Starting point is 00:00:00 When talking about one of the best performing tracks off of Victor Medeval's Tutankhaman, we have to mention King of Watches. And who does this specific track feature? The one and only Nate and Vega, which if you don't know, when it comes to Neatem Vega, he actually has a lot of tracks himself and Mexico specifically charting. Now, as far as globally, he's currently not on a number. charts but when it comes to Mexico specifically he is also like Victor Mendevo as far as having a plethora of tracks that people really play time in time out as far as other caritos tombados
Starting point is 00:00:41 genre so now if you look at T kiera ver which is seventh most played track in Mexico currently if you look at Marina which is the eighth most played track in Mexico then you come to realize that Nate and Vega is well he also has eight in totality I was just giving his top two in Mexico but he has 8 in totality with his lowest being the, let me see. Oh, actually his lowest is the track we're getting into right now as far as the King of Watches, which is currently the 40th most played track in Mexico. So having Victor Mandevo, having Nate and Vega collaborate to put out this track really showcases a camaraderie that I see a lot in Latin music.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Now, of course, I'm not as deep into the culture as some might be, but when it comes to my coverage, my extensive coverage of plethora of artists over the time of in the Latin community. One thing I've realized is that I don't know if I'm just not aware of it, but a lot of the top artists in the Latin community end up on each other's tracks. And I think that's phenomenal, especially with the growth of the Latin community, with the growth of the K-pop music scene. Like, I believe cross-collaborative efforts are necessary for the top dogs in that specific genre to compete with the global landscape of music because if you look at it from a totality standpoint
Starting point is 00:02:01 pop country is currently well pop is like short for popular so let's just say country is currently running the charts right you have morgan wallin um is ozia osborne i don't think he's country i think he just passed away though so r r p to osi are osborne um but i'm just looking at the overall charts so morgan walling um And then you see K-pop in number two. And then you have a lot of other country albums like Alex Warren, Tyler Childers, just a lot of different country artists in the top ten. And I believe having camaraderie in your own genre, when other genres may not have the same camaraderie from the top dogs,
Starting point is 00:02:49 is a huge plus to overcome sort of obstacles to get all the, that global billboard top 100 because no matter what anybody wants to say about numbers it's definitely an indication on consumption and engagement when it comes to comparing you to other superstars from other genres so when it comes to victor mandeval king of watches i love to see the collaboration with natan vaga and ultimately that leads me into the last track i was wanting to get into from this album the track goat which is technically g oet but let's get into that track right now.
