Hopping back into Bollywood, I have to say with this particular track popularizing the Punjabi Bollywood and the hip hop fusion, it has me thinking to myself.
But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on?
As when it comes to the overall billboard charts, obviously we know that Sade 7 and Aubrey Karen is running the charts and leading the hip hop numbers as far as the field landscape.
But when it comes to La Puri, the specific track we're getting into today, just know.
that this blends Punjabi lyrics, of course, Hindi rap and electronic beats and the most important part, especially for the podcast, it is currently the fourth most played YouTube video global.
So globally, so as far as the most played YouTube music video in the world, it is the fourth.
So having that massive impact on the masses and especially it being one of Indies or India's big.
pop cultural hits since the 2010s and 2020s and of course with La Piree just marking a real
nostalgic like return to the party anthem roots because of course with me covering certain
Bollywood tracks in the past when it comes to this one specifically not only is it attached
to a film that is House Fool 5 which is a 2025 Indian Hindi language comedy thriller film
and this came out recently, June 6th of this year.
So of course, with that being considered,
when you have a film and you also have a soundtrack to go along with it,
that's in captivating the masses, safe to say that you have a hit on your hands.
As with this track, La Puri, it was made by Yo-Yo Honey Singh,
Samar Kar, and Al-Feyas, as far as Al-Feyas being a co-writer.
And then when it comes to the lyrics, it was solely written by Honey-Sing and Al-Fiars.
of course the overall music video if you watch you you could kind of understand why is the fourth most play music video in the world but of course when it comes to notorious mass effect and coming in covering the landscape of music the entire music industry you come to realize that shaky another track that i believe was a bollywood type track let me see i believe this one was yeah so shaky a track are already covered so if you type in shaky analytic dreams you
with the zia should pop up but my coverage of shaky by sanju rathan that was also a bollywood track and that's
currently the most play music video in the world you know i'm not taking any credit for it but all i'm
saying when i did cover it was the fifth most now is number one i'm just saying you know i feel like
i feel like you know what i'm saying i feel like i help out a little bit when these reviews because
when it comes to bridging the gap between ignorance and just ultimately becoming infatuated with a new
genre i think this that's what this platform is for realizing that a lot of different genres are out
here notoriously affecting the masses pun intended and people just aren't aware of it because if it's
not in their bubble they just aren't aware of the landscape of music and what people are actually
listening to worldwide so that being uh with that being said la peri was released may third of this
year and this is the standalone single and lead promotional track for houseful five that i just got into
Obviously, I already got into the riders and things of that nature.
But I didn't want to talk about in deep dive into Samara Carr on the recording process.
As if you don't know, I believe I do have the Instagram account.
Yeah.
So this is the Instagram account right here, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But essentially, when it comes to Samar Carr, she talked about her overall
effectuation with the recording process, basically saying that.
they sang the hook in two octaves to bring energy in the dynamic range,
which you can obviously tell if you listen to the track,
which already said, I've really enjoyed this track, like, authentically.
Like, I really like the track.
And, of course, when it comes to that,
there's other Bollywood tracks that I've covered in the past.
And let's just say, I'm not saying I didn't like it,
but there's a reason why I may not have just talked about my love for the track.
is because I listened to it.
I was like, oh, it's cool.
I don't understand it.
So I'm just going to cover it and let people know
who are interested in Bollywood releases.
But of course, for this specific one,
and there's been other tracks before.
Like, this is one track I covered not too long ago, I believe.
Let me see.
And if you go on my link tree in my bio,
I have a playlist that's on my link tree and my bio
towards the bottom.
I have what I'm listening to.
And I literally have this track on there
because I actually listen to it.
So there was this particular track.
I'll probably have to go to,
I have to go to sort because I have a lot of tracks on here.
But let me see.
Salopare is one of them.
And then there was another track that was titled,
not Brandino, even though I like that track too.
But there was another track.
I'm trying to see if I go.
Was it Bach Bling?
I think it was Bach Bling.
No, that's more of a K-pop track.
Where is it at?
Can you please?
Ah, here it is.
Sanam Terri Kassan.
by Hamesh right that track to this day is my favorite Bollywood track of 2025 the
Sanam Therri Kasam track is phenomenal and of course already covered that if you just
type in Sanam which is S A in AM analytic dreams with a Z you'll be able to pull that up
but essentially me broadening my scope of the genres I get into made me realize
that a lot of these chords a lot of these bridges and choruses sonically they're
using some of the same structure and you come to realize that
that even though if you understand the lyrics, you can still understand structurally and sonically
is pleasing to you. So now you like the track. And that's the same thing with this specific
track as far as La Perre. I really like the chorus when Samar Carr talked about the recording process
saying that they sang the hook into octaves to bring energy and dynamic range. You can understand that
because at the beginning, the chorus is sung in a different octave. I think it's sung,
sung in a different octave. And then of course, when it gets more into the end.
up tempo they change the octave so it's very different as far as the delivering the deliverance of
the chorus and it makes for it a really immaculate track obviously and um i really like it and i don't say
that by every bollywood track because if i don't like it i'll just cover it and i just won't get my
personal opinions i really like this track so that's what i'm saying personally i like it and it
ended up on my playlist for this year so um well that means said this track is doing phenomenally on the
charts um when it comes to the film the film has gross to uh 236 um indian rupees worldwide
and if you wanted like a translation to us d one indian rupee equals 12 cents as far as in america
so of course when it comes to the worldwide gross it as far as converted to usd it grossed
over 2.8 million dollars as far as the film house full five so safe to say
it was a success and definitely was one of the reasons that the soundtrack gained so much popularity.
But of course, the other reason is that the music video is immaculate.
You watched the music video, you could tell, but oh, they put a lot of effort into this music video.
And throughout the music video, you could see why I say that.
So with that being said, let's go back.
So this is Samar, this is Samar's IG.
So if you was wanting to just see what they've been working on in the past,
like they have a behind the scene making of the track.
So a lot of different things you could jump into as far as the creation of this track.
And then you can see the final product as far as this music video right here.
So ultimately, I really like getting into different genres and just like seeing like what's
affecting the masses as far as various genres because they all start to influence one another
because a hip hop artist listening to Bollywood music could start putting.
putting chords from their type of music into hip hop and then vice versa as you've seen with this
track going insanely popular that it also has a lot of hip hop fusing within it and what i will say
about that is it's just like it's like critique i think if they had like a real rapper i think that
would have been um more impactful on the rap verse side but everything else is fire but you know when
when it comes to hindi rap i'm not the most um enamored with it right i'm not going to say it's
corny but the hindi rap does not captivate me like regular rap does but of course i cover hip-hop
primarily so that that may just be my bias coming out but at the end of day this track is doing
phenomenal the music videos the fourth most played music video in the world which is a phenomenal
accomplishment and of course uh it being up with the likes of lady gaga rosy and bruno mars
as sharon you come to realize that outside of your bubble there's a whole other world that is top
it is chart topping and showcasing the notorious mass effect in ways that you probably never even heard of so
with that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about
my additional bollywood coverage as far as specific tracks and of course specifically
what do you think about this la peri track from hadesh sing
Thank you.
