Starting point is 00:00:03 Now getting back into the Italian rap scene because when it comes to a genre expanding upon where it was founded and other people from other countries taking in and running with it and making it their own, I'm all for it as when it comes to Ultimo making this rap influence track as far as Bella DeVero. We all know when it comes to rapping in the sport of hip hop. There's certain things that has to be implemented for it to be considered a rap track. It's safe to say that Otimo definitely did his research as far as an artist becoming a rapper from other influences outside of his country. Right. So when it comes to Bella DeViro, it's the latest track from Otimo, came out today. And with that being said, his genre is usually putting out, well, no, he's usually putting out music in the pop genre. with rap acoustic influences.

Starting point is 00:01:05 So with that being said, him being in the Italian rap scene is very interesting as not only did he end up having an album go five-time platinum in one year, but it's the first time ever for an Italian project. So safe to say that Otimo is out here breaking the boundaries and also surpassing other musicians in Italy as far as showcasing the heights of where Italian music can go. So with that being said, he had multiple sold out stadium tours, which I always like to point out if you want to know your effect on the masses, then try to sell out a venue. Try to get your supporters to come out and support you and to listen to you and watch you,

Starting point is 00:01:57 perform your craft and see if it sells out because that can't be bought it. That influence cannot be manufactured as far as people showing up to watch you perform. I'm not talking about a festival where you can videotape the whole crowd, but their whole crowd was probably there for Playboy Cardi. I'm not talking about that type of scenario. I'm talking about actually having a solo show, only you perform it, and seeing if it sells out based on your fan base. And of course, Otimo has done that multiple times where he,

Starting point is 00:02:32 sold out stadium he sold out stadium tours so that being said the bella de verro track came out may 17 24 under otimo records slash belief so not only is he making these monumental achievements as far as uh basically carving out the way and being a pathfinder for other italian rappers to follow suit as far as to see what works in the commercial field as far as having a commercialized success when you came from Rome, Italy. Because some people may think it's not even possible coming from that particular area until they see Otimo doing it bigger than ever and has ever been done from that specific place as far as Rome, Italy. So that being said, he has been phenomenal on the charts as far as the F-I-Single chart,

Starting point is 00:03:26 which is basically in Italy. He debuted number six the week of May 23rd, 24 he had a peak of number four he had a number four peak and a third week and the duration he had in Italy's charts he was top 20 for 12 weeks straight now of course with that being said we all know that when it comes to the regional breakdown 50% of Spotify streams come from Lazio Rome and Lombardi Milan so when it comes to his demographics we can already assume why those two locations would be what it is, especially with him being from Rome, Italy. It's always great to have hometown support before you branch out because, of course, home is where you lay your head. So if you at home and you're not welcome,

Starting point is 00:04:19 what makes you think you'll have the foundation to break out to the world, right? Some people look at it as an opposite, or some people look at it the opposite way as far as in captivate the masses, then you capture home. Sometimes having that home support and that authentic support from people in your hometown helps you to affect the masses on a grand scale. So that being said, the track from Otimo as far as Bella DeVaro also showed up on Spotify's pop Italiano and also it popped up on Apple Music's Italian pop because now whenever you have even if it's a rap track, if it's going crazy, on the charts and more specifically in captivating the masses, now people are going to start to step in to try to increase analytics to the point where they saw putting you in the playlist

Starting point is 00:05:13 and things are like that. It's that imaginary button that everybody talks about in the music industry as far as your music, getting seen by the right person and now that person is putting you on all type of pivotal playlist to uplift your engagement and your overall the engagement and the amount of eyes that's on your track as Spotify's pop Italiano playlist and Apple Music Italian pop has accounted for an estimate of 25% of Otimo's total stream. So that's what I'm saying as far as I'm pressing that imaginary button that's basically them just putting you on popular playlist, give you radio play and things of that nature.

Starting point is 00:05:57 Because of course with you being from Italy and less than temporary, of your streams coming from Italy is very important that you try to tap those type of markets around your hometown because they are the majority as far as your supporting fan base. So with that being said, there's an upcoming album, I believe, from Otimo. And when it comes to his live debut, he is confirmed to perform at Stadi in 2025, law 5. Veloa Continuator kicking off June 29th at Stadio Tech Hill Lagano Sabiodoro. Hopefully I'm not butchering those names too much but that's where he's going to be June night. Starting point is 00:06:50 This man has turned into the Riddler himself or his marketing team has as they've put out a teaser photo that may hint at a 2026 fan event in Rome, potentially at Parco di Cento Selly in the 120 hectare area.
