Starting point is 00:00:00 Because she never visited him in jail. He was in jail for 86 days. And Robert Sr., he's a POS too. He didn't care. They mailed that kid books. He never had a shot at life. Well, Pat, Pat, all right. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Hold on, no, no. You hold on, okay? Jail is gross. Jail grossed her out. Oh. You didn't kill the mosquito. Here, do you want the off? No, what is that?
Starting point is 00:00:45 It's off. It's off. It's off. Okay, we're here. We're here to break down the Real Housewives of Salt Lake. It is... We got to be bigger than this. No, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:00:56 I'm so sick. I think you should be the master of ceremonies. Okay, because this is like the new season. I know it's a big freak. It's a BFD. Deal. Dylan's sick. Welcome to Bad TV.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Yeah. The coverage of Real House. swives of Salt Lake City. What happens that the mosquito moves to you? Then throw me the bottle of off and I'll spray it and kill it and take its complete life force out of it. What do we do about RICO laws? Because my throat's kind of on fire.
Starting point is 00:01:25 So how do we navigate that? RICO laws. Yeah. What are you trying to launder some money and call your buddies in New York City? No, no, no. I'm not talking about Rick Ross. I'm talking about Swedish cough drops. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Rickolas. Oh, Ricola. Yeah. Oh, you're going to have to take some of those? Probably. Just move your mouth off the mic when you're swishing them around your mouth, because that's going to gross people out. That's what I figured.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Okay. So Dylan's a little sick. Last month, I was sick all month. It annoyed you guys so much that I actually went to the doctor. Yeah. Turned out I was going to die. So you saved my lives technically. You literally, you literally were going to die.
Starting point is 00:02:07 You could have turned that whole thing into like, you know how in like East of Eden or, you know, olden times like a little while ago like turn of century kind of stuff people would just like get a cold and die yeah but we don't need to do that anymore because we have doctors but you almost like turn to this turn to the century like prospector back in the day dudes well i guess women too that you get pink eye and you go to like i don't even know if they had doctors then they go well well you're to lose your eyesight hey i'm record i am recording love you i got i'll call you later Okay. So we have an interesting first episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Starting point is 00:02:49 It's just, I got to turn it on do not distra. That's right. We talked about being professional the other day on the phone, didn't we, Dylan? What do you mean? Well, you accused me to not being professional because I wasn't responding back to certain texts or whatever. Oh, no, that was in person. I yelled at you in person. No, that was over the phone. No, it was in this room. Oh, it was? Yeah. Oh, okay. I would argue taking phone calls during a podcast that's one of our big. as shows is not professional. Oh, you know what? It actually was on the phone and in person. Yeah, yeah. That's right. But what you did was way worse than that. Okay, fair enough. Fair enough. All right. So what we're here to do is break down episode one of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Oh, by the way, worth mentioning Ruby is at her last concert this weekend. No, it is not.
Starting point is 00:03:37 You don't think so? If there's one thing I know about poop face, it's that there's going to be another. concert. Okay, well, I'm going to have my manager, Brian, have a strong... You know what? I have told you to keep that little mongrel at bay, but actually, it's gotten so out of hand that I'm fine with sicking Ryan on her. And the thing about Brian is that he's a unique kind of entertainment lawyer and that he does bite. He crawls and he bites. and he does not have a lot of skin or arms or legs. That's true. But if you really want to get to her,
Starting point is 00:04:16 I can reach out to my head of communications, Yahoo, and have them hack her phone and really mess with her life. I think we should do a pencer move. I think she should get stuck in the middle of both of that. But we have to talk about Real Housewives of Salt Lake. Yes, we do. And I think I should clear the air before we begin,
Starting point is 00:04:34 because this is on the free feed. Dylan and I are going back and forth whether or not we should put this behind the paywall because That would be a financial windfall for us to be quite honest. It would also be annoying to you guys. True. Because I can already hear you guys in your car right now. You're going, well, I'm not paying for that. Well, you know what?
Starting point is 00:04:55 You will after Patty expresses his. I think I got it. You got the fly? I think I got it. You know, I saw a thing. that looked like a daddy long legs in the bathroom this morning. I was going to kill it. And I took a picture of it.
Starting point is 00:05:10 It goes to the daddy long legs. No, it's a thread bug. You ever heard of a thread bug? Hmm. A thread one. Yeah, they look like daddy long legs, but they're not. But they eat like pests and stuff. So I said, you know what?
Starting point is 00:05:22 You can live today. You will live on. All right. You got to keep me on track. Keep you on track. You're on drugs? Oh my God. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Okay. All right. Well, I want to give a warning to the audience right now. for those of you that are buying into the briefcase of bullshit that Mary Cosby's a strong woman, a caring mother, this is just me.
Starting point is 00:05:43 I'm speaking for Patty, not for Dylan or Ruby. You can speak for me too. Okay. Mary Cosby's a fucking sociopath. And I will not hold back on her. And I hope we don't spend too much time this season on Mary Cosby. I hope she just floats into the background
Starting point is 00:05:59 and becomes part of the furniture and the rest of the ladies do their thing. because Mary Cosby is evil. We've kind of like forgotten there was a documentary about her about eight months ago before the passing of Robert. Yeah, it was on BBC. Okay. And sometimes you could argue that documentarians,
Starting point is 00:06:22 they have kind of an agenda with their documents. They embellish. They embellish. They can use footage and they can make you sound or create certain storylines with footage. Mary Cosby in this documentary, there is no way around shying away that she's a fucking demon. And the persona that she has created the last three seasons on this show
Starting point is 00:06:45 is not the Mary Cosby that she really is. Watch the first three seasons of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. That is the real Mary Cosby. Okay? She did not care. You want to know why I know she did not care about her son? because she never visited him in jail. He was in jail for 86 days.
Starting point is 00:07:07 And Robert Sr., he's a POS too. He didn't care. They mailed that kid books. He never had a shot at life. Well, Pat, Pat, all right. Hold on. No, no, no. You hold on, okay.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Jail is gross. Jail grossed her out. She did not want to go, as many of us don't want to do, gross things. or go to gross places, okay? So I think you're being a little hard on her. Jail is gross.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Jail is gross. And it's also scary and lonely. And the fact that they did not go there to be there for him. And guess what? A caring parent, especially people that are as wealthy as them, so she says, would have talked to professionals and asked them, what do you do when your son is a drug addict and gets out of jail? Well, a professional would say, get him out of that.
Starting point is 00:08:00 situation and get him in a sober living house for six months where there are going to be rules, consequences. There'll be people there to essentially protect him from himself. Did Mary Cosby talk to professionals? Maybe, but I doubt she did because he came right home, went up to that bedroom, and then three weeks later fell right back in. And when are you most likely to overdose is right out of jail? Because you've lowered your tolerance. So the first time you take a drug, well, she should have known this if she gave a fuck. I am pissed. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:34 No, it's a really tragic story. And obviously, Mary Cosby's still a human. And, you know, as parents are our biggest fear, take me. I don't care. But having to live without your child is hell on earth. what I will say about Mary, and this is where I break a little bit from Pat, and we talk about this all the time where you can be empathetic to the circumstances that lead someone to do something. But once somebody does something, you know, i.e., somebody in our comments going, Nathan, who choked his girlfriend out is, you know, obviously suffering the consequences of traumatic childhood. you know, we should extend empathy to him.
Starting point is 00:09:27 It's like, I got that. I got all that. And that sucks. But, um, no. Right. No. We're not going to. So Mary Cosby.
Starting point is 00:09:37 By the way, I'll, I'll hear that out for a 17 year old. Mm-hmm. Who is brains not fully developed yet, doesn't understand consequences possibly. I'm not going to hear that about a 32 year old man. Well, let's talk about brains being fully developed because I think that Mary Cosby is the victim of coming up in an, an environment of psychopathy. The reason why they didn't go through the traditional routes to save Robert's life is because
Starting point is 00:10:06 they are part of a cult. Her brain is not developed because she was raised in an environment that thinks that a magic superpower in the sky can heal things and intervene when you need it the most. Now, I'm not saying that people who are spiritual, or religious are stupid. I don't think that at all, but when you can't break from such radical outlooks, there's something wrong with your brain because you're actively hurting the people around you. Mary Cosby is not necessarily a psychopath. She's just a dumb, dogmatic woman who thinks that life is a fucking C.S. Lewis book, and it's not. You can't walk through wardrobes. People can't
Starting point is 00:10:54 prey addiction away. You have to fucking get help or you're going to die. Boy, are you giving her a lot of grace. I don't think that's what was on her mind at all. I think she still goes to doctors. He went to a treatment center for like three weeks. You really? Well, yeah, yeah. I mean, listen, get in the comments. Let us know what you think. It's an interesting thing because the kid never had a chance. I feel so bad for that kid that these were his parents. Me too. Because they were not emotionally there for him. And I just cannot stand that these fellow cast members have to fucking, and they are,
Starting point is 00:11:37 pretending. Well, Whitney's not. What's Whitney behaving like? Well, she shows up to the kind of prologue wake. Everybody's just devastated the passing of Robert. And she says, guys, we've got a lot to work on. Okay, Meredith was lying about me all last season. Okay, but fair enough.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Fair enough. Okay, wait. And a little bit. They feel bad for the passing of Robert, but the fact that they have to fake like they think she was a good mother, that is an act because they know that they can't do anything other than that.
Starting point is 00:12:11 And that's reality. If we fucking put some truth serum in any one of those ladies, they'd say she's a horrible fucking mother. Monster. End of my rant. And we've talked about it. I mean, you see your kid walk down the stairs zonked on whatever the fuck he's zonked on.
Starting point is 00:12:26 You've seen children are, by and large, you know, there are a couple wishing well boys, right? But those, there's beautiful in their own right. Children are by and large filled with light. I mean, there's just a purity to their behavior. Like, you can see it because it's so what it is. If you raise your child,
Starting point is 00:12:48 and you see him zombieed out on the steps multiple, multiple, multiple times, prayer will not fix it. And whether that's actively monstrous or just indoctrinated into some kind of fucking insane stupidity that's so dangerous that people actually die from it, I don't know. But it's very, very sad. And we're here to have a good time, man. We are. I mean, what the heck.
Starting point is 00:13:12 And we will. I think you did great. Thank you. And I kind of, I'm not, I kind of do agree. You see what I'm saying? I kind of do agree with you. Okay. You know.
Starting point is 00:13:26 I don't think you watch the doc, the three part of her where you get to. And by the way, we have this stupid Samsung TV in our living room. They have a channel dedicated to the Housewives. Yeah. And it actually just reverts back to the Samsung channel. They have a channel dedicated to the Housewives. I've been watching the old episodes of Real Housewives of Salt Lake. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Where you see a younger Mary Cosby. And it's not even the same person. Can I not to, I know that there's like, we got to talk about the whole show and we will. But in the doc, she is, and I haven't seen all of it, but we've talked about it and, you know, clips, whatever. It's in my periphery. She is power hungry and has a lot of criminal behavior as well. Yes. Correct.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Okay. So I'm going to understand where you wouldn't buy the line of bullshit. where this is kind of like a dogmatic poison. She's more just a like dark entity walking on earth right now. Actually, you know what, Dylan, I'm going to. Yeah, yeah. Okay, because at some point, at some point, Dylan, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:39 One of the, oh, I actually don't have it here. Damn it, it's on my other phone. But at some point, one of the ladies say that, actually, I'll save that for, I'll save that for later because I got to find this clip. Actually, can you talk for a minute? I'm going to look for it. Yeah, for sure. We've got a great season coming up, I think.
Starting point is 00:14:58 It's going to be really fun to see the ladies out on their feet, you know, flapping their wings and flapping gums. I mean, Braun went shacked up with quite a haughty. I mean, my goodness, that guy is such a looker. And then Wetney, I mean, God knows what's happening to Wetney. I will say that the main thing, and I'll just get my snowballs out of the way right now. Oh, yeah. I will say the main problem I had with this episode, and it actually concerns me very, very much.
Starting point is 00:15:24 and I did a little sleuthing. Oh, I got it. Okay. Okay. Sorry. Oh, no, go ahead. Can I finish your thought? Yeah, yeah, sorry.
Starting point is 00:15:31 The one thing that really concerned me about this episode is that my favorite housewife, Cindy Lou Who, was not present this episode. No. And I am very, very concerned that she is being relegated and not upgraded because to me, she is simply put magic. I give this episode 14 snowballs. Okay. Well, at some point in the episode, very early on, I think, maybe it's Meredith Marks. She says, you know, Mary Cosby, she did everything she could, and you know, she's never asked anybody for anything.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Did you hear what she said there? No. It was her birthday and she'd only received four birthday cards. And she says, I don't like poor people around me. And if you don't give me your money, you're poor or you're stingy. Either way, you're poor. Right. This is your pastor at your church.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Yeah. That's Mary Cosby. Yeah, I mean, Pat. She wasn't doing stand-up. Pat, you got to, again, four birthday cards. I mean, it's a little light. And poor people are disgusting. So jail is disgusting.
Starting point is 00:17:24 She thinks that too. Yeah, I mean, she's right. No, she's an absolute monster. Correct. All right. Shall we begin? Who's worse? Eileen Warnos or Mary Cosby.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Who's Eileen Warnos? Oh, monster. Oh, the woman who killed all those guys? Yeah. Oh, I mean, she's worse. She killed people. I know, but... I guess they kind of had it coming, right?
Starting point is 00:17:48 Not picking up the mantle of motherhood. I mean, you could argue. you. Coin toss. Yeah. We're here to have a good time, man. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:59 We begin the show. No, you have to give your snowballs. Oh, excellent episode, 100 snowballs. I gave it 14. Did you give it 100 because 14 was taken? I gave it 100 because I've been watching such dog shit television with Real Housewives of Orange County. This was such a wonderful, like, just a different type of presentation where there's
Starting point is 00:18:20 actual stories. I'm interested in the cast. Yeah, we saw Luke today on O.C. And he does have pandas or something. That's one of Emily's storylines. She hates her husband and her, she uses her son as a storyline that he's not doing well. Great. And by the way, her husband said, I think, in that episode that he hopes that his wife will eventually be able to have more time to spend with her children. Don't worry, Shane. After this season, she will. Don't worry. You'll have all, she'll have all the time in the world. It's going to take a little because she's not going to necessarily adjust to the free time very well. So she'll be in her bedroom a lot. It'll be a dungeonous kind of place. But I think after about a year, maybe two years, right before the kids
Starting point is 00:19:07 are about to go to college, she'll come out and spend some time with everybody. Sure. Yeah. Okay. Are you drinking a Celsius right now? I haven't opened it. Would you go to the gas station? I got to keep you focused. Okay, sorry. All right. We begin the episode. We're in Mary Cosby and Robert Sr.'s kitchen. Nice to see Robert Sr.
Starting point is 00:19:27 He hasn't been around, living in a different state. Robert Jr. has just been released after a run of 86 days in jail. I thought she was talking to the uncle that left screws in the pew. That's her husband and step-grandfather. Oh. Yeah. And you'll never guess where Robert Jr. is. He's up in his bedroom sleeping.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Yeah. And so, um, he's survived like four or five knife ambushes. So, you know, let him rest right now. Right. Then we cut to, I guess this is three weeks later when we get all the reactions of the cast finding out. Bronwyn says she was shocked. Yeah, you, you were shocked as, uh, about as much as when, uh, Todd orders a second bread basket at the olive garden, okay? Uh-huh. All right, that was a joke there. Tough crowd, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:24 All right. Meredith Mark says you can't control things, even if you do everything right. What do you think the most breadbasket? I don't know how she said that with a straight face. What do you think the most bread baskets he's ordered is? Three. You think? You ate them all.
Starting point is 00:20:41 And then I, Bronwyn probably wanted one. Yeah, I think Bronwyn had one. I didn't think you wanted any. Out of the first book. I didn't think you wanted. at any bro you always speak up when you want something and then and then so he's gotten through the third
Starting point is 00:20:55 and he's just scarpettoing all everything he's taking it he's just rubbing it and sauce and he's eating it and he gets to the bottom of the third basket and he puts the hand up and he's gonna get it forth and brawn once has something like a booby or some fucking
Starting point is 00:21:11 pet name and he does not speak to her for the rest of the night and actually shoves her it when they get home oh I'm really happy that she divorced him. They're not divorced yet. Come on, get out of here. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:24 Well, then we get, I guess, Heather, Whitney, Lisa, Braun, and I guess all the ladies' mirth marks, they all get together at Angie's home that looks like an office building and a strip mall. These houses in Utah are very weird. The girls have decided to get together
Starting point is 00:21:40 in peace to honor Mary Cosby and Robert Jr.'s memory Because nothing says you truly mean, something truly meant something to you like eating Baclavah and filming a reality TV show. Am I right? Uh-huh. Right?
Starting point is 00:21:53 Yeah. Yeah. So we've got three divorcees now. We have, well, we have Braun, uh, Angie and Whitney. Yeah. So that's three. Yeah. Well, Heather and.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Heather's been divorced. Right. Right. So ladies process the event of losing a child and Angie shares how Mary Cosby's coping. Um, then Lisa discusses how they can help Mary Cosby's. we get through this. And Heather G. Heather brings up that Robert's passing is a reminder that life is fleeting and maybe we shouldn't be mean to each other. Good luck with that.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Whitney goes, I'm heartbroken by this, but I just want you guys to recognize that the jewelry was not coming from Timo. Whitney, come on. All right. He's kids dead. We got a storyline here, Whitney. Come on. Let's focus. Let's focus, okay? Um, okay. So then the ladies share their, their stories about Robert. Oh boy.
Starting point is 00:22:58 These were one time. This is where I wanted to ask you if, because Andy tells that story about him coming down and giving, uh, a lecture that compliment where he said, you, you have nice eyes. And I, we're of the,
Starting point is 00:23:15 we're of the same mind often. Um, by the way, his eyes or at least his okay yeah so his pupils were the size of okay of records all right when he said that so when i heard that story i immediately thought that got to get in here and cut him off at the past because what i thought you were going to say is you know what i'm not even going to go there this is where i wish that you know we were fully on patreon so we could just, but it doesn't matter. Okay, this is really, really sad.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Yeah, what's sad about it is that you actually have no stories to talk about this young man because he didn't do anything. No. He lived up in that room because he had shit parents that didn't do anything with him. They were both checked out. Yeah. Because when you're a kid, you go out and you're into things. He was clearly not into anything because that's your parents' responsibility to get you
Starting point is 00:24:23 into things. Right. It's fucking sad. Yeah. So the other story is he was excited about fashion into fashion. Yeah. But he didn't do anything with it. No.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Great. That's your fucking legacy. I hate those parents. I truly do. You could argue they killed him. Well, I don't want to go that far. But by the way, a little funny personal story. When I own that tour company, I think I've told this before.
Starting point is 00:24:53 There was a mechanic, John, sweet old Armenian man. and he fixed all my tour buses. He was an okay mechanic. He kind of a comedian. He'd go, he'd finish a job. And then I'd go, how much he owe me? How much do you think? I'm like, all right, don't play this fucking game with me.
Starting point is 00:25:09 How much do I owe you? Anyway, nice guy. One day I get, someone tells me. What do you mean he was an okay mechanic? I mean, he'd fix something and three weeks later and fucking break again, right? So, but anyway, you get what you pay for. So anyway, he dies of a heart attack.
Starting point is 00:25:26 on the job. So I'm walking down the street one day, and I walk past what was his house. And I see a bunch of people gathered outside. And I said, oh, was this John's house? And they go, yeah, this is like his Armenian memorial. And I was like, oh, I knew John. And then they go, like, all these Armenian guys,
Starting point is 00:25:49 they go, come inside his wife's here. She'd love to talk to you. I'm like, oh, no, no, no, no. They pull me inside. They sit me down. They give me an Armenian coffee one thing. I got all these desserts in the other hand. They sit me down and they go,
Starting point is 00:26:03 his wife would like you to share some stories about her husband. So I'm like, oh, Jesus Christ, what the fuck? Yeah. She doesn't speak English, by the way. So they got to translate my, and I'm a good storyteller. Yeah. So I go, all right, well, one time, so I got a story, John came down, I was in a, really needed him.
Starting point is 00:26:24 I was in a fix. I had to get this transmission switched and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, he made my day. He saved the tour, blah, blah, blah. They share it to her, tear comes down her eye. Everyone's happy. And I'm like, hey, you know, I got to kind of go, hey, she loved that story. How about another one? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Like, Jesus fucking Christ, I don't have another one. Yeah. So I make one up. What'd you say? I just made a story up. You know, I am very happy that. I'm a creative guy. No, I, no.
Starting point is 00:26:58 I know. When you're at an Armenian wake, you have to call the coffee Armenian coffee. You do. You cannot call it Turkish coffee. I think in, you know, you're over somebody's house. You know, I have Turkish coffee. Then they go, you know what, actually it's Armenian, but you can't do it at the wake. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:18 So I'm really happy that, yeah, you didn't put your foot in your mouth there. No, no, no, no. Yeah. But that's a beautiful story. And death is so multivariate. You know what I mean? It's powerful. Our kids might not have to die.
Starting point is 00:27:38 No, everybody has to die. Well, I think so. It brings meaning to our lives. Yeah, well, yeah. But listen, we're just trying to have a good time here. Yeah, all right. I'm fine. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Where are we here? Okay, so we get through those wonderful stories. Oh, and then for a fleeting second, everyone looks at each other, and they really contemplate the possibility of moving forward. with no fighting, and then they realize how fucking insane that thought was. And then Winty hints that she wants to rebuild some lost trust with Meredith Marks. And I think she brings up that jewelry line again, and they say, shut the fuck up. Then we get to Lisa's house.
Starting point is 00:28:17 This was a little weird. I've been craving a grilled cheese, so I'm going to try to make one. Okay. Okay. So her son, Jack, and Henry are home. And Lisa lets us know making grilled cheese sandwiches with goat cheese for her kids makes her realize how lucky she is. It should also make her realize that she needs to be institutionalized because goat cheese is disgusting and it smells like wet goat. It really does.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Rarely do you get a food that actually smells like the exterior of an animal? I think that probably in about 2000, I think goat cheese had a real good run from about 2007 to 2011 or maybe 12, I want to say. There was a lot of goat cheese on stuff. And I'm good with it now. I am as well. Yeah, I'm all right with it. I don't have the animosity that you have towards the ingredient. I welcome goat cheese, but definitely don't need it in my life.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Right. But do you agree that the smell of the actual cheese on the cheese board smells like the actual animal? Can't even conceive of the concept of smelling anything right now. So I can't, yeah. Well, we learned Jack's been pulling a lot of ass since he's been living at home. Yeah, Jack and Baby Gorgeous are both getting after the bitches. and Lisa Barlow is, I'm confused about how pious these people are.
Starting point is 00:29:37 I say that, I'm not. They're not. They're not. Then the boys take a hike. And then John and Lisa discuss wanting their house to always be a safe place for their family. This was a long overdue conversation wherein John finally apologized for being frustrated over being in a marriage. wherein not a syllable of a word he has ever spoken has ever been heard. Or mattered.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Or mattered. Yes. And he says, for that, I apologize. And Lisa says, oh, good. And then we get to move on. I'm sure if Ruby was here, she might have a different take on the scenario. But Lisa Barlow is, listen, she's a disco ball for this television show, right? But she is an evil one.
Starting point is 00:30:31 She is a tour to force. Yeah. Okay. Then Lisa tells you. I mean, that poor fuck. Do you remember what happened last season where he was like, you don't listen to me? I'm trying to tell you like, I'm having problems in our marriage. I'm hurting.
Starting point is 00:30:44 And she's, you know, he's apologizing. Maybe I have it wrong, but I mean, it's crazy. It takes two to tango, but I think that she does steamroll him quite a bit. I mean, she is a big personality. So let's see. Well, Lisa tells John under a lot of pressure. with the church. She's been trying to provide for the family.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Anyway, they're good now, which is more than we can say for the rest of the fucking cast, because I think they're all divorced. All right. Braun and Whitney, a little pickleball with winter jackets on. Yeah, this is where we get to the pickleball court that we have seen before on this show. This was the stage where we were introduced to Brittany. Ah. Three seasons ago or two seasons ago.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Did we see her holding a snowball? Is she a part of this main cast? I'm completely confused and scared. Okay. Because if she is not on this cast, I'm going to have a pretty big problem. Mary Cosby has a special disdain for that woman. I know. Well, they discuss Robert's funeral, and then Braun mentions Todd's offered to come home.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Oh, wow. What a delight. And then Braun tells Whitney that Todd still thinks he's got a shot. and then shares their public personas were a little different than what was taking place in the house. What was taking place? Well, basically he was a controlling prick, which I think we all gleaned from even watching the show. I don't know. Maybe this is gross, but I feel like he, I feel like he put hands on her.
Starting point is 00:32:18 I just feel like he did. I don't know. There's something. He just feels like such a bad guy. I think he was an old. Comodian Controlling Comudgeon That just felt like he owned her
Starting point is 00:32:33 And then she was very submissive And they'd lived in that arrangement For a very, very long time And she probably tolerated it Because he was paying the bills And taking care of her daughter. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:44 So anyway, let's see. It's probably why he turned into such a fucking asshole Because once she's out of the house, that's all Bronwyn needed. So I don't know if he felt that Like it was coming to an end. I, then.
Starting point is 00:32:57 My wife, I think relationships occasionally when you don't, you get pretty comfortable in your roles and you don't realize the other person's starting to really fucking resent you for, if there's too much power with the other person and the other person's not appreciating you, my wife and I just had a recalibration in the last couple weeks and it's been really nice. You every once in a while,
Starting point is 00:33:21 you need a recalibration. All right. Well, then we learn about Brandon, and bronze new arm candy. And Brandon is a version of Todd. If Todd had a son who knew a guy that worked at a modeling agency who repped male models that looked like Brandon.
Starting point is 00:33:39 I didn't follow that, but I'm really under the weather. So I'm sure I made perfect sense. Imagine having sex with someone you want to have sex with. Isn't that nice? That's crazy. Right? Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Well, the Convo then turns to Whitney wanting to apologize to Lisa and Meredith Marks for whooping up too much at those events and using alcohol as a coping mechanism. I believe I'm referring to BravoCon or those events where she'll go to like drag queen.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Whitney's a booze bag. Yeah. Yeah, she had to get rid of this stuff. Yeah. Because you can hear the audience cheering. You're like, you know, Lisa's a C-U-N-T. And everyone's like, whoa! You know what? She's a real C-U. And then before you know it, it's
Starting point is 00:34:25 Boob is out. Yeah. People are cheering. They want the other one. It's not good. All right. Well, let's get to Heather, Heather's house.
Starting point is 00:34:39 George's home, and she loves it. But she loves that all three girls have left the house. But there's more important things to talk about. And that's, uh, Heather has a date. And it's a guy named Tripp.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Trip. Tripp has a motorcycle. Yeah. And he doesn't have a necktack, too, but everything else about him shouts he's a huge fan of offspring. Outside of the world or the level of pure and true evil, meaningful evil, there is nothing that I hate more in life than this. Type. Type. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:35:22 That vehicle, the people that drive that drive that. vehicle, I think are unanimously loathed by the rest of the planet. There is a very, very small pod of people that accept that kind of lifestyle and what that vehicle does to the people around it. There's a very small percentage of people that think that's cool, and they all gather at trash heaps across the United States of America. But everyone else hates you guys so much. They're impervious to it.
Starting point is 00:36:04 It's unbelievable. You want to know. It's unbelievable. Dylan, you're going to love this. God, I fucking hate these people. So there was a bike club, a bunch of motorcycle douchebags. Yeah. That would, on Saturday nights on Hollywood Boulevard, in front of my fucking store,
Starting point is 00:36:21 would all hang out there in front of a pizza place that sold beer. and they'd probably be about 20 of them, and they'd stay there all night to like midnight and just fucking stare at all the girls that were going out to the clubs. And so what I would do, because they only have so much time when they're trying to figure out
Starting point is 00:36:43 where they're going to basically put their bikes because there's so many of where they're going to park them, right? I'd intentionally have my guys park my tour buses to just block their spots. And they hated me for it. Yeah. But there's nothing they could fucking do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:58 I hated those guys that much. Go from somewhere else. I mean, it's a... Go from, from, rum, rum, remember. It's a... It's a legendary South Park episode where they redefine the term F-A-G. But anyways, Tripp is one of these guys. Tripp.
Starting point is 00:37:13 I can't... This is not going to go well. And especially once we learned that they'd already been a couple. Oh, yeah. In 2016, he was cheap. Well, he's a different guy that. He's grown so much. You know, he was, you know, he was only, 42 and now he's.
Starting point is 00:37:29 He was only 48 that. Right. He's grown so much. Yeah. Okay. Well, she shares, uh, she's in love and they hang and bang and yeah, they date in 2006. And, uh, they breeze right by the fact that he was cheating in a piece of shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Good luck with that, Heather. Uh, anyway, Georgia joins them. Yeah. Down comes the daughter. Oh, yeah. Starts the inquiry of the, the, uh, the interrogation. And, uh, she's there to figure out if he actually is a Swifty. I think Heather's daughter was, you know, when, when news broke that the wedding was happening at MSG,
Starting point is 00:38:04 there were people that were going to New York to just be outside of the venue. And it doesn't, wouldn't surprise me if Heather's daughter thought about or did go. These people are nowhere near as bad as motorcycle people, but they are interesting. Very, yeah. Okay, so anyway, he passes with flying colors. All right, we're at Todd's house with. Muzzy. I miss Muzzle. Oh, let's do this fucking goblin.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Well, you know, Muzzy watched herself on TV and was pretty pissed. So we, um, sometimes you see yourself on, uh, on TV and it, uh, gives you a little insight into how you need to be, uh, behave the next time the camera show. Yeah, it's a really, really good observation because she does seem to have underwent some kind of character PR. That's right. because it's a much softer, more caring muzzle here. Muzzy.
Starting point is 00:38:59 Well, they discussed the future, and Braun wants to buy a house of her own, and we learned they have not filed for divorce yet, and she's traveled the world with Brandon. I think this is going way too fast, my opinion. And did you know this? Todd forgot her 40th birthday party, that big... I bet he didn't forget to order that extra breadbasket,
Starting point is 00:39:21 that piece of shit. anyway, uh, Muzzy kind of comforts Braun win and Muzzy warns Braun about dating. And, uh, that's about the end of that combo. Yeah, yeah, she's evil. Yeah. And then, uh, Meredith Marks and Lisa hang out. They discuss the GLAD Awards. And then, uh, then Meredith Marks, uh, tells us that she had some work done.
Starting point is 00:39:44 And she does look fucking phenomenal. Uh, yeah, it's, uh, I think, listen, I don't know how plastic surgery works. I know that there's swelling. But is there kind of like... I think they got to just move on to cosmetic surgery. There's no more plastic involved. Oh, okay. So cosmetic surgery,
Starting point is 00:40:03 um, you know how like a baseball glove or a good shoe or any piece of fine leather takes a little bit to break in? Mm-hmm. Will her face kind of like fall back down to a quasi-normal spot on the head? Hmm. It's pretty like,
Starting point is 00:40:21 whoa hi you look like an emoji you think so i thought her work looks spectacular i thought it looked really natural i think she's always gorgeous yeah the work is getting so good and her husband is on next gen a left in a poll seth looks amazing too whatever he got done yeah they both look 10 years younger than they are yeah but it's sad that uh conrad or whatever his name is no no brook brooks no is that it brook he lost a glad awards to those fucking pieces of shit over at southern charm who are the nicest kids um but it was heartbreaking to hear that he lost out on that award now we wrap with um i think a little combo we got a couple we got a couple more uh no no no we we wrap these two ladies yeah with uh let's see here uh they share uh that her and john are good and then uh
Starting point is 00:41:18 Marith Marks responds empathetically. And then the plot thickens. Did Lisa say, wait, I was going to ask Ruby if she was here. Did Lisa say they almost got divorced? Yeah. Okay. Lisa says that she watched that scene back. Right.
Starting point is 00:41:39 And she was weeping while watching her husband say, I don't feel hurt in our marriage. Okay. And she, after drying her eyes, seriously considered divorcing him again for sitting at that table and saying that I want to be heard more in our marriage. And I feel like I'm voiceless. Okay. Let's put the divorce, put her on divorce alert. Then they discuss Whitney and her meaningless apologies and they, uh, they know Whitney actually secretly hates both of them.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Uh, then we pick back up at Mary Cosby's and, uh, and junior, uh, Jr's, uh, dog Cray, um, For anybody questioning my hatred for Mary Cosby, can you imagine losing a loved one and a few weeks later allowing strangers and a film crew into the personal space of the person who passed? I don't know that anybody was confused about... Oh, my hatred of her? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:36 She just keeps upping the Annie. Who would allow cameras into your son's bed? That's where he died. I mean... It's tough. It's tough. No, she's a little. She's a monstrous human being.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Ask yourself, unless you're a fucking sociopath. What's up with the criminal charges? I thought that she was like had heat on her from the DOJ or something like that. Didn't she fucking defraud a bunch of people? I don't think so unless people take civil action against her. But, you know, if they just give her money at the church, I mean, one thing, actually, I don't know how to answer that. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:43:18 I don't think so, though. But she survived that hit piece. this season would have been, if she decided to show up and be a cast member, this season would have been all about that documentary on her. Well, I talked to another podcaster this week that sent me a message who shall remain nameless that said they wouldn't be surprised if she was relieved their son passed because she gets to not have to deal with the heat of that documentary. Right.
Starting point is 00:43:47 That's how much of a sociopath she is. Jesus Christ. Praise Lord. There are people that evil out there. Lord help us. Lord help us. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I mean, listen, we're just here to have a good time. Right, right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:44:03 All right. All right. Well, anyway, Mary Cosby then tells us his memorial was one of the most beautiful things. And then she doesn't know how to thank all the well-wishers. Okay. And then, let's see. The ladies head over. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Then Meredith Marks arrives to comfort Mary. then the rest of the girls arrive. And then... Can I... A small detail, and really not that small. There are butlers. I think there are three butlers there. And, you know, Robbie Hoffman has this...
Starting point is 00:44:37 You know the comedian, Robbie Hoffman? Mm-mm. Very, very funny comedian. Talking about how... Poor people are more generous. than rich people are. And when you walk into a poor person's house or a working class person's house,
Starting point is 00:44:56 it's always like, go to the fridge, go get a soda. And then, you know, and come play. And it's very, very relaxed. Walking into Mary Cosby's house with these butlers, when they're just like a couple of people coming over,
Starting point is 00:45:16 it's so fucking strange. It's so, strange. I don't know that I would feel so tense being in that house with the fucking white glove staff for no reason for friends
Starting point is 00:45:32 coming over. It's so fucking weird. She creeps me out, dude. She's like a horror movie character. Sorry I just keep beating a dead horse, but in the documentary, when they show her, she was a complete like mess as a teenager.
Starting point is 00:45:48 Like drugs, alcohol. going out just like non-religious. And it wasn't until her grandmother died. Right. That she showed up at the church. She had been kicked out of the church because she wasn't behaving. And then she took up with her grandfather. And then all of a sudden she's knighted as the head of the church.
Starting point is 00:46:10 And we hear this from her in this moment where she's sitting down with the ladies. And she says that her sister and her brother, not only did not attend the funeral, they've not said a thing to her about their nephew dying. So that's where I get to like the environment is strange because the whole family are psychos. I mean, well, she's estranged from her entire family. They all hate her. Her mother passed. I know, but to not reach out when when your sibling's son passes away is fucking crazy.
Starting point is 00:46:49 I agree with that. Anyways, we're just here to have a good. time. We are. I think it's going to be a great season. They, they can only spend an episode or two on this passing. And then I know. I think we're done with this. Yeah, and then we'll move on. Okay. All right. So then the girls are there. We then, um, then here that, uh, says that Mary is a quiet person and she's never heard her ask for help. I already played that, uh, clip. Uh-huh. Yeah. And then, uh, everyone is there and they thank everyone for being there. And then the ladies thank Mary for showing them light.
Starting point is 00:47:26 And then Mary Cosby thanks to everyone individually for their help and says, God has given me family. She's referring to the cast of this show. And points out that they are, they're actually family because the blood relatives didn't show up. What a beautiful family these women have formed. We will be back next week to break down more of this telehealth. television show. Get in the comments. I think, I think
