Julia Hummel has been named Vice President of Digital Strategy and business development at Warner Music Canada. The B2B music streaming technology specialist, Tune Global, has struck a deal with Reactional Music to act as the music back-end provider for the Reactional Music Box, which is the company's global music delivery platform for game development and consumer markets. 1 RPM has opened an Atlanta office, which is headed up by Orlando McGee. The talent management company YMU has launched a U.S. Entertainment Division under the leadership of Agent April Toombs. BMG has financed and executive produced a new feature-length documentary about Mark Bolin and T.Rex, which is written and directed by Ethan Silverman and was produced by Bill Kirbyshly and Ethan Silverman. Apple Music has launched a live stream concert series that will kick off with Harry Styles.

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber currently have the most monthly listeners on Spotify, with Ed Shearren holding the coveted number one position at over 84 million listeners. The Web 3 company Medallion, headed up by Matt Jones, the former CEO of Warner-owned Concert Discovery Service Songkick, has raised over $9 million in a seed funding round. Hannah Dudley has been named Head of Artist Promotion and Marketing at Swedish Independent Music Distribution and Artist Services Company, Amuse.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Bravado, which is Universal Music Group's merchandise and brand management company, is consolidating the Bravado and Epic Rights licensing rosters. The UK music licensing company PPL has reported revenues of 252.8, million euros for 2021. LimeWire, which is a former file-sharing platform that recently relaunched as an NFT platform, has struck its first major label partnership with Universal Music Group. Universal Music Group's spin-up distribution platform will be moving to become an invite-only platform that will now be curated by its team as of July 19th.
