Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, there's no reason to be in close proximity with an alligator. I just had to start it off like that. I'm sorry. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? But all jokes aside, I wouldn't say I'm a huge Yeet fan, but I do enjoy his music. So unlike some other newer rappers, I really enjoy Yeats' music.
Starting point is 00:00:27 And ultimately, I like his take on certain projects, especially with the 2093 track, which I still to this day believe that was one of the best Drake verses as far as in 2024 so obviously he has respect from Drake as well as we already know the type of features that Drake was given now I mean should we talk about the set the feature he gave sexy red all right my fault so with that being said um yeat especially in the year of 2025 I believe this is going to be a phenomenal year for him as when you look at the way that he's just been putting up numbers not only having one of the top trending tracks off of for all the dogs for Drake back in
Starting point is 00:01:09 2023 but also his own project as far as lifestyle all the way but not all the way but last year more specifically October 18th of 2024 he ended up debuting number one with 89,000 first week sales boosted by his first ever physical release so not only is he putting out music at a consistent rate, but he also has physical purchases as far as from his fan base because of the respect that they've garnered for him. If you didn't know, he also performed at Coachella this year and headline lyrical lemonade, Summer Smash. And then of course, with the overall respect that he's garnered in the music industry, he was able to perform with the go of hip hop at the Wireless Festival performing. IDGAF
Starting point is 00:02:02 live for the first time. I can't believe that's the first time that's ever been performed live. I know Jermaine was livid. I mean, you're on tour with this man. You're on all type of... You need all type of videos. They hyping it up.
Starting point is 00:02:18 First person shooter is this close to being the number one hit. And guess what beat it out? Mm-mm-mm. Well, if you didn't guess, it was IDGAF featuring Yeat of course. So I put a lot of respect on Yee's name and his fan base and of course
Starting point is 00:02:35 I just want to let you know. As far as me predicting Jermaine Cole being the most overrated rapper of all time, safe to say that in the year of 2025, I think he's finally figured that out. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? I mean, I don't know if I need to check
Starting point is 00:02:54 my local academy to see if he's shopping for bikes or if I just need to go outside to see if he's just you know bumming i don't know what type of time he's on right now but last time i checked he was supposed to be putting out an album talking about the fall off and ironically but then you know what i'm saying i was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like what's going on anyways without with that germane slander out of the way because i've been doing pretty well i haven't been slander in him like that because you know after your point it's proven right and then now it just looks like you just dogpiling on them and then their fans make his fans may get upset you know what i'm saying
Starting point is 00:03:29 because he went missing for some reason. I just can't, you know, put my finger on Y. Almost like side seven has something to do with that. But anyways, back to Heat. We have an official track list as far as the EP. And then, of course, I was trying to see if I could find it right quick. All right. So on Yeats page, he has Dangerous Summer, new EP, no rollout, no deluxe, just straight bars.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Now, just plain. He didn't say that. He said, covered by Harmony. corrine i think it's corin or corine i don't know one of them um and it's coming out friday so i can't wait to listen to it because of course if you're doing stuff like this which goes which is basically a callback to i was saying at the beginning of the segment there's no reason you need to be in close proximity with an alligator i'm a reiterate those sentiments once more as you can see right here doing your own stunts my brother you are not tom cruise um that stuff could really end bad
Starting point is 00:04:30 that's all i'm gonna say because i ain't trying to be that 25 year old going on 80 trying to give you life advice you know what i'm saying so with that be it said then he had another one oh i definitely clicked out of it i was supposed to press the right uh i think it was the right button let me see wasn't that one okay it's one of them ah here we go okay and then we have another one where he's walking and then just look at what's beside him ain't no way you guys see that's the problem Let me tell you all one thing. If you get to life and you realize that I'm going to be in close proximity with an alligator, safe to say you are definitely living the yellow life because being that close to an alligator,
Starting point is 00:05:17 there's nothing that could save you if that alligator wanted to eat a little early for the day. You know what I'm saying? Like if he was a little hungry, he could have said to himself, hold up now. It's just space and opportunity. and that would have been all she wrote. So that is huge as far as him trying to be Tom Cruz. You can see him looking back
Starting point is 00:05:39 making sure, like, I don't think you understand how fast alligators are, how strong they are. Like, I know that those I think it was Steve Irving. What's his name, Steve Irwin? One of those type of shows. Anyways, they made it look like way, it made it, Steve Irwin
Starting point is 00:05:55 and his folks made it look way easier. Right? The way that they handle the animals is not how you're going to handle animals in real life those are professionals they make it look easy because they do that for a living safe to say being in close proximity with the alligator is not the greatest thing but you know that's just that's just a little joky joke but really not you know what i'm saying it could really take off all your fingers you guys see that's the problem so that being said when he completely doing his own stunts like he's the black um tom cruise it's shaping up to be an
Starting point is 00:06:27 interesting marketing rollout especially for something that's i'm not going to say just the EP but it's It doesn't seem like it's a full length project. So, and also on his IG, he said no rollout, no deluxe. It seems like a pretty good rollout to me. I mean, if you're walking around with an alligator, having an alligator close enough to take off your whole entire hand, that's definitely a rollout. In my opinion, you know, a lot of rappers are doing a lot less for a marketing rollout. So I give him kudos for that. Also, I want to reiterate, I do like he's music for the most part.
Starting point is 00:06:57 BNX is another producer that I really like in the game. I like the way he cultivates a unique sound. And that's why going off from my Drake point, because y'all know Drake's my favorite artist, Drake notoriously. I mean, Blockboy J.B., if there was one thing, he ain't realized was that Tay Keith was about to be Drake's producer. But then, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:07:17 I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? The whole time he think he's in the stew with Drake, Drake thinking to himself, I'm in the stew with BNX. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, 10, look at the state of hip hop. What's going on? You know, that's besides the plan.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Trying to drum up any drama because I do like the Yeet and Drake dynamic. So hopefully that doesn't end. I don't think it will. I think Drake may give him some type of stimulus and Yeats' next project. But, you know, sources are I made it up. So ultimately, I am a proponent of this EP. I can't wait to listen to it. And I'm not going to say I'm a huge Yeet fan,
Starting point is 00:07:51 but I definitely like listening to his music. So with that being said, click my link to share in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about Yeats' EP, Dangerous, Summer, and are you looking forward to the project when it comes out this Friday?
