I don't care if I play 15 minutes. I need to contribute to this championship because if I don't, they will say that these rings would have been won without me. when he's in there? Let's say they're up 2-0. If he comes back and they lose? And they lose a game? Holy shit. I mean, holy shit. I don't know. To me, I think this is making Katie's job to leave a lot easier. Wait. Win or lose.

I think he's in a no-win situation if he comes back or not. Because if they win by a lot, that's all right. Yeah, well, of course. You're supposed to do that. But if they either lose by a couple or they lose a game or they're not as dominant, it's going to look like they're going to look at maybe they're better without you. Maybe they don't need you. And, you know, it makes the job easier for him to leave that much simpler.

And if I'm the Knicksicks i hope they win without him because he can't go to a stacked team like i would be if i'm kd at that point i'd be like get me kemba don't get me kairi because i need to be the undisputed alpha dog of this fucking team and we will win and i need to be the guy unquestioned kairi will question i already think it's better to build a team with kevinant and Kemba than Kevin Durant and Kyrie. But if I'm Kevin Durant, I'd be like, I don't want no motherfuckers out here acting like they're one beat.

He needs to be the only one with a ring. Yeah. He needs to be the only one with a ring, maybe a vet, but not a guy like Kyrie who could say, no, I've been here. I've taken it. I've hit big shots in the finals. Yeah, that's my only drawback. That's my only drawback.

So this could potentially be the best scenario for the Knicks. Of course. Now be careful about getting hopeful. No, I don't want to get too old, but imagine, obviously, like you said, it makes it easier for KD to leave, but it also makes it easier for KD to go, hey, I don't want Kyrie because I'm not going to have a repeat of what happened in Golden State where a point guard has taken all the glory that should be mine.

I need Kemba. I think the Knicks are in the best-case scenario right now. I think because the fact that they didn't get Zion. Because if KD and Kemba Kyrie come to the Knicks and you get Zion Williamson and he's not developing at the pace that you expect him to, he's getting the LeBron comparisons, he's getting the Barkley comparisons, and he's not getting those touches that he's going to get in New Orleans or Memphis or wherever he would have ended up at,

you got R.J. Barrett, who's the perfect complementary guy. At his peak, you know what I'm saying? At his peak, is he ever going to be better than KD? Probably not. Is he ever going to be better than Kyrie or Kemba? Probably not. He might get close. He might get close.

But Zion? Zion's that once-in-a-generation dude. So if I'm the Knicks, I'm happy with the Warriors winning without KD, sweeping through the Blazers, probably going to sweep through the Eastern Conference winner or whatever like that. I'm happy, bro. I am in a good mood.
