Starting point is 00:00:00 Slight little recap of BTS because as y'all know, I definitely call them the Korean Beatles because at this time, at this point in time, BTS is probably one of the most successful groups of all time. And I'm not even joking. Like the way that BTS runs up the numbers on a consistent basis, putting it up against other groups is really not comparable as. I'm not going to say they started the whole K-pop movement, but when people think of K-pop and think of the most successful artist, the first name that comes up is definitely BTS. So I just wanted to give a little recap of what all the members are up to currently as, you know, some people may not be aware, but a lot of these different members of BTS are
Starting point is 00:00:48 currently serving mandatory military time for the South Korean Army. So that's what I wanted to get into. So Jen from BTS is currently serving. mandatory military time and he's supposed to be to charge sometime in 2024 december uh sugar or sugar uh bro i don't know it's s uGA so it's like sugar uh hey i don't know but basically that man is on tour right now and he's performing all around the world of course and just living his best life so so that's what sugar's doing uh j hope from bt s has released his debut solo album called jack in the box and he also had He was the first Korean artist
Starting point is 00:01:33 The headline a main stage at a major American music festival So I would say personally I think Jay Hope is the most popular out of BTS But that's just me I don't want the BTS Army to come after me That's what they label themselves Army by the way But anyways
Starting point is 00:01:50 Let's get into RM from BTS He's currently working on his solo album And then we have Jimin Who's working on his solo album and we have v who currently just put out this track which we're about to get into and then junk cook who's also working on his solo music so of course while all of these all of these solo members are free except for one it still doesn't make them bt s so once jen gets out at the end of 24 december then they'll probably form back up again to create bt s or if these solo careers are popping off then
Starting point is 00:02:29 And I'm pretty sure that the label that BTS is under wouldn't mind having multiple streams of revenue from various artists compared to just one stream, one big stream of revenue from a group. Because if you don't, I mean, obviously it should make sense. Like if you're in a group, you have to split the revenue from the album. There's only one album. If you're putting it out as a group, independently, if you're all selling kind of respectable on your own, then that can end up in the long run, making you or generating more of a group. because now you can spread out the releases instead of the whole group only being able to drop one album anyways so all these people don't hate each other they're just doing our own own thing right now until jinn gets back and they are planning to release new music in 2025 so that's like a year
Starting point is 00:03:18 after jen gets back so whenever he gets back from serving his mandatory military service time mandatory military time he's gonna get right back into the studio with the rest of the group and they're gonna put out new music in 2025 and with them pursuing the individual goals we get these type of releases so v from bts has dropped a new single titled love me again and of course the army is reacting uh making it go like not number one but just making the trend on most social media sites and i think the army is probably one of the better fan bases i've seen in music history like i think When it comes to BTS, numbers-wise, they're up there with the likes of the Beatles. I would say a Taylor Swift, a Drake.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Just their fan base is very impactful on the music scene to the point where, if you remember, BTS was literally invited to the White House because the president just had to meet them and just try to, you know, cloud up off of them. That's how big they were. Like, the White House is like, y'all have to come over. like the bt s wave is undeniable at this point so they definitely start the whole k-pop music
Starting point is 00:04:37 being more acceptable in american society and culture as k-pop is definitely known for certain inflections and high-pitched vocals that a lot of people may not um enjoy listening to it but now they got to a point where they're affecting the whole world and it's not just in the own korean bubble and for that fact i had to bring
Starting point is 00:04:59 up v from bt s dropping this new track title love me again because most people are going to be given their listen and i do believe i do believe at the very least is definitely going to be solid so click my link here in my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about v from bt s and also what do you think about all the different members doing their own thing solo before jen comes back from his mandatory military service to drop a new album in 2025 and will you be that album
