The time for V to shine is finally here as he's released his first ever solo album titled Layover, along with the music video for the title track, Slow Dancing. Now, I've always praised BTS for the ways of choreography and dancing along with the performance of the music. I feel like that's a talent that's not seen perform, executed often in the hip-hop space. Now, before y'all come and try to name all the OGs like Neo, Usher, and Chris Brown, those guys are not hip-hop. Those guys are like singers and hip-hop's a little different. So when I'm talking about hip-hop, I mean the Jay-Zs, the 50-cent, the Nause, the Nause,

the jerks of the world. They ain't out here coming out in a boys to men type formation and dancing along with their backup dances. I think the first time we saw that was when Offsid from the Migos did a performance with BET and everybody went crazy like he was the second coming to Michael Jackson. So excuse me for enjoying a group of musicians who actually puts effort, immense effort,

into their choreography so that being said of course v is one of the members of bt s and if you don't know by now who bt s is then hey i can't save you just know you missed the boat and i don't think you ever be at the catch up it's like now i'm just playing so basically bt s in general is a k-pop group biggest k-pop group ever and it consists of a lot of members i don't know all the artists off the top of my head I don't know there's Jimmin. There's, of course, it's V who are covering right now. There's Jay Hope. And I think there's like seven members.

And I'm doing this off the memory. I've covered them for a minute, but I still don't remember who all the members are. So let me see. BTS members, because it's Jay Hope. That's the one that Jay Cole did a track with, which, you know, that man was trying to you want to talk about culture vulture man j cole was on a whole not level with that one but anyways so there's rm well okay so there's seven members of bt s right there's there's r m there's jane there's sugar jhope jimmin v junk cook oh that's it okay so

right now currently uh certain members from bt s is not out because they have to do mandatory Korean military service. I believe that's how it works. So it's like if you was in the United States and there was a certain age that was the cap for if you had to join the military and give a certain amount of service before a certain age, that's how Korea is set up or South Korea or how, you know, I'm not the best with the geography and stuff. So basically there's mandatory military service and certain BTS members had to complete that before they turned

to certain age. So some of them are still out on that whole mandatory hiatus for the military. So they should be back soon, but they're not back currently. Which is why you're seeing stuff like this with the member from BTS called V releasing his first ever solo album, because a lot of them are branching out,

putting out their own music at solo acts, but then they'll all come back together whenever every BTS member is back for mandatory military service. So what else? Layover, which is the album that V just put out, includes a total of five tracks.

Those rainy days, blue, love me again, slow dancing. See, I'll pull this up, slow dancing for us, and then just the piano version of slow dancing. So technically the six, but it's just another edition, rendition, remix of remaster,

of slow dancing. So basically it's just five tracks, but the six one is just a remaster of slow dancing. So yeah, that's basically it. BTS, like I said, is currently on hiatus because the group as a whole is currently on hold because all the members aren't available. Some, like I was saying,

is doing mandatory military service. So as these other artists pursue their solo debuts or debuts, I feel like the actual fan base is supporting each and every. which is a nice sight to see for when they eventually come back together for BTS. But on the side note, side tangent, John Cook, one of the members of BTS, of course, is set to headline the Global Citizen Festival along with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lauren Hill.
