Now getting into Yeet, well, pause.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
You know, not the greatest way to start off a segment.
Getting into music that Yeet just put out his latest track, which is titled I'm Yeet.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
If you ever want to know the problem with hip hop, sometimes it's the creativity going into track titles.
But nonetheless, I'm not here to hate because of course, I like Yeats music.
You know, that may be surprising to some, but his last album, 2093, I really enjoyed it.
And to the point where I believe he had one of the better features from the goat, aka the mascot of hip hop, aka Drake.
As when it comes to, when it comes to Drake, I know it was off of his album.
What was it at?
Yeah, it was as we speak.
I don't see it on his album.
Oh, it was part two.
Yeah, because I remember, I think the original version came out and then Drake's verses.
added to it. But anyways, the reason why I say that is because the most hilarious thing that
happened in hip hop when Yeat was going crazy back then as far as, uh, what was that?
As far as 2023 was the fact that IDGAF and Jermaine's first person shooter track with Drake
was competing because who in the world would have saw that coming. Of course, we had slime you out
with Drake and Siza. We had a lot of other tracks offer for all the dogs that I believe could have
went higher on their charts, but ultimately it ended up being IDGAF that was one of the more
outstanding tracks from an analytical standpoint off of Drake's album, which is very surprising.
So with that being considered, Yeats fan base is definitely active and very engaged into whatever
he's on and whatever he puts out. So I'll be interested to see what ends up happening
with this specific track as BNX is also labeled on the track.
which I don't think producers usually get features on tracks,
but, hey, you know, teach his own, right?
Because Yee also put out the feel no ways,
Yeet mix.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen,
Yee actually got a whole Drake track cleared
and he was able to make his own remix.
But then you come to realize,
in the credits, it said OVO
under exclusive license to Republic Records,
a division of UMG recordings.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
Safe to say that Drake has a very hefty percentage on that track.
But, you know, nonetheless, I think that was pretty solid.
I like Yeats music in totality.
I think he's a very interesting artist when it comes from an experimental factor.
And as far as the sound of hip hop, I think he does a lot to change it up to showcase how genres have a lot of subgenres that maybe get glossed over because of the overall, maybe.
maybe some people don't like the way that he approaches the rapping aspect because i believe he's not
a lyricist right i believe yeat his production and the way that he execute flows over that b-n-x
production is what keeps people coming back time and time again which is why i like it you know some
people would call it hyper pop i don't even know what that means i just think it's experimental rap and
ultimately he's messing with sounds that normally rappers would stay away from you know
So I would give him kudos for that.
And of course, when it comes to him rising in the early 2020 through snippets, which I always say when it comes to TikTok, it's one of the most authentic ways to engage with your audience, especially if you're putting out music.
If you want to be taking serious as a musician, safe to say that a couple snippets would not hurt, right?
Just one person watching that could change your entire career, right?
So when people are not putting out snippets trying to be taken seriously as a musician,
I just look at them like, what are you doing?
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, Tim, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
So as far as looking at the state of hip hop, Yeet definitely has it figured out.
I really enjoyed his last album.
As far as his specific track, I'm Yeet.
I don't know if this is for a new audience.
I don't know what type of marketing budget.
Maybe the marketing budget was 10xed with this specific track.
So he was like, I'm going to let y'all know who I am.
Because I don't see why in the world, it would be titled that.
right so ultimately yee is going to keep having success as far as on the charts i do believe when
it comes to this track i'm yee this is the unequivocal single for his upcoming album now i don't
know when he will put out an album but as far as having drake behind him in his camp and giving him
um a push as far as a marketing strategy you come to realize that yeat is still under field
trip recordings which is umg so now ultimately i believe yeat is you
is going to find himself at a crossroads.
Either you sign to Drake or
Drake's going to take your producer
and run for the heels, right?
It's two ways this could go down.
I mean, if you want any inclination
of how it could go down, just ask the weekend, right?
So I think Yeet is a great artist in himself.
BNX is something that Drake automatically saw,
as I always say,
he collabs with an artist, takes their producer,
and now that sound is his.
With Yeat, his sense.
is so unique. At some point, I can see Drake stepping in and being like, hey, are you going to sign to me?
Because if not, we beefing now. You know what I'm saying? Just straight like that. So, ultimately,
is Yee's decision. I believe that Yeet is on tour, if I'm not mistaken. As far as his IG, let me see.
I think he's on tour. He has himself a pile of money. I don't know what that means. Dangerous
Summer. He has himself Yeet, Chella. So I guess he was at Coachella. I think that's what he revealed
to feel no ways remix so anyways i i don't know if he's on tour not his uh marketing campaign
needs a little work but um yeah so when it comes to the track i know his fan base is gonna engage
with it ultimately i believe he's on tour uh don't like quote me on that but i believe he is
but but with this single click my link sure in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you
think about yeet's latest track titled i'm yeat very funny enough is titled i'm yeep and if you like
the track what is your favorite
about the track that he just put out.
