Now, at the end of the day, when a man can name a track called Dog Tooth and still generate the type of revenue that Tyler the Creator generates, the man, he is winning in life.
Because let me tell you something.
If I hear a track called Dog Tooth, I'm going to think it's something else that's dog.
And it's not tooth.
It's dog something else.
And let's just say that this is a PG podcast.
So I'm not going to finish what that word entails.
So anyways, Dog Tooth by Tyler the Creator is the first surprise drop from The Call Me If You Get Lost Deluxe Edition, which is why it's like on, I think it's probably the top of new music for Spotify.
You know, Spotify has his own playlist, which, you know, it's not a promo because, you know, if you watch, oh, this is a perfect opportunity.
Please watch a notorious mass effect versus Spotify to get the information on that beef.
but it's not really a beef
let's just say that
the playlist that they have
indie playlist curators
don't really get that same luxury
let's just put it like that
but I do get into detail on that
and I do have like a lot of facts
I get into so anyways
notorious mass effect versus Spotify
a really great listen on my ad
you know I may be a little biased
just a little bit so anyways
yeah for this being the first single
it was also released with a music video
directed by guess who
Tyler decreated himself.
And he really puts the creator in Tyler, don't he?
Because, I mean, when you do a lot of behind the scenes work on a track and especially the music video and you really don't talk about it, it's kind of like the opposite of Russ.
Like Russ would do everything on the track from making the microphone itself to making the track.
And he will tell you all about the process of how he himself did everything.
But Tyler declared it, he's kind of low key with it.
like sometimes he'll pop out and be like, oh, who made this beat? Wait, is me. But no, actually,
that's what Russ says. I think Tyler Decaturated said that one time, like, I made a fire beat,
something like that. Like, I've only heard him brag once about making like everything when it comes
of music. And obviously, that's the opposite of Russ, because he will let you know every time
that he puts out something that was completely made by him, which, you know, to each his own,
You know, they say that if you don't, what, touch your own horn, there's no music.
That's what they say.
Man, Russ took that to heart.
But Tyler, the creator, on the other hand, I think it's the opposite with him.
I don't really think he gets his just dude in the hip-hop field.
Because if you look at the tour, if you look at sales, he's up there with the big dogs like Drake.
You know, a lot of people like to say future, even myself.
But when it comes to touring, which is very specific, when it comes to putting people in seats for long,
large venues.
Talented creators up there with Drake
and I'm not going to say Taylor Swift.
That's a little disrespectful.
Who else is up there?
Nikki Minaj is one of those.
Kanye West.
Like he's up there with Little Uzi.
He's up there with like the
not like performers as far as like,
oh, they perform the greatest, but they bring
the most people out to their live shows.
And I know what you're probably saying.
I went to a future concert and it was packed.
Well, just because a venue was packed.
It doesn't mean that an arena or a stadium is packed.
Venue is different.
Like, venue is too broad.
I feel like to say, like you can pack out a venue and it only hold like 2,000 people maybe,
which is a lot.
But, of course, when you compare it to Tyler the Creator, Drake and 20, what's it, 15 to 20,000 to 20,000?
Now that's a little much.
10 to 15,000 is a little different.
You know what I mean?
When you're packing out those arenas, it's a little.
different. So anyways, um, click my link to your in my bio. Let me know one of my social
medias. What do you think about this whole deluxe edition from Tyler the creator? Do you think
it was needed and will you be giving it? Alyssa.
