Now getting back into the K-pop field because, of course, you already know that they've been running the charts to such a point where now I think they have a significant hand in hip-hop not being as dominant in today's age. Because when you get into K-pop, when you get into Afro beats, when you get into Latin music, all of those being more appealing or more engaging to the masses, over time has been cutting into the overall dominance of hip hop and of course that's okay because at the end of day technology is for just trying to get access to things that you normally wouldn't have so with this k-pop movement and especially the humongous bt s movement which at this point you can put bt s up there with any band group in the world and they probably outperform them statistically 10fold. So who am I talking about? Of course, for this particular segment, we're getting into the specific member V of BTS with his new track titled Friends. Now, for those who don't know,

the reason why BTS members have been coming out individually to put out tracks is because BTS had to comply with mandatory military duty. So now that one of their members, which V is back from military duty. He's put out this track. He's put out this track titled Friends. And it's a pop soul track entirely sung in English. So you got to love the simulation. You know what I mean? Like sometimes you got to assimilate in life and that will lead to more monetary gain. Anyways, depicting a big collaboration, not depicting, uh, hinting at a, the big collaboration was major label, not major label, major laser,

which came out during the interview and basically said that there may be a remix with BTSV in the mix, which if you don't know, a lot of musicians will put out a single, and if that single's doing well, they'll put out 30 different versions. Well, maybe not 30, but you get the point. A lot of different versions of that hit track, so they'll get more streams on DSS. P's.

So for V, hopefully this track Friends is actually successful, which I have no doubt it will be. Like, the way that BTS members run up the charts individually made me believe that the hype was real. Like first with BTS is like, okay, y'all are a group, you know, people are tuning in, but will they still tune in if he was individually putting out music? And now each one from John Cook to V. there's sugar um j hope literally had a track with j cole like j hope had a track with j cole and he's not even the biggest one off of bt s like these individually they put up numbers and as a group they put up numbers so that makes you realize that bt s hype is actually pretty legitimate and cemented for life like it's one of those where bt s literally one of the biggest

musician music groups to ever form. It's like Voltron almost. So anyways before his mandatory military service, V also hinted that new music.

Some of the biggest things you need to know about BTS NV is that with all of his other label mates being you know, subject to mandatory military service is going to be kind of hard for actual track with every every member on it because each member gets off a military service like are different times so for v obviously he's out and he's active but i think that when the other members come that's probably

one's going to pick back up because one of the things that let me know with the humongous artist of this status is I have to compare it to a Taylor Swift, which, you know, coming off the year that Taylor Swift just had, comparing any artist to her is just blasphemy. But I have to do it for this like specific point. So Taylor Swift had the issue with her royalties and masters with school to brawn. So basically she waited, waited till she was able to buy her royalties back or whatever,

the masses to basically make music off of her reworking the tracks so now she got her rights back waited all this time now she's putting out albums from the past but she redid them and put them out as taylor's version and guess what so way more than their original album sold so basically the comparison i'm making to bt s is that bts are going to come back from the mandatory military service And their first track, first album, they put out as a group, even though all that time was spent not putting out album, not putting out music as a group, it's still going to culminate into actual sales

and impacting the masses because people are still going to be waiting and clamoring for new BTS music. Like, no matter how much time passes, BTS has put up enough numbers as a group individually to take away all, to take all the time they need to themselves to make this body of work when they eventually all come back from military service. So basically, I say, K-pop fans are always going to wait for BTS music.

They're always going to impact the charts. They're going to be up there as far as competing with American artists because I think trending right now is the Friends track. And it would probably be top five, top 10 if I was to guess, because overall, I think friends and the machine behind it will inevitably put it in a light that not too many artists can compete with, which is why last year went the way it did, whereas you have Jack Harlow hopping on the wave. You had Lotto with seven hopping on the wave. Let me see if I can find that. Which Lotto, seven.

Yeah, so Junk Cook, not even V. a whole other member. John Cook had everybody hopping on his wave. Another individual member from BTS. You had Lotto. You had Jack Harlow. I mean, even Neo tried to hop on the wave. Like, where he come from?

Oh, it wasn't Neo. It was Usher. It wasn't Usher headline the Super Bowl? Like, I ain't going to lie. The way that BTS puts up numbers, you'd be shocked at the way these other artists act to try to get a track with them. and then you had Justin Timberlake back in November 24th hopping on the 3D

with Justin Timberlake remix like come on now like BTS is just a whole other animal when it comes to putting up numbers on the charts and just having longevity so now that John Cook had his run all the way back in you know well last year not even that long ago V which is another member of BTS is back again to put up numbers himself and showcase why BTS is just one of the greatest pop groups ever created.
