Starting point is 00:00:03 Ladies and gentlemen, not one, not two, not three, four, five, six, seven. But eight tracks is currently charting in the top 50 for Mexico for Victor Mandevo. And when it comes to Victor Mandevo, safe to say that he currently is occupying the top two slots, which is a huge accomplishment to the point where not only does he have his track with Omar Camacho, which 2 plus 2 equals the number one most played track in Mexico as far as streaming logic but then you have Victor Mendevo's track or a ruler oh ruler hopefully I'm pronouncing that right but that just came out October 3rd and it's already the second most played track in Mexico now if you don't know about Victor Mendeval just know he makes Carrillo sumbados with a mix of trap and hip-hop fusion

Starting point is 00:01:06 But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? So when it comes to a plethora of other genres, definitely incorporating hip hop to the point where we've seen it with K-pop demon hunters. We've seen it with Morgan Wallin. There's a lot of different country acts, K-pop acts that's out here using hip-hop in certain ways that makes you realize that the evolution of technology has put it to where you can

Starting point is 00:01:31 listen to anybody from anywhere. But also, they can do the exact same thing. thing when creating music. So now you see genre bending like no like none other because of course in the past I think artists who came under or grew up on caritos tombados or if they grew up on k-pop or if they grew up on country, it was harder for them to get acclimating into what made great hip-hop great. So now you have the evolution of technology to where you can listen to any and any any uh any and everybody from anywhere and now you come to realize that you can incorporate into your own sound because guess what some of these artists who are incorporating hip-hop into their caritos tombados such as

Starting point is 00:02:16 a victor mandeval they've already put in the 10 000 hours specifically in their craft so now when they get outside of the box and they start to have more what they call modern Latin trap it sounds better to the consumer because it's something that's familiar to them but then it has a unique twist on it So and Paul's about, you know, to twist. You guys. See, that's the problem. I had to pause that for no reason. So anyways, Arula is one of the more popular tracks, not only in Mexico, but definitely in the world.

Starting point is 00:02:45 And, of course, when it comes to having a huge debut and surpassed the one and only, not the Nel Cano, who we've covered on this podcast. And of course, it also passed Tito Double P. As when you look at Victor Man Devo's Rise and Wives. and what he blew up on safe to say tic talk once again is coming out as one of the most organic and authentic ways to promote your music as he broke out via ticot and gained traction in twenty twenty four through oscar maddon's track hong kong and then he had collaborations with alamane and nate and vaga so one of the key things i will say as far as hip-hop which i primarily focus on being in a rut as far as in 2025 is the cross-collaborative efforts between the

Starting point is 00:03:36 superstars in the game and i just wonder what in the world could have happened last year to stop those collaborations from happening but then you know what i'm saying i was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like what's going on so while the superstars are all mad at each other sitting in their own corner making their own music thinking they're going to gain up garnered the same traction Latin musicians, country musicians, even K-pop musicians I hear collaborating with one another to the point where I think they are putting up some of the greatest numbers. And of course, when it comes to Victor Mandevo specifically, he almost made it to the top 100 as far as Billboard 100 in general as he was under, he was on the bubbling Hot 100,

Starting point is 00:04:20 which means you're right outside of the Hot 100, but they're still going to recognize you because of course, that's still a phenomenal accomplishment. Because when it comes to his streams, when it comes to what he puts up in Mexico, there's no denying the eight tracks that's in the top 50 in Mexico currently. But then when it comes to overall, he's not really charting in the Billboard Hot 100. But of course, he is right there as he made number eight as far as the bubbling under, which basically means he has one of the most popular tracks in the world as far as top 200 but not 100 so anyways with that being said the main thing i was wanting to get into

Starting point is 00:05:00 was that specific track letting you know it's out because it came out october 3rd but of course as of right now it's the second most played track in the world and of course he has the number one most track in the world with omar camacho as far as two plus two so if you're in math class and you teach you as you as you what's two plus two for victor mandeval and for omar camacho it ultimately means one as they still have the most played track in Mexico but of course for this specific segment victor mandevo's track or ruler is the second most play track in the world and safe to say he's making one of the most notorious mass effects on in the music industry as he continues to put up monumental numbers so when it comes to that click my link through my bio let me know on one of my
