Now, of course, getting into this particular Latin musician, the first time I ever covered him was all the way back on November 8th, 2024.
But of course, he is back again as far as April 8th, 2025, which is the release date for this particular track.
We're getting into titled Jacobo Grinberg.
Because if you don't know, when it comes to Victor Mandevo, Victor Mnambon.
Deval making sure I pronounce his name right and my coverage of him I talked about him all the way back on November 8th 2024 as far as his track with Oscar made don title met Mahorse jordan's whole film saying that right and then when it comes to his latest offering
uh raffa gas al viento which I cover back May March 28th 2025 and now the fruition as far as capitalizing off of that momentum you have Jacobo greenberg which is
currently the 31st most played track in Mexico. Now if you're not familiar with this musician,
just though his style is mixing traditional Corrido storytelling with trap in hip hop. So of course,
with me getting into a lot of just different hip hop musicians and me focusing on hip hop,
you come to realize that I am very intrigued on how other genres implement hip hop into their
music. Because when it comes to the musical offering, you're not really doing, doing,
hip hop justice if you're just doing it for a bag right if you're being if you're trying to
appropriate the culture but with victor mandevo and his sound and they authentically having the
implementation of hip hop i think that should be highlighted and applauded because a lot of musicians
are out here not knowing what the ultimate essence of hip hop is so with victor successfully
having trap and hip hop elements in his corito storytelling i think that is phenomenal and of course
you know what he's known for is his work with nathanel uh cano and kevin amf so his musical appeal
is very intriguing for the simple fact you could tell that a lot of things he raps about
even though of course i can't tell what he's saying but you know you look up the lyrics and things
of that nature if you're really uh into music and things that nature so when i look up the lyrics
and you realize oh he's talking about his life and his street style life's uh his street lifestyle
and things of that nature and that is very appealing for the simple fact that it seems very authentic
as his latest track jacobo is no different as it has a lot of um very intellectual themes and
more of a gritty tone because if you think about his lifestyle and what he's rapping about um let's
just say it's not pg right this is a pg podcast but what he's rapping about as far as what he
uh experienced in his life let's just say it's uh far from pg
So that being said, the other track that I covered from Victor Mandevo was the Rafagos Alviento
track and that's currently the 29th most play track in the world.
And that's very interesting because worldwide appeal as far as RIAA certification needs,
a certain amount of U.S. streams, US units to even be certified by RIAA, right?
So now Victor having so much appeal in Mexico, I think the next step for him is to cross over
to that worldwide appeal.
because you have your music being distributed by Rico O. Moreto Music LLC.
Usually, when I see artists cross over to the worldwide perspective,
I'm not saying you have to, but major labels have certain Latin music divisions,
whether it's Sony, whether it's UMG, whether it's Warner,
and they literally have Latin divisions to help you out as far as crossing over to the worldwide appeal.
The only reason I say that is because the numbers that he's putting up currently in Mexico is phenomenal.
I mean, Jacobo Greenberg is the 31st most played track currently in Mexico.
Raffa Gausalviento is the 29th most played track in Mexico.
So you come to realize that people are gravitating to his music.
So now if he signs to a U.S. a major label with the Latin Division, I think that would help him.
I think that would help him out in the long run because there's no discounting.
how he definitely has a huge market presence in Mexico because he's a rising star in a regional
Mexican music scene. But of course, with the Carridos, Tombados, and then the trap elements
implemented, I think the sky is the limit for this particular artist. Because if you don't know,
talking about certain street cultures and your music is appealing when it's authentic. And if you're
talking about personal struggles that you personally live and it's actually your story, right now you have
a unique story that nobody can copy because guess what you're the only one who experienced
the events that you experienced in life you're the only one that wakes up every day as you so now
you're putting that into your verses and it's very direct um i also like the unpolished nature of it
as far as the way he goes with his um his overall the edgy themes that he goes with and then the
overall production i think it's it's meant to be not as polished as far as him capturing the street essence
because of course in hip-hop, rawness and authenticity is often rewarded as far as you and your
life experiences. So I think for the younger fan base that he has as far as Gen Z and the
millennials, and especially his presence on social media, the sky is the limit for these type
of tracks that he's putting out. And I think Jacobo Greenberg has a high, has a very high
potential at being a worldwide hit if he ends up signing to a major label that has a Latin
division so with that being said with that being said click my link true in my bio look at my
click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about victor mandeval's
a jacobo greenberg track and if you aren't familiar with this artist are you going to check
out his latest offerings whether it's rapha raffa gos a viento or jacobo greenberg that's out now on all
