Starting point is 00:00:03 Getting back into the Latin music field, of course, when it comes to impacting the charts, it's something I try to pay attention to because the music landscape is ever changing. And so that means that the artists who are up and coming is ever changing as somebody is always putting out an attempt to impact the charts and not all succeeded. But the ones who have really gets the highlight, I would say, as far as analytics are concerned. So as far as having impact on the charts, well, more specifically the Latin charts, Yandel and Saiko are back again
Starting point is 00:00:43 with their newest collaboration titled Casario. So with this particular track, I think the biggest thing is that if you're into reggae tone, if you're into Spanish rap, well, both of these guys got you covered because I think with Yandel having such a successful track with Yandel 150 back in April 10th, 2023 when they first hit number one on the Latin
Starting point is 00:01:09 airplay charts being Yandel's 15th solo, number one at the format in Fees 3rd. Obviously, this man knows how to put out a product that his fans enjoy and not even his fans, but just the Latin community in itself. Because both, and this is the most important fact, both are assigned to Sony music Latin and with that being said I think that's the biggest thing when it comes to the music industry is these labels trying to promote their artists in a way that even cross-promotion is on the table because of course when you're popping along another musician and y'all all are on the same label at that point in time the label's going to say at some point hey y'all need make a track together so now casario is born so
Starting point is 00:02:00 The track just came out. I obviously believe Yandel is the bigger artist. No disrespect to Saiko because, of course, as a Spanish rapper, you know, he's up and coming. And roast of fame with his track, Salindo del Planeta. I think that's how you say. Planeta. Hopefully I said it right. Back in, well, last year.
Starting point is 00:02:20 So both of these musicians have had success, obviously. But them being on Sony, having a different machine to push this track, the collaborative effort between both fan bases trying to get this higher on the charts i think it will definitely impact the latin airplay as yondell has already did but overall i don't know how impactful it will be on the u.s charts because like i keep saying r i double a certification is basically fixated on u.s streams so what that means is if you're popping and i mean super popping overseas but your U.S. audience is below the threshold. It won't really hold much weight as far as the U.S. charts are concerned.
Starting point is 00:03:07 And for the average fan, they're not really going to the global charts too often to find new up-income artists, which is why I covered them in the first place, because I think that even getting to this point is super difficult. So whenever you get something like this where they're collaborating on something that's already technically, I've heard it's already been released. I've seen numbers for this track. Oh no, I'm talking about Yondell 150. I've seen numbers about this track. I've seen it cross my timeline multiple times, but for me, usually I try to see if an artist can replicate that success and not that I'm saying that Casarillo were replicated, but I do think it's a great attempt with two musicians, which I don't even know if I said this yet, who are both signed to Sony Music Latin.
Starting point is 00:04:01 So with Yondell and Saiko, they're both signed to Sony Music Latin. And with that being point, well, with that point, you know that two artists putting up numbers under the same label, which is Sony Music Latin. At some point, the label is going to approach them for a collaboration. So it's nice that both of them have expressed their mutual admiration because they really had no choice. so um i think at the end of the day yandale's just going to have another chart impactor i wouldn't necessarily say chart topper but you know only the future will tell because with sayaco i looked up his numbers and not to be disrespectful because i found saliento del planita back from last year as far as being successful but whenever it came to the overall
Starting point is 00:04:55 discography it kept pulling up some like crypto chart or whatever so I was like well at this point time he's probably not the most well known so I think the biggest name and the biggest driver for this track would definitely be yondell but who really can tell the future when it comes to who's going to be bigger in the next four to five years so I'm glad that these two musicians are collaborating and obviously beef is one of those things that drives a lot of sales when it comes to hip-hop but I love to see camaraderie amongst up-and-coming artists because there's already enough going against them like I just said with the R IAA certification being fixated on US streams. I like how these overseas artists notice that come together and put the beef aside to impact
Starting point is 00:05:42 the charts and have a bigger status when it comes into the music industry. So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio and let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Casarillo? Have you even listened to the track? And if you haven't, which artists out of the two, Yandel, well, no, if you have listened to Casario, which artists offer the track, Yandel or Saiko, do you think had a better verse?
