Getting back into the Latin music field, we have to start with the foundation, which is the Wave Music Group, which is basically a record label that specializes in urban, regional Mexican music. And when discussing majority of record labels, they've been around since the beginning of time. But this particular label started what was founded by Angelo Torres and Caleb Calloway back in 2021. and they signed a long-term distribution deal with Capital Music Group in April 2023. Now, all of that is important because of the artists we're about to discuss, who is a Puerto Rican rapper, songwriter, and one of the first openly queer musicians in the world of Latin trap. So with all that being said, I think that her success, as far as

the charts is concerned. I mean, even to this day, the bizarre music sessions that she was a part of is charting. I think it's around 97. I think, yeah, it said 97 and it was even higher than that the week before. So the reason why I bring that up is because I've covered young Michael before, but I covered it in the realm of talking about bizarre. So now we're going to get more into the artist who is young Michael, who basically, received the Impact Award at the 2024 Billboard Women and Music Awards. And then she performed the acoustic version of the single that this segment is over, which is titled Carita, I think that's how you say it, with a pianist and two percussion. And so, of course, with that whole performance, you know young Michael had to come out and express her excitement, being in a room with women she admires and shared her journey in music because i think that her coming

out and still trying to have a successful career in the music industry knowing how sometimes it can be handled or those situations can be handled it's a very interesting interesting story to tell so with her emphasizing the advice she always gets from my mother and delivering different powerful messages such as like falling in love with oneself you know being in love with yourself not like in a i guess there is there a bad way to be in love with yourself i guess if you love yourself too much it's like a narcissist or whatever you know they love to throw around that word but it's always great to have self-love because can't nobody love you until you love yourself you know i'm saying so with young michael basically giving that powerful message and also having music that

basically impacts the overall charts. It culminates into a movement with two up-and-coming entities. One being Young Micro and then the other being a whole record label that was literally founded three years ago. So the honoring of Young Micro with the 2024 Billboard Women and Music with the Impact Award is such a huge

moment and time. And I think it will shift into young Michael having success with this current track that just dropped out on all DSPs currently titled Corita because at this point she has had multiple charts impact well multiple tracks impacted charts such as collaborate and such as tracks that she collaborated with Bad Bunny and feed resulting in top 100 hits such as Athena that was number 14 I think that was with Bad Bunny and Classy one-on-one that top 99 so it was at 99 with a feed and overall she has four hit songs on hot latin songs three on latin airplay and five on the billboard global 200 and global exclusive u.s charts so safe to say

she is performing when it comes to analytics and numbers as far as the charts are concerned you know I call myself analytic dreams so at this point I try to break down these numbers I guess the key look. No, let me chill. All right. So anyways, with this bizarre music session still being on the charts, even after a whole year, because I believe if I go to her discography, which, you know, Corita out now in all DSPs. But if I go to her discography, the bazaar was released all the way back in,

I wasn't that long ago. I'm tripping. It was released in January 10th, 2024. That's what I felt like last year. Anything released in December or January, I always forget the year. But anyways, it felt like last year. But it was released literally at the beginning of this year. So it's still on the charts.

I mean, it's March, you know, usually music does not last that long. I mean, just ask any rap. Let me chill. Anyway, so at that point, well, at this point in time, I'm interested to see what this current track, Herita does on the charts, because, you know, it's not all about numbers, of course. But with specifically what I cover, I try to talk about artists who are in past,

the masses at a global scale and obviously at this point in time young Michael is doing that as she was literally given the impact award at the 2024 billboard Women and Music event on March 6th so this current track Corita I'm pretty sure that is going to end up having some type of substantial impact when it comes to all the charts and I can't wait to see it can't wait to see how it culminates because with it be a women's history month i think some of the the the promotion and marketing are going to be even more on these type of artists so hopefully they can capitalize off of this opportunity so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about young micho have you heard of her before uh if you have what's your favorite track and as far as this specific uh specific segment what do you think of the track karita and do you think that this will
