In light of Usher releasing a new single titled Good Good, literally that's the title's called Good Good, with Summer Walker and 21 Savage, I thought it would be nice to take a little stroll down memory lane and just appreciate the greatness of Usher Raymond. Now, of course, we all know that there's a plethora of things that he may have lit on fire himself, but as far as far as. as musically, he's definitely been on fire burning, I might add, as first week sales has been through the roof for Raymond. And when I say through the roof, I mean, I don't know why. Today is the first day. That doesn't make sense. Today is when I officially realize August 4th, 2003 that Usher Raymond sold one basically 1.1 million copies first week with confessions that dropped in 2004. Do y'all know how insane a million copies it like that? Taylor's, I don't think Taylor Swift has ever passed a million. Let me see. Honestly, like, that's the person I will compare because Taylor Swift,

Let's see. I don't know why I just figured this out, but I mean, obviously Confessions is a classic, right? But I don't think we ever go back and see the first week sales of just some of the classic albums that came out because, of course, Elmatic didn't sell a lot in the first week sales. I just thought all iconic albums just maybe didn't sell first week. But no, Confessions won basically 1.1 million first week. I will compare it to Drake, but I think the most Drake ever did first week sales was around seven something with views.

I don't think he's ever even got close to a million. So that's why I have to go to Taylor Swift. Okay. Yeah, she's just Nah, Taylor Swift is different. That's just, all right, never mind. Taylor Swift, like there, 1.8 million, 1.5 million multiple times. Yeah, she's just different. Okay, let's just go back to Usher.

So putting the spotlight back on Usher. And definitely well respected in the musical landscape, but kind of had a gnaz-like outing, and I'm not trying to pick on Nas, but with Nas, honestly, I blame his fans. What y'all, Nause fans allowed that man to sell with Magic 2, basically selling 16,000 first week?

Let me tell y'all some. Y'all are going to stop disrespecting the iconic rappers in this game and showed him just a little bit more respect. Just a little bit more respect. Like, he ain't got to sell 80. 7 or 70, 60, but at least get him into the 40 range. Like 16,000, I felt like I attributed to all those sales, but that's what's the point.

So anyways, Usher Raymond had that type of outing with his last album in 2018 titled A. I mean, it's not really the most creative title in the world, but there you have it. So he put out an album title A, sold 15,000 first week. So, yeah, that's pretty bad. but because of his longevity in the game he's still able to tour and definitely still charge that premium price because come on now who is performing like usher i mean if you're not chris brown who's we don't know what type of you know substance he's taken but as far as usher raymond he is the most clean-cut PR certified musician that we've ever had throughout his his entire career. I mean, even Jay-Z, Hove himself, got caught up in allegations with Beyonce having to get hands, feet, and elbows put on him by Solange, aka Beyonce's sister. So throughout Usher putting out music since the early 90s to the 2023, early 90s to 2023, we haven't had

one scandal other than the one I alluded to when I say he was setting something. on fire but we just gonna keep we just gonna keep keep keep it on his personal character and the public perception this man has had has had a squeaky queen i can't talk my fault y'all i can't talk you know i mean give me one second this man has had a squeaky clean image from day one yeah i just don't understand how he's done it because i didn't see all these people act out when it was at an usher raiment concert. So honestly, the way that I wanted to take that sentence is in a way that would have been very interesting because I'm just going to say it.

Basically, I could see how he could set the world on fire, sort of like how, you know, Magic Johnson maybe had a little, you know what I mean, had a little trouble keeping it to himself. I could see how Usher may have had trouble keeping it to himself as. every single loved one that you could imagine you think she the you think she's solid as a rock take her to a usher concert and let me tell you it ain't going to end up like you think it's going like it's just it's just going to be a whole party for usher and whoever your significant other is because let me tell you like i just i've never seen anything like it this man is getting decade-long relationships in trouble

because they're acting out. So, yeah, man, if your girl goes to an usher concert kind of reminds me that track off of Drake's views when it's like, if your girl is like front row or at the season opener of a basketball game, just know she messing with somebody on their team, not going to lie, if your girl go to an usher concert, and if he starts singing to her,

it may be game over, man. Maybe game over. But in current news, where I really wanted to get to is Usher currently has a new single out titled Good Good with Summer Walker and 21 Savage. Now, 21 Savage being on this track already made me realize it was good. And that type of effect needs to be applauded because I used to call this man savagely mid and even I have came over to the dark side of enjoying the way he talks about. about just the plethora of ways he just doesn't abide by the law.
