Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, both of these artists I've talked about extensively on this podcast to the point where the first time I talked about Grupo Frontera was back on April 21st, 2023. And then when it comes to Ghazavi, hopefully I'm saying his name right. I covered him back March 7th of this year. So as far as who I've been covering the most, it's been Frontera. And then, of course, for Xavi, I believe, well, not I believe. I'm looking at the covers right now. it hasn't been as extensive as group of frontier so the main thing i wanted to do for this specific

Starting point is 00:00:36 segment while also letting you know that their particular track no cap no capia i think that's i think that's how you say it i think it's no capia which may be the spanish version for saying no cap let me make sure right now no capia let me see definition you know we can't be ignorant over here you know what i'm saying shepherd all right yeah it means no lie so anyway so with that being saying um there are English, well, Spanish version of No Cap is doing phenomenal on the charts, right? And when it comes to this specific track, not only is it talking about no cap, right? But it's also having interesting lines about self-worth, female empowerment, and of course, independence. How do I know that? Because I translate the lyrics, you know what I'm saying?

Anyways, when it comes to Zavi specifically, I wanted to dive into him a little bit more, pause. guys see that's the problem as i wanted to talk about how he got his rise to fame as he became one of regional mexican's music um one of regional mexican music's fastest rising stars tying the all-time soloist record with four regional mexican airplay number one hits in 2024 now fans of xavi already know that his breakout hit was florist Floresis, I think that's how he said. And the main thing about his

Starting point is 00:02:07 Rise of Fame, what took him to a whole other level was that he surged in 29% in U.S. Airplay, which is very indicative of him having an Interscope Records deal. If you don't know, this latest track with Grupo Frontera is under

So anyways, with that being said, the main thing I was wanting to get into, especially with Exavi, also talking about him tying the all-time solo record because that's a phenomenal accomplishment especially for an artist like zavi going out here and putting in the groundwork because looking at his DSP he's been active i believe he's been active for quite some time i think i'm looking at the right one yeah so um he's been putting on music since

Starting point is 00:02:50 2020 now of course there's not the longest discography but that's definitely enough to definitely have some type of foundation built so that when you blow up people aren't just fickle as far as well now people are fans are fickle but you still built up a foundation to the point where once your fickle fans leave you still have your day ones with you right and that's just that just goes for any sort of content creator looking for a quick blow up right main thing building that longevity credibility is what keeps you going ironically in the long run so when i look at no capia and i look at how that particular track is the 48 most play track in Mexico and then you have in privado with Manuel terizo which i've already covered on this

Starting point is 00:03:40 platform because of course we dive into the latin music community extensively and that is because of the heavy support from y'all so i appreciate it hopefully y'all enjoy this uh deep dive into the latin community as well but getting back into xavi specifically he has two tracks in mexico top 50 in provido or in provado it's the 19th most play track in mexico and then you have no capia which is the 48th which is a huge accomplishment and then you come to realize groupo frontera also have some particular tracks on the charts as was that the only one let me see okay well groupo frontera's only track on the charts it with zavi but i have covered groupo more so he's had hits in the past because of course over here at notorious mass effect we get into the artists that are notoriously

Starting point is 00:04:28 impacting the masses, pun intended. So now, looking at Frontera, I covered him, like I said, all the way back in April 21st, 2023, and now diving into Exavi more extensively, you come to realize why these two artists combining forces help them gain a top 50 single in Mexico,
