The standout addition: “Mother,” a 2020-recorded track originally cut from the 2024 original Chromakopia—Tyler’s diary-like exploration of monogamy pressures, fatherhood fears, identity, and introspection. Debuting #1 on Billboard 200 with 299,500 first-week units (platinum-certified), Chromakopia held the top spot for 3 weeks, spawning Hot 100 hits “Noid” (#10), “St. Chroma” feat. Daniel Caesar (#7), and “Sticky” feat. GloRilla, Sexyy Red & Lil Wayne (#10). Tyler calls “Mother” the grounding piece, inspired by 2020 bike rides through Inglewood and maternal conversations redefining “home.” Post-release, he dropped ninth album Don’t Tap the Glass (July 2025, another #1) and debuts in Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme alongside Timothée Chalamet. Analytic Dreamz analyzes Tyler’s 15-year evolution from Bastard (2009) to career peak, global tour with Lil Yachty & Paris Texas, and creative restlessness. Chromakopia+ completes the narrative with emotional depth and experimental percussion.Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Starting point is 00:00:04 Chromacopia, home, the place where light comes from. During 2020, I spent a lot of time riding my bike through my old neighborhoods. Englewood, Hawthorne, South Bay, so many memories and feelings rushed back. So many sound bites from my mother, I replayed. You guys. So many questions arise. What is home? Is it a feeling?
Starting point is 00:00:43 I carry or a place? Convotes with my mother. I found out things that was opposite of what I've built, a narrative around. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going to know what? And ladies and gentlemen, that is what we're going to end it.
Starting point is 00:01:02 because I ain't gonna lie to you. This man wrote a whole soliloquy. So if you wanted to read that, definitely go to his IG specifically. I do have it up right now. Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But when it comes to Tyler the Creator and his most notorious mass effect as far as albums being considered, safe to say, objectively speaking, that is officially chromocopia as it had 300,000 in first week sales. And you know, he did double back with don't tap the glass.
Starting point is 00:01:35 That sold around 215,000 as far as first week. But as far as chromocopia, I think objectively speaking, we could probably say Tyler the Creator and his most mass appeal would have to be chromocopia. And the reason why I'm pausing is because I was looking at it up specifically to make sure, because I said around 300,000,
Starting point is 00:02:01 I want to get the extra number. So when you look at uh let me see try to see where is it at okay so chromocopia as far as first week sales it was around 300 000 i want to get the like actual number i don't know if i can find the actual number though oh here we go it was 299 000 one the cardi b that's not how i work uh anyways it was basically 300 000 so his most popular album is out now and it's been out for quite some time right it came out october 28th 2024 so now this man then double back and put out chromocopia plus
Starting point is 00:02:38 October 29th and when no chromocopia plus why does I still say 2024 am I tripper let me go to the mother track when did mother come out because mother didn't come out to not too long ago
Starting point is 00:02:54 I'm not going to lie if you go to a DSP and it doesn't show the mother track at the top of it that that's that's a problem who's this marketing team because it literally didn't pop up when I typed it in I could keep saying 2024. We are definitely in 2025.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I don't know why it says 2024. I think the track Mother specifically, that's what I was looking for the release date on. But yeah, that's weird. I don't know how they're able to backtrack or backdate albums like that when we already know that Mother wasn't a part of the 2024 rollout.
Starting point is 00:03:25 So anyways, basically what I'm saying is Mother is out now and it essentially came out October 28th, I believe, as far as, no, not 20th. No, it came October 28th, 2025. And I swear to you, I'm not making this up at all. If you go to his album,
Starting point is 00:03:46 this man has one of the, it must have one of the worst DSP marketing teams ever. Because you go to Chromacopia, it literally says 2024. I thought I was tripping. I was like, hold up now. Can I not read? It's actually kind of crazy,
Starting point is 00:04:00 because who in the world costs on that? oh who in the world uh green lit that and of course analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio because that completely threw me off because i got i literally have to screenshot to show you all because y'all going to think i'm making it up here we go so chromocopia plus as you can see right there i know it's supposed to be an addition to the album but if you if you release it in 2025 it's just say 2025 and safe to say as you can see right here ladies and gentlemen what does that say what in the world you guys see that's the problem so somehow Tyler, the creator, jumped in the time machine and he released Chromacopia Plus in the addition of the mother track in 2024.
Starting point is 00:04:42 How did that happen? The world may never know. I know that ain't who I think it is. So all jokes aside, mother just came out not too long ago and when it comes to Mother joining Chromacopia his best selling album ever out the gate, it was originally recorded in 2020 intended to be the first track of Chromacopia but was cut from the five. final version. There's not a lot I have to say about Tyler the Creator. I always say and give him all the kudos in the world to the point where I do believe when it comes to his status in hip hop, it's very under, very underestimated and a lot of people don't really put the respect on Tyler that creator's name as far as impact. His current most popular track is sugar on my tongue with just the 51st most played track in the world and has been on our
Starting point is 00:05:31 charts for about 14 weeks so when it comes to Taladay creator specifically talking about mother and talking about how it was the first song he made for the album he also said inspiration came from bike rise through inglewood hotthorn and south bay and it's probably you know the rest of it's in this long soliloquy on his IG but the main thing i was wanting to get at was him talking about how the song is the evolving perception of home and he basically already read it out as far as is it a feeling i carry or a place with my mother i found out things that were opposite of what i've built a narrative around and he he tied this track to also talking about um the childhood photo of himself and his mother and of course when you come to the overall objective stature of chromocopia there's a platinum plaque photo for chromocopia
Starting point is 00:06:21 torres snapshots with loyadi and paris texas who is that i don't know who that is and a studio clip featuring thunder cat so the main thing talented the creator was wanting to get across to the masses when putting out the track mother was saying quote I approached it more like a diary you guys and the themes explored pressure of monogamy fear of fatherhood feelings about his hair and identity sexual freedom and self-judgment paranoia and introspection and Tyler emphasized it wasn't meant to be overly heavy saying quote nothing too deep or crazy just thoughts that stay on loop you guys isn't that nice anyways um i think when it comes to the album trying to be uh you know try to be uh mature you know what
Starting point is 00:07:22 when it comes to the album the main thing you need know about tall of the crit is he's a phenomenal artist uh kormacopia was his best selling album i think the main thing when it comes to mother is literally just an addition of karmakopole. which is why he put chromocopia plus and it's really nothing else to get into I mean as far as the the landscape of hip hop Tyler the creator is one of the artists trying to fight for the market share for hip hop so I like that as far as his most popular track being the 51st most play track in the world because currently young boy has the best the best performing hip hop track as far as his track shot Colin that's the 43 most play track in the world and I think it's because of his tour Tyler the creator just got off of a tour.
Starting point is 00:08:05 And when it comes to him also being in a film, I believe, Timothy Shelman, I think it's upcoming. It's called like Marty Supreme. It's his first acting role, I believe. So he's definitely doing a lot of things in his career that could take him away from music, but he still doubled back and gave us Don't Tap the Glass, which sold around $215,000 first week. So people are still clamoring for his music.
Starting point is 00:08:29 It does seem like he's going to take an elongated. break or elongated break and when it comes to Tyler the Creator fans maybe you just have to see him either a Marty uh the Marty McFly movie or you had to catch him live as I think he just finished wrapping up his tour so if he was wanting to catch him you know if he was wanting to catch him live you know what I'm saying if you just want to catch him live oh need you too bad so um when it comes to that that's basically so Tyler the Creator Chormacopia Plus is out now basically the only addition is to track mother but it's not only it's not only like in a bad way it's very much a pivotal ending to chromocopia which is objectively speaking his best selling album ever
Starting point is 00:09:15 out the gate so that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about talented creator chromocopia plus with the addition of the single track mother and what stood out to you the most when listening to the track mother by talla the creator Thank you.
