With a notorious sound effect as his rap name, Yeet returns with a new track titled Bigger Than Everything.
In a Cole Bennett directed music video.
I'm not a big Yeet fan, so I'm going to start off by saying that, but this new single titled Bigger Than Everything, of course, Yeet fans are probably waiting for new Yeet music and now they have it.
as Cole Bennett is a notorious, very famous music video producer, director, and, well, music video director.
And at this point, I believe with Yeet getting co-signs from the likes of Young Thug with the track My Wriss, produced by Pierre Bourne, and basically other tracks with other notable artists such as, I believe he was on, I think he had a,
track with uzi if i'm not mistaken he definitely had a track with uh nba young boy which was titled i don't
text back i think that was last year but basically this track titled bigger than everything and the last
track which was my wrist comes after or comes in the rollout of afterlife with afterlife which
yeat proclaims that the album i don't know so afterlife came
out earlier this year. I told you I'm not the biggest
Yeat fan. But basically, the
album
debuted number four on the Billboard
200 chart. So, hey, that's pretty
solid, especially for artists like Yeet,
which I don't know what label he's on. Actually,
I'm going to look that up right now. Because that's
the biggest thing I'd be looking at. Like, who is supporting
you? Because if y'all think all these
numbers are organic,
this is definitely, like, obviously
you have to have organic to a certain point,
but that's when the major label
step in and blow it up big time.
So this man is a field trip records in Geffen.
What in the world is that?
I don't know what this is.
It says, so this man is signed to Geffen records.
Geffen is spelled with a G.
So I'm not trying to, you know, I'm not trying to be funny.
I don't know what that is.
Hold on.
Let me see right quick.
Because I always look at independent artists and see who they signed to first as I believe
those type of labels are trying to be.
Okay.
So Jeffen, I don't know what this is pronounced as.
We're just going to say Jeffen.
So Jeffen Records is an American record label, established by David Jeffen and owned by Universal Music Group.
Ah, that's the one I wanted to see.
Okay, so it's basically like the G League for a Universal Music Group.
I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but you look at the biggest artists in the world.
Most of them, if not all of them, are signed to Universal Music Group, and is not under Jeffen.
and it's under like like drake for example let's go to drake uh drake is under universal music group
and he's under republic so that's like the big leagues like a division of umg recording which is
universal music group so drake is signed to republic record is a division of umg recording but still
being under that universal music group umbrella definitely is a good sign for things to come
because you can always work your way up
and then get signed by a republic.
But obviously, for this record label
to be around since what?
The 1990s?
That's insane.
1980s signing artists such as Guns and Roses,
Nirvana and Elton John,
like they seem like they take the initiative
to find these talented artists
and start them on the way to start them,
I would say.
Because obviously,
Everybody knows who Guns and Roses in Nevada is in Elton John.
But if you look at the transition to what major label Elton John, Guns, and Roses, and Nevada is on now,
is definitely still not Jeff and Records.
Like they probably went to a higher subsidiary to Universal Music Group.
So Universal Music Group has a sliding, has like a list of sub-labels, if that makes sense.
And Jeff and Records is one of those.
So just being under that Universal Music Group umbrella,
It's like being under the NBA and go into the G League.
Like you're still under the NBA umbrella and you can work your way up to the big leagues.
But just being under the ecosystem is better than being independent.
Because if you think you're an independent artist competing with any major label artist,
I'm sorry to tell you, it's just not possible.
I'm not trying to crush your dreams.
It's just you have to build up enough organic buzz for somebody to offer you some type of deal
to inflate your numbers to start competing with the major artists.
But as an independent, I would just be set and focus on building a core fan base,
not trying to compete with the big names because there's a reason why Yeet and this track
is on all major playlists and DSPs.
And yeah, what else?
But yeah, so that's basically it.
But for the biggest thing is you need to know that Yeet,
put out this track titled bigger than everything and it's available on all DSPs right now
so click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about
yee in general and his impact on the hip-hop culture i would say and also what do you think about
this track bigger than everything do you think it's fire or trash
