i'm not going to lie having sexy red and little wayne on the track is interesting but then to realize
that gloverilla is also on the track i mean safe to say this is going to be one of the more pivotal
tracks that's going to be pushed by his marketing team which made me go all the way to the bottom
because of course you know i have to know who in the world is over this type of marketing strategy
so of course Columbia records the division of sony music entertainment has the exclusive license
for this album Chromacopia.
Now, one of the more pivotal release from Sony is when Travis Scott put out his 10-year-old
album as far as days of the rodeo.
Because if you don't know, Travis Scott and Sabrina Carpenter had one of the biggest
battles in music history with their 360 plus thousand respective weekly or first week sales.
So Travis Scott had around 131,000 first week.
Not 100.
It was 360 something.
I forget.
It was a lot.
So it was one of the biggest releases as far as 2024 is considered.
So for Tyler the Creator to also be under Sony and have this type of success is pivotal for the Sony camp to hang their hat on.
I mean, Travis Scott and now Tyler the Creator under your marketing umbrella.
I mean, that's a pretty big deal as far as the music landscape is considered.
I'm trying to look up the first week sales.
Okay, so basically days before the rodeo had 300, over 300,000 sales first week.
And the reason why I'm looking this up is because I know the debut of Sabrina Carpenter
was basically 1,000 higher than Travis Scott.
So I'll see if I can find it, but it's not popping up.
Only thing that's popping up is Utopia.
But the only thing you need to know is that Sabrina Carpenter came out on top
because, of course, she's under Universal Music Group,
which is unequivocally the big dogs in the music industry.
So whenever they're battling it out for that number one spot
and Travis Scott's days before the rodeo,
I believe had like 361,000 units first week.
But Sabrina Carpenter,
coincidentally had
362,000
first week sales.
So that is very interesting
because for the simple fact that
you already know that that was Universal
versus Sony
more so than
Sabrina versus Travis Scott because if
if it's decided by 600 units
best believe me
the major label could have easily bought over
600 units to become number one.
There's a lot more
let me say allegedly. It was a lot
more plays being done behind the scenes to even get to the number that they got to so 600 units was
not out of the question and it was probably a lot more they even was uh let's just say founded
coincidentally to get to that number so ultimately Sabrina carpenter came out with the number one
debut why am i saying that compared to Tyler the creator and of course his track specifically
sticky with glowrilla sexy red and little way
is because it's reported that chromocopia is set to have around 250 to 300,000 first week sales.
So that's insane.
I think, well, chromocopia is a crazy title to try to type out.
Anyways, having that type of projection, obviously going to be number one.
And little Uzi just dropped Eternal Take 2.
I believe that's what it was called.
But it's not going to surpass Tyler the Creators Chromacopia,
which is why I'm talking about sales in the first place.
The battle that Sabrina and Travis Scott have for number one
is not the battle that Tyler the creator and little Uzi is about to have.
Because when I was looking at the releases,
there's really nobody else that can compete with Uzi as far as first week sales.
So to him to come second to Tyler the Creator.
I mean, ultimately, I don't know if he knew that Tyler the Creator's chromocopy was coming out
at this point in time, but hey, because he did drop it on a Monday.
But ultimately, hey, he just,
lost out to one of the bigger dogs in the music music industry but i believe uzi's still going to sell a lot
so because when it comes to the 2024 uh hip-hop first week sales obviously you had travis scott
and then you had um i remember connier's album did a lot but then you had the death of slim shady
I believe that did a lot.
I'll see, what else?
Big Sean,
definitely not.
I'm not even trying to be funny.
Days before the rodeo
was probably the biggest first week,
well, no, it was the biggest by far.
And then you had Eminem,
the death of Slim Shady,
and you have Future in Metro.
We don't trust you.
And of course,
Caromacopia will probably fall in the line
of those top three.
So to come number two,
to one of the biggest debuts of 2024,
then you already know that little uzi can't be that upset because who in the world is going to sell more than 250 right now currently besides like a couple a handful of hip-hop artists so with that being said i wanted to touch on one of the tracks is getting it to that number as sticky red glovela and little way mind you insane but um it's definitely helping out a lot when it comes to chromocopias first week sales so when it comes to that click my link sure of my bio let me know on one of my social media is we'll
what do you think about chromocopia what is your favorite track on the album and do you think
that oozy can pull off the upset with his first week sales as far as eternal a take to
