There are now six SEC teams (Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M) that could finish the season at 10-2 or better. They probably won’t all make the CFP. Meanwhile, Oregon survived a scare at Wisconsin. The Badgers led for much of the night, but the Ducks took the lead late and hung on to win. In other Big Ten news, Indiana signed coach Curt Cignetti to a new contract. In the Big 12, Colorado pulled away from Utah to move to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 play. Meanwhile, Arizona State won at Kansas State to set up a huge matchup with BYU next week.   In the ACC, SMU stayed undefeated in conference play by beating Boston College. Clemson kept its slim conference title hopes alive with a narrow win at Pittsburgh.Watch us on YouTube instead! https://youtube.com/live/pmfnEy5G6tIHosts: Andy Staples, Ari WassermanProducer: River Bailey

Welcome to Andy and Ari on three. What a Saturday Ari. We just watched Georgia
beat Tennessee 31 17 in the the best game we've seen Carson Beck play all
year like George's offense was great against a defense that has been stingy
to everybody but didn't look real stingy tonight.
Yeah, Georgia just continues to be Andy, the most confusing team.
Um, college football, it just like they've got the best collection of wins.
And when they look like that, they're scary as hell.
And they've had other games like the one we were at where they look. Ped They look pedestrian and I don't know if it's a home and away thing.
I don't know if it's a Carson Beck showing up thing, but
it's a very hard thing to rank.
It's a very hard thing to contextualize in terms of expectations.
All I know is that the Georgia team that we saw on Saturday night is a team that
I would be afraid to play if I were anybody in the playoff. The team that we saw last week could get beaten by just about everybody. So, you know, I think the lesson here is that this is probably not a shocking result. I'm kind of shocked that Georgia started to feel a little tentacly, you know, octopusy, you know, you know what I'm talking about with the boa constrictor at
the end there where it seemed like Tennessee just couldn't, you know, hang there for a while. But, you know, we
have a group of four teams now, Andy, in the SEC that are kind of indistinguishable from one another. They've all
beaten each other. They're all two lost teams in the SEC. And George is right back in the thick of things.
Yeah, and it is going to be hard to parse those teams hard for you and I,
as we do bracketology and bubble watch hard for the committee as they rank them next week.
And you know, I this this makes the bubble a lot more interesting.
I think probably there were a lot of teams around the country hoping Tennessee would win tonight
because it would make this a little easier. But it's not gonna be easy because you got Georgia that had this win against
Tennessee that had that win against Texas, you've got Ole Miss that had that
win against Georgia, you've got Alabama that has a win against Georgia.
All of that is gonna be considered, Texas A&M in Texas are on a collision course.
Yeah, so you have Texas and Texas A&M right that are on a collision course.
But right now I see a collection of five teams in the SEC Andy that I could not make a rational case for leaving out of the playoff.
You have Texas.
You have Texas.
You have Ole Miss. You have Georgia.
You have Alabama.
You have Tennessee.
Those are the five.
And I don't know how you're gonna approach this
when you get to bracketology at two in the morning,
but you might be throwing all five in.
You might not.
I don't know where you stand on this,
but whoever gets left out, if they do get left out,
is gonna be a team that feels screwed.
Right, so the question is, who do you leave out
if you put all those in?
And then remember, A&M can win its way in
by beating Texas.
Or into the conversation, if nothing else., but you're right because who do you
leave out at that point?
Do you leave out 11 and one Notre Dame?
Do you leave out potential 11 and one Indiana?
11 and one Penn State?
Like who you leaving out?
Because yeah.
That's that that Wendy Saucy take from three weeks ago is coming coming to life and I didn't know it would come to
life this way as a result of everybody in the SEC being a
viable option, but that's kind of where we're at right now. So
you know, if you have been a person who's made a statement
that one loss Indiana is in no matter what or that the ACC can get two teams in potentially.
Or I think you need to look around a little bit because there are going to be a lot of people in the north,
I think, who are pretty upset about the way that this is going to go because, you know, we haven't seen them operate in this 12 team,
you know, playoff committee.
And I know there's chatter about whether or not the SEC is getting an unfair benefit of the doubt with all these teams beating each other. But I know
how it's going to operate when these people show up in grapevine to put this bracket together. And if we get to a
point at the end of the year where you have, you know, 5 teams in the SEC with 2 or a few losses in the conference and
they've all beaten each other, you're going to have a really hard time putting a team in that doesn't have any quality wins. And you know, that's, you know, it's like the Indiana can kick rocks thing that you just put up there is going to start.
So I tweeted about this last week at two in the morning when we were in Mississippi.
And it's true. It's like Indiana has a huge game next week like the teams that are are in non SEC
conferences and non Big 10 with you know, Oregon and Ohio
State's schedule should be crapping their pants right now
because there's going to be a very heavy SEC playoff of
things continue this way.
Yeah, and I just I am curious to see how this is because I
don't know if it's going to be a heavy SEC playoff.
I don't know what it's going to look like. I just know if there's 11 and one big team, big 10
teams left out in favor of 10 and two SEC teams, it's going to piss off the big 10.
If there are 10 and two SEC teams left out, I feel like they played a tougher schedule
than the 11 and one big 10 teams. That's going to piss off the SEC. I think the result probably is a 14 team playoff in 2026,
which we already know they're headed toward, but.
And then they'll also be probably trying to get
guaranteed bids.
For the the Big 10 in the SEC.
Now here's the thing. If you did three and three guaranteed
bids,
they both be getting those.
Question if it's going to be four and four,
because that's what they're going to of it's gonna be four and four,
because that's what they're gonna go for.
Yeah, foreign for, you know, listen,
I don't know that the SEC is gonna end up like this every year.
Maybe it will. Maybe this is the new normal.
But when you have the most teams in a concentrated league
who compete in talent acquisition and program investment.
To win a national championship all in the SEC like you're bound to find yourself in a place where
if you're trying to find a bunch of really good teams then this is what you're going to get. Now
it might be harder to make that excellent every you, one team that's levitating above everybody else we've had
in the past. But, you know, Texas invests a lot in football. LSU invests a lot in football. They're not even in the
discussion right now. A&M does. I don't have to go down the list, Andy. There's a lot of teams that are built and
equipped to go 10-2 in this league. And I know that it's a, it's a wider range of teams that are involved. And I know that it's a it's a wider range of teams that are involved. And I know that the schedules are going to be
tougher. But, you know, the teams that get the best draws
might even be in that mix, like a Mizzou, for instance, was
pretty close to being in this mix tonight, if they didn't
blow it at the end of their game. Like there are going to
be teams in the SEC that aren't in that like golden seven, that
can get to 10 and two in good years and favorable draws. So like, I don't know that it's easy
to, you know, get past what's happening here. I think this is going to be the norm. Because the truth of the matter is,
Andy, you don't have to be a league of excellent teams for this to happen. Like, and I don't know that anybody in the
league is unquestionably the best team in college football this year, like it has been in so many years past.
I think that they have a lot of really good teams. But deciphering those is going to be an issue this year and into the future.
Well, I think George is the best example of this, because the Georgia team we saw tonight can beat anyone. Can get in the
playoff, can beat anybody they see in the playoff can win
enough games to win the national championship.
The Georgia team we saw last week against Ole Miss and look Ole Miss is awesome.
But the way Georgia played against Ole Miss last week, they play like that in the playoff.
They're going to lose to pretty much anybody they'd see.
So that's the that's the thing.
We there is nobody who is that consistent this year and we're
going to talk about Oregon in a second.
We saw Oregon struggle on Saturday against a team that's
not that good, so it is.
It is going to be fascinating to see who they pick, but then
once those games starting to play off.
I do feel like pretty much anything can happen.
Yeah, and I, you know, with what Rhett Lashley said. I do feel like pretty much anything can happen. Yeah.
And I, you know, with what Rhett Lashley said
this past week, and I don't know if we talked about it
on our show, we might've done it on JD's.
We did a lot of hours.
We did a lot of shows.
Just forgive me if I can't recall what we talked about
and when we did, but Rhett Lashley's quote
about how the ACC is being disrespected, right?
I saw a lot of that on Twitter today in terms of LSU's loss to Florida that you were at.
Because LSU was a quasi-quality win for a lot of the teams that are in the mix here still.
Like Alabama reasserted itself as a team that should be reckoned with by blowing out LSU,
and then LSU turns around and loses to Florida. And this was done in the, uh,
in the context of Louisville's loss today. It's like, well, LSU loses.
And that's kind of a glue team that a lot of people are hanging the resume on
and no one seems to bat an eye when they lose to Florida. But yeah,
I don't think anybody's hanging a resume on LSU anymore. I mean,
I at this point, like the LSU fans,
I had an LSU fan friend text me after that game go, I think I
think they may finish six and six at this rate. So there is a
lot. The thing is, it's only two more weeks in the regular season.
But there's a lot that can happen. Because we're making
we're still making a lot of assumptions. Like, at least one
of these SEC teams that
we're talking about is going to lose because two of them are
going to play each other. But it's entirely possible that
some of the other ones lose as well. Well, refresh me on the
schedules here, Andy. So we know that when you say one of they
play each other, you're referring to Texas, right? So I
don't even think that I'm even viewing A&M in that cluster of five. So if Texas, if they beat Texas, they're in it. If they beat Texas, they're no, I know. But if let's just So they're not in that cluster that we're having a hard time with.
But I'm not a schedule.
I don't have the beautiful mind that you do that just recalls everything off the top of their head.
So I need you to help me out here.
But do any of those teams outside of Texas in that cluster of five play a team that they are going to be in the game with?
Don't all of them have very favorable endings to their schedule or am I forgetting something?
Ari, did you think Oregon would be in a game with Wisconsin? No, no, but I'm saying it's highly likely though that the teams that have two losses
Or it's it seems like it's highly likely that some crazy shit happens. That's what's highly likely
Texas and Alabama have to play Auburn Auburn has one SEC win
But they've played a lot of one possession games.
Texas plays Kentucky.
Kentucky has one SEC win.
It's against Ole Miss on the road.
Like. Weird things can happen and probably will.
OK, but just just stick with me on this here for a second, Andy. So Tennessee has to play Vanderbilt, which I guess is a quasi weird situation,
but they've got Vanderbilt and UTEP left.
Georgia, their remaining games are against Massachusetts and Georgia Tech.
Alabama has to play Auburn.
So we know that that's a rivalry game and it's tricky,
but Alabama's got Oklahoma and Auburn, two games that should be favored and again, like you said weird things can happen
Who's the last team that I didn't just that I didn't just mention Ole Miss. Let's go look at Ole Miss now
Ole Miss has Florida and Mississippi State there. They're at Florida next so then Mississippi State in April. So
assuming
For the sake of the exercise that Texas beats A&M, which isn't a safe assumption,
you need a massive upset of some sort
for that cluster to be broken up.
And I'm not saying it won't happen,
it's college football, it probably will,
but you need a jaw-dropping, weird-ass game
in order to make this clearer, which by the way- you need the Auburn Tigers to show up one of these.
Yeah, that's what you need.
So is it okay to say that it's likely that we're going to end up with five teams from the SEC in that cluster at the end of the year?
Or do you think that's unlikely?
Be like also to we talk about the beauty of college football and how the unpredictable happens, but the beauty of college football
In terms of unpredictability doesn't always have to manifest in losses like the beauty of college football is it's a clusterfuck and at the end of the year
This cluster see what I'm doing with the words there
That's college football too. It doesn't just
have to be an upset like that complete abomination of a
situation that nobody's going to be able to navigate is
exactly like like people are how many years and how many
decades have we spent coming up with chaos scenarios in
November that don't come true. I know well so after Florida
beat LSU, our guy Matt, who often comments in the chat here, tweets at me, says the the eight way tie is dead long with long with the seven way tie.
And then it looked like Missouri was going to beat South Carolina and South Carolina comes back and wins. And that ends the seven way tie. So long live the six way tie in the SEC.
Andy, who are the two teams and I don't mean to put you on the spot. You might not know, but who controls their own destiny to be in the SEC
championship right now, Texas and Texas A&M.
And only one of them is getting in.
And then what then you have to go down a rabbit hole of Willy Wonka's
chocolate factory to figure out who else plays in it.
Yes.
Yes.
And it may be losing to Kentucky's the thing that kills Ole Miss in that one.
Okay. So, but like if Texas wins, then there's a whole new set of circumstances that come into play. And if Texas A&M wins, then it's a different set of circumstances.
I'm understanding that right. Texas A&M wins makes it far more spicy.
Okay. Yeah, I'm just trying to trying to wrap my brain around this because this is
this is compelling. Yeah. It really is.
And like also, too.
I'm going to put you on the spot again.
OK, which one of those six teams in the top six there,
that graphic you're looking at, Andy is the best.
I have no idea.
Which day is it? Where are they playing?
I don't know.
They're they've all had their moments.
And they all had their wins. And they've all looked bad at
times. And they all looked bad at times. Yeah, let's put that
graphic back up. Put the put the SEC standings back up. Let's go.
Okay, Texas lost to Georgia has no good wins. Texas A&M lost to Notre Dame, got kind of
blown out at South Carolina. Georgia blown out at Ole Miss. Tennessee just got
handled by Georgia and lost to Arkansas. Alabama lost to Vanderbilt. Ole Miss lost
to Kentucky.
All of them have their warts.
Now let's go down the good side.
Texas has not lost any of those bad teams
other than the really good team they played in Georgia.
Texas A&M destroyed Missouri.
Well, I'm not sure what else we got on it.
The LSU win looking a little rickety right now.
Georgia has beaten Alabama, has beaten Tennessee.
Tennessee has beaten Alabama.
Alabama has beaten Georgia.
Ole Miss has crushed Georgia.
They've all looked really good at times.
They've all looked like world beaters at times.
Andy, just pick one.
Who do you like the best? Who would you? Who would be your horse? I
don't know. Like the Georgia we saw tonight, I take them. The Ole Miss we saw last week,
I take them. You know, I'm going to see we saw against Alabama. I might take them. The
Alabama we saw against Georgia and LSU, I might take them.
I might sound nuts here, Andy, so save me because I'm going to pick a horse.
Okay. I think I'm going Ole Miss, man.
I think that's a good one because teams evolve as seasons go on and they look like they're playing murder ball right now.
It's quarterback lines receivers to me. Yeah, I like their package.
So Jim, Annie, are you saying that none of them
deserve a playoff bid?
They are all fatally flawed.
Jim, probably 11 of the 12 playoff teams will be flawed
in some way, shape or form.
Maybe all 12.
Welcome to the new world of college football.
There are no flawless teams.
Rimsy in the chat.
Ari, he's asking you, do you think Ole Miss would blast Indiana?
I have no context of how good Indiana is yet.
We'll find out next week. That's I mean that that that game is going to be.
Awesome Indiana, Indiana, Ohio State is going to be awesome.
Kurt Signetti new contract in Indiana. He's staying there.
It's going to be great. So.
The SEC.
Mayor may not sort itself out. It may make itself.
Even messier. see may or may not sort itself out. It may make itself even
messier. And that's honestly, great. Love it. Love it. But
that's that's the game. You already see it in the chat,
though. That's the game that's going to happen at the end of
this month. Andy, how would Indiana fair in the SEC? Like
it's already. Yeah, if Indiana had Georgia's schedule.
Which, by the way, there is a stat that the committee looks
at called, yeah, there is a stat the committee looks at called
strength of record.
That's how would the average team do
against this team's schedule?
How did this team do versus how the average team would
do against this schedule. And so I think you're going to see.
Georgia, probably Alabama, definitely Oregon will have a very good strength of
record like Oregon might have the best one depending on how things go.
Yeah.
I mean, Georgia's got the worst and hardest draw on the SEC, right? So the fact that they are...
Yes, three brutal road games.
So when we're done here, I'm gonna have to fill out this Top 10, and I have no idea how I'm gonna fill out mine.
And it's like, part of me is like, I'm a week removed away from watching Georgia look completely pedestrian in person. And then on the other hand, I look at a team that has the two, the collection of the
two best wins in college football, maybe the best, most respectable losses in college football and a team that just
beat Tennessee. And they played by far the hardest schedule of anybody in the SEC. It's like A&M is in this cluster
because they were the beneficiary of an easy path. Right? It was easy you can get in the SEC. It's like A&M is in this cluster because they were the beneficiary of an easy path.
Right.
It was easy you can get in the SEC.
Like Georgia got to the same point.
And Texas is too.
Yeah, Georgia got to the same point
as the rest of these teams
by playing a much more difficult schedule.
So do you reward that or do you penalize the team
for losing two games, one of which was pretty embarrassing
in the way they performed?
So I think you look at the teams and you decide,
and nobody wants to hear this
because this is the eye test, unfortunately.
But you look at the teams and you decide
who do you think would actually win games in the playoff?
Who has a better chance of winning games in the playoff?
And that's why I think you see the committee
going with rankings that look awfully similar to line makers power rankings.
Which favorite teams like Georgia and Alabama and Ohio State.
Over and over and over again.
Oh Craig that was crazy okay so do you want to talk about the teams in this game? Because we just talked about the SEC for
the last few minutes. We do need to talk about the teams because
I want to ask you about Tennessee. Yeah, is there
offense good enough to compete in the playoff like we have to
ask that it was just it was kind of rough to watch. They're
going to be able to run all over a lot of teams, but they they
got to figure it out to the air and I'm not sure that that's going to happen in the next two weeks.
Yeah, because both of us like I was like banging the Tennessee is going to wind drum.
And I put my money where my mouth was today.
I took them out right today.
And my under hit Georgia covered.
I really thought that they were going to be more competitive
and for the most part they were right like they were in the
game in the fourth quarter like and I guess that's all you can
ask for if you're Tennessee on the road playing at Georgia.
But I found myself when watching the game knowing in my head
that Tennessee wasn't scoring again like when they got the
17 I was like they're probably not going to score again.
I thought I thought in that really long drive was like a 14 play driving in and a punt.
I thought during that drive, they're going to score here.
They're going to take the lead briefly.
I think it was 17 all at that time at that point that they would take the lead.
But then Georgia, the way they were moving the ball would just storm back down the field and retake it.
Like Carson Beck was as good as we have seen him play.
Not just this year, but last year as well when he had better
receivers.
The line for Georgia was outstanding.
Like this is a really good Tennessee defense and they made
them look normal.
Remember Tennessee hadn't given up more than 20 all year.
Like.
This was an incredible performance by George's offense. Yeah, and I didn't think that they were even capable of that
with their personnel and I didn't even have a great game.
Carson Beck had his best game person back on the ground.
The one scramble in the first half and then the touchdown run
in the second.
Like I don't think Tennessee had that on scouting report.
Mm-hm.
Yeah.
So like I'm don't know that I'm in love with Tennessee at the moment because of
the offense and it's like something that's been percolating for two months.
And you thought maybe they would turn it on.
I actually thought that that whether how many times did Nico overthrow deep shots today was a two or
three. Yeah, some guys open downfield. I think the committee is just gonna have
to decide who they think can do better in the playoff. And like, I'll give an
example. If you're deciding between Ole Miss and Tennessee, I think most people
right now are gonna pick Ole Miss. Now that may change in the next two weeks,
but right now, I think if you were,
if it came down to those two for the last at large spot,
I think you'd pick Ole Miss right now.
I'm telling you right now,
it's not coming down to two SEC teams for the last spot.
Okay.
The SEC is going to be decided first
and then it's going to come down to them in Indiana
if they lose to Ohio State next week.
We're telling you right now.
Like I said, I know everybody.
There's a lot of people on the Indiana at 11 and one is in no matter what train.
And I'm like, that train is not a gravy train.
It might make it to its destination, but it can go off the rails real quick.
I'm just.
Am I wrong, Andy? Like, save me.
Like, am I wrong to be concerned about that?
No, you're not wrong to be concerned about it. I still I,
but I think they're getting in and 11 and one as long as they
don't get blown out next week. As long as they're competitive
in this game. If Tennessee wins in their next two games doesn't
play in the SEC championship and that team is compared head to
head with Indiana who loses to 14 by 14 or 13 to Ohio State on
the road and they have a win over Alabama in their pocket, you really,
really 100% feel comfortable with Indiana going in over that team?
No.
OK. But I think there's a good chance.
I think it's a 50-50 proposition at best.
That's fine! 50-50 is about all you can hope for at this point. Tennessee does have a win against Alabama. At that
point, Indiana would have no wins against playoff teams. If you got a win against a playoff team, that is a lot better
than no wins against playoff teams, even if you have more losses.
You know, there weren't very many shocking upsets today. I actually thought it was a pretty chalk day, right?
Like we were talking for the first few windows
that it wasn't the most jam packed windows
of games that we've watched.
So let's just go SEC heavy for the time being,
because this is the team, the conference.
No, no, we need to talk about the number one team
in the country struggling.
Oh, sure, sure, we're going to.
We're going to.
We barely ever talk about Oregon
because they just blow through everybody.
So let's- We're definitely gonna talk about Oregon, but I wanted to ask one last question, because they just blow through everybody. So let's we're definitely going to talk about Oregon
But I wanted to ask one last question and I don't even know more question then we're going it
We're moving to the Big Ten. We'll come back. How about one more take?
Okay, I
Don't think Texas is gonna win the SEC and we can just leave it at that and I think that when that happens
It's going saucy take it all but if they make the SEC Championship game and lose,
then we're all in a blender together because then they go down into that.
And then you might have a two loss Texas team going up against Indiana,
which would give Indiana a better chance to get in.
I think so. One of these other.
One of these other SEC teams that has two losses suffers a third loss in the SEC
championship game.
And this is the Greg Sankey goes crazy scenario.
If the SEC championship game loser is punished for its loss in the SEC
championship game by getting left out of the playoff, you're going to call on that
column right now.
You can have it if you want.
Because I don't want to watch Greg Sankey burn it down.
You will watch him burn it down.
Because it's going to be very contentious because the ACC loser is going to be punished.
So when the ACC loser is punished, then the SEC loser should probably also like,
here's my my take on that. If we're punishing conference championship
losers, or we're rewarding them, and I don't care which way we go with it, but we're going the same way with
everybody.
That I'm telling you right now, though, that the ACC and the Big 12 have no power. They can get as mad as they
want. They can't actually do anything. If the Big 12 and the SEC get mad, they will change the playoff. They will just change how it works. I'm telling you right now. This
year and next year will be the only years like this. You know, infuriate me if we get
to the end of the year and there are different rules for different for different places.
Well, guess what? There are different rules to the SEC in the big 10 because if they don't
like the way things are going, they will just make new rules.
I'm just saying as a consumer of the sport, I would be annoyed by that.
I'm sure you will. But I'm a common sense person who believes in the golden rule. He who has the gold makes the rules.
So I'm telling you right now, if the Big Ten and the SEC are not happy with the way this works out, they will just change it.
I'm reading that comment.
Vance, Vance, Vance.
We're going to talk about organ in Wisconsin next.
So we're going to start with Vance's comment though. He had
organ minus three and a half live with plus odds after that fake field goal, Dan Lanning
blood feud. It is on. One of my best friends. One of my best friends. I've seen in all season,
by the way, go ahead. One of my best friends had the same line. I lived through that with him.
That's brutal. Yeah, that's so brutal.
Because I think that is that about bad beats, Andy,
is that we always talk about the spread.
Yeah, you don't think about just a coach
deciding to get abysmally cute.
But like you only think about the pregame spread.
You don't think about the hundreds and hundreds of
thousands of lines. Yeah, alternative lines that get
screwed all the time, which happens to me every weekend.
Okay, I'll let you do your thing.
Now we're going to both do our thing because we've been very
saucy.
We're going to talk windy saucy nugs.
We'll be right back.
Oh, maybe we're not.
Producer River did not have the video ready. Oh, maybe we're not. Producer River did not have the video ready.
Oh no.
He was on a roll.
He was on such a hot streak.
We need to add.
Do you want to make a graphic that says zero days?
We have a graphic that says zero days since Ari's last mic issue.
So now we need a graphic that says zero days since River didn't have the video ready.
I have no concept of how hard it is to get that video ready, but we can continue.
OK, all right.
We need to wait on the Wendy's.
We'll talk about Wendy's after Oregon and Wisconsin.
Let's talk Oregon and Wisconsin right now. OK, because.
This was a game we assumed Oregon would just roll through
be very easy for them.
It was not.
This was a when your clunkers, you know, I don't know if we're calling it a good
win.
It's one that I'm happy for Oregon that they won because this could have been
really embarrassing for them.
Yeah.
So do we want to start on like them not winning by enough?
Somebody just said that I need to be hard on Oregon and like I don't.
Why would I be hard on Oregon?
If they won?
Like what have been bad if they'd lost like it would have been really bad if they tried that fake field goal when they could have gone up 1913. And then Wisconsin.
Had tied the game with a field goal and then wanted overtime.
That would have been really, really bad, but that didn't
happen. Orgas defense came up big. Mateo, we on the legacy
interception to win the game. But did you hate that call or
like that call? Because every I was debating people on it.
I hated it. You hated it.
Hey, you probably you just I'm going to guess you didn't hate the decision
to go for it. You hated the way in which they did go for.
Right. Put Dylan Gabriel on the field if you're going to go for it.
Yeah. Well, I'm going to tell you that I really liked it.
And you want to know why?
Because on fourth down, I was laying on my stomach in my bedroom writing.
Just so you guys know, when I write my articles, I lay on my stomach in my bed and I put a pillow underneath.
People don't need this image.
OK, I'm just saying that's how I write.
I don't write at a desk. I write.
How do you write on your like that would kill my back.
And also, how do you type like that?
I have a system. OK. But anyway, the iPad was to the right. So I always have my iPad at the four box next to the
screen so I could look over. And when they got stopped on third down, I went back to writing, and I didn't see the
play happen live because I was so locked into the notion that they would kick a field goal, which means
that nobody saw it coming. And it was the perfect time to try something like that to win a football game.
Nobody saw it coming because it was incredibly stupid.
The guy was a half yard short.
You know who saw it coming? Wisconsin! Because he didn't make the first down!
Yeah, it was a, it was a, it was a fourth. So here's the thing. And I don't know if this is going to come across as a
shot at Ohio State, so please don't, I'm not trying for it to be. But in my decade of covering the team, some years,
this was better than others. I covered a team that had more talent than the team that they were playing 99% of the time, right?
And I always thought that during my time period there that Ohio State, and maybe it's even true to a certain extent now,
relied on just their talent advantage to win football games.
And I always thought that they could be more clever, more tricky, more aggressive in situations
to really put opponents in a bad spot.
And like, I admire that Dan Lanning just goes for it.
And I know that it might not always be
the most aesthetically pleasing thing,
or you might always think it's stupid,
or it doesn't work out.
I don't always think it's stupid.
Like the Washington, the first Washington game last year,
when he went for it three times
there was only one I just yeah with because
When the one at the very end of the half
You should have kicked the field goal because the end of the half negates the advantage of making them
You know play backed up their own goal line
But usually I agree with Dan landing when he goes forward and I would have agreed with him in this case
Had he put his offense on the field.
Don't rely on the punter who's your holder to gain those yards.
And I keep seeing in the chat.
Well, if Herbert had gotten his block, it would have been a touchdown.
Don't rely on the punter who doesn't run the ball very often.
Rely on Dylan Gabriel and Jordan James.
Before halftime, he also did a fake Neil play.
Like I like that Oregon makes you think.
And like they put stuff on tape and you always
feel like the man has something up his sleeve
and they try to do something that the opponent does not
anticipate.
And I think that having a talent advantage,
it gets very easy to just do the status quo all the time and just right, they have practice stuff. So
when they get in games against teams that are equally talented,
they're ready for it. I get it. I also like that he has that
much faith in his defense. So I'm not killing Dan Lanning for
this. I just would have liked the offensive on the field. I
think he knew either way that Wisconsin wasn't crossing the 50. So, you know, I think that that's
part of it, too. I don't know, maybe you don't run that play if you're playing Georgia in the semifinal. But like the, and
also, too, there was no consequences for them to even lose this game to begin with. So it doesn't even matter. But I'm
saying, when you prepare for Oregon, as an opponent, there is an element of what the hell is this man going to come up with? And I
think that every good coach should have a what is this man going to come up with situation that puts the other coach on
tilt a little bit in high leverage situations. Now I will say this about Dan Lanning, and it's true, Andy. He does seem to go for a lot in critical situations in big games, and he seems to
fail getting it a lot in big games. And I don't know if that's bad luck, or if it's the wrong call, or whatever it is,
but he has taken a lot of chances, Andy. And it does feel like, from a 30,000-foot view, that they come up short more
often than not in these situations. Is that a fair thought? Like even the Ohio State game, they went forward
on fourth down inside the 10 and they didn't get it like I have
a lot of don't getting it moments and maybe I just don't
remember the ones that he's getting again, but as long as
it's right, not not right before the half or right at the end of
the game, you know, the going forward on fourth down inside
the 10 inside the five, I have no problem with because I
appreciate the advantage it gives your defense even if you don't make it.
That often suspect up on its goal line. So I also love to that that is on film now and when they play in a playoff game and it's fourth and two from the something that
to practice and it's something the opposing team practice but also in the head of the opposing coach of what else did he come up with during the last three weeks?
Like, I just, I think that there is something to gain
from doing shit like that,
that isn't just did you get it or not?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Missing Tez is huge, hey hey says in the chat.
Yes, Ole Miss missing Trey Harris has been huge.
It happens.
Sometimes your best receiver's out.
You gotta figure it out. And Oregon to figure it out. And Oregon overall, Randy, they lose. You
overthink this or is it just it's hard to blow everybody out
in an 11 win season? Like I just hard to blow everybody out. I
don't. Yeah, I'm not killing Oregon because they didn't lose.
Like, they won the game. Sometimes you just have to get
through these and they
did and they're going to have a week off and they're going to play Washington, which by
the way, there's a lot of mental freight in dealing with Washington. They've lost three
in a row against them. Like they've got to figure it out. I think it'll be so I think
they're going to be okay too. But I thought what they're like to figure it out. I think it'll be so. I think they're going to be OK too,
but I thought they're like Washington's playing better,
so we'll see. But I don't.
Yeah, I I'm not going to bag on Oregon.
I would have preferred the offense be on the field if
you're going to go for it on that fourth down,
but chat here wants us to hold the undefeated number one
team in the country accountable for not losing,
so we're not doing a good job.
Yeah, now Oregon is going to be held accountable.
How would you hold them accountable and what would you hold them accountable for?
Even if they're 11 and one, they're still going to be number one or number two.
Like, like, what is the appropriate thought there?
I don't even understand.
Like, what what what are you going to say that we should be meaner to Dan Lanning
because he he won only by three.
Like, who cares?
You were pretty critical of his decision to go for it.
So the way that he did, I don't, yeah.
I think that I shouldn't have even acknowledged this guy.
All right, keep going.
It's okay. It's all right.
I tell you what, we're getting a little saucy here. So let's talk Wendy's and then we're going to talk coach prime.
Their big 12 chances at Colorado.
And Travis Hunter for Heisman.
Ari, you're official welcome to On3. We are presented by Wendy's, the Saucy Nugs.
That's our specialty item.
We have every flavor of Saucy Nug.
You've been training for this your entire life.
You know, I was telling everybody before this, but my dad looked at me in the eyes when I
was a kid and he said, son, you can be anything you want to be.
You just got to put your mind to it and work hard.
And I said, I want to eat Wendy's on camera. So I made it.
Here I am. So I'm going to just get started. I'm going to grab some garlic parm. So, okay.
I like the garlic parm is a very like full savory. The other, like the, the honey barbecue's got your
sweet. Like this is your ultimate savory here buttery and savory
nothing better than washing it down with a crisp zero too you know what i mean oh yeah a little coke zero action now that's a spicy buffalo that's tremendous i think that's kind of the perfect
that might be my favorite this is the parmesan garlic and this one i haven't tried yet which
one's a little bit hotter parmesan garlic oh this is spicy yeah't tried yet. Which one? It's a little bit hotter. Parmesan garlic. Oh, this is spicy. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. It's pretty damn good. See this.
I keep changing my favorite. I think that's the point of this exercise. Yes. That's my favorite
one. I could put down 32 ounces of Coke Zero and be like, where's the next 32? Well, and hey,
free refills in the restaurant. So Wendy's new saucy nugs, take the crispy and spicy nugs
you love and turn them up to 11.
Choose between flavors like buffalo, honey barbecue,
garlic parm, or if you're a real heat seeker,
the spicy ghost pepper only on Wendy's signature spicy nugs.
I dare you.
That's seven delicious ways to try the nugs you already love.
Take a flavor, grab some extra napkins,
and prepare to nugoug. I've never nouged before.
Ari, the non-ballin'-overs are out because we're talking about Colorado.
You ready? Hey, hey, hey, why is Travis Hunter even considered a Heisman favorite? He's mid in
all positions, doesn't even run proper route trees, plays backyard football with Sanders,
he doesn't even play man to man. What NFL team are you a scout for? Hey,
because see the people who actually work for NFL teams would draft him in the
first round as a corner and probably would draft him in the first round as a
receiver. And they get paid for that. So I don't know what to tell you.
So I don't know what to tell you. Like it's such a non ball-nower thing to do to be like, well, he just stinks.
Like, no, no, he's, he's quite good at both of those things.
He's actually one of the best country, both of them.
And the fact that he plays all those snaps is freaking incredible.
Yeah. So I was in the Hunter. plays all those snaps is freaking incredible.
Yeah.
So I was in the Hunter.
I get into this Hunter debate online every week and I just need to stop.
Um, and I don't know what it is, but so let's just play.
We got to go down the road.
Do you think that Travis Hunter should or could win the Thorpe award?
Yes. Because there's this notion that he can't win the Thorpe award? Yes.
Because there's this notion that he can't win the Thorpe and he can't win the
bullet in a cough.
Um, so I think it's going to be harder for him to win the bullet in a cough
because I don't think his receiver numbers are, are quite good enough.
But, but I think that people think that the person who wins the Heisman should be a finalist in the one of the position awards, and I keep hearing this and I
don't know if it's like a trend or the people.
It's just it's just idiotic.
It's people who don't like Dion Sanders, who would like to take it out on Travis
Hunter, who's the best football player in America, and it's not close
You should go you should go see like I tweeted after he scored that rushing touchdown
Does anybody out there still think that Travis Hunter can't win the Heisman and the response?
responses to that are he's mid on both sides there's like 25 people who said he's met like
Who are these people? Like, they're stupid. I don't
know. I'm not like, they don't like Deion Sanders. So they
don't want Travis Hunter to win the Heisman. That's it. But I
don't even know how you how you could not like Travis Hunter.
Like that's the thing with Travis Hunter. He's extremely
likable. And he's so fun to watch play. So if you
don't, if you like watch, if you actually like watch Colorado
play football and like not just, you know, the highlights you
see on Sports Center. Like if you sit down and watch them
play, I don't know how a human being could watch them play and
think that that like Hunter isn't a transcendent talent.
Like I just don't know what they're looking at.
So, you know, I think that the problem is, is that he does not have
statistics on at either position.
Well, and people who don't understand football have a really hard time
with players who play positions that don't have tons of statistics,
like corners, good corners do not put up a lot of stats because this is.
Teams don't throw with them.
This is the other thing too.
Andy here, Zach, he wouldn't be a Heisman finalist if he didn't
play both ways though.
No shit, Zach. Well he does and nobody else does it
like this and it's just like people like I guess we're just
handing out an award for Stanema because he plays a lot and it's just like people like I guess we're just handing out an award for
Stanema because he plays a lot and it's like.
I just I the greatest stamina ever.
Yes, that is its skill like.
Who cares if he wouldn't win it if he only played one way he's winning it
because he plays both.
What I mean is he had one leg he wouldn't be a little reason he's winning it.
He has two legs.
Like, I don't know what we're doing here.
So it makes me want to vote for him in all three of my picks.
All three of the top.
Just to stick it to these people,
because they're so annoying.
They are so annoying.
Like, I get it.
You don't like Deion Sanders.
Get over it. And the funny thing Dion Sanders get over it in the way
How did it was that you and I have a completely different view of how to vote for the Heisman and we both have no
argument here like it's like it's so
obvious
Vance
Vance is two for two in the chat tonight
Stamina is important ask your partner
Damn right.
Lot of ladies out there will tell you. Stamina is the biggest. Stat.
I gotta I gotta boost my numbers up.
I'm not gonna lie. I get I get pretty tired.
Get any Heisman votes.
Yeah, no, I if if Stanema was a Heisman
trophy metric, I would probably be somewhere at the bottom of
the CFB stats, but we're working on it. We're working on
it. Alright, let's let's talk about the team because we did
talk about Travis Hunter. Another Heisman moment on the
fourth down catch, which was incredible acrobatic. He
actually didn't have his best game as a DBE gave up a
touchdown, but he also had an interception and yeah, he's good.
Whole teams good.
The team is playing better than anybody the Big 12 right now.
I get it.
Utah was was not what they were supposed to be this season.
Isaac Wilson, we didn't even know if he was going to play because he'd been sick
this week.
He was replacing Brandon Rose.
But Colorado was scoring touchdowns while Utah was scoring field goals.
Did you?
Utah had it like down to like 12 in the third quarter,
and then Colorado just started rolling.
It looked like for a minute there, they were going to back door it
for a minute there, then. Colorado started rolling, but Andy Colorado's last four wins
3427342341274924 was the thing that we joke about with the
Big 12.
That it's always a three and a half point spread.
And that every game is close.
You never who's gonna like by the way as we say this it's
1010 in the BYU Kansas game in the third. I got it up. I'm watching it over here.
Um, electricity over there. Kansas is playing well. Um, color. This is a match
game. I expected. I thought this would be a shootout. Yeah. And I think that
Colorado is just ascending at the right time and they're getting hot and
they're feeling good about themselves. Hunter's healthy.
Chidor's playing well.
Leggiante Wester is one of the five most underrated players in college football, in my opinion,
in terms of just like how much we speak about him.
And it's just unfortunate because he's on a team with two very big names.
But if you watch Colorado play, he is constantly making game altering plays for them. Their defensive line gets after you.
I just think that Colorado is a really good all-around football team.
So, that's the one he had a he had a touchdown late in the game.
Like this is the freshman who has kind of like the Devo Samuel role.
I'm telling you, they're coming on and.
They they are in control of their destiny. Like remember they had that loss to can.
There there one loss in Big 12
competition is Kansas State.
Kansas State lost Arizona State took
its third conference loss so like
Colorado's even got the cushion now.
Yeah, and really for all you Heisman lovers out there, the
only game that Colorado lost in Big 12 play was a game in which
Travis Hunter left in the second half of injury.
Yeah, they were in the game very much when he got hurt.
And they were in the game after he got hurt, but I think they
would have wanted had he not gotten hurt. So yeah, no, like Colorado, I put in my field last week on Bubblewatch as the 4 seed and I will continue to do so.
I think Colorado will win the regular season finale. And I think that watching this BYU team right now,
Colorado's got two more games I should say. Sorry, they're playing at Kansas.
They've got Kansas and Oklahoma State.
It's gonna be tricky.
I think everybody is expecting that to be where they slip. So I'm gonna be locked in for that
That's one of the games of the week next week
Well, here's the thing if can't and again this games going on right now if Kansas wins in Provo
It sets up the pure letdown spot with Kansas in Colorado
Although Kansas at that point would be one of the hottest teams in the big 12 because they would have beaten Iowa State and BYU two weeks in a row.
So I don't think there's been a better grade in six team I've ever seen.
Like this team's a really good football team. They just had a rough go of it.
Brooklyn Floyd. Very funny.
The PPI in this chat is mentally ill.
Travis Hunter wouldn't be Travis Hunter if he didn't do Travis Hunter things. Right? Exactly. Exactly. I, this team is playing really well. They control their
destiny to get to the big 12 championship game. Will they win the big 12 championship
game? I don't know. It's a one game proposition, but they will be in, if they take care of
business and really they
might just have to do it next week or the following week because again, that case date
loss now Arizona state being a two loss team in big 12 play is interesting. So we'll see
what happens there.
Uh, and I think Colorado is in good shape to make the title game. What does PPI mean?
I had to Google it and I found personal protective inhibitors,
personal producer, phrase index, position pulley, an idler.
I don't even, it's, it may be bad.
It may be a bad word.
So we probably shouldn't say it.
I didn't know what that meant.
So I just, I want to be cool with the lingo and I just don't know what that means.
He meant people as in PPL. Oh, producer river speaks chat. I didn't know what that meant, so I just I want to be cool with the lingo and I just don't know what he meant.
People as in PPL.
Oh, producer River speaks chat.
We don't we don't we don't know how to speak to chat people.
So you're telling me that it's not product production index.
OK, got it.
But to see what else you've been Googling lately.
But yeah, Colorado is in very good shape to make the Big 12 championship
game. Can we talk about Arizona State and Kenny Dillingham? Let's talk about them too.
I've been waiting.
Before the season, remember the story Deion got mad about, the CBS Sports Big 12 coaches rankings.
So Deion was the next to last. He was in the number 15 coach in the Big 12. Kenny Dillingham was ranked number 16. They might be the two best coaches in the Big 12 this year other than I think Kalani Satake. Satake has something to talk about, but.
They are two of the best three for sure, if not the best two.
They are two of the best three for sure. If not the best two.
Yeah, so I like want to do a victory lap
because when I was at the athletic,
I actually spoke to Kenny Dillingham
on the phone for a long time.
I know I gave you his phone number.
I remember. You did?
You didn't give me his phone number.
I did give you his phone number.
No, you did not. I could find the text.
Yeah, I could find the text where I shared the contact.
One of my good buddies that I grew up with in Phoenix,
like grew up with him too.
So I thought that he gave it to me.
Anyway, I wrote a column about how Kenny Dillingham
should be the hire because I loved everything
that he stood for and how he would build the program.
But like, I'm not gonna take a victory lap, Andy,
because I did not think it would look like this this fast.
Like, this isn't what we thought, right? In terms of, I thought that he would recruit well, he would do a very good job with Phoenix Relations
because he knows the city. He would be there for a long time. He wouldn't want to leave. I think he wants to live in
Scottsdale forever. Who wouldn't, if you've been there? I did not think he would be able to turn it into a team that
might be in the Big 12 championship this quickly. Like
how long ago is that? Was that two years ago? This is year
two, right? This is year two. Yeah, and and he took over a
pretty rough situation because remember, Herm Edwards had
been fired. They were under investigation. Everybody was
leaving. It was a it was a tough deal. Yeah, and I actually
had a battle this week and I think you kind of helped talk me through it.
But, you know, every week I've been doing a list for, on three, ranking or not ranking,
just listing the teams who I believe are still alive in the playoff hunt.
Right.
And I didn't have ASU on there two weeks ago.
And then I was doing it again, looking at everything this week. And I was at a crossroads
of like, Well, actually, technically ASU is right there. It seems wrong that they're not on there. So instead of
eliminating a teams, I added them. And I'm really happy I did that before this game, because they beat the crap. Beat
the crap out of Kansas State tonight.
So here's the deal with Arizona State as YJP points out in the
chat. They have a real path to the Big 12 title game. He says
BYU loses tonight. Arizona State beats BYU and then Kansas State
beats Iowa State. That is that is indeed the path and all of
that is plausible. BYU is in a fight right now with Kansas
and then BYU plays Arizona State in Tempe next week.
Yeah.
And the fact that they have the schedule
that helps them control their own destiny
to a certain extent is great.
And BYU is now on the edge of the red zone here,
trying to take a lead here on on Kansas. But yeah, Arizona State, you know, it's funny because we are talking about
whether or not this team could win the Big 12. And I think that just the fact that we're having this conversation alone is
just enough for me. Right.
Like we were like really entertained by Arizona State at the beginning of the year.
I remember we were watching an ASU game on a Friday night road trip somewhere.
But like now it's for real, you know, so we don't talk a lot about Arizona State and they
have proven
unequivocally that they deserve their block of time on this show.
Like they, they look incredible.
They've got, um, that running back.
Scatabot was just a really, really fun player to watch.
And one of the losses that they have, they didn't have Sam Levitt, right?
Like he was out with an injury with one of the two losses.
So like they have a pretty good thing going there in Tempe and kind of wish I was out on mill tonight because
that place gets rowdy. I've had some of the wildest nights of my life on that
street. Just so you know, I'm sure I well listen, they're in the little apple.
They can go to, uh, what does that call it? Collegeville? It's, they've got a
nice little bar district in Manhattan, Kansas. I'm sure they didn't do that. I'm sure they
got on the bus and went to the plane, but they went up 24
nothing at K State. You know how hard that is? That is not easy
to do. Yeah, and you know, Kansas State did a good job of
fighting back. That's the bar district and.
I've never been to Manhattan, Kansas before. I've heard it's a wonderful place, so I can't say
unequivocally. What I'm about to say, but I'm going to say pretty sternly with my chest. I think I'd rather be an
MP tonight.
That's fine. I'll allow it. I'll allow it. I've been to both and I think it's pretty easy.
I'll allow it. I have been to both and I think it's pretty easy.
Well, Ari, I'm excited to see Arizona State BYU.
We don't yet know what will happen in BYU Kansas.
At the rate we're going, we may still be talking
when the game ends.
So we've got a lot to cover.
We gotta talk about Texas and Arkansas.
And whoa, in the chat says,
SEC fan, SEC games mean more.
Also SEC fan, Texas ain't played no one.
Texas, this is a game in Fayetteville today.
I thought when Quinn Ubers threw that wide open touchdown believes Matthew Golden who caught the first
touchdown pass. I was like, Oh, this is the Arkansas is going to
look just like they did against Ole Miss. No, no, no Arkansas.
Put up a nice fight.
They had the grass a little bit longer there in Fayetteville
today. I think to slow that were slowing down for people who
work out on on grass and turf. Like if
you run on grass, are you actually slower? Or is that just something funny people say?
No, it's true. Yeah, long grass is harder to run on the short grass.
So I'm going to say this about Texas's team. As somebody who has spent the first six weeks of
this season thinking they
were the best team in college football.
Their offense scares the shit out of me.
In a good way or a bad way?
Bad way.
Okay.
I don't think I'm loving what I'm seeing.
And I am thinking that what we saw in the Georgia game could repeat itself if and when they get in like I
I'm not confident they're going to be going into College Station and lighting up that scoreboard.
Yeah, the teams that have better pass rushes tend to
tend to frustrate them a bit. Like I was joking in the third quarter of the game. I'm like when's Arch coming in? Because like they were struggling a little bit.
They weren't scoring and like a bunch of Texas fans were like, uh,
hopefully on the next like everybody is just out on yeah, and I don't know if that's just
and I don't know if that is just a emotional reaction in the game because you're upset your team is losing
because you know how that goes. It's an anger, anger,
anger. Team won. Anybody who was angry when I was angry is an asshole. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, you know how that
cycle goes. Quinn Ewers just does not look like in sync and confident to me. And I don't know if I'm overthinking it, or
if I'm watching it through a different lens. I don't know what it is. But they suffered some
pretty tough situations with the running back injuries before the year, you know, and I think they've done a pretty
good job of masking that throughout, you know, the whole season. Their offensive line is supposed to be one of the best
in college football. And I think for the most part, they did pretty well against Arkansas, though there were times where I thought they were, they could have been better. But I can't get the offensive line, running back, shaky
quarterback play combination out of my head from the Georgia game. And I still kind of see remnants of what
happened in that Georgia game happening in the games that they have played since. So I don't know if you think I'm nuts.
No, I am at all.
But like there is a, I think there's a really serious path
to like stopping them from scoring.
And that scares me with them.
I would agree completely
because we've seen the inconsistency and it seems to be against
the same types of defenses and they're going to have to play one of those in College Station
and they're going to have to play a lot of those in the playoff no matter who they draw. Like they're
probably going to have to play that that whoever they get in the first round. Unless they win
the SEC, which again, if they go to the SEC Championship game, guess what they're gonna have to play? One of those
kinds of defenses.
Yeah. It's like, and the receivers, they have a lot of them. And they all kind of pop up at different times. Like
Isaiah Bond, do you know how many just, I know you haven't looked this up, so I'm going to ask you, how many
receptions do you think that Isaiah Bond has this year?
32.
26.
I knew it was a huge number. Was it Trey Harris numbers? Let's put it that way.
Yeah, like, I'm just like looking at the numbers right now. it's just not what you think it is so.
I don't want to be a downer.
I'm kind of like not sure they're going to be day and M.
I I think there's a very good chance that they and wins that
game, but I don't know. I mean, here's the thing. There's a
there's a version of Texas that can go in there and shred them.
Just like there's a version of Texas that can go in there and shred them.
Just like there's a version of Georgia
that we saw against Tennessee tonight,
it was very different than the version of Georgia
we saw against Ole Miss last week.
And that's the issue with all these teams.
I think we got so used to Nick Saban's teams
being so consistent, we're like,
oh yeah, if you're a national title contender,
you're just mowing down everybody
and it doesn't matter.
It's not like that anymore.
Everybody's inconsistent and it just depends
on what version you get that day.
But I think Texas is good enough to light up the scoreboard
against pretty good teams.
I don't know if they're good enough to light up scoreboards against the lead teams.
Yeah, I think that is the issue.
So against Arkansas, I don't know.
I'm curious to know how Arkansas fans feel now, cause there was a billboard.
That greeted everybody today.
Bait saying basically, thanks for the memory.
Sam Pittman is time to go. I don't think Sam Pittman, it's time to go.
I don't think Sam Pittman is going anywhere because also the way that his buyout structure,
he's won enough that he still gets owed 75% of what's left on the contract instead of
50%.
It's a significant amount more.
So I don't think he's going anywhere.
We found out today that Dave Aranda's not going anywhere because Baylor beat West Virginia
and they are bowl eligible
and they have improved dramatically year over year.
So again, I stand by my statement
that I don't think there's gonna be a lot of job openings
in the power conferences.
There are a bunch in the group of five.
I do not think there will be a bunch in the power.
I love how the sentiment on Sam Pittman changes every other week. It's like, Ah, he's gone. Oh, no, he's not leaving.
He, he, like, it's, it goes back and forth. But, you know, I thought he saved his job when they beat Tennessee, and now he, there's billboards up a month later about how he's got to go.
Like, I just, I can't even keep up with it. I feel like we've been talking about Sam Pittman being on the hot seat for three years now.
Let's talk about another coach that's on the hot seat.
And I don't think his fan base has forgiven him,
but his AD has.
Let's talk about the game I was at.
But first, we're gonna talk about Panini America.
This show is brought to you by Panini America,
the makers of the most collectible sports cards
on the planet, the Luminance football card series,
future NIL autographed cards from players
including Archman and Quinn Ubers, Kam Moore, Jalen Miro, Dylan Riley,
DJ Lague and Luther Burden.
To start collecting, visit PaniniAmerica.net.
We're actually gonna talk about DJ Lague right now.
I don't have a DJ Lague autograph yet.
I have a couple Luminance packs
that we're gonna rip this week.
There might be a DJ Lague auto in there.
Who knows?
I have pulled an Rodney Gatz in the second auto.
Got that one right here. Pulled that out of a Luminance Pack. Pulled a Michael Vick
shutter signatures the other day out of a Luminance Pack. And then another box that we've been looking at was the Select series.
And it was the 2023 edition of the Select series.
And I pulled this Pukinokua gold disco card and Ari freaked out.
Yeah, I mean, if you're not in the hobby, you don't know what you're looking at sometimes.
And I'm happy that you knew what you were looking at.
I mean, hitting a gold card out of a select product.
It's one of 10, one of 10.
Yeah.
Yeah, like if you're in the hobby,
you know what hitting gold is.
It's gold and they're numbered to 10.
And when you pull them out of a premium product like select,
that's a big deal, especially if it's a rookie
that people are excited about. Now,
you know, the thing that's interesting about the hobby, Andy, is, is that, you know, people go absolutely nuts for
rookies during the rookie year. And then when the following year comes out, then people start going nuts for the
next set of rookies that just came out. Because, you know, how sports are, everybody's, that's like the same reason why
people like recruiting.
Hey, Pook is's still good as I watch
BYU play. Pook is still good. Yeah, but like that is kind of
like send that to me. I put it under a microscope. We might
send that off to PSA to get graded and you hold on that for
a while or what? Let's just call it what it is. That's a four
figure card. So I don't know if you guys are into this, you
know, I want you to be but some of these cards are worth
thousands and thousands of dollars and Andy pulled a thousand dollar card out of a select age two bucks feeling pretty good about that feeling good about it.
I'm kind of resentful that Panini sent you that box and not me, but hey, you know what? We all can't win all the time.
Well, listen, I have I have a good feeling about these two lunas packs that we're gonna rip this week. So you want to get started collecting visit Paniniamerica.net. All right, let us talk about the game that I visited. I was at Florida LSU in Gainesville. It was
wild because it was a it was a fire everyone game. Like in the middle of the third quarter,
both fan bases wanted every person on the field fired. It was it was crazy there.
I posted a stat in the middle of the third quarter.
Lsu had just gone up 13 to 10 Ari and Lsu would run 60
plays in Florida to run 25 and this enraged the Florida
fans because they weren't, you know, they weren't running
more plays.
They were not, you know, staying on the field and then
this enraged the Lsu fans because they weren't putting up points
despite converting all these third downs and staying on the field.
I don't know why Florida would be enraged.
I thought they played hard out there.
The fan base still wants Billy Napier gone.
I think they're coming around on one of the reasons why Scott Strickland, the athletic director, said Billy Napier gone. I think they're coming around on one of the reasons why Scott
Strickland, the athletic director said Billy Napier staying is because it
definitely means that DJ Lagway is saying, if you heard DJ Lagway talk after
the game tonight, you further believe that they're kind of, I don't think
they're a package deal necessarily. But like, if you weren't going to get Lane
Kip and I don't think Florida was, then deal necessarily, but like if you weren't going to get lane kiff, and I don't think Florida was
then I Think you'd rather have DJ lag way and and Billy Napier
Then another coach who may not excite you and not DJ lag way
Because DJ lag way is special special like there is a play in that game Ari now remember he is not
He's not mobile today
Like he's he's he's very mobile normally, but he's got a he's got a hurt hamstring
So he's not moving like we know that LSU's kryptonite is designed quarterback runs
They didn't call a single one because he's not mobile like wit weeks the LSU linebacker goes. We knew he was on one leg out there
Still didn't get sacked like there was a there was a play where it's tied at 13,
both edges beat their guys.
So both edges are coming at T.J. Lague
like a pincer's movement.
And then one of the linebackers
is coming through the B gap on a blitz
and is about to hit him.
And basically he's wrapping his arms around Lague
as these two edges are closing in. Lagway just goes like flicks his
wrist 35 yards down the field to Elijah Badger. It was incredible.
I hit him in the face with the ball like it was perfect and it reminded me
because there was a signature player to during his high school times down there
at Willis where he jumped and threw the ball 70 yards like without his feet on the
ground. And it's just like, I know their offense isn't lighting up the scoreboard right now. But if you watch this kid play,
you see the elements of something really special. So, you know, I'm happy to hear that Mr. There's Always Another
Quarterback is kind of on the other side of this here. No, no, I listen.
It's taken a couple of times seeing DJ Legway in person. I have completely renounced that.
Protect number two at all costs.
That's the guy.
He's more important than the coach.
There's always another five star when the five star isn't playing well.
But when the five stars playing playing well or showing you that he's going to be a hit,
then there isn't
another quarterback.
You want to keep that because it's so hard to find that there's
not anybody else who can do what he does.
And I think he's doing it with talent that they can improve
upon because there will be people in the transfer portal
who want to play with him.
Yeah, I'm with you. I'm with you.
And also if they've got some.
Of that bio money laying around,
you know, maybe throw a few,
you know quarter right around.
Yeah, receivers edge rushers.
Probably interior D lineman,
maybe a couple offensive lineman,
but yeah it this this guy is he's special special and
That makes everything interesting like
Perhaps I think if he's not mobile next week against Ole Miss he's gonna struggle
Because Ole Miss is so good at rushing the passer
And I'm not expecting Florida to beat Ole Miss.
Listen, Florida isn't a poverty program.
So I'm not gonna pretend like their season's good.
Like I actually got an email from somebody about Florida
and this might actually be worth just reading right now.
Do you mind?
Cause it's about Florida. Go for it.
Yeah.
Yep.
This is from Josh Johnson.
Thank you so much for listening to the show, Josh and liking it
enough to at least reach out. If you guys want to talk to me and Andy, email us. We do appreciate you guys as loyalty and
you being here. Ari, I'm a massive Florida Gators fan and I definitely, I am definitely unreasonable, but there are a few
facts worth evaluating. One, the talent composites have Florida Gators as the top 20 talented roster.
Two, Florida is likely going to finish 5-7 or at best 6-6 and he sent this on Halloween.
Okay. Three, it's likely that all 6 or 7 losses will come against teams that finish in the top 15 or 20. Miami, Texas A&M, Georgia, Texas, LSU, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. They seem to be getting better each game.
They play hard and the young talent is starting to shine. I hear,
I hear people constantly saying that Florida state and Florida are dumpster
fires, but I'm actually very optimistic about next year.
If we can just pull out a couple of wins and gets bowl eligibility and add to our
roster, is it actually fair to act like the Gators are fully off the rails?
Thoughts?
Oh, I think that's completely fair.
I was actually surprised.
I thought there were more fans like Josh.
After the Georgia game.
And that was actually written to you before the Georgia game, but I thought
there were more fans like Josh and I had been told, hey, you
know, the decision, like the money people were out on Billy,
they're now back in. They don't think they're gonna get Lane.
There's a good chance they're gonna keep Billy. So I write
this column about, okay, what do you do if you're Florida? And
basically, you know, laid out a couple different paths. And one
was fire Billy Napier ones, keep him.
One is keep it.
Well, one is keep him and then throw a bunch of money into the portal and
actually buy players that are really good.
The next one is keep him, but do exactly what you've been doing in the portal,
which is nothing.
And I was really surprised that most of the people who responded to me and most of the people on the Gators online message board.
We're still in the fire billion apiure camp. I thought it would be more.
I don't know closer to 5050.
It was not even close to 5050, but there are people out there like Josh and Josh is not being unreasonable.
They have gotten better this year, significantly better. Like they
had seven sacks today against the LSU team. They'd only given up six the whole season.
Like Florida hadn't been rushing the passer well, but they have gotten better at their
at a couple different things that they really didn't do well at the beginning of the season.
And then you add in DJ Lagway. And yes, I'm with Josh that you should have some optimism.
Yeah, it's like the the push pool of the idea of, well, Florida got a lot better. And if
they finish six and six, it's a hell of a lot better of a finish than we thought it
would be after the Miami game. Right. But then on the other six, it's a hell of a lot better of a finish than we thought it would be after the Miami game.
Right. But then on the other hand, it's like Florida lost six games this year.
And I know they had a hard schedule, but like.
Right. And he's under 500 as a coach in three years at Florida.
And that's unacceptable. Again, not a poverty program.
So, you know, we are we are it's like it just depends on the type of person you are and how you want to look at
it. Like if you want to fire him, I think that the results for the first few years of his tenure there are unacceptable.
Well, on the other hand, Anthony asked me the question, what should Billy Napier's record be next year to keep his
job? I wrote this in the column when they when they said they were keeping him. It's playoff or bust. He makes the playoffs or you fire him. You give him the resources to actually compete in the
transfer portal and get some players and he either takes you to the playoff or you fire him.
That's it.
That's it. Yeah, cuz you. Is that is that is that unreasonable?
I think that it's not unreasonable because playoff or bus doesn't mean what it did last year.
Playoff bus is attending to and having a season like.
One of the five teams in the cluster we're talking about, which isn't amazing.
So like, we don't know what the schedule will be like because we don't know what Miami's quarterback situation will be.
We don't know what Ole Miss will look like because their roster will be radically reshaped.
But I think you can reasonably expect Georgia to be very good, Tennessee to be very good, Texas to be very good.
You know, I think LSU would be better.
Poor state can't get much worse.
So I, but, but I, am I, am I being unfair by saying that?
No, because I think 10 and two is reasonable.
I think by year four winning 10 games is like at Florida is reasonable.
The problem is that they play a very difficult schedule.
So like, I don't know if the difference between 10 and two
and nine and three is as huge of a gap
as keeping your job and losing it.
But at the same time, I also understand that if you say,
if you would have given Billy at the beginning
of his contract when he put his name in ink on that contract
saying, if you don't win 10 games at least once in your first four years, you're fired that he probably would have thought that was reasonable himself.
So, yeah, no, I'm with you. And to me, I think we will know by June, whether he's going to do it or not. I think that's the funniest part. It's like, I don't think that he's a terrible coach.
I think he's done a terrible job of upgrading his roster.
So we'll be able to tell if he's doing something different
before they play.
Yeah.
Now let's go to the other side of the coin.
So Brian Kelly didn't punch any tables in the press conference.
But this is not a good place. Punch any tables in the press conference
But this is this is not a good place so you you're already guaranteed he's gonna finish with his worst record at LSU
this season now
That's because he won The SEC West his first year. They won ten games last year
They're gonna lose they've lost four games that the
best they can do is nine wins.
They might lose to Vandy.
It's entirely possible like there were.
I was talking to the LSU beat writers
is waiting for Brian Kelly to show up
and they were talking about well,
how many empty seats are going to
be in Tiger Stadium for this
Vandy game that LSU might lose?
Yeah, no, the bottom fell out there pretty good. And I'll give you a stat.
So they were up 17 to seven in the third quarter at Texas A&M.
They have been outscored 100 to 35 since then.
They have been outscored 100 to 35 since then.
And during that span, the onslaught of scoring was coming against the most important team on your schedule and the team
that your fans compare your program to.
Mm hmm, yep, and Brian Kelly said something interesting today
because he was he was asking his SID, Michael Bonnet, about the stats.
And he's like, what was the time of possession?
And Michael says it was 41 minutes and 43 seconds.
And Kelly's just like, he knew it was a lot,
but I don't think he realized it was that much.
And he's just like, how do you look?
And then he says, which is a good quote and also true there
are no pats on the back for holding the ball longer you have to score there are no pats on the
back for winning the sec west at lsu there are no pats on the back for coaching a heisman trophy
winner at lsu you you have to win the national title or they're not happy with you. And the fact that
they're regressing in your three. I don't like where this relationship is headed.
Yeah, there was a pretty crazy play in this Kansas BYU game. BYU punted in the ball hit
the back of a Kansas blocker and bounced off of a BYU player.
And then Kansas landed on it inside the tent, which could have lost them the game.
So it was pretty crazy.
Yeah. It looked like BYU was going to get it.
And then and then the Kansas pair player slid in and got it.
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
His shoulder pad and bounce backward. OK.
Yeah, I was kind of,
I mean, I think we knew that LSU wasn't great all year. You know,
I didn't know that we would get to this point where they're like,
we're talking about empty seats against Vanderbilt,
but I am very interested in the
temperament of the fan base in terms of how they feel about him heading into next year.
Like I thought morale was probably pretty good a month ago.
I bet you morale is pretty down right now.
You've also got the Bryce Underwood part of it because remember Bryce Underwood
post on Instagram on Friday that he's probably going to turn down Michigan.
Which sounds like I'm coming to LSU that he's sticking with LSU and Bryce Underwood.
For those who don't know,
is the number one quarterback
recruiting class of 2025.
So I think that's.
That's one thing to watch,
but it sounds like he's pretty.
Pretty solid there and I do wonder like so
Brian Kelly is talking about doing more on offense.
He fired the whole defensive staff last year,
so he's not like Blake Bakers. Fine that groups fine. If I were Joe Sloan, So Brian Kelly's talking about doing more on offense. He fired the whole defensive staff last year.
So he's not like Blake Baker's fine.
That group's fine.
If I were Joe Sloan, I'd be watching my back.
But he's also fairly important
to the recruitment of Bryce Underwood.
So I'm very curious to see how this goes,
how the whole recruiting class shapes up.
It's looking very good,
but you have situations like DJ Pickett, who's
one of their cornerback recruits. He was at Georgia today. Does that mean he's going to
look at Georgia seriously? Consider it? I don't know. But that's a six foot four corner
who's really fast, who if he goes to LSU
That's the kind of corner used to LSU having and they don't have him right now
Yep tall all valid Andy all valid so yeah, I I
I'm fascinated by that situation because it's an unreasonable expectation
But when the last three guys won the national title, it's really hard to say it's it's unreasonable.
At DJ Pickett, the type of recruit that should be going to
Florida.
Well, now, he's got family to play to Miami and Ohio State.
So it's not like he's a legacy. He's he's from Zephyrhills. I
would I I know way too much about this because I used to
cover high schools in Pasco County.
So the Pickett family is very famous there in Zephyrhills Bulldog lore.
So I wouldn't be surprised if he goes where he thinks is just best for him because he's got.
Also a recruit that should be going to Miami or Florida State.
Yeah, he's got multiple uncles who played one who played at Miami, one who played at Ohio State,
you know, telling him hey, and they both play in the NFL
and say, hey, you know, you make the best decision for you
playing the defense that helps you the best, that puts you
in the best position to go to the league.
Like that's they're not they're not worried about how close
to home it is.
Yep. So all so alright, alright.
Let's talk about the what happened in
Columbia, South Carolina.
Involving two teams from Columbia.
Because Missouri had this game one.
And then they didn't.
Yeah, Luther Burden caught a touchdown.
I think with like a minute and 20 seconds left or something like that, and Missouri ahead.
And then that was like, like for that, like five minute period.
I was like, Oh, no, what do we do with Mizzou in the playoff discussion tonight?
Like, that's like what I was like, you know, Eli Drinkwitz last week said, Oh, we won.
We're in the playoff.
And then South Carolina drove down the field and took the lead and then won the game like five minutes later.
Like there was like a four minute period of like Brady Cooks back.
Mizzou's back you for you.
And then South Carolina won the game.
And five real time minutes because it was like 45 real time.
And yeah, yeah, no, it was like, holy shit.
I cannot believe Luther Burden just did that.
Oh, my God, they lost.
I was like in about to take or give my daughter a bath.
And I had the iPad up. And even she was like, I can't believe they blew it. She's three. Like she's like, what are we doing?
Daddy, daddy, what is that?
they would have had Cook, you know, all year and they would have found themselves, but it just doesn't seem like they
ever really clicked. And that would have been a really important win for them, would have kept them in the discourse. And this just kind of just drops them off into obscurity. But I think that the real story here is South Carolina and how well
they're playing right now.
how well they're playing right now.
But North South has had five- I don't think they've played that well
for most of this game.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah.
Yeah, but like I'm saying,
collectively speaking, to win that game
and win it in the fashion in which they've done,
like we are two minutes of game time away from,
in the Alabama game, from them being in cluster in Alabama, not being in it.
Yeah, exactly, exactly. So.
Unfortunately, there will be teams like this that that get hot
at the end of the season, wind up nine and three and don't get
it now. They're going to be other years, I think, because
it's all going to be different every year. There's probably
going to be other years where a team like this.
Gets in because there aren't a bunch of 10 and two and 11 to one teams.
And they are the hottest team in the country at the end of the season. And people are like,
well, that's the one nobody wants to play. So let's put them in the playoff.
I just don't think there's going to be room this year, but I'm excited about South Carolina
Clemson game, especially after the way, let's actually let's talk Clemson
because that game was wild too.
I thought Clemson was cooked.
Pittsburgh kicks field goal with a minute 36 to go.
Ben Saul sits a 47 yarder.
And then crazy legs Clubnik
with a 50 yard run to win the game.
Yeah, so they just need Miami to lose, right?
Because that's some you can lose.
You need Miami to lose.
They are Clemson is done in ACC play.
They're seven and one in ACC play.
They cannot win more or lose more.
They're just waiting.
They play Wofford and then they play or no.
Who do they play next that maybe South Carolina
plays Wofford next, but Clemson in South Carolina play the last game of the season?
Clemson
Needs Miami to lose
One of the next two games. Oh Clemson has Citadel and then and then they play South Carolina. So everybody's everybody's keeping it in state
but yeah, this was just a gut punch for Pitt which
Nate Yarnell played great in place.
Eli Holstein.
Yeah, Clemson.
Is exactly what we thought they would be,
maybe a 10 and two team, though I don't think they're going to beat South Carolina.
And Miami. they're going to beat South Carolina. Um, and Miami, Oh, Miami lost away from potentially playing for the ACC
championship game and maybe trying to still get in, but like great gutsy
win, but not great overall to me.
Like I don't, I didn't, I watched part of this game and I was just like,
Oh, you, it does not give you any confidence that they're going to beat
South Carolina or really a lot of confidence that they'd beat SMU if they ended up playing them
in the in the ACC Championship game. And we can talk about SMU as well because they actually got
challenged. Boston College, which had a really nice win against Syracuse last week, they switched
quarterbacks. Grayson James was the starting and then Thomas Castellanos actually left the team when Bill O'Brien
changed quarterbacks. He's going to transfer portal.
BC went into Dallas and gave SMU hell for a little while, but
SMU just kept right on scoring like Kevin Jennings is is is fun.
He is very fun to watch. I thought it was really peculiar
what happened with Preston stone at the
beginning of the year,
cause he had a really good year last year and he just assumed he was their
starter. And then Kevin Jennings kind of looked rough at the beginning,
but he's really settled into himself and they've gotten a lot better. Now,
Miami has a two games left on their schedule, one against Wake Force,
one against Syracuse. And I think that SMU is...
I don't want to say this if I'm wrong. Is SMU in
already or do they have to win? No, they're only 6-0 right now in conference play. They have to
at least win one more game. They have to win one more game. Okay, so they have
a road trip at Virginia next week and then Cal at home
on November 30th. So they're not in
yet, but it seems like a pretty safe bet to say that they'd probably go one and one in that stretch. And frankly speaking, all
they have to do is go one and one because they're a win the conference and get in or don't win the conference and get out
So, um, yeah, SMU was in a pretty tight one there, but you know, it's, uh, I did a lot of SMU column angrily writing about them this week.
And it's like, the coolest thing about being an SMU fan right now is that you
don't even have to concern yourself.
It could be ranked a hundredth that they control their destiny and they just
have to win one of the next two games.
They have to go to go two out of the next three.
That's all.
Well, Ari, we've tried to stress this show out, but BYU in Kansas are just playing too slow.
So here's what we're going to do. I'll make you make y'all a deal.
If if if if BYU beats Kansas, there will be a video on the on three sports YouTube channel.
With us talking about BYU taking its first loss.
In the morning when you wake up.
Is that a fair fair deal?
Does that sound good Ari?
Fair deal.
All right.
All right.
So we got that.
Well before Boise State, we don't have to talk
much about Boise State. They were tied at 21 for a second. Everybody was scared. And
then all of a sudden they were not tied anymore.
Yeah. Ash Gentile, I think, carried it 31 times for 159 yards and three touchdowns and
kept rocking the stats and they won fairly easily.
So it looked like for a minute there that they were in danger.
Uh, Louisiana lost tonight, Andy, which I think was an important thing.
Cause that was their first loss in conference play.
Um, what else happened on the G five?
Tulane crushed Tulane Navy 35 to nothing to lane and army are your matchup is your matchup for the American Conference Championship game?
I don't think we know where yet. I think that will depend on
On I'm not exactly sure. I mean army still got to win another game
I think Tulane has another conference game as well. So
Yeah, Washington State's losing to New Mexico right now with five seconds left
and they're down three and they're at the 50.
So I don't know if they're going to be able to get into field goal range and then kick one.
So I don't know that they were ever in the playoff discussion, but that was a eight
and one team in the, in the quasi group of five.
They're not in a group of five conference, but they're out there.
No man's land.
Yeah.
I think it's significant if
you're paying attention to that sort of thing. Yeah. And if
they lose to New Mexico, it just proves they didn't belong
in conversation anyway. But yeah, yeah. But I think
army Notre Dame. No, one more USC beat Nebraska. Oh yeah.
Holgerston did not automatically fix Nebraska's offense. J Jane Myava comes in for us. I don't think
Jade Myava played the greatest game. He threw a pick six but
he settled down and and you know they look pretty good on
offense. Yeah, I I thought it was pretty good and you know
Nebraska's not a very explosive team they had more than
three or four opportunities to go take control that game there was a pretty
egregious hold in the end zone there at the end but that was kind of like a
quasi was that like a 24 yard play at the last second there for that Nebraska
tried to tie the game up and you know I think that that was a nice win for USC
and like Nebraska's in the danger zone of not making a bowl game again and you know, I think that that was a nice win for USC and like Nebraska's in
the danger zone of not making a bowl game again. So, um, you know, we'll have to ask
is Nebraska going to make a bowl. So they've got to be one of Wisconsin or Iowa to do it.
That is, I mean, it's, it's no guarantee based on what we've seen so far. So I don't know. I don't know the answer to that.
See, that's the thing.
We talked about this on the show this week, Ari.
I know the playoff generates a lot of interest
and clicks and views and everything,
but I am just as interested in some of these stories like Nebraska trying to make a bowl game.
I'm with you. I'm with you. And it was a I watched the whole game so I don't know
if there were a lot of people out there that were watching this whole game if
they weren't a Nebraska or USC fan and it just when you watch Nebraska play you
kind of feel like.
There's just like dark cloud hanging over them. I don't know. I can't explain it.
It's like it's a one possession game.
They're good enough to do it.
What are they going to do to not do it?
You know, and I read a stat somewhere that they're like,
I don't want to make up the numbers because I can't remember the numbers,
but they egregiously bad in the last three years in one possession games and we knew
that coming into this, but it was just another example of
them coming up short in a game that they could have won on
the road. So Ari.
USC has to beat UCLA to get bowl eligible, because I don't.
I don't think they're going to beat Notre Dame. Maybe they
will, but I don't think they're going to Notre Dame. By the
way, crushed Virginia today. Notre Dame is in good position.
They're going to play Army next week.
That's going to be very hyped.
I don't know what's going to happen.
It might look just like Notre Dame Navy did.
You know it's going to happen.
I don't know.
I want it to be good, Ari.
I want it to be interesting.
It's Notre Dame Army at Yankee Stadium.
Come on.
Yeah, well, hopefully unlike another game at a baseball stadium on Saturday where there
was a crazy touchdown catch that you couldn't see because the camera angle got the back
of a bunch of fans necks. I hope that they figure out how to broadcast that properly
but yeah I know it's gonna be good. I thought this was a non shocking week. BYU just picked off Kansas
around midfield with eight minutes left with four point deficits.
Kansas up there. Four.
Back in this game.
Yeah.
Yeah. So yeah, again, if BYU loses, there will be a video on the On3 Sports YouTube
channel when you wake up talking about them taking their first loss
Ari what a week
This next week is going to be
Spectacular because not just because we've got Indiana, Ohio State, which is gonna be the game. I think everybody's pointing toward I
Think Colorado Kansas is gonna be fun. I think they going to be some results that blow our minds next week. Next, that's the week where it sneaks up on you and you're like, I didn't see this game coming.
We're going to get something that blows our mind next week.
Can't wait. Can't wait.
We will talk to you guys on Sunday on the On3Force YouTube channel and on Monday the
PIC Show, 930 a.m. Eastern Time.
No word of else.
