Starting point is 00:00:03 You can never say I don't keep it eight more than 92 because we have a lot to get into in this particular segment. Now, I wanted to be respectful, so I made a whole segment dedicated to talking about the passing of Julio Fulio. But for this specific segment, I'm connecting the puzzle pieces. You know, at some point, somebody has to put a stop to this. And since I've always advocated for abiding the law. and being law-abiding citizen like myself i wanted to get into this because enough is enough so hours after hulio fulio's death rival rapper young and ace released a video for his song do it y'all want to know what the lyrics is let's just take a stroll down memory lane right because this was just
Starting point is 00:00:55 released what an hour or two after he died or what was it hours after folio's death and look at the comments Tonight we drink Don Julio to the face. They want the old ace. Okay, this is his comments, right? Trolling already. Push you back an hour. I'm out right now. My dog.
Starting point is 00:01:15 All type of exclamation points. Period. Nephew. The grim Reaper. You know what another comment says? On day neck. I'm sorry if this is insensitive to some, but I've already done a whole segment specifically talking about the passing of Julio Fulio.
Starting point is 00:01:33 So this segment is just completely calling out the type of preposterous commotion that's been going on because of this event. Now, as a law-abiding citizen, as somebody who covers hip-hop and is passionate about hip-hop, I think it's my job to disseminate to the masses this type of information
Starting point is 00:01:55 and let them do of it what they will, right? Because, of course, I'm not putting any type of activities or events on any one particular person. I'm just putting information out there into the public and letting you do of it what you will. Right. So anyways,
Starting point is 00:02:11 Fulio is associated to the gang KTA, while Young and Ace is linked to ATK, rival gangs, mind you. And there's been previous incidents in the past. 2018 Youngen Ace was shot eight times and three others, including his brother, were killed in the shooting. and Fulio mocked this incident.
Starting point is 00:02:35 And I have to say allegedly because at the end of the day, there is articles and publications that can back this information up. But to save myself, I'm still going to say allegedly. 2021, Julio Fulio was grazed by a bullet in a drive-by shooting. What was it related to? The world may never know. 2023, Julio was shot in the foot. And 2024, Julio Fulio was shot and killed in a hotel parking lot early Sunday morning celebrating
Starting point is 00:03:06 his 26th birthday. Guess where it was? Uptown, Tampa. All right. So with that out the way, hours later, Young and Ace released a video for his song, Do It. You can probably see why I've had enough with this whole genre, because it's definitely a subgenre of music that a lot of certain hip-hop fans highlight and give them financially incentivized reasons to put out this type of energy into the world.
Starting point is 00:03:39 So somebody has to call it out and why not me, somebody who's always been an advocate for just abiding by the law. So anyways, increased violence in Jacksonville is due to these type of gang rivalries that have been highlighted, but certain songs like Who I Seasons. smoke has been highlighted by different songs in the community that a lot of people come together and they've realized that this type of activity is how you get to the bag you know because there's incentivized reasons for why you put out music for why you perpetuate this type of lifestyle and the reason is monetary gain so just now because these fans have been seeing the ramifications
Starting point is 00:04:31 right in their face is in their face now as far as the actual conclusion, which history should have been told them, but I don't know if these people are real hip-hop fans. I think they just like perpetuating certain lifestyles because it brings in monetary game. So now that they've seen the finite conclusion of having this type of career, fans and community members have expressed concerns about the glorification of violence and ongoing gang conflicts,
Starting point is 00:05:01 in the rap community and they've called for peace with anti-violence advocates emphasizing the need for peaceful resolutions and the dangers of gang involvement why am i saying all this because ladies and gentlemen enough is enough if nobody is going to come out in a hip-hop space because let's not just act like hip-hop is all full of just priests and people who are very upstanding citizens. Like, there's not a lot of people in hip hop that, I'm not going to say not a lot, because that's a little harsh.
Starting point is 00:05:40 But let's just say hip hop, we accept anybody. Anybody and everybody, we don't care if you beat women. We don't care if you shoot people. We don't care if you move drugs. We don't care about none of that stuff. A very hypocritical setting, but the reason I fell in love with hip hop
Starting point is 00:05:55 is for people like Kanye West or Drake, you know, bringing that energy into the hip-hop space where you don't have to be a hardcore gangster breaking every single law to have success in the genre, right? Because if you remember when Kanye first came out, he got clown for the way he acted because it was seen as corny. It was seen as weird because he wasn't perpetuating a certain lifestyle of taking people off the earth, right? So that is one of my favorite artists when you ask why did you get into hip hop kanya west drake obviously he's going on certain tantrums now about being in the gang life but early drake everybody knows he was very Kanye west-esque as far as
Starting point is 00:06:46 the type of character that he was portraying it was not no gangster it was the opposite of a gangster in all actuality so whenever you get into this type of subgenre of hip-hop, which is much less popular than the drakes of the world, the connieres of the world, Tyler the creators of the world, the logics of the world, like people who can rap and don't have to talk about and highlight non-law-abiding acts. People who are in this subgenre, you can say the most popular is probably who little dirt is probably the most popular in this specific genre I'm talking about right here but what I really wanted to say is enough is enough making music videos after somebody dies and allegedly connecting it to that
Starting point is 00:07:43 situation my bragging about the incident because y'all are both in a gang rivalry is something that has to be pointed out and it just can't be condoned by the masses it's just not something that we should keep continuing to let happen. Like we can't just let this happen and nobody points out the history that preceded this event of a whole human losing of a life due to a shooting.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Because there's no concrete evidence yet that is connected to this gang rivalry. But for everybody who's real avid hip-hop connoisseurs, you know what in the world. world is going on. Like you know what's going on. And somebody just had to put it together and just let you do what you will with this information.
Starting point is 00:08:40 That's basically what I'm going to leave you off with. So anyways, click my link to share in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about this whole situation about Julio's death and a music video released right after it from a gang rivalry? And do you think it has any connection or maybe I'm just tripping? But at the end of the day, what do you think should happen to end this senseless violence from these rappers indulging into the gang life?
