Starting point is 00:00:00 One of the more talented up-and-coming artists that we have right now in hip-hop has just released a new album titled Love Scars the sequel. And by Love Scars the sequel, I mean Love Scars 2. And it has a plethora of features on this album. Actually, I'm just joking. He actually only has three features, which is pretty interesting. It's almost like he's trying to go for that cult classic for his song. fans. I mean, even the album cover art is kind of fire. I mean, it shows him with a lot of chains on and it's like an x-ray. And then around his neck area is like a tattoo called Love Scars.
Starting point is 00:00:44 So it's like a, it's a pretty fire album cover as far as like trying to be introspective and deep. But at the end of the day, I haven't listened to the album. I did listen to the Chris Brown album track, which I will get to in a second. But I want to get into. But I want to get into how this has 15 tracks on the album and that may be a lot they may be too much for a young artist and by young of course young blue has done a lot of collabs with the biggest artist in the game but as far as an album because i don't know how many albums he has out right now like obviously it wouldn't be as much of a big deal if he had like more features but it seems like it's mostly him on this album so i'm thinking 15 tracks
Starting point is 00:01:30 is a lot. Like maybe release 11 or 12 and then put the rest out as like a deluxe. So Moon Boy came out in 2021. I think he kind of missed with that album. And that was 16 songs. So this one's one song
Starting point is 00:01:48 shorter. The deluxe was 16. So if the deluxe was 16 and this one's 15, like I don't know if he's going for like a numbers type play or what it is. But for the most part, I think 15 tracks is too much. But obviously, I haven't heard the track.
Starting point is 00:02:03 I mean, I haven't heard the album. I think Young Blue is one of more talented artists in the game. So I'm not, like, scared of the quality of the album. It's just, like, as far as mass appeal, people see 15 tracks and they just get overwhelmed, especially with a name that not everybody outside of the hip-hop industry is going to recognize. But anyways, that's besides a point. So Young Blue is back again. 15 tracks.
Starting point is 00:02:32 42 minutes is the runtime for the album. And he has Chris Brown. He has somebody else. I doll the sign. And then he has Tink. I don't know who Tink is. I don't know who Tink is. But Tink is also on this album.
Starting point is 00:02:48 So there's three features. And what else? Oh, I did listen to the Chris Brown track, but I'm going to get into that and like its own specific segment. But for the most part, I really just wanted to point out the fact that Young Blue is one of the most talented chorus makers in the game right now. I would say more of an up-and-coming Sway Lee because his range as far as singing is usually on point. I'm not saying he has a great voice because whenever you're autotune heavy, I don't know what it is about it.
Starting point is 00:03:25 But if you're consistently using autotune when you're singing, I think his same. a detrimental effect that it has as people don't really think you can actually sing. I mean, even T. Payne went through it as I don't know who Young Blues engineer is because he sounds amazing. But using a lot of autotune leads people to believe that you can't sing as well as you may actually can with your real voice, no auto tune. So that's my take on that. But anyways, click my link to my bio. Let me know what of my social media is. What do you think about Young Blue dropping his album Love Scars 2 and will you be giving this album? I'll listen.
