Episode Date: December 5, 2022

Good morning, Geoff! It's a Gus's non-canon supplemental episode of ANMA. In this episode Geoff and Producer Eric use a list from u/AH_Vinny to narrow down the meaning of the name ANMA. Starting point is 00:00:00 What would you do if you had the freedom to be anyone or to go anywhere without limitations? Start your journey and experience for yourself the feeling of total freedom when you game with Alienware. Alienware is your portal to new worlds where limits don't exist and the only rules are the ones you decide to make. Defy boundaries and start gaming now at Alienware.com. Next-gen gaming is built with Intel Core i9 processors. This is a Rooster Teeth production. We're rolling. Let me make sure my audio is good here. Okay, this is the first supplemental of two supplemental's. Guest cannot be involved. He's not allowed to be involved.
Starting point is 00:00:36 I made that very clear. But you didn't ask if my audio levels were good. Um, how are my audio levels? They're fine. Okay, first of two supplemental episodes. Good morning, Eric. Good morning, Jeff. We have no coffee that we are reviewing. You are drinking something out of a can.
Starting point is 00:00:57 I'm drinking my favorite energy drink. It's called 3D. This is strawberry lemonade. It comes in cool cans. It's like a silver bullet. They got a blue one. they got a red one. I buy by color. And silver is always a good color
Starting point is 00:01:09 for an energy drink, I feel like. It looks like it's a generic knock off. It looks like something that would be in a movie. It's so generic looking. Yes. And I, it's what I kind of what I like about it. Okay. And it tastes really good, but you can only get them.
Starting point is 00:01:22 They're not everywhere. You get them at like H.E.B. And you can't buy like a monster I'll buy like a 12 pack or some pack these that's like your individuals. Monster energy drink is so gross and tastes so weird. Do you get the white one with the no sugar? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:37 Are you a day laborer? Like what are you doing? Well, I am laboring to drink for this day. They are for sure. That is every full of them. Every time I worked like a manual labor type job or whatever, and I worked in the office because I'm a little man, all of those guys would have empty cans of white. It's white can monsters all inside their work trucks, all of them.
Starting point is 00:02:03 The only energy drink I like more than monster, and this is my Alabama showing, I guess, maybe, but I am a fiend for energy drinks, especially now that I don't drink liquor anymore, you know? Yeah, yeah. There is this one, I've only seen it in Oklahoma, and I have a friend who lives up in Oklahoma
Starting point is 00:02:19 who brings it down, whatever she comes to visit us. Yeah. If you ever get a chance to buy old glory. Old glory. It's like an American flag and it's like Charlie and always sunny. Right. It's like rock flag and you go. And they print like it's either the pledge of the allegiance or the or the declaration
Starting point is 00:02:37 of the pinnacle. And then the pinnacle is something on the cans. Yeah. That's awesome. And it is like 99 cents, but it is good. Oh, that rules. But I think it must be super regional to Oklahoma, because I've never seen it in Texas.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Maybe we'll have to do an energy drink taste testing. Maybe not with the show, but like maybe for a supplemental coming up eventually, I think. For a different show. Yeah, well, we don't talk about that show. That show doesn't need our help. That's true.
Starting point is 00:02:59 So here's what I've gathered today. Okay. There's a, or when I give credit, we're credits to do. They're just, just, I just see it. Okay. There's a, or when I give a credit where credit's due, just say, just see it. Oh my God. That looks like fire.
Starting point is 00:03:09 It's a fire. It looks like fireworks. Yeah. I apologize for calling it old glory. It's old glory. Oh God. Yeah. I do want to give credit where credit's due.
Starting point is 00:03:18 AH underscore Vinny. He's not in achievement, it's just his name. On the Rupertith subreddit, made a topic. Rob Blair. I've compiled every guess that Eric and Jeff have made about what Emma stands for. Christ.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Okay, and we're 90, guess that we were like 90%? So that's why I'm doing this. Vinnie says, I've compiled every guess that Eric and Jeff have made what Anima stands for. I believe I've developed a sort of unhealthy obsession trying to figure out what the hell Anima stands for. So what we have is guesses on every episode. And what I've done for us is we're gonna go through one by one.
Starting point is 00:03:55 And we're gonna look at these names and we're gonna kinda have a mark like, we're gonna cross them out. I gave us pens because I really wanna guess. I really wanna figure this out. Gus said that we've been 99.9% correct. So what can it be? And I figured this would be the way. Thank you, Vinny, for this. So this episode, we will have a compiled list that we're going to go through.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Okay. Episode one, no guesses. That one's good. Easy. Episode two, none of these are right. My favorite of all the guesses, it's mine, obviously. But my favorite guess so far was Austin never mattered anyway, but I don't think that's right. I also don't think it's right. Austin no more Austin. I'm not going to cross off. I'm not going to cross that one off. And I don't think we cross off a name means anything. That's true. I feel like that's good. But here's the thing about Austin, no more Austin. I don't think you need no. Like the end in Austin, we found out later, because at that time, we didn't know. So Austin, no more Austin could be Austin, more Austin. Could be.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Because we found out late at this time, Austin, no more Austin, we thought every letter was a letter. Yes. And then found out later that it was not. So could be, I'm going to cross out the no and then put a question more. Austin, a name means anything I think is maybe close. Close, I think. A new meat alternative, I don't think that's it. No, apples mean microaggressions, no.
Starting point is 00:05:21 No. Episode four, this is where we started really going for it. A new morning Austin, I don't think is it. I really don't. What if it's like, this motherfucker, what if it's like, what if the A doesn't meet anything? What if it's just like new morning Austin or something like that? But there's an A, but he said it.
Starting point is 00:05:47 He said it was dream logic. I think that's overthinking it. Okay. Okay. All right. I'm gonna cross it off a new morning Austin. A new mystery. I don't think it's Austin.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Austin, not man. Austin. I like it. But it could be Austin. No, man. Austin. But then you don't need to know. It would be Austin, man.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Austin. That could be it. Okay. I'll cross out the nod. And then I'll put a question mark. I don't think that's in. I knew man's Austin. I don't, I don't think that's no. Austin's not mind anymore. Okay, that's a good one. I think that is a good one. I, but again, it's just don't cross it off yet.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Okay, remember, it's not right, it's closed. Okay, we're not gonna find the right answer. I'm gonna put question mark. Austin needs more airports. I can Remember, it's not right. It's closed. Okay. We're not gonna find the right answer. I'm gonna put question mark. Austin needs more airports. I can't imagine that would be right.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Then Bernie and Gus have this airport thing. Yeah. But Bernie doesn't work here anymore. No, but Gus does. Oh, that's true. I mean, well, he doesn't work here right now. Right now. Yeah, because he, yeah, because clearly he doesn't care.
Starting point is 00:06:41 His hair needs a break. Right. From getting a cup of coffee. He needs a break from eight weeks break from eight episodes of work. He's like, every eight episodes of work, I need to take two. Do you know how all the podcasts you listen to take these breaks?
Starting point is 00:06:53 Right. What the fuck? Like, I was really excited to listen to the Bill Simmons podcast today, but he was like, no, it's week nine. Yeah, sorry, man, I got, well, here's supplemental podcasts, content with some other dipshit. Yeah, here man, I got, well here's supplemental podcasts, content with some other dipshit. Yeah, here's me talking about the Celtic seven years ago.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Enjoy. No relevance to today. I don't think it's Austin needs more airports. Okay, I don't either. I'm gonna cross it out. Okay, so it's on the back, hang on. It's on the back side. Oh my God, you thought it was just those,
Starting point is 00:07:19 but you thought episode five, this is where we learned that A N could possibly be a word, a word. Another morning in Austin, it could be another morning Austin. Yep. You know what I mean? Across that out, I'm going to put a question mark. Yeah. And my Austin, I don't hate it.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I don't hate it either. And my apples is not it. Gone. I'm gonna put question mark next to you and my Austin. Okay. I feel like it's probably close. Another time around? No.
Starting point is 00:07:54 No, but I do like it. Another, I do too. No. But that's not a Gus name. Gus is gonna name it. You gotta think it's part of the problem too. It's like not only are we, and this is where the audience has had a bit of a,
Starting point is 00:08:07 a, I guess a, what is the word I'm looking for? Disadvantaged. Disadvantaged. I'm starting to say. I know, here's why, cause I was gonna say discrepancy, but discrepancy's not the word, but I lost this advance.
Starting point is 00:08:21 You said disc, you know what I mean? I need more energy. I think you need ol' glory. Yeah. God, it's like drinking a firework. Oh, dude, it's so fucking, yeah. You're right. Like, we know Gus.
Starting point is 00:08:34 You know Gus a lot better. Yeah. When we look at a name like another time around, I just don't think that that, I don't think it's a Gus name. It's also, no, I agree. And it's what's so complicated about it is, not only do we have to know Gus,
Starting point is 00:08:44 but then we have to take it a level further and think about Gus's dream logic, which we can get to, we can do. But God damn. If you told me Gus doesn't dream, I'd believe you. Yeah, right. Do you mean the thing that said like, something like 50% of the people
Starting point is 00:08:58 don't have an internal monologue? Yeah, I don't believe that. I think that's- How is that possible? I don't know. I think that's a thing that people say, but I don't believe that. I've had an internal monologue about that since I read it believe that. I think that's possible. I don't know. I think that's a thing that people say, but I don't believe that. I've had an internal monologue about that since I read it.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Yeah. You know? I don't dream. I don't dream. I don't really have to. I go. I mean, you do. You just don't remember the thing.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Yeah, yeah. I talk in my sleep apparently. I've never heard it, but apparently I talk in my sleep. So another meaningless autobiography, I don't think that's it. No. I think it's cool. I think something's close there, maybe, but I don't think it's it. Annic Dote to my anxiety, no.
Starting point is 00:09:33 An embarrassment to Austin. Now this is some thinking that I could see something close. I am gonna put a question mark. I don't think it's the name, but I like the way that it's Ann, and then the, Ann, and embarrassment is the second letter. It's not right. And my acts, no.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Anything more always, no. Austin, not my Austin. Like this is another example. This could be Austin, my Austin. Okay, cross that output question. Or Austin, not Austin. Yeah, that makes it, yeah, yeah. It's something like there's something close there. Another Monday of that's not it, but I forgot about that. Guess that's such a good one. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Another Monday of Ann. Oh, it's a little motherfucking Adam. That's a great guess. It's not right. Anti meta Austinites. I don't think that's... I don't either, but that's not... The anti-s. The anti-s, the thing that gets me where I go, maybe. Yeah. But then I can see Gus using meta. Uh-huh. Maybe it could be anti-meda Austin.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Yeah. But even then, I don't know. Okay, I'm gonna cross. I'm gonna cross, I'm gonna put question mark. I'm just gonna cross out and see if it's anti meta Austin. Yeah, I know Gus is a big meta fan. It's his favorite thing. Yeah, it loves VR and just he's all in.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Yeah, he's all in on that space game that they've been making for 72 years where you have to sell a car to buy a ship or whatever. He's got like a fleet. Like he thinks he's like, yeah, he's a space man. He thinks he's like, he's like Gustavo of Borug. Yeah. Space man, Gus.
Starting point is 00:11:07 A new mediocre attempt. Great guess. Not at the. Don't think that's. Avenge my Austin now. Gus isn't of the, is it? No.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Anybody makes anything now. Any more Austinite. Now I think there might be something to that name. I don't think that's the name. Any more Austinite. Maybe it's like that, right? maybe that right gonna cross that put question mark Okay, we're done with our first page. This is a great idea by the way. Thank you. Thank you age Vinnie for a non moral argument Yeah, no animal magnetism. No, but I do think animal magnetism. I wonder if there's something
Starting point is 00:11:39 Around that the a n for the first word in the MA for the second word, I don't hate that. Episode nine, no guesses, great. Good work from us. Episode 10, a nominal micro-transaction. Hmm, no. Anel master's always no. No. I'll go though, as his close friends know,
Starting point is 00:11:59 probably not the audience, but as his closest friends, you and I are among the close, it's hard to get close to Gus, but you and you and I are among the closest would know huge fan of anal Giving and receiving Agricultural norms Episode 11 Another meticulous
Starting point is 00:12:23 Autocracy I'm gonna say no. I'm gonna say no, but I love it. Animals. I'm just gonna put a big heart around it because I love that. But it's definitely not that. I think, unless it's animal, but what he, is he like panting where he goes?
Starting point is 00:12:42 He could. So what animal? Let me just, let's fuck maybe. Let's take a break here for a second. Is he like panton where he goes? He said, I think it might be normal. Let me ask you, let's fuck maybe. Let's take a break here for a second. And don't forget that we're disadvantaged. Don't lose that from the lexicon of your vocabulary. Like I did. I'm gonna remember, I'm gonna repeat that to myself a bunch.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Okay. We finished this list. Yeah. We get down to our, it's probably 10 to 15 that we think are potentials. What's our next step? Do we then present it to Gus in an episode? Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:13 I think the first episode back. Okay, and then we say like, which one is it? Or do we say like, what did we find the right one? Did we find the one that we're in? Did we find the one? Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Because I don't think we go which one is it, because that's going to be two. Like he won't do it. He's two. Yes. But we go of these that we have is one of these, one of the 99.9. Yeah. And then if it's a yes, we know that we have it narrowed and we're getting closer. And if it's a no, we still have it narrowed.
Starting point is 00:13:43 Yes. But we'll never get there. Never fucking get there. Oh, man. A new marathon adventure is not. No, episode 12. A new musical adventure. No, no. Any anatomical act anatomical accurate anatomically accurate. Anatomically accurate? Anatomically accurate could be it. Do you ever heard Gus sing? Does he sing? Well, he doesn't do it a lot.
Starting point is 00:14:13 He doesn't do it a lot. I've only heard him sing a few times. Here's the interesting thing about Gus. Amazing voice. Amazing singer. Loves to sing you too. If you ever get him, get him to maybe,
Starting point is 00:14:23 I don't know he doesn't drink much anymore. But catch him on a good day, maybe if he's had like a cocktail to unwind or something, get him to sing a little, get him to sing a lemon. He's like a, that's the era of you two that he sings. That's the one that I've heard him sing. Why? Why is that? It's like, not, it's like not Joshua Tree.
Starting point is 00:14:41 He's in like the pop era. Yeah. Oh yeah. Is he like a big, he's like when he saw Bono with the big sunglasses, he went the fly. Oh, Mr. Mustafa Lee's that's my guy. He's the guy who when when when Apple gave him a U2 album without asking and downloaded it to his computer form,
Starting point is 00:14:58 he went, thanks Apple. He's the one guy. I, I really, I was listening to Joshua Tree last night. I love early U2. Really? Oh, I think that when they were a proto punk, they're sort of like this post punk sound. They were like a little dancing in like that first album. And then Joshua Tree, Bono, I feel like they kind of like learn their instruments and became
Starting point is 00:15:20 like a real band through like two or three albums and they always have a sound for like three albums and then they'll change what it is and you can hear that when they go from like Joshua Tree into something like pop or whatever and it's just totally different like your daddy's gonna buy you a new car and all this stuff and you're like oh man it's like so crazy. The problem is and I think the worst thing in like the history of music is that Bono went to a party and everyone was with a bunch of other musicians and everyone was passing around a guitar and they gave it to Bono and he didn't know how to play and he
Starting point is 00:15:53 was embarrassed. So he learned how to play guitar and I feel like that is the downfall of you too. The downfall of you too is that Bono stopped being the singer and he started being a musician and that is that's not what that band is. That band is Larry Mullen and the Edge and Adam Clayton let them do this stuff and let Bono carry this with his big voice. And he learned how to play guitar and it makes me so sad to think about
Starting point is 00:16:16 because now you get you to what they are now. Hot you to taste. Episode 13, no guesses. Episode 14. Episode 14. Andy must acquiesce, no. No, no guesses. Episode 14. Episode 14. Andy must acquiesce. No. No, definitely not.
Starting point is 00:16:28 No, all new material, all the time. I don't, it could be, it could be all new material always or something like that, but I'm gonna say no. I don't think so either. Austin materials anonymous now. No. 15.
Starting point is 00:16:39 Oh man, this is when we found out that it could be like Spanish. No. Avesis, no me acquired though. Nope. No. Another normal morning in Austin. we found out that it could be like Spanish, a Vesus, no me acquired though, nope. Another normal morning in Austin. So here's one where I look at it, and I think no, but then I think maybe
Starting point is 00:16:52 if you take normal out, just another morning in Austin, that could be it. Let's try that. Question mark. Annoying modern Austinites. Mm. Annoying, it could be an annoying modern Austin. Yeah.

Dude, can I tell you? Yeah. This because this is supplemental.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Yeah. It's been really great to go through and reminisce and tell all these stories about living through Austin through its growth and getting to watch it become the cities become and Gus and I have been very clear that we are very positive about it. Like, changes, changes inevitable and I do think the city of Austin has been forced through popularity and growth to change a lot, but it's done in a fairly responsible way. But I have really, 2022 is really cemented to me and I don't
Starting point is 00:21:03 mean this to be negative. Okay. But I think my love affair with Austin is way is on its, it's, and I don't mean this to be negative. Okay. But I think my love affair with Austin is on its, it's nearing its end. I can understand that. And I think that has more to do with me than Austin. I agree.
Starting point is 00:21:14 You know, I didn't appreciate San Diego until I left. Yeah. It was a thing where my dad was like, why do you wanna leave San Diego? But my dad's from a lettuce farming town in Northern California and moved to San Diego. Yeah. All I knew was San Diego. So when I left, and I went, oh, fucking, whoops. Uh, uh, so now when I go back, it's like, wow, I can really appreciate it. I feel like that's the thing where you're here for so long. The it loses its luster and that's totally understandable because there's a
Starting point is 00:21:48 change in everything and it's not necessarily just the change. It's you and what and where you're at. Yeah, I think it has less to do with it losing its luster. I think if anything, Austin has more. I mean, a lot of the things that I found charming about it that I fell in love with are gone, but a lot of those things were from the era, not necessarily the city. Definitely.
Starting point is 00:22:08 It was the fact that I grew up in this 80s and the 90s. And Austin was still, when I moved here in 94, at 18 or near here, I don't know that that might, the world that I moved into in Austin, I don't know that it might not have been elsewhere. It was just in Austin, I don't know that that might not have been elsewhere, you know. It was just like, it was just the time. It's the place that you found at the time you found it.
Starting point is 00:22:29 It's just a hundred percent that I, like, listen, Austin is no longer the velvet ditch. It's no longer the easiest city in the world to live in. It is as expensive as LA. It is getting to be hard to go places and do stuff because of the popularity, which I don't have an issue with. It's just you get to a point, here I am, I'll be 48 next year. You don't care about the things you care about. I'm never gonna go to a bar on six street,
Starting point is 00:23:01 dirty or east ever again. And if I do, it's just gonna be for 45 minutes to catch up with somebody who haven't seen or whatever. But I'm, you know what I mean? I'm never gonna, I'm not in a place in my life or I'm willing to wait for an hour to eat anywhere, you know? And so a lot of the things that make it great, music festivals, live music.
Starting point is 00:23:18 I did go to a concert a couple weeks ago and I had a really good time, but that's like a once or every two years. I was gonna say we've always had last one before that, though. Yeah, and I'll probably fly, like concerts probably have less to do with where they are and more to do with who they are at this point in my life. So I would probably fly to go see a black flag
Starting point is 00:23:35 reunion show or something, but, and it's just like, Austin is awesome. Maybe that's the name of this podcast. But I just am out growing the benefits of the city. And this podcast has kind of helped me come to terms with that. And realize that it has nothing to do with the city changing and everything to do
Starting point is 00:24:01 with just me being in a different place in life. Yeah, and I think that totally makes sense. I think going around the city and getting a cup of coffee and then sitting down and kind of like, oh, yeah, remember this, you remember when it was like that and it's, it's not gonna be that again and that's not, you know, a knock on the city, but it's just not where you're at anymore. Yeah, it's just fine. Yeah. And, like I said, I just, the older I get, the less I want,
Starting point is 00:24:26 the more I just wanna live a quiet solitary life. And Austin is, it is a vibrant full of life city. Yeah, yeah. And I love, I mean, I just went to F1, it was fucking awesome. And I had a great time at the time of my life at the F1. And I wouldn't be able to do that living in most places. But then I did it. And I'm not gonna go, I don't wanna go, I've been two years in a row, I already decided not to go next year. You know, it's like you, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Anyway, sorry, I got off on the beach. I totally get it. Just trying to pad for time. I get it. Oh, we're good. Okay, so we're at Austin, makes Austin. No. Because it's not, like, I don't know how you can change the Austin.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Austin means Austin. Could be something like that. Yeah. I'm gonna change that to mean. I'm gonna change that to mean. I'm gonna change that to like, I don't know how you can change that to make it. Austin means Austin. Could be something like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:08 I'm gonna change that to mean. There we go and put a question mark. Okay. Aynas Myass. Great guess, not it. A no meriposa key that means no butterfly here I think. Yeah. That's on it.
Starting point is 00:25:20 16. Austin's no longer monetarily accessible. Great, I mean, great sentence, but not the great thing Austin me more. Hmm. Hmm. Like it could be Austin me Amigo. I like that. I like that. I'm going to write that down. Yeah, I wrote that down. Got it. Okay. Uh, Aruba not my chameka. I think that was on the tail end of everyone talking about there's no cocoma and then people tweeting like there's Cocoa Moe Indiana and it's like shut up shut up forever
Starting point is 00:25:50 Another midnight atrocity. I don't think that's it Austin manana, which was Mike the guest that I really thought it like I really thought that was it and it's not so we can get rid of that Always need my arbise. That's just for me So we can get rid of that. Always need my arteries. That's just for me. Uh-huh. Angerly missing Austin. Like that could be like angrily miss Austin.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Or so you know what I mean? Yeah, if you like man, I'm gonna put it on the list. I'm gonna get rid of the in and it's just gonna be angrily miss Austin. It could be like Austin means angry. Yeah, right. Okay, okay. So that's that list.
Starting point is 00:26:23 So that's the second cheat. We got this is the last. This is the last page. This is like really like the last page. Episodium. Anodical military assault. Great guess. Not it. Another meaningless podcast. I mean, maybe. But what what do you change it to? You know what I mean? Like I don't like I do what do you change it to? You know what I mean? Like, I don't, like, I do agree. I think it's a good guess. I don't think it's it.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Because I don't, because I don't know what is a clue. What is a clue? Yeah, exactly. No, you're right. Arts and entertainers. And that's a great one. That's not it, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:27:00 Me and my best friend. That's a good one. Anonymous man in Austin. No. No. Anna Nigma. No. Any more Austin.
Starting point is 00:27:11 I don't know what you can change it to. I don't know what you can change it to. I don't either. Okay. Okay. A new Monday audio. I don't think so. No. Either that or another Monday audio. But I don't think that's, but I don't think you would say, I don't think so. No.
Starting point is 00:27:25 Either that or another Monday audio. But I don't think that's, but I don't think you would say, I don't even think that's like in his brain. No, I don't either. Same. Animation Austin, no. A new busman senior acceptance, no. Great guess, which I think was just you saying.
Starting point is 00:27:39 I'm gonna say everywhere. Yeah. Artworks, man, it's he's Neuro-Walls ants. That one's the one that's close, it'ses, Narwholes, Ants. That one's the one that's close. It's Narwholes and Ants. Dude, how fucking awesome would it be if that was it? Attention maximizer was the one that everyone was sure.
Starting point is 00:27:53 They're like, I found that URL and I know that it is attention maximizer and guess what? No, and so it's not that. And I don't know how you can change, I don't know. Anodotal magic. No. No, guess doesn't lead magic.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Anodotomosity, misadventure. Misadventure, sorry. I don't think that's it. I don't either. That magic video that we did with STF came out today as a recording and it's fun. Oh, I forgot we did that. We did that like forever ago.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Yeah, yeah. Must've been months, right? Yeah, before it worked. Yeah, like banked content or whatever. And it was just like, hey, watch a magic show. And I went, absolutely. I love watching magic. Got we did that.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Yep. Audience meet Austin. No. No. Animated mechanical animals. No. Animation. Manination.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Animation, animation. No, it's funny to me. Austin, me, Austin. Like it'd be Austin, my Austin or something. Okay, I'm gonna put that and put a question mark. But I feel like we've already said yeah asking me anything I don't think that's it don't I really don't know and I'm Gustavo No, he would not do that
Starting point is 00:28:55 He hates his name. Yes, yes He loves the name Gustavo. What do you want me call it good morning to stop? No, he doesn't want his name in it. Why? I don't know. What is that? What is that about? I don't know. Well, here, let me ask you this, because when I, when I said, hey, whatever we call it,
Starting point is 00:29:11 we should say with Gus and Jeff, and you guys both said, no, you don't want your names in it. Why didn't you want your name in it? Oh, I just don't think, I, I, I think that with Gus and Jeff is just, is too long and mouthy. It's too many, to me words. But we would never, we would never call it that, totally. Like that is to let people know it is you.
Starting point is 00:29:30 So that way it's a searchable thing and it's not a thing called fucking, andma, here we spend half an hour trying to figure out a thing. Here's the thing. We're trying to decipher a weird word. Do you feel like the Batman trying to do a riddler cipher? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:45 No, that's God. I'm like Robert Patson goes, is it a pigeon? Yeah. You're a pigeon, that's wings. Oh, what are you talking about? Oh, he's a falcon. He's in falcon.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Oh, how is Spanish is so bad is La Not El. Oh, thank you, the penguin. Oh, my God. La Not El. But Jeff is, my name sucks too. Oh my God. Why not L? But Jeff is my name sucks too like G.E.F. have to wear it and Gus is easy. It's one syllable. It's fucking punchy It's one syllable. Yeah, but it's one syllable full of like spelled weird Gus is like boom It's just like Gus out of case. I got the animal shirts. They're fucking awesome. Oh, great. Oh, so good
Starting point is 00:30:23 Austin memories again. I don't think so. No, no, no. Gus is not a sentimental guy. Austin, Memorial, great guest, but I don't think that's it. An nostalgic machinima podcast. I think there's something to it, but I don't think that's it. Okay. Anomaly.
Starting point is 00:30:39 No, I think it's going to be multiple words. Answer me anything. No, answer me, Austin. No, annoying men are doing is a good guest, but I don't think I think it's going to be multiple words. Answer me anything. No. Answer me Austin. No. Annoying men are doing is a good guess, but I don't think I think at this point, he, I think at this point, we'd already said yes. I think so. Ant-manor.
Starting point is 00:30:54 No. Anger me again. No. Episode 27 nightmare adventure. No. No. No. Absolutely no meaning actually.
Starting point is 00:31:02 No. Back pay. No, that's it. So that's as far as we got. Okay. So here's the thing. Age Vinnie says his guesses are Austin makes amends. Oh, another Mexican. Oh, no, you know what? These are the last two from episode 27. Austin makes amends and another Mexican in Austin. No, he says he does have guesses. I want to read you his. Okay, please, please, please. Now we can, we can, uh, we can rule out any guesses that use two languages because Gustavo already said that the words
Starting point is 00:31:31 making up, and my, our English only, that's good because I forgot about that. I did too. It was also stated that there was no N word in the name so we can rule that out as well. Additionally, in episode 21, Gus had said that none of the guesses that Eric and Jeff had made were close at that point. What episode was that? Episode 21. So anything before 21, he's saying we can rule out. I don't want to. I want to show all these to Gus because I don't think we. There's not a lot. I mean, Austin, my Austin is the only thing we didn't cross out. Now, he could have just been saying that to throw them off, but I think the focus should be on guesses that were made to that point.
Starting point is 00:32:15 And I can't remember which episode, but Gustavo let it slip that Anima is possibly made up of four words. This is complete conjecture, but let me just take it with a grain of salt. My gut tells me that animation has to play into the title somewhere because Gustavo has stated that it's dream logic on several occasions. My guess is that one of the words is something that you wouldn't be able to find in the dictionary. Something like animation, smanamation, whatever, or maybe Austin-Namation. Now, I think those guesses are a little off,
Starting point is 00:32:49 but boy, he did some good detective work here, because if he's right, nothing before episode 21, but something that's close, it's gotta be Austin, my Austin. Is there... Is there something like that? Is that, who's that AH Vinnie? That's good. AH underscore Vinnie.
Starting point is 00:33:04 AH underscore Vinnie. Age underscore Vinnie. Fantastic work. Incredible. Incredible. A gentleman and a scholar. Thank you, age underscore Vinnie. You are a fine member of society. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:33:17 I think we got like, we really, okay, so let's, we have a minute left. That's fine. So I'm gonna look at the ones that we do have guesses for potentially. There is at the beginning, Austin more Austin. We're saying it could be something like that or a name means anything.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Because it could be like, I don't think it's a name means anything. Okay, I'm gonna get rid of that one. See, I'm already whittling it down. Austin's not mine anymore, but I don't know how that could be worked. So I'm going to get rid of that.
Starting point is 00:33:48 But Austin, man, Austin, I'm going to keep that one on there. Okay. Another morning, Austin, because we changed it a little bit, and my Austin, but I don't know what you could change that too, so I'm going to get rid of it. An embarrassment to Austin? I don't know what you can change it to. Right, gonna get rid of it.
Starting point is 00:34:13 It's gone, I'm doing it, I'm whittling it down. Austin, my Austin. It's twice it showed up. Very interesting, because it's Austin, not my Austin, and then Austin not my Austin and then Austin my Austin Anti meta Austin any more Austin These are I think we're getting close animal it's that of animals
Starting point is 00:34:38 anatomically accurate Another morning in Austin Annoying modern Austin, Austin means Austin, Austin, me, Amigo. I like that. Angrily miss Austin. Let's see, nothing there, man. That's it. And then Austin, my Austin, it's gotta be Austin, my Austin.
Starting point is 00:35:02 It has to be. When are we recording again? It would be not next week for the week after, but we gotta bank some of the weekend. Is that right before Christmas? Yeah, we gotta bank some. So we should do a Christmas adventure at your house. Yeah, we should.
Starting point is 00:35:15 And then, yeah, with a tiny ton of setup, ready to go, and then, although I can't take credit for this one, this is 100% Emily, I did Thanksgiving. I did Halloween, although she helped a lot, and then she did pretty much all of Christmas. Great job. Yeah, she's pretty fun.
Starting point is 00:35:27 I'm excited to see it in person. Yeah. Okay, so I think we got the name. Okay. I think it's Austin, my Austin. Austin, my Austin. I hope it's Austin, my Austin. God, it's gotta be Austin, my Austin.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Please be Austin, my Austin. It's not gonna be, and it's gonna kill me. Okay, that's it for this episode. This was excellent supplemental content. Excellent. I think we figured it out. I think you're right. I think we got, I mean, at a very minimum,
Starting point is 00:35:53 we have eliminated, we've whittled the field down to a digestible amount. I hope so. Yeah. And then if he looks at these and he goes, it's none of those, I quit. Yeah, we just canceled the podcast. Yeah, yeah, we just don't do it anymore.
