This all started simply for the fact that Yeet decided to put 2093 in his bio.
Now, why does this even have the slightest inclination of being news?
Well, let me tell you something.
For some reason, people have been anticipating this Yeet project.
And while that may seem like hate, I will be the first person to let you know that technically
Yeat is one of those outliers where them being independent is still able to compete with certain peers on major labels.
So obviously the reason I say that is because with afterlife that came out February 24th,
2023, that's under a field trip recording slash Geffen Jeffin.
I don't know.
Records release.
So technically somebody could say, oh, Gepin Records is under Universal Music Group, but it's more of a startup than any more actual solidified major label in the landscape of music, whether it's Atlantic, Warner, UMG, Gaffin Records is just not on that level.
So what I would say is, of course, Giet has helped when it comes to distributing his music.
but I think currently the appeal for Yeet,
which is why I'm covering this supposed title for Yeats' upcoming project,
I think his core fan base is higher than 99.999% of his peers.
And I think that's why you see him on the likes of a Drake album
or if you see him with in other collabs,
because if you don't know, Yeet is pretty,
thought after as far as his talent goes because he made a bunch of tracks with I don't know if
there's a lot but basically he made my wrist with young thug he also on afterlife had young
boy which you know how hard it is well I'm not even going to say it's not hard to get
young boy in music but sometimes it's hard to get a young boy feature for the simple fact
that he's up there in grave digger mountain let him tell it
So with ye, I think, oh, and also another reason I'm covering this is because for the simple fact that he made huge news from for blocking Jay Cole's first person shooter track with Drake.
That, I know it hurt all Jermaine fans' hearts out there, but obviously with my goat being attached to the track, it doubled back and ended up being a number one.
It was just one of the many number ones from his last album.
I mean, you know, some people like to act like the goats falling off.
But, you know, that's besides a point, right?
If everybody could do it, they would.
You know what I mean?
They would, but they can't.
So anyways, so yeah, after Drake piggy pack, uh, backpack, Yeet and carried him to, I think,
his first ever, number one.
Because if I was the look, I don't even think,
Yeat has ever had a number one ever, like in his career.
I'm even looking at that.
I mean, I just saw his album, his last album sales was like around 70,000.
I mean, I literally, let me see, how much.
So for his last album, afterlife, it was top 10 product to allow.
That was 2022.
I was 20,000.
So 20,000.
Oh, here it is.
Yeah.
So first week sales for a yeet, it was 70,000 first week.
That was pretty surprising.
But then when you combine that with the fact that I,
think he's more organic as far as his growth than most musicians in his as far as peers in his
field so that's why i think he's getting all this acclaim and status because his core fan base is
more authentic and organic and that's why people don't really target the numbers like they usually would
i mean he usually sells around 30 000 first week i mean i'm looking at life geek pack
too alive, bro, what are these titles?
Anyways, and up to me was under 5K.
So I don't know if that was like an EP or whatever.
Yeah, I don't know what that was.
Because that was about 56 minutes.
So anyways,
Yeat in general with 2093,
I think he could end up being one of the more prominent artists in the field.
But obviously, he's going to have to sign to a major label.
I know I just gave him all that credit for being the,
one of the few rappers central c is another one one of the few rappers to have authentic and
organic growth with his fan base to the point where he's competing with artists that have a way
bigger budget if that makes sense don't ask me how i know just know i follow this well i've been
following this hip-hop industry for such a long time that at this point i can usually spot who has
the big huge machine behind him about to get into making this stuff
dying in the second and who is more authentically growing with their audience so yeah i think that's
about that it really wasn't too much to get into i don't know how i talked that long about a rumor but
i did want to give yeat his flowers because at the end of the day he did put up numbers with drake and um
i'm pretty sure drake was happy to have him on the album because i'm pretty sure he didn't even think
um the track yeat with yeat was going to go that crazy i mean number one in the world i don't think he
would have saw that, especially with the album that he put out, which I still think to this day
was phenomenal.
But, yeah, I basically use this whole segment just to let you know that Drake and Yeet, well,
no, Drake carried Yeet to a number one.
I mean, that has to be some type of goat status.
I mean, that's like when LeBron had Matthew Delavadova and won a game against the Warriors.
Like, it's like, it's that type of beat, you know what I'm saying?
So anyways, all my Yeet fans are going to be upset.
How dare you disrespect our favorite artists?
Well, with that disrespect, make sure to click my link to your in my bio and message me on one of my social media is letting me know what do you think about Yeat and the rumored title for his next album being 2093?
