You know, serious question.
Everybody wants success when it comes to putting out music.
Somebody wants recognition if they put out music on DSPs,
or else they wouldn't put out on platforms where the masses could consume it.
So would you rather have a number one hit,
but it only lasts on the charts for two to four weeks,
simply off a hype?
Or would you rather have a longevity type of track that stays on the number one?
the charts and not even the charts say it's in the top 20 for at least 24 weeks because that is
exactly what Tyler has accomplished with her track water I think at this point you can probably
summarize that water is one of the more impactful tracks as far as the past two years is
accounted because well when the past two years is accounted for because recency bias is a real
thing in the way that water has been able to stay on the tracks for 24 weeks, which is a long time
I might add. And I even stay on the charts, but not even slide. It's like been in the top 20 for a
pretty significant amount of time to the point where she received a remix from Travis Scott. But
with that all being said, this whole segment is based off of her album self-titled Tyler.
And it has collaborations with Kelvin, Momo, Gunna, Tim's, Skillabing, Becky G, and of course, with the remix of Water, Travis Scott.
Now, it's out now in all DSPs under Epic Records, and I'm not going to lie to you.
I think this album analytically is going to perform well, but even putting analytics to the side.
I think Tyler, just as a vocalist, is pretty superior when it's.
comes to putting her talent on display because I'm not even just talking about vocally I think the
whole personality going with the music especially like where she's from and having to
overcome obstacles and basically I say the overcoming obstacles part because she had an injury
which obviously led to her being or having to cancel her tour and
and Coachella performance.
So nobody knows what this worsening injury is.
One could guess,
but the whole overcoming an injury during your prime,
as far as the water track is considered,
I think it's very unfortunate,
but she's overcome that.
She's expressed her excitement about her album,
highlighting certain collaborations,
giving messages behind the music.
Her lead single water continues,
like I keep saying,
has success. So and also she's a Grammy Award winner for best African music performance going
back to why I said her personality and where she comes from contributing to overall success
because I just think the overall authenticity when it comes to her and how it comes across
in her interviews is something that a lot of people are gravitating towards. And so it's not
even just the music. It's also the person that they're starting to fall in love with.
So her track, I mean, her album, Tyler, which is self-titled,
I think analytically would have some success.
As far as the quality-wise, I mean, I'm definitely going to listen to the album.
That future Metro is definitely going to take priority,
but I'm definitely going to get around to her album.
And for the future, I would say Tyler needs a certain,
I don't know how to put this because I don't want to come off as a hater, but you don't want to be a one-hit wonder, right?
And the way that the water track is performing, it's going to be hard to even come close to that or even topic.
So hopefully, a lot of tracks off of this album has the same amount of success for water.
I mean, when the first week sales come out, it's going to be pretty obvious and transparent if water was the main sales driver or not.
because if people are only listening in the water instead of the whole body of work,
which is Tyler, then I think we might have an actual problem with the overall rollout.
But currently, it seems to be working.
Hopefully this album does well on the charts,
and I'll definitely be giving it a listen as, I mean,
all I had to see was Tim's, and I'm definitely listening to that track.
I already know it has to be fire.
So, anyways, click my link to you in my bio.
