Starting point is 00:00:01 and we're live Nick Gerlock's World Savan podcast Yes I'm Andy Frasco as co-host I told you I'm going to slowly take this bitch over
Starting point is 00:00:12 and then like in a year it's just going to be me doing the podcast and you getting on once a month it was like instead of mutiny
Starting point is 00:00:19 it's just like I just don't care anymore reverse mutiny no it wasn't like dying hard at all mutiny I thought the fans
Starting point is 00:00:27 are going to be like you know like actually we kind of like Nick it's It's fine. Everybody thinks I, like, die-hearted you and, like, climbed through the ducks, and, no, you just got bored. No, you just got, like, eight guys in his band.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Yeah, I got, yeah. Death is weird, man. It really fucking slows everything up. Everybody's dying. I'm just really sick. Have you dealt with death before? Yeah, like, that week of Westby, one of my best friends in Indy died, remember? Oh, fuck.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Like four days before that. No Yeah Sleepy's wife Remember? Oh no I did I was so absorbed I told you Well yeah but that's fine
Starting point is 00:01:10 You have So how I don't want to get into the details I don't really want to get It's not really my place To talk about it You know what I'm saying And I also don't really know
Starting point is 00:01:18 But it was very sudden Let's put it that way Yeah But you know She has two kids and a fucking That was brutal That was a brutal week That was Monday and Friday
Starting point is 00:01:26 That week And then Dolly Park Really you know When someone dies that close to you it really slows everything the fuck down. And I... It does. Had that epiphany of like, why am I working so hard?
Starting point is 00:01:40 Mm-hmm. If one day it'll just die, you know? Dude, fucks you up, doesn't it? And then Dolly Parton dies and then fucking... I mean, that wasn't as sad, but... Then the homie from Hook died, too. Tim Curry? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Yeah, he had been sick for a while. Yeah, death is stupid. Especially sudden death. Because Westby was also like completely sudden, right? Yeah, like I wasn't, I saw him the week before at Cooney's Lakehouse. Mm-hmm. Yeah, and what fucked me up was, you know, I was kind of not present at that whole weekend. I was like dealing with like drama with my.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Everything. My management team and just feeling burnt out. Recurring thing. And yeah, I got that all squared away. We're all good now. Shout out to regime. Shout out regime. Shout out regime.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Way to do. But, you know, it's more of, you know, I didn't give them enough present time. So I kind of like was hitting, punching myself in the head about that of a, you know, I was so absorbed to my own fucking shit. The thing with him is he doesn't really need that anyway. he is the present time and also you can't really beat yourself over stuff over stuff like that. It's like completely random.
Starting point is 00:03:09 It made me realize all the times I've just been absorbed on my phone and not being present, you know? That phone is... That phone is dangerous. It's also a good escape. It's weird. Yeah. So I went on a hiatus.
Starting point is 00:03:28 I went on a fucking bender. You did? Yeah, I didn't talk to you for like a, I didn't talk to you for like a, dude, I went, I went on a fucking depression bender. Yeah, I kind of noticed that, so I just like, didn't talk to you. I like, it changed my whole course of fucking, I'd just be, you know, I'd stay up till 6 a.m. And then, and then be asleep till 3 p.m. Yeah, that's the thing on tours.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Like, time doesn't really exist anyway. So it's like, it's not like staying until 6 a.m. am's like bad because you're like gonna be a it's like kind of part of it it's weird you get like it's never never it's not bad it's not bad if you don't have another job like the world saving podcast then you have interviews with nick you're just canceling because you're being a fucking idiot you know i'm down in the cold room to scoop and coal into the fire out there in the cold room i'm out here talking with 80 beats about how much we love each other at fucking 7 a.m yeah i'm like in the guys i'm like the guys in the bottom of those titans i'm like in the guys on the bottom of
Starting point is 00:04:29 panic, just like scooping shit in there. Here's Nick and Mike Gaineser, everybody. Yeah, so, you know, that's what I'm going on. And then I moved to New York, so now I'm like here. Yeah, I know. What's in your house right now? Are you going to bring your car out there? Are you going to take your car out there?
Starting point is 00:04:52 What are you going to do about that? Well, I'm going to stay. I'm going to still live in Denver, too. Okay. I got to figure out the car situation. Well, you're not going to go over on the... I'll just give it to you. I might borrow it sometimes, actually, if I need it for a game.
Starting point is 00:05:04 I honestly take it. It's sitting there, and I'm so pissed off. This is like the thing, the one thing, like, I'm pissed off about spending money on was that fucking BMW. Yeah, those are expensive. My car worked perfectly fine. It was a gluttonous fucking, it was total gluttony. That's a pretty good deal, though.
Starting point is 00:05:24 At least it's a lease, so you're not like fucked. Yeah, but, you know, it's total gluttonous. I'm not here. I mean, like, I'm never there. Well, you know, you're not going to go over, you're not going to go over on the mileage. Right. So that should take a little jupe part of your brain in the back there.
Starting point is 00:05:42 It's like, yeah, I'm not even, it's just in there and just like collecting. I might go, I might borrow it next Saturday for a gig, actually. Whenever you need. Whatever you need, Nick. Yeah. Ah!
Starting point is 00:05:56 Ah! Yeah. I was like, oh, God. That's so funny. But other than that, I mean, the band, this is like... It looks like the band's crushing on a positive note. It is unbelievable. And, you know, we had to let go of Bo.
Starting point is 00:06:15 I told you that, right? Yeah, yeah. But you kind of announced that at that Leavitt show, didn't you? Yeah. Like on the mic even. We have this new tour manager, Mr. Pat, who is the most hippie dude on the fucking planet. And it's like you would fucking crawl out of your skin a little bit. And so at midnight or at one bus call is everyone has to take turns of saying what they liked about each other.
Starting point is 00:06:43 Every day? Yeah. You have to like every, you have to like, what do you do by day eight? You just repeat stuff? Well, you know, it's like what we saw, what we liked about. You don't have to always say, but like you say like, I like to give flowers to my. Ganser for Oh, you don't have to go for each person.
Starting point is 00:07:04 No. It's like a game ball. But it made us all love each other more. But you would have fucking hated that, dude. You would have fucking hated that. I was thinking about you, Gerlock. I'm like, yeah, I'm giving flowers to like,
Starting point is 00:07:17 I really appreciate you guys giving me the respect of not talking to anyone for a day. And you're like, you'll be like, pussy! I really hate. Pat for making me do this. Yeah. Okay, it's like a game ball. I think that's why the music's sounding the best it is,
Starting point is 00:07:38 because we're, we like each other, you know? Are you going to Secret Dreams? Is that this week? No, what is it? We're doing fucking shoe fest. Oh, that's in like Illinois, like outside Chicago. Yeah. I played that one a while back.
Starting point is 00:07:53 It's still going, huh? Old shoe. They were a jam band from Chicago. Who is old shoe? I don't even know who that is. They were like a jam band, like, basically kind of just played around Chicago and Summer Camp for years. Then they, like, his name's Joe Day, the guy that runs it. I don't know him super well, but then they started this festival.
Starting point is 00:08:09 I think that's kind of all they do now. Kind of like how the Magic Beans are doing Beanstalk, but they're not really a band anymore. Oh, yeah. Isn't like Scott Hatchy, a manager or something now? I think he's managing some bands, like Squeaky Feet, maybe. Oh, really? I like Squeaky Feet. Yeah, they're fun guys.
Starting point is 00:08:27 They're funny dudes. They came to one of my trivias a couple weeks ago. Isn't it crazy? Everyone who, like, in a band becomes a band manager? The hunters becomes a hunter. Everybody becomes an
Starting point is 00:08:42 apex predator after a while. Yeah, they're like, fuck split in the dough before, you know, expenses. I'm just going to take 15% so you guys could bite off the bone. Yeah, no shit, dude.
Starting point is 00:09:00 It's not a bad business model. It's like... He kind of earned it though by being in a band. It's like when Willie Wonka gets out of the house. What? He kind of earned it by being in a band for 15 years, though, I guess. You're in the right to be a manager. Well, that's what every manager says, right?
Starting point is 00:09:16 That's what every manager says. I was an abandoned college. Sublime cover or something. Oh, man. You see Goose got arrested? What's going on? I've been kind of laying low, honestly. They didn't get arrested.
Starting point is 00:09:31 no though guy did the guy's house it is they get he's got a court date i did some research so it's real i like really well so hold on so brushing the cop off to be fair it was boulder cops we're not talking about we're not talking about that that goose residency in uh denver remind me of the chapelle show dylon dylon dylan dylan dylan dion dylan dude dude they played two nights at red rocks shows they put two nights at red rocks left and came back and played it again. They did three nights at Red Rocks? They did two nights, went to Salt Lake City,
Starting point is 00:10:08 came back, did the Michiwaka, and then Red Rocks again. I think maybe Dylan. Boller. And I think they sold out, and Dave Matthews was in town the same weekend. There's got to be some cross-over. Yeah, and someone else was in town too. Oh, Garth Brooks is in town. You hear about this?
Starting point is 00:10:23 He's in town right now, right? Why, what's... It's playing the Grizzly Rose today. Oh, my God. People are going to die. I know. they got it got leaked that's insane there's people waiting there's like a mile line wait right now
Starting point is 00:10:38 over there the 90s are so back dude actually he never left to be the 90s are really bad but didn't he like wasn't he like a serial killer no that's like a joke I think from another podcast I can't remember which one I think Tom Sigura that's because he is weird
Starting point is 00:10:52 he's like a sociopath he's like in a nice way he's like just very just socially awkward guy like there's a funny video of him like when he first started on Facebook, being like, I just want to join the conversation with you guys. And like, let's get active.
Starting point is 00:11:07 He's just very, like, weird. It's weird. He also wrote a song about cheating on his wife and made millions of dollars on it. You got to monetize your failures. And didn't he stick around? No, he's married to Tricia Yearwood now, right? Oh.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Did you say they're going to name the National Airport after Dolly Parton? I love that. You know, let's talk about Dolly Parton. second. I realize she's like the last idea, old school idea of the American dream. Yeah. And just like
Starting point is 00:11:42 I was saying at Trivia that she is the celebrity with the highest approval rating of any American, I think. I agree. I didn't realize when I saw, you know, I grew up in L.A. where Dolly wasn't God per se, but she was
Starting point is 00:11:58 famous. But then when she passed away, I'm like, holy shit. Like, she is she is saint like you know she's like mother Teresa so I started looking into her shit just an incredible songwriter like have you ever like dug into her like
Starting point is 00:12:13 actually sit down unbelievable her old shit is just so banging and her she has an all-time Christmas album with Kenny Rogers I was trying to think of like who now that she's gone and Tim Perry like even those old videos even those old videos of her
Starting point is 00:12:29 fucking playing guitar she's writing all those fucking songs dude Dude, she's a badass guitar player. She's like just like one of the most talented people ever to live. Usually people that talented aren't that lifeable. And what an amazing businesswoman too. Yeah. And charity.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Philatropus. Hey, Google. Hey, uh, Jack or Nick, Google what every business, um, every business dolly partner has done. Okay. Everything she's been a part of through her entrepreneurship. Slow it down. I can hit you typing. Okay, cool. That's because I have a separate keyboard. Okay, she had a theme park, a hotel in Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:13:14 Oh, it just opened. Or it's about to open. Some investment company, entertainment company, a wine bar, a travel stop. Obviously, Dollywood, like I said. She has her publishing company, two publishing companies, actually. a television production company that she's had since 1985 a studio in Nashville called Fireside Studios her own record label dolly wines
Starting point is 00:13:41 cosmetics line pet apparel line and just a bunch of collaborations with other businesses isn't that fucking crazy she rich rich what a bad I gotta clap it up for dying what a bad bitch 80 she'd be 80 I mean her husband just died you know she was married to the same guy for like 60 60 years right what was named
Starting point is 00:14:04 Carl Dean Dean Carl Dean Carl Dean Carl Dean and he like What did he do? Dolly Parton's husband Look him up what do you do? He like he like uh Hold on I think he was just like a guy He uh... asphalt paving company
Starting point is 00:14:28 He just was like a That's what even she didn't didn't even give a fuck about the celebrity. She just liked the person. Dude, Dolly? What a fucking bad bitch, dude. I guess she could, like, go out, like, without all her makeup on them. People wouldn't know who she was. Probably.
Starting point is 00:14:47 But, like, her husband, like, hated the same part. I guess she has red hair. That's her, that's a wig. Well, it's definitely a wig. You ever see that joke? She always said, that's a wig. Oh, for sure. Some lady asked her, like, how long's it take you to do your hair? And she goes, I don't know. I'm never there. I don't take you to get your hair.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Yeah, yeah. Because she's like, it's a wig. So, like, they're doing it without her. So who do you think of the celebrities there, like the high approval rating? Who has super high approval rating celebrities right now, now that Dolly Parton's gone? Keanu Reeves? I don't know. People love Keanu. No, he's got some bad stuff with his, like, wife, marriage.
Starting point is 00:15:26 There's a lot of people that don't fuck with him. Oh, really? People like Keanu. Or what about William Shatner? They got to be older. Oh, yeah, Shatner. I think he's pretty well-like. he's too kind of weird too he's not like a that famous yeah what about
Starting point is 00:15:43 dick van dyke oh yeah he's like a little he's about to i can't believe he's like a hundred hillary clinton i'm just kidding um now dolly's in heaven everyone loves you i freaked out all the gay people at trivia i go now dolly apartment's in heaven with lindy graham and they're like what the fuck i go yeah all gay people go to heaven Yeah, all gay people go to heaven And they're like Like Lindsey Graham Yeah, he's gay, so he's in heaven
Starting point is 00:16:15 Oh All right I hope you're enjoying the interview But a quick message from our buds Hey musicians Are you playing shows But have no clips to show for it Our new sponsor Jam Cut
Starting point is 00:16:28 Is changing the content game For bands and artists all over I'm telling you We really need this actually Because I edit all my videos When I'm on the bus And it's a pain in the full fucking ass. Just upload whatever video
Starting point is 00:16:40 and audio you have, whether that's phone clips, camera footage, or board audio, and Jam Cut automatically sinks it all over together so you can start cutting clips from the best parts of your shows or jam shesh. Dude, I'm telling you, how many times I waste fucking
Starting point is 00:16:55 just editing my own video on Instagram Real? I could be finding a girlfriend. I don't know. And guys, this isn't another AI slot video app. This startup was made by three musicians out of Denver, and they built it with love for the craft. You know, and we're supporting Denver.
Starting point is 00:17:12 We're supporting Denver businesses, which is important to me in this scene. So Jam Cut's online editor lets you and your entire band put your own creative spin on it. It tracks each musicians for tight vertical crops, adds smooth pans and Zoom Plus transitions, separates your audio into stems and has sick effects that react to the music you're playing. Jamcut turns one show into a week's of content. This is huge. Actually, honestly, no bullshit. This is huge.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Because sometimes we only get these like shitty one video, iPhone videos, and Jamka can actually cut it into something worth posting. So take it from me. It's fun as hell to use. Your first month is free.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Just tell them I sent you. Use the code Frasco and experience the future of live show video editing. So get yourself out. Go to fucking Jamcut. All right. Hey, boys, what about Jamcut?
Starting point is 00:18:03 You love the fucking love. They fucking love it. Less work for Frasco means happy band. All right, bye-bye. How did that thing? How to go with the Bluegrass Boys, Kitchen Dwellers? It was killer. I thought, you know, I was scared going into.
Starting point is 00:18:20 I'm like, this is not going to match well. And it fucking matched completely. And also, like, I rode out with Torin, like, that dude's a great dude. He's funny. You know? Yeah. He's a funny guy.
Starting point is 00:18:35 I was worried because, like, he dates McKenzie. Yeah. McKenzie, you know, never really liked me because she was Jill's best man. Jill's been coming to my trivia every time at Fire on the Mountain. I've been talking to Jill a lot. She's cool. She's been a regular at Fire in the Mountain. She's actually, she's a good lady.
Starting point is 00:18:58 She checked on, she checked in on me every day when, after Clark died. yeah she uh and she talked yeah she's a good one I never have said anything I've never had one bad thing to say about her especially in the scope some of the other women
Starting point is 00:19:15 some of the other women you dated she's she's waiting in line to go see fucking Garth Brooks right now at the Grizzly Rose and the thunder rose and the lightning strike he's got some bangers dude
Starting point is 00:19:29 that dude plays like college football stadiums dude I don't know been huge since the 90s. Friends in low places, too. He's playing Pepsi Center. He's just doing a secret show the Grizzly Rozier.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. But is he playing the Pepsi Center or is he playing in the football stadium? He might be playing the football stadium. Okay, that seems small. Yo, I just got to ask to play in China again. You should come with us. China?
Starting point is 00:20:00 For what? You know that Macau gig I always used to get? Yeah, for New Year's? They just asked. No, November, randomly. Oh, this or like next year, then. Yeah, and then we'll go to Japan. We're going to go to Japan as a team.
Starting point is 00:20:18 2027 you're talking about. No, like in two months. They just asked me. Weird. My car. I know. They always do that last minute. But our schedule was kind of full.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Yeah. Well, aren't you doing the almond thing around then? It's right before the almond thing. Damn, you're going to be going to. You're trying to like, I'm trying to, like, cash in as much as I can because I'm about to take six months off, you know? Yeah, you always say that and then you don't. No, I'm, like, really doing it. You're actually doing it?
Starting point is 00:20:52 Six months will go fast as shit, dude. I know. I wish it was a year. Gris took a year off. I just can't. When he came back, I can't afford taking a year off. No, you have too many mouths to feed. Did Gris, like, completely black out?
Starting point is 00:21:10 Like he didn't post anything. He deleted or turned off his Instagram and everything. Wow. He's also way more famous than you, though, so you got to keep that in mind. Just kidding. Everyone with the World Saving Podcast, all the employees at the World Saving Podcasts, like, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, keep working. Yeah, yeah. I'll run your account.
Starting point is 00:21:34 It's just me and a wig, doing like, reels. Yeah. Tell me about mental health. Yeah, exactly. I don't get the fuck about any of you. He played Red Rocks last night. Gris did. Sold it out on a Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Oh, yeah. It's crazy. It's crazy this week. Dude, and Fish is in town this weekend and just. Are you going to go to that? I haven't decided. I don't think so. I'm so happy.
Starting point is 00:22:04 I'm not there for Fish Weekend. Fish weekend's the worst in Denver. Oh, my God. By the end, you're just like, it's like war. It's just, you know, everywhere you go. They're playing the Grizzly Rose. You can't, even serves, there's a fucking Grateful Dead cover band. Dude.
Starting point is 00:22:23 You can't even hide. You can't even go to, like, every bar has some sort of fish or dead thing. Dude. Even like Kamakidan will probably do Grateful Dead Night or something. Curtis Park Deli. That's a fish tribute band. Yeah, Curtis Park. Yeah, there's a, yeah, there's a, yeah, a Bob Weir cover band.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Right. Oh, that's funny. That's funny. But, yeah, I don't know. I might go to one of them. We'll see. I don't know. I don't really want to buy a ticket, so I probably won't go.
Starting point is 00:22:53 I don't like paying to see stuff anymore. I'm spoiled. Oh, that's a hard ticket to get for free, even if you're local celebrity. I could, but I just don't care enough. Like yourself, Nick. I'm not like a fish hater either, but like, I don't know. I'm going to Erica Badu in a couple weeks, so I'll probably just do that instead. Erica Badu.
Starting point is 00:23:14 That's sick. I fucking love Erica Badu, dude. I've been playing with... I've been playing with Lady Gaga's band every week. What, they have, like, that little weekly thing or whatever? Yeah, I've been going to this speakeasy that's like... Fucking all the... It's the craziest scene ever.
Starting point is 00:23:37 It fits 50 people. they lock you in you smoke cigarette smoke we do any of the fuck they lock you in like you can't leave really unless unless you really have to and uh it's the most new york craziest thing ever and there's a new band every night i sit in with like all of like new york's greatest musicians big and they're like fucking giving you all better flowers which is fucking sick yeah the good musicians are the nicest ones have you not Well yeah And it's a
Starting point is 00:24:08 It's a Yeah And it's a Who's Who of musicians too So like There's no like Like Denver I mean
Starting point is 00:24:15 Denver never lets me sit in You know I ask You can sit in With a coltette Anytime you want I asked you to When we opened Sitting on percussion
Starting point is 00:24:24 And you didn't do it No I'm talking about like Will Frask You got like My Now I'm getting more confident I've been Just ripping piano solo
Starting point is 00:24:34 now. I'm getting way better at the piano. That's good. Yeah, play good all the time. We'll do that. I heard that trumpet player video you sent from that band. He was sounding incredible. Oh, Brian Newman. He's the man. You know how Schmeans used to be in her band? Oh, you know who was in town? The Butterfly Quartet last night. Oh, yeah, did you go? No.
Starting point is 00:24:59 That's just funny. Hey, May, did you hear about this? Yeah, how was it? I don't know. I didn't go. I saw him at a bar at like 3 a.m. I was just getting out of, uh... Yeah, I'm like, oh shit, bore him. And I forgot Benny hit me up. Said, oh, we're playing at the fucking blue note. I was like, fuck.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Yeah, whatever. You'll see him again. It's just Benny. Yeah. I don't know. I've just kind of been by myself. I'm not trying to... Where is the blue note?
Starting point is 00:25:28 I don't want anyone to remind me about Clark dying, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, hasn't really been that long. Only been a month. Well, he just had, like, an aneurism? Yeah, he had a brain aneurism. And then he has no family. All his family died.
Starting point is 00:25:45 Oh, I forgot about that. I was in Idaho. No, so I had to go over there and, you know, take, I went, I flew from Idaho. I was playing in Jacksonville. I flew straight there. Sorry. That's all right. I flew straight there.
Starting point is 00:26:05 in Michigan and saw him in the ICU they were just keeping them alive because of the organ donor Mm-hmm
Starting point is 00:26:15 There wasn't any like warning sign or anything It just came out nowhere, huh? Came out nowhere. I mean, crazy. He always said
Starting point is 00:26:22 Yeah, it was kind of sad but also like he never went to the doctor Yeah and he had high blood pressure and was diabetic I saw him like they're pumping insulin in him and stuff.
Starting point is 00:26:38 It made me like fucking take care of, you know, now I go. I'm like, that's why I've been working out every day and like go into the sauna, detoxing. But I had to drive his car. I had to drive his car back from Michigan to his house, dude. Oh, my God. With all his shit in it. How's this lady doing? She's not doing good.
Starting point is 00:27:02 I mean, no one's doing good. I mean, we're all in this, like, we all talk to each other. other. Yeah. It's like a haze. Well, it'd be tough to live in that house after someone passes away, you know? Well, I can don't, she just had cancer too, like, it's like crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:17 She just, I feel so bad for Sarah, yeah, she just passed cancer, like, she just got in remission for titty cancer and shit. Rest cancer, yeah. Tid cancer. What is this? Maxim magazine doctor?
Starting point is 00:27:35 Dr. Maxim. She had breast cancer. And then, you know, then Clark died. So then, you know, no one really wanted to deal with the memorial. So I, on the road, am making this funeral for him. And, you know, I flew out all his favorite musicians. Oh, yeah, I saw that. Shout out to Berg, though.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Berg helped me out hardcore. Shout out to Berg. But everyone's been there, you know. Bayless has been a really good friend and checking it on me. just, I never, this is the saddest I've ever been. Are we doing gigs with Bayless? Don't we have some gigs with Bayless coming up or something? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:18 One of those? November? Yeah, we're doing those two privates in Denver. Oh, they're privates. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on those, right? Yeah. I just need those dates. That'll be good. It's like, uh, probably after the cruise, right?
Starting point is 00:28:34 Yeah, November. See that again? It's after the cruise. November 12 through four. 14th in Denver. Yeah, yeah. Because the first week in November, we're on that revival's cruise.
Starting point is 00:28:44 We're doing the pod on there. Oh, yeah, we're doing that. And I have to host Family Feud again. You're excited to be on a cruise. I guess we'll, that's on, I mean, I get back November 26th, right before that. That one, that cruise actually,
Starting point is 00:28:57 kind of looking forward to that one. It's going to be a little less jam-based, like a little less drugged out, I think. It'll be mellow here. Oh, I think I'm looking for to. Dazer on it. They, I'm coming around on them, actually. And I, uh,
Starting point is 00:29:10 I like, Like moon taxis on it. I love those boys. Dude, I used to fucking tour with them. Moon taxi, Neil Francis, St. Motel. Shit, I'm bringing my horn. You got to bring your horn, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:24 They're making me host a couple other things, too, without you. And, you know, it's like, those are our dogs. But George loves your, loves the podcast. That whole crew loves our podcast. Yeah, yeah. They won trivia one night. They came to Yacht Club and won trivia. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:42 The revivalist did. Do you know their sax player? Is Sammy still their tour manager? Oh, yeah. She broke me into doing a bunch of side shit. That's why. Yeah, how's the franchise going? It's going, going.
Starting point is 00:29:54 I'm out Nia Fire in the Mountain. Trying to get them to go once a week. I don't know. We'll see. Maybe I can get a Tuesday. No weekends. Can't do trivia on a weekend. That's insane.
Starting point is 00:30:06 What if I start doing weddings? So are there, is it two different fan bases between Yacht Club and Fire the Mountain? Completely. Well, there was like two people that went to both last week, which is insane to me. So I have to write two games, but, oh, also, fun, fun update. I'm starting a, like, weekly trivia article every week and Live for Live for Live Music. Really?
Starting point is 00:30:25 Like, you know how, like, the New York Times has, like, little game section? Yeah. Like, the crossword and shit, I'm doing, like, one of those every week. Damn, shout out the Coons for finally fucking throwing you a bone, dude. Jesus, fucking Christ. He came to trivia. He came to trivia for Sarah's birthday and he finally got it.
Starting point is 00:30:44 You know, people need to see shit sometimes. Dude, fucking Scott Morrill had a kid. I was just about to ask you if that happened yet. I was going to text him. Oh, my God. The secret is out. The party's over, dude. The party's over.
Starting point is 00:30:57 We're done. I'm so fucked. Denver's cooked, man. I'm never playing Cervantes again. Dude. I was like, so when did we ever, so like we bought that Mexico pad together? And we're like,
Starting point is 00:31:09 oh yeah. I'm supposed to be our bachelor pad or like our little now I'm the only one without a kid there. I'm like, party's over guys. I mean,
Starting point is 00:31:16 I'm the only one that probably ever going to be there at that Mexico pad now. I'll just move there and be the janitor. A maintenance man. I'm like, God damn it.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Everything, everyone is fucking growing up. Reverse immigration. And then I'm out here. Scott's, what do you have a boy or girl? Uh, girl.
Starting point is 00:31:39 That's cute. I like his like his, lady was like really active. He needed to have a kid. He's like excited about it. I talked to him about a little bit one night and he's like, he's like, I think I got my partying out. I'm like, yeah, I think you did, buddy. I think you're good. I think you're partied. I think he's 50 years old. The time has come. Yeah, dude, you got a lake out. You got a lake at your house. He'll be a great dad. I think it would be fun to have Scott Morrill as a dad. I think so too. That kid will never pay for a Check it.
Starting point is 00:32:10 New York City fucking rules, Nick. Dude. It's a lot, though, huh? This is your fucking... It is, but not. Like, now, like... Yeah, you have a good spot. So, like...
Starting point is 00:32:23 Dude, I'm in the West Village. Like, I got so lucky, dude. I'm on rent control. You ever see any famous people walking around? I... My apartment's right next to Justin Bieber's. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:39 You're going to go hang out with them? I got so lucky with this pad. I mean, shout out to the people who, uh... Well, it's rent controlled, so like, uh, you hand it, they hand it off. But you only have, like, cheap. I thought you were, like, splitting it with someone. Yeah, my buddy, Cliff. Um, but I get it three weeks a month for $2,000 bucks a month.
Starting point is 00:33:06 That's so cheap. It's like free. It's cheaper for me to like live here than like and have the the house rented But that's that same pretty rented That's speaking of that fucking fish week Oh god this is I got oh my god The wooks are at the at the house Nobody go over there and check on them every four hours
Starting point is 00:33:24 She's actually pretty cool she's a lawyer I like her but some but It gets I'm like please there's no parties my neighbors fucking hate me I'm never there anymore so I'm just Airbnb just gang banging my house Oh my God, have you gotten complaints? Yeah, just as air. No, but That guy sucked.
Starting point is 00:33:46 That guy sucked. Don't buy a house 20 years before Randy Fresco and get mad when he has a party at your house, you know? On a Tuesday until 6 a.m. with all of Denver's finest. With just the loudest guys you've ever heard of in your life. Just the loudest men on earth. Just being loud. How's your club? Poppin.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Yeah? That's kind of the only place I go anymore. I just go there if I want to go out and just stand by the bar and just talk to Jake. I got to get back to Denver here soon. It's been packed in that bitch, though. They're making bank, I think. And then the Roooburu's been killing too, I think. Oh, there are there a bar?
Starting point is 00:34:31 No, the restaurant. It's a restaurant. But yeah, that food is so good there, man. So fire. Went there for two years' birthday. Yeah. Jay Beasy's birthday Yeah yeah they hooked it up
Starting point is 00:34:42 Yeah They have a back patio Shit, it's rap I serves It's like the perfect like pregame spot Have you been playing any shows Yeah a little bit I do mostly like private kind of I did a baby bathwater private
Starting point is 00:34:53 With Lyle I did uh Oh yeah how was that That's fun I like those people They're my kind of people They're like successful Oh yeah they're cool They're like successful
Starting point is 00:35:05 But they're not jerkoffs about it Yeah they're like Self-made rich people. Yeah, and they like party. Oh, they fucking party. Party hard of them. They party for real.
Starting point is 00:35:18 And then I got some weddings, a couple weddings. A couple weddings coming up. Nothing crazy, but, you know. Yeah. High value gigs. But October, I don't really have much, but you never know. Stuff always pops up when you're a horn player. Yeah, it feels like October's like perfect wedding season.
Starting point is 00:35:41 for Denver. Yeah. Look at it gets cold enough. One thing that's really changed my life of how I control anxiety and how I control, going through my day-to-day of partying and playing really hard every night and going into back to being a normal person during the day. I've been doing this thing called contrast therapy where it's basically, I go in a sauna for 45 minutes.
Starting point is 00:36:08 I do 15-minute intervals three times. And then I'll do a cold plunge between two to three minutes every other time. And through that, I've seen my dopamine level dramatically grow. I have been the happiest I've been for a long time. And it's all because of OtherShip. Othership is a New York and Toronto-based company that gave me a safe space to find myself again with their amazing sonnas or amazing cold plunges and amazing, community. I started journaling again. They gave me the opportunity to journal in the saunas. They gave me the
Starting point is 00:36:47 opportunity to get deeper into my mind and get more comfort in the idea of being okay with myself. What I love about it, the community that other ship has brought me has really opened my mind that I don't need to go to the bars every night anymore. I could go and talk to people outside of a social community that required alcohol or party. And I could go in there and feel healthy and talk to people and communicate. And that's one thing that othership has brought to my life that has changed my life. So if you're in the New York area, you should definitely try out othership. They got a great app, great community, and Toronto too. I know a lot of people listen to this podcast in Toronto too. But I go every day and it has changed the way I perceived life.
Starting point is 00:37:37 It's changed the way I find happiness in the mundane parts of the day. So go check out othership. I guarantee you you will not regret it. All right, back to the interview. So what, you're on tour like the rest of the month? Yeah, I leave today.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I should actually probably tell the dates. Yeah, do it. Dude, I haven't talked to in so long. I know. It's been like, what? Crazy. Ten years. This comes out Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:38:07 So, oh, it's Brian Schwartz's birthday. Oh, Brian, I saw Schwartz. You'd love this. He calls me up and says, You're getting fat. You look like shit. God. I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:38:21 I lost 20 pounds. But I forgot that I haven't seen him for a year when I was like, you know, skinny from doing more cocaine than I'm doing now. Yeah. You saw Mara, too. I saw Mara. Yeah. What was she doing in New York?
Starting point is 00:38:42 U.S. Open. I can't believe she doesn't live in New York. She seems like such a New Yorker. Yeah. I would never guess she lives in Atlanta. How's she doing? She's doing good. She's worried about me.
Starting point is 00:38:55 I'm like, you know, because I'm taking the hiatus from everything. She's like, please don't quit the podcast. You're doing so good. I'm like, yeah, I know. You can do that. You can take a hiatus and so do the pod. Yeah. Yeah, keep me employed for another six months.
Starting point is 00:39:11 Yeah, I'll try my best. Speaking of employment, I am playing Boca Raton, the ninth and the 10th. Wow, two nights at Crazy Uncle Mike's. The 11th in Jacksonville, that's going to be fun. We're on a music festival. It's like some park festival, but me and Magic City hippies are headlining it. Denham at Athens on the 5th. Great town.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Buy tickets. That's the only show that's not sold out on this tour. 16th or 15th, Potucket, Rhode Island at the Met. 16th, Zenbarn in Vermont. Oh, yeah, Connor was very excited. Then we are opening. Yeah. And then we're opening for Alabama Shakes.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Ooh, shit. They're back. I forgot they're back. On the 18th. Yeah, they're back. the 19th I am the guest at the Capitol Theater for um for pink talk and fish is presenting a hundred I can't believe the Cap Theater has been there for a hundred years what I thought it was like eight years old no a hundred years old cap that crazy they redo it yeah yeah uh Shapiro bought it and then uh
Starting point is 00:40:33 oh that's right that's oh we got Portugal the man coming on the podcast yeah that'd be fun, they're cool. Didn't they just have a guy getting trouble? Yacht gravy. Oh, Everlasts too. Oh, he's the man. You guys can talk politics. Yeah, I'll be in L.A. I mean,
Starting point is 00:40:51 I'm in Denver 21st to the 25th. And then the 26th, Los Angeles, Venice, West, 27th, Lake Paris. Same but different. I think your childhood friends are going to come out? no
Starting point is 00:41:08 this is the first time I do not care you know I realize do this thing I'm done giving fake energy to people ooh me too
Starting point is 00:41:21 I'm done I'm done just like I don't have enough time in the day just be nice to people just to be nice to them when they don't kind of do that for me
Starting point is 00:41:30 you don't you know yeah I don't need a lot of I don't need to be approved by everybody You know, I just want to be I want to give the same amount of time. I mean, this is like
Starting point is 00:41:43 what you've always taught me and now I'm listening. Only took seven years or whatever. What if I start doing that though? What if I start giving people energy that I just start being like, yeah, once you start running the podcast, you'll be like, you'll just be me.
Starting point is 00:42:00 You'll be like, hey, hey, guys. Oh my God. Say some pussy for the rest of us. say some pussy for the rest of us. I could start growing air back and stuff. It was all the just sadness that was making me go bald, not the genetics. It was just like the depression.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Hey, wow, cool. We're friends. Let me get your phone number. I've been hanging out with a lot of actors lately. Oh, no. Talking about fake energy. Well, these guys aren't that bad. I think they're the Jonas Brothers a little bit You did? Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:40 They go to that bar a lot Oh Nick Nick's the cool one Right Everybody likes them right now Yeah and like Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:48 It's jacked It's very funny that Who goes to that Speak Easy It's like a lot of Victoria Secret Supermodels And a lot of
Starting point is 00:42:57 Yeah I got a dude I'm like I'm like kind of getting my swag back Is it expensive in there? yes
Starting point is 00:43:05 but it's like thirty five dollars a cocktail jeez are they good though they're fucking great well you pay to play like I like going there because I could smoke cigarettes in there
Starting point is 00:43:19 yeah fuck yeah I could do whatever I want in there and I could stay there till 6 a.m. if I want oh it's like that what kind of music is the band playing in that bitch um
Starting point is 00:43:31 like they do it Monday is like Criotra covers and shit. Tuesday is like New Orleans, Dixie. Oh. Night. Wednesday is, you know, like, almond night. And then they have DJs and stuff.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Almond brothers kind of. Almond. Are you stoked for that Alman Brothers thing you're doing? Yeah, I'm a little nervous, but it's a real easy gig. It's just three shows. I'm doing three songs a night. Yeah, as long as you nail those, you'll be good. I'm trying to get you on that if you want to do it.
Starting point is 00:44:11 I'm down. Just let me know. We're talking about it, but I know. Devin Alman. Devin Alman, he's hard to track down. Yeah, yeah, I get it. I'm on standby, though. I would love to have you there because it's like...
Starting point is 00:44:27 I'll cancel trivia for three weeks. I'll be so bored. I don't want to, like, drink all... You know, I don't want to... When I get bored... bored I start drinking, you know. Yeah, I'm good of not drinking. Or, like, stopping at midnight.
Starting point is 00:44:40 I've been really getting into, like, Nintendo Switch. Did you get one? Yeah. Gancer. I love the Switch. Yeah. Gantzer's got us all on it. He's saying you guys are getting in some pretty evil Mario Party fights.
Starting point is 00:44:58 Yeah, everyone's competitive as hell, and he's just out. Gantz are just really good at video games, like, that Autism is just fucking top tier. Top tier fucking autism over there. And he's sober. And he's sober. And it's all about... We've never had so many band practices
Starting point is 00:45:17 ever in my life. Really? When do you practice? He's really throwing out this band. We're like really becoming a pro band. Interesting. I don't know if I like that. I'm just kidding. You haven't mentioned Sam at all. What's up with him? He's fine. Yeah, he's good
Starting point is 00:45:36 He's Sam He's fine Jam cut Sam Have you tried out Jam cut Yeah we got jit We've been dropping those ads Jam cut
Starting point is 00:45:46 It's just dope Have you tried it? How's that go Yeah I actually used it It's awesome Yeah it's sick He came to trivia like at He's a buddy of mine
Starting point is 00:45:54 The Jam Cut guy He came to Fire in the Mountain Got dead last But he had fun He brought his girlfriend She's super hot Are they partying at Fire
Starting point is 00:46:03 of the Mountain Like they're parted in a yacht club? it's a little different like it's a little more I can't be quite as insane there I called a can you like can you say crazy shit there no not quite like Yac Club like at Yac Club I called a kilometer a gay mile the other day I was like fuck it I was like let's see what these people think of about this that's pretty good Nick and only the gay people only the gay people laughed I was like a kilometer also known as like a kilometer
Starting point is 00:46:36 also known as a gay mile. Pretty, pretty good. So there'll be like kids sometimes of fire in the mountains, so I have to kind of be a little more careful. But I had 22 teams last time there. I know. You need to get paid more.
Starting point is 00:46:53 I'm going to get them to go weekly, too. Still, that's a lot. You should go, you should get paid more. I know. I need to have them put out like a tip thing, too. I bet I could bank. They all that jobs. I wish I cared more about working more
Starting point is 00:47:09 or I'd be your manager I just quit the band and become a trivia manager I'm just like kind of done adding any extra shit to my life I think you have enough shit bro I'm cool if I could just do pods and
Starting point is 00:47:26 the music not have to do all this other shit you got the tour manager's doing a good job the new he's new but he's young let's find out when he has to advanced shows and shit.
Starting point is 00:47:42 I mean... He hasn't done that yet. He's keeping morale good on the bus, but let's see how stressed out he gets when we add more to his plate that actual tour managers also have to do, you know? Yeah, but like how hard is it to add morale when you are selling out shows every night? Because, I mean, I'm the most depressed I've ever been. That's saying a lot. I think you get depressed every... I swear to God you get depressed every August.
Starting point is 00:48:14 I'm going to start a chart, a flow chart of your depression. That's actually funny to think. Well, I'm not just the Clark thing. That too, but I feel like this summer always does it to you, though. Because we always start doing. We always do archive every year in around August we do archive episodes. Oh, yeah. Dude, that Molly Tuttle one I put up yesterday's cranking.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Yeah, she's getting big. Let me see how many views that has. I'm looking right now. Hold on. I love that Darby Hudson episode got 10. That's great. It's in one day. Darby got 10K.
Starting point is 00:48:52 That's crazy. Yep, he got 10K. Yellow Wolf has like a little under 10. Rodrigo Gabiolo is like three. Pretty good. And that's just YouTube. What a time to be on hiatus when the podcast is blown up. Oh, we're doing well?
Starting point is 00:49:08 I'm going to go take a nap. What are you doing in November? I just finally think about myself. no that's fine what are you doing it i like doing a solo interview it's good for the chops you know yeah it'll be good for you realize how hard it is it is hard it's so corny dude it's hard to i keep a conversation going for an hour so corny like you feel corny when you're asking people questions you just you're just like what the fuck am i doing it's like cringe it's like how are you i don't know what's just funny mike can talk though so it was good mic can i
Starting point is 00:49:46 actually like go on a tangent about something. You know why you think it's corny? Because you don't, you never ask, how are you? You can usually tell. People let you know. Someone on the chat. Oh, this is Jack. Australian ads are cheap.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Oh, that's what Jack said. Yeah, why don't we just fucking blow up in Australia then, Jack, if it's cheaper for ads? We just only have Australian guests. This week on the pad, on the pod. Who's that guy? King Gizzard again. King Gizzard again. That festival looks sick.
Starting point is 00:50:25 You know what else? The festival looked fucking sick. Billy Strings' festival. Dude, he gave all the money away. Did you see that? Billy impressed me more and more every fucking day, dude. What a true fucking standout motherfucker, dude. He might be the best guy in music.
Starting point is 00:50:45 He, dude, for talent-wise, and just philanthropy-wise and for just like how he's how he approaches mental health and depression too I don't know that much about him I'm sure he doesn't pretty well and then the whole festival
Starting point is 00:51:03 Bluegrass Festival he had metal bands on it which is fucking awesome we always said that bluegrass and metal are like cousins yeah and he proved it he proved us right again shout out to him he's playing
Starting point is 00:51:20 Goose, you better get that guy out of jail because you guys got a lot of promo for that. You better get that man out of jail. That was so funny. All right, boys? I know you're listening. You better get that man out of jail. If that guy goes to jail for you all
Starting point is 00:51:32 doing a big-ass promo for the fucking we stop the police. We kept playing. We kept playing. That guy gets in trouble for that bullshit. You better fucking get him out of jail. He's going to get a fine or something. He's probably just going to get a fine.
Starting point is 00:51:48 But it was funny watching Rick brush off. that Boulder cop. It kind of gave me, I texted on my kid, it was like, damn, that was actually cool, it wasn't nerdy. Rick's not a nerd. He was like, yeah, that guy felt
Starting point is 00:52:01 that that cop guy was kind of pissing me off too. He was just like, you could tell he was like, wanted, didn't want to do anything. Yeah. And then he got pissed off once he saw everyone was videotaping him. I loved all the people saying it was fake. Like they already sold out redrocks.
Starting point is 00:52:19 They don't need them. they don't need the promotion they already sold out all their shows like it's pretty funny that was i had yeah i was like that's respect i'm glad rick kept it going i mean what do you what's gonna happen you go to jail for what disturbing the peace no it's just a fine or something probably for like a noise ordnance thing but what or like him you know oh right right rich should have went to jail said i'll go to jail they've been awesome come get brute comes and bales them out Baru comes in
Starting point is 00:52:51 Hold the mice Don't worry Don't worry Rick I'll find you I'll get you out of there You always I'll say to you Rick is just
Starting point is 00:52:59 I'll get you out of there Rick I'll get you out of there And then Merlin will make us dinner There's probably not that many You know Bad boy jail people In Boulder Colorado you know No it would be more impressive
Starting point is 00:53:13 If they did that in like Detroit What'd you go in for Oh my name's Wild Bear I got I was selling Kava. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, what's it called? Cratum or whatever. My name's Wild Bear.
Starting point is 00:53:31 I was selling Kratum at the farmer's market. Yeah, Kava's Mediterranean Chipotle. Katama is, well, Kava's Mediterranean. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's just, people love that place. You're just eating Chipotle. You're just eating Greek Chipotle, bro. Turkish Chipotle.
Starting point is 00:53:54 But yeah, I would be... It's good to catch up with you, Nick. I haven't talked to you in a long time. Yeah, but I would be more impressed if they were fighting off the cops in, like, Detroit. Or, like... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:07 And then, like, he had to go to jail in Detroit. And, like... His little, like... His little skinny body would go into, like, a Detroit prison. He's selling his body. And Brooke is legit scared. Yeah. He's bottoming for real criminals.
Starting point is 00:54:23 The Z-dub guy. You heard about the Dale and the Z-dub guy? Yeah, he came on the pod that one time, remember? He was, like, giving out hand jobs in jail and shit. You got to do what you got to do, man. It's only gay if you come. You think Rick would give out hand jobs in the Boulder, Colorado. Jail?
Starting point is 00:54:44 Rick's to get out. Rick's kind of jacked. I think he'd be all right in there. I think he'd be able to fight him off. He is kind of jacked. I wonder if Rick's ever got in a fight. I doubt it. He's too hot.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Hot people don't need to fight. But you could tell, like, he had some, when he was a kid, maybe, he used to fight. Maybe. I wonder if he has any stalkers. He's buffed like that. Like, he's lanky. Like, I think he'd beat some ass. He's got that wide receiver build, like the slot receiver.
Starting point is 00:55:14 I don't think homie, though, has ever fought before. What's his name? Peter. Peter. Yeah, piano player. Yeah. I don't really see him in the octagon anytime soon. The only fight I got into, the only fight I got into in fifth grade, I got pushed to the ground, I tried to bite his ankles.
Starting point is 00:55:34 I tell you this. I ever told you this? Telled you this. And they fucking, he just fucking just kicked me in the fucking head. I'm like, oh, that's the last time I'm ever going to fight. I beat up a guy in a hotel room my freshman year because I kept making fun of me because I was short. Really? That's cool.
Starting point is 00:55:51 We were all hanging out, and he's like, he kept, harp. I was really short. He was like a foot taller of me. I just like started punching him and everybody had to pull me off him. It made me look so badass. Then he hated me
Starting point is 00:56:01 for four years. But he started a couple where was a show last last week where there was a complete fucking brawl at our show. That's awesome. At our show.
Starting point is 00:56:17 Like about what? Just like people getting in the front row. They want to touch Andy's feet. Like people are running out. to get to the front row now. Oh, like the thing where they're throwing down tarps and shit, like people at fish shows,
Starting point is 00:56:34 I hate that shit. Not the, I mean, we're not playing huge venues like that. But where were we that? Oh, it was, it was Bockville near Syracuse. Boxville. That's funny. Dude, I hate that shit.
Starting point is 00:56:51 It's crazy. We were getting thousand, at least 1,000 people at night at those fucking making some money out there. I'll go kitchen to all the shows. Oh, yeah. I hate those like fish videos. Yeah, we were doing like 10 grand at night in merch. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:57:07 Who's selling merch for you now? Trevor still? Oh, yeah, yeah, he's good. It's good to have a guy merch seller. We don't need a woman in that man. I just hired Sam Sutton from Umphreys to be like your guy. Run merch from now on.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Well, he's like the goat of that. But you know what I'm talking about, have you seen those videos? of the fish fans, like, running up and throwing their tarps down, like... Oh, yeah. That shit annoys me. It's colonizer activity. Well, like, you're in line, but your homies aren't in line with you, so you're going to hold a fucking blanket just so, like, the five other people can get there, too.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Like, everyone should go with you at 1 p.m. whenever you fucking go over there to wait in line. Like... Save and see... This isn't a Southwest flight, bro. it's actually you're actually kind of right it's very colonizing it's very rude it's very certain country in the middle east uh it's very israel is that what we're gonna say the rail was promised to me three thousand years ago in the talmud the rail i'm jewish i don't even fuck with any of that shit i wouldn't either you get the hell's going on out there too what the
Starting point is 00:58:30 hell. I don't know. It's been going on for, that's a great way to ask about Israel. What the hell's going on out there? It's like,
Starting point is 00:58:36 what are you guys doing over there? Just like, no nuance or anything. What the hell are you not doing over there? I'm an American Jew, you know? I'm not an Israeli Jew. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:58:48 no. Americans got their own colonizing shit going on too, you know, no one talks about. I think people talk about it. I think it's pretty well documented. that we pretty much killed everybody.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Didn't the British do that too? Yeah, so we learned it. Belgium's, Belgium took over... I told me. Belgian sneaky took over half of Africa and kind of gets a pass. Portugal, bad. Spain, Italy. You know, loki who also are colonizers who weren't that nice?
Starting point is 00:59:24 The people? The Dutch. Oh, yeah, dude. It's called, like, the slave trade's called like the Dutch. It's like named after Dutch. It's like Dutch East Indian trading company. Also, Japan. Japan's the England of Asia.
Starting point is 00:59:40 Oh. They had to get slapped around a little bit. Yeah, we slapped them around, didn't we? They did it slap around? I'm waiting for us to get karma back from that. Nah. I'm waiting for us to get karma for that shit. Yeah, I think they made enough money off us now.
Starting point is 01:00:00 There's BCRs and cars and stuff that's all good. I'm waiting for us to get some karma back from fucking what's going on in the Middle East. Yeah, dude. Not good. What the fuck's happening? This Trump's shit is bullshit. I'm over Trump. It's like every day it's something.
Starting point is 01:00:24 You know? And he's like falling asleep and shit. Do you see he's like he's shitting himself and farting all the time? He's got like a diaper person with him at all times. Not that attractive of a guy. not a very attractive guy I'm just ready for a boring president I don't really
