So when it comes to the biggest gangster in Atlanta,
obviously we all know what Gunnetello ended up doing as far as him making the mantra,
as far as Yes Man popular to the point where I'm surprised he has to put out a track title, Yes, Ma'am.
Like, I would have got Takashi on it.
I would have got Ti on it.
Oh, my fault.
Never mind.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop.
Like, what's going on?
So anyways, all jokes aside, Gunna did just put out an album titled The Last,
one and as far as this particular album it is 25 tracks the length i forgot how long this was 25
tracks in goodness an hour and eight minutes of material safe to say as far as this being the last
album that he is set to release under uh young thugs label as far as a young stoner life 300
entertainment is very interesting as now that he's going into his own
business sense as far as maybe partnering with a major label to maybe start his own independent
artist label. I believe this project being the last one that he had to offer or he had to
deliver as far as Young Thug. I think that's very important as far as some people talking about
the sound, maybe being repetitive because I think what Gunna ended up doing, and ultimately,
you know, I could be wrong. I don't think Gunna's capable of putting out a bad album. I believe
he probably just gave renditions of other tracks that already worked so that he could fulfill his deal.
But I believe the next album that we get, whether it's under Universal, whether it's under Sony or Warner,
is going to be his best work in quite some time since he came out with a gift and a curse.
Now, you never want to step on your own quality, but there is a such thing as artists just basically,
is it phoning it in?
I forget the phrase but basically he's just ultimately sleepwalking throughout the entire process
trying to get it delivered to young thug right so now that this is the last project that he has
for yun thug I believe the next project is going to have more of a unique sound but of course I could
I could be wrong and he this may be the best he could do right I still believe the last one is a
phenomenal album that's the latest one he just put out but as far as it being compared to a gift
and a curse obviously we've already heard it before and I
I feel like he did it much better on Gifton the Curse.
That was really one of the better Gunna albums,
maybe the best that he's ever put out.
So with that being said, I didn't want to transition
and get into his own thought process
as far as his musical creation.
So I looked up the Will I Am and Gunna interview.
And as far as Gunna talking about the creative process,
he talks about certain melodies around this point in the video.
So of course, I'm not going to play the whole thing, of course,
but I did want to get into him talking about certain melodies
and his musical creation process.
So that being said,
click my link to me my bio and oh no link stream my bio my fault look up analytic dreams on video
on spotify so that you see the video along with the audio because about to get into the gunna
interview right now of like what's happening with me what come first like the hook the lyric a bar
first is like the melody is the cadences yeah like i i'm on a good cadence a good melody then let's
start that's it and the add to me some words and i'm on a good cadence a good melody then let's start that's it and add to me some
and nine times out of ten out I said a few words while I was
freestyling this cadence and then that's when I start to cook.
Do you write on paper or is it so on paper? Nope, I don't.
More or less now when I do a song I live with it, I ride with it,
you know, move-noble with it. Keep in mind this is one of the more successful
artists in hip-hop talking about their musical creation. So it's not just some
random person, you know what I'm saying, giving their thought process throughout making a
the track this is gonna out of all people talking about his musical creation process as far as making
the track and then i think when i play it back i try to grab something that's that's just you know like
you might hear something out of that whole tape you like oh this is this it right here you know and i'm
taking that and i'm gonna build off of that yeah i think that's the freest way to create
because that's like you responding to it and then let's not forget about will i am we all know that he's
is one of the more successful artists that we've ever seen,
especially being a part of the Black IPs.
So ultimately, these are two very successful artists
talking about the musical creation process,
not the glaze, but I'm just letting y'all know.
We're not just listening to anybody.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
That's the naturalist way to approach music.
Right.
You posted a picture of you behind the boards on IG.
Did you do some production work on the album as well?
Not on this.
Asking the hard-hating questions.
You know, well, I AM's a real, you know, a musician.
So, you know, whenever somebody posts behind the boards,
he probably thinking to himself, hold up now.
I know that's not gonna tell her.
You out here touching the EQ.
Usually like when I kind of help with making beats.
You said, kinda.
Hey, add this sound for me, or I hear something like this
and add this sound.
But like lately, I kind of been like, you know,
getting add my sounds myself.
But that's me experimenting.
I haven't really like put a song out that I put that I physically touched.
What can you tell us about the visuals that's going to?
So that being said, obviously that was some of the musical creation process that I wanted to highlight in this interview.
I would highly recommend y'all listen to this and watch this entire interview as two phenomenally,
phenomenal artists that have had astronomical success in the music industry, especially in hip hop,
talking about the music creation process.
So ultimately, I just wanted to talk about Gunnar's album that's out now,
the last one that just came out it is um let me see 25 tracks in
totality like i already said earlier and it's one hour and eight minutes but ultimately
this album is a straight banger to the point where now you know as far as me getting into the
album i did have certain favorites as far as um my favorites off of this album is the track where
burner boy i obviously you know put out a clip on my social media as which you should
definitely follow analytic dreams or whatever social media you use uh i prefer the
either TikTok or Instagram, but you know, it's up to you.
But with that being said, I put out a clip about
Gunna and Burn a Boy, and if you don't know,
Chloe Bailey is linked to them.
And yes, ladies and gentlemen, you're probably thinking to yourself.
Hold on.
If Gunna and Burner Boy is, or has supposedly been with Chloe Bailey,
and now they're making the entire track together,
and the whole premise is...
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop.
Like, what's going on?
Sometimes the state of hip-hop is letting hip-hop.
is letting hip hop let you know what type of state of mind these artists are in so ultimately that's a very
interesting track one of my favorites off of the album my other favorite is let that sink in i'm not going to
lie to you to flow on that album i think that's why gunna gets away with sometimes reproducing similar
sounds is because he really finds a certain pocket and melody and he perfects it to the point where now
if you hear a rendition of that certain flow or that melody, you're more inclined to enjoy it because it's from Gunna who really perfected that overall flow.
Everybody knows when you start rapping like Gunna does.
It's really getting to a point where he's like really stamped that sound of that swag rap and the way that he like elechews over certain beats.
And his flow is very distinct at this point as far as it being the Gunna flow.
So that's why I say that.
But ultimately, that's the main thing I want to get into.
So with that being, say, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Gunna's latest album, the last one?
What do you think about his last project under Young Thug?
And ultimately, are you enjoying the album?
And if you are, what is your favorite track?
