanted to focus on this is that this is the track that they're using to promote
on the new music for all the playlists and on DSPs.
So I kind of wanted to touch on that and also get into kind of how music works in general.
She has water on here twice because it's the original water.
There's water remix.
And then there's three other tracks and one of them is Truth or Dare.
So the other two are butterflies and on and on.
But basically, she's under Epic Records.
And for them to say this is her debut album, because on her Instagram, it says pre-save.
So I don't think her album is out.
I think she just packaged it in a way that technically now it looks like it looks more of a short EP.
Because if you don't know, an EP is anything under 35 minutes.
And this package that they put these songs in is 15 minutes.
So I don't know why they did that, but maybe to run up the sales, obviously to run up the sales.
But it's just still weird to me.
So what else?
That's basically it.
I don't think Tyler's going to be a one-hit wonder.
But we'll see how her fan base reacts to it.
and also how the overall R&B and hip-hop field gravitates to this track
compared to how they obviously gravitated towards water and especially the remixes with
Travis Scott and then there was another one with marshmallow so yeah click my link
to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about Tyler putting out
another track titled truth or dare and do you think is better than water or
know.
