But those who don't know who WizKid is, just know that it's an understatement to say that he is considered one of the most successful Afrobeat artists of all time.
When it comes to WizKid, he's definitely a veteran in his music industry.
So that's why when it comes to talking about WizKid and the quality of music that he puts out,
I cannot highlight, exaggerate, or overstate the amount of quality music that this man has given us over time.
I mean, way, way back since 2016, this man has been given us straight classics on the Billboard Top 100.
Now, of course, I may be a little biased because if y'all don't know, my favorite artist of all time is Aubrey Graham, aka Drake.
And he helped this man get number one on the Billboard Top 100 for 10 weeks in a row with the track one dance.
A lot of people don't even know that.
A lot of people just see WizKid and they just think it's Drake's track.
Like, WizKid was an essential part of that track one dance.
And also, he had another track with Drake that reached number two on the Billboard Top 100.
and it was the second song by a solo African artist to reach the top two on the charts.
And guess who was the first, WizKid as well, as it was the first song by a solo African artist
to reach number one when he collaborated with Drake on one dance.
So if Drake and WizKid came out with the entire album, I would be all here for it because I just
think is turning or just transitioning into Afrobees taking over popular music as we had Tim's
we have WizKid we have Burnaboy which I think he put I think he makes Afrobeat music if I'm not
mistaken I know there's different genres inside the genre just kind of like with hip hop you have
like you have your mumble rap you have your conscious rap you know it's just a lot of different
subgenres in the actual overall genre but when you look at the Afrobeau
beach genre specifically.
They're running up the charts in ways that I can never imagine as essence.
One of the tracks that a lot of people know with Wiz Kid and Tim's,
it reached number nine on the Billboard Top 100.
It was the first song by Nigerian artist to reach the top 10 on the chart.
So Wiz Kid is just breaking all type of records every single time he drops the track.
And even speaking on Tim's, she literally was on the song of the summer last year when Future
and Drake had the track wait for you.
And I think the only reason that that was so high and well received by critics is because
of the Wiz, because of the Tim's sample from her track that was released in the same exact year
titled, I think it was higher.
But the reason we even talking about Wiz Kid in the first place is because he has a new single
out now titled LoJU.
It's like L-O-J-U.
So hopefully I'm not my name.
is pronouncing that but it's produced by blaze beats and just know this track is straight
fire that's all you need to know it's out on all dsps and now i've given you the background knowledge
to know that whizkid is essentially one of the most decorated and influential african artists
of a generation so click my link share my bio let me know one of my social medias
to the latest track by WizKid titled Loju.
And if not, when are you going to listen to it?
Because you definitely have to.
And when you listen to it, is it fire or even more, fire?
