Starting point is 00:00:04 If you then know, Yee and his fan base have definitely made themselves known and recognized when it came to the masses when regarding the music industry. Because of course, the album that came out February 16th, 2024, titled 2093, gained a whopping 21.9, which basically 22 million streams on his first day on Spotify, which is, his biggest album debut to date. And this would be, well, that was as far as the year. I mean, it's February, so I'm not even going to say that's that, because it was like one of the third largest albums of the year, the year just started. So obviously it's not that right now.
Starting point is 00:00:50 But with that type of debut, and then to have your opening week streaming about 87 million, as far as its opening week, but more specifically as far as the totality of units, 61 units first week as far as sold for the album 2093 you come to realize that that yeet and his fan base is just beyond impactful when it comes to impactivating the masses because of course when you look at the collab effort with drake on his part two of his album 2093 that came out February 17th 2024 you come to realize that the collab with drake and yeat is
Starting point is 00:01:34 More of a great match for both of the artists, specifically for the fact that Drake collabs with newer artists to be a part of the newer sound. And with the type of engineering and producing that Yeet has, I would say that 9 times out of 10, the beats are probably the best part of his discography. Now, of course, Yeet as his specific flare, but it's nothing of the wowing. factor like it's definitely flows on flows as far as the melodies is considered but as far as you know lyrically he's not saying too much right and i say i that to say this he has a new track titled stf you which you already know what that stands for right it's a pg podcast so there's that you know so i'm not going to tell you what that stands for as far as the stf you but you know you can probably guess so going back to my point about the lyrical status not being the high
Starting point is 00:02:34 highest with yeat that's okay because of course the production is the biggest thing when it comes to the heat and the overall vibe and the melodies is set for i would say more of a club atmosphere than the actual introspective let's sit in a dark room and listen to your album i remember when xx tantacion you know god rest is so uh talked about his album needing to be consumed in a dark room so you could get the message. But that is why I basically saying that overall, the output from Ye is very interesting because he put out an album in February. He's coming back in October to put out a second album in 2024. And his first album, so 61,000. So I'll be hard pressed to see him actually overtake those sales as far as 61 units sold first week with 2093. But I'm not saying he's
Starting point is 00:03:30 going to flop. I'm just saying that I don't think he'll be above that. I'm open to be wrong, of course, but I think it would be more in the 50, 60 range if he gets to that 60. So obviously, his fan base is going to come back and support him no matter what. But ultimately, the thing I wanted to just point out is that his album lifestyle does have one of the hardest covers I've ever seen in a while. So the amount of effort that he put into his album cover, because this is not CGI. This is actually, he has like actual footage behind the scenes footage of the lighting effects and the horse running in the background
Starting point is 00:04:04 and the monster truck and it's just it's a lot going on. I mean that's an album cover if I've ever seen one and the amount of effort definitely needs to be applauded because most these days people just type in the AI you know what I mean make me this cover and then that's the album cover right so I like how it's more
Starting point is 00:04:21 real life effects than actual CGI that Yeat went for as far as his album cover lifestyle. So he has a whole entire album out now on all DSPs. And as far as the more notable features, I mean, he does have Little Dirk on his album with the self-titled track, you know, as far as the album, lifestyle.
Starting point is 00:04:42 And then you have the Don Tolliver track, New High, and he had a track with Kodak Black title to Be Quiet. So, of course, you have some notable features on here. And with the runtime of an hour, in two minutes and 22 tracks total, you're definitely going to get your consumption as far as being a Yee fan because, you know, dropping two albums in the same year is insane. Even though February is, you know, significantly far from October as far as the amount of time lapse, it's still a very interesting strategy to put out two albums in the same year, especially if some of your tracks
Starting point is 00:05:27 and none of your albums are in the top 100, right? I don't see 2093 in the top 50 currently. It's October, so of course some time has passed and obviously sales go down after its first week. But the reason why I say that is just, you know, if music is not as longstanding on the charts that you will hope for, then maybe you will come to the conclusion
Starting point is 00:05:51 of putting out a second project like you did as far as putting out lifestyle. But that's why I wanted to point out the overall, all debut of 2003 because I do think this album will stream well as far as on the and also impact the charts as far as as the album being considered but it's just
Starting point is 00:06:07 very interesting to see an artist like you putting out two albums in the same year because it's not like he's giving us the crazy substance that you know basically needs another album to tell your story like you know it's pretty bare bones as far as the lyrics is considered but the melody like I said the beat is the best part of it
Starting point is 00:06:25 so you know with that being said it's really not too much to get into a yeat overall i think his fan basis is vying for that top spot gonna just sold 91,000 first week sales with his album one of one and seemingly is gonna double back i don't know if he'll put out another project in this year but seemingly is double back and hyping up a new project with him um already being successful on the chart so maybe it's just one of those competitive nature where you just want to outperforming your competition and let's just say he did have one of my favorite verses from drake as far as in 2024 with the release of part two as we speak being on that uh extension of 2093 so uh
Starting point is 00:07:14 with that being said click my link sure in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about the stf you track and also at the end of day are you surprised that yeat decided to put out yet another project in the same year of 2020 24.
