Starting point is 00:01:06 Yeah, I cried. I'm really crying. Why did you cry? You don't know this guy. How could you cry for a guy? Oh, you're so silly. No, you're so silly. No, you're so silly.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Oh, yes, I do. No, I'm not plenty about that. You're silly. Oh, listen. about that you're silly You've not gained 20 pounds. 15. No, you look great. Ready to rock? Yeah, let's do it. Joining us on the blower from parts unknown is none other than, we don't know
Starting point is 00:01:54 or well, I mean, she's a bit of a lightning rod, a point of contention this season. Definitely divisive on season. I'm on her side, though. Season 25 of Below Deck OG. It is none other than Alyssa. Thank you very much for joining us Hello everyone. Thank you for having me. I really appreciate it Dylan
Starting point is 00:02:12 It's always very awkward when you've said horrible things about people and then nice enough to come on the show But I've said some nice things about Alyssa as well. I have I think I have to I think I've said some nice things about Alyssa Oh my God, you're a hair. I think I have two. I think I've said some nice things about Alyssa. Yeah. Alyssa, we'll get into the war between Camille and Alyssa, but before we do, we ask this same question of every guest that's horrifically boring,
Starting point is 00:02:34 but it's important to get some context. So pack, take it away. Well, Dylan mocks me for this question, but in fact, the audience is very fascinated and interested how these people come to be cast members on this show And it's not me asking it this week. It's Serene Allen a baby barnacle. Hey Alyssa, how'd you get on the show? Well, obviously it's a very long interview process. I would say it's an investment to go on. You definitely have to like get dressed up, you know, interview
Starting point is 00:03:05 over Skype, zoom, whatever, but it's, I don't even know how I got in the show. Honestly, it's the process they knew nothing about. I just showed up and smiled and told them a little bit about myself and they were like, hey, she's got to come on. Yeah. So I don't mean to be a dick or. You said obviously a rigorous or extensive process and to us it would seem Pretty half hazard, you know, they just they they just let whoever come on these boats But they they definitely picked you for entertainment purposes and also because of your CV career
Starting point is 00:03:38 And then as you mentioned the boobs as well. What's the next question? Well Christine Camero wants to know So how long have you worked in the the odding industry before being on the show? Before being on the show, I had only been in the industry for a year and a half. I was mainly full stew kind of working by myself, working my ways up. I don't know if anybody knows this, but I actually had no bartending experience previous to the show I googled everything, YouTube's everything, and really like, you know, if I don't know something,
Starting point is 00:04:09 there's other ways, other resources. And now easily, I mean, if you don't know something nowadays, it's because you're fucking lazy. You just won't pick up your phone and Google it. I need you talking about Camille. No, babe, I'm not talking about me. Stop it. It's about me right now. Okay. So let's get into some of this season's
Starting point is 00:04:32 drama now. We're coming hot off the heels of your Trist with the Caligula type monster known as Ross. He's a sex addict and a very very dangerous young man. Do you think that you stepped on anyone's toes that evening Alyssa? You know what I'm not about Being unsure I went right to the source and I asked you know Are you having a thing with her are you guys you know exclusive know, exclusive? Is this, you know, flirtatious? Could I have known that they kiss? Right.
Starting point is 00:05:07 So you only know what you see, what you hear, what people tell you. And I mean, I know you've seen it. I'm all about my work. I'm very into the work, especially when the guest is on board, I really don't have any time to be like gossiping or getting the scoop. So I had no idea that they kissed.
Starting point is 00:05:23 I know I asked Ross. I know before I kissed Ross, I went to Katie and was like what's in you know I Don't really Have my eyes on anyone in particular like I don't like raw. I never you'll never catch me saying Oh Ross is cute. Oh Ross is attractive. You will never hear those words right my mouth. Right. I was learning with him out of like, oh, this is, you know, stress, night out. And I know he's on the same vibe. Like he's very like, oh, let's be stressed. Some people flirt.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Some people joke. I think we had a very casual kind of like, I had it really interacted with him. So if there's bands you're going on, I mean, I talked with everybody. I don't know. I literally got it from the voices. No, technically, Alyssa, Ross is a lying sex addict.
Starting point is 00:06:09 So getting it from the horse's mouth would have been to Katie in my opinion, because men lie. Yeah, especially sex addict horses. Whoa, whoa. To Katie, you're saying Ross belongs to Katie because no, no, no. No, no, no. In the several days, we were on Charter 2 or something. So that means it was like seven days in. belongs to Katie because no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no like, this is mine. And I asked her, I was like, you know, I'm flirting to flirt.
Starting point is 00:06:47 And I was trying to have open dialogue, which is what I'm really about, because I like to be transparent. So it's kind of like, okay, well, I believe she's 11 or 12 years my senior. So I was like, if I'm talking to this grown woman, she hasn't said, I'm really into him. I have feelings for him or we kiss, or you know, we've been physical. That's the perfect time to share that girl
Starting point is 00:07:10 on girl information with me, but she's 12 years, you're senior. Yeah, I was 22 when I was on this show. I think I was like the youngest ever to be on below duck. Oh, got it. Okay. Wow. So let's go back a little bit. We got Alyssa for a little bit here, but let's let's let's tension questions. Well, that my role is to fight with the guests.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Your role is to try to get them to not hang out. There you go. Yeah. All right, Katie Lunder wants to know because we asked a question of Benny on I forget which incarnation he was on this franchise, but we want to know. Blodic Dananda. Rachel's a fantastic cook.
Starting point is 00:07:49 How was the cooking for the crew? Um, the cooking for the crew is amazing. Always super hot, fresh, lots of variety. She always like had healthier options, which is a big thing because like sometimes you get fucking pizza and ice cream and whatever's in the freezer But yeah, she always made sure we were taking care of everybody really adored Rachel. She was there to work and I mean As being me, you know, I can only appreciate that All right, here's another softball. I actually think this is uh, you're not gonna be able to answer this question
Starting point is 00:08:22 But Megan maker wants to know where do you guys keep all the tip money while you're on the boat? Where do you keep the booty? They spend it. Oh, that's right. Where do we keep the tip money? Yeah, sometimes we take a little bit and spend it and the rest is a past and I don't know the idea where that shit is. All I know is I got my teeth. So, wow, it's in my account now. Okay, second, congratulations. I don't know if we can ask this question, but what the hell they'll let us know if we can.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Diana Robbins wants to know, who's a better captain to work with? Sandy or Lee? You know, I haven't worked very much with Captain Sandy yet, so I'm really excited. I'm obviously super driven and super big on growing within the industry, So I'm excited for that. Captain Lee, what Little A did see of him was extremely encouraging. You always want to
Starting point is 00:09:11 be with a nice captain that you feel like you can go to and talk to and you know him not being in the best of health. I think it really helped me back from opening up about my problems because you can physically see what's going on with him. Right. That's media training right there, Dylan. Yeah, I mean, unbelievable media training. That's a dodging question.
Starting point is 00:09:34 You're so good, Melissa. Some people just answer the damn question and get in trouble. I have no word. Too much of a sandwich. No, I'm being a little much of a sad. Yeah. That's incredible. Okay. All right. How was Frazier as a manager so far?
Starting point is 00:09:52 You know what? So far Frazier has been everything. Almost everything that I needed out of a manager. Everything I thought I needed. You know, nice, encouraging. When you do get so strong, he's always there to give you a second chance. But I felt a lot of pressure with Himal,
Starting point is 00:10:12 and I let him know that, hey, I'm feeling this pressure, hey, I'm feeling this pushback. Hey, I'm not comfortable with this. Hey, I'm stressed out. Hey, I'm going to bed crying actually now. And it's like, there was no point where I felt like he had no point where I felt like
Starting point is 00:10:25 He had my back. I felt like it was really all about you know saving space and you have to be cool with everybody and Right. I definitely felt like there was Moments where he needed to step in and he didn't Um, but I can't blame him for that. I'm always trying to be a nice person as well, but It's definitely burned me in the end. And I was like such a hard worker for a phraser. So it sucked to see that he wasn't defending somebody that's like working super hard, you know?
Starting point is 00:10:56 Well, I guess I got Paul Murphy's question answered. Do you think phraser was a little too late back in his management getting involved? OK, so let's talk about you. Yeah, honestly, I think it's a cloud thing. I'm not going to lie. Like nobody wants to be like the person who put somebody else in their place.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Nobody wants to be, you know, the heart on. Nobody wants to be. It is. Oh, whoa. Thank you. Whoa. Oh,
Starting point is 00:11:23 no, but like I'm talking about in that strict sort of you know like where like nobody wants to tell a grown-off person Like you're not making the cut. You know what I mean But also on the same time I think it's him because he wants everybody to like him He couldn't stand the idea of putting Camille in her place because Camille when she doesn't like you She's gonna talk shit about you. She's gonna try to get everybody else not like you. So it's like, it's a rock and a hard place for me. Okay, so let's talk about you and Camille. So what about Camille rubbed you the wrong way?
Starting point is 00:11:57 Was it the laziness, was it the aloofness? What was it? Nothing about Camille rubbed me the wrong way. I met her and thought she was really bubbly, pretty. I thought, you know, that stew, she's kind of like all over the place. That's the perfect position for her, you know what I mean? But after the first, literally the very first night, I know that as a second serious, I have to delegate one, one, one or two closing tasks to her. So it's not like all throughout the day, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:12:33 do this, do that, do it one or two tasks. She already knows I'm going to give to her. For her, she's already approved the task ahead of time. So after, you know, night one where I kind of, I didn't get, she wasn't stopping her feet, which is what ended up being showed she was cursing at me. She was gripping the rail so that it seemed like she was angry. She was tapping the pen to, you know, move on. You're wasting my time. It's very intimidating.
Starting point is 00:12:58 She was intimidating me. So it's like that. OK, round two. Name something that's not boring. Laundry? Ooh, a book club. Computer solitaire, huh? Ah, sorry, we were looking for Chamba Casino. Chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chim-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum-chum- told Fraser and he said, you know, you got us to give her move on, you know, put things through us and I tried, but at the end of the day, I was sacrificing my mental health to keep on keeping on keeping on.
Starting point is 00:13:56 It really felt like I was sacrificing my mental health. We've been covering this show for five, we've been covering this show for five years. And very often we see leadership really fail to address toxic work environments. It seems like it's pretty much just the norm on these These yachts right now. Yeah, that's what happens when oh You're God I love zoom shows. Have you listened to the show? Have I listened to your show?
Starting point is 00:14:26 Okay. So you're you're you're aware that you're aware of your moniker. It's rather insulting what we call you guys see rats, right? See rats. No, I just thought that was like one guy. No, that's all of you. I'm sorry to say I listen, that's all of you. So, no, that's okay. Okay. Okay. So how do you like being a sea rat or in the yachting industry? Are you going to keep doing this for a long time or are you feeling the walls closing in and you want to get away as soon as
Starting point is 00:14:57 humanly possible? You know what? I think I'm excellent on my job. I think I offer excellent support. I think I'm really intuitive with the guests. There was not one guest that walked on to St. David that didn't know my name. Didn't know I would make them an amazing drink. Didn't know I was quite quick with my service. So I really feel like there's longevity for me in this industry. Um, that being said, it's a passion and not my purpose. So I'm gonna ride the pony till it dies underneath me. Whoa, that's brutal. That's only shit. No.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Meredith Larrowway asks, is your ultimate goal to be a Chief Stew? That's so funny because I do not like positions of power. I've always avoided Chief Stew right now. I'm a like positions of power. I've always avoided chiefs through right now. I'm a soul stew of 100's foot. And this is like as big as you can go without getting a second. But no, it's not a comfortable position because you have to have uncomfortable talks.
Starting point is 00:15:57 And I think when I saw the second stew position, I didn't see it as, oh, I'm anybody's boss. I just kind of thought it's like, oh, you can come to me as the question. It's like, if there's not here, you know, I'll be looking out and not kind of thing. But, yeah, no, I don't crave like huge, stupid, um. I don't wanna come off as too big of a dick, but you said that you were intimidated by Camille
Starting point is 00:16:21 and that you are a little uncomfortable with positions of power now, Alyssa, you don't strike me as the type of person who would be intimidated by somebody like Camille and I have to say you really excelled with what little power you did have over Camille. So, I think you'd be a great chiefs, dude. Did you not experience a little bit of joy lording your power over Camille because that's what it kind of seemed like and I wouldn't play me for it she's you know she talks about that quarterback all the time. No there is no joy there is there is desperation there was anxiety but no there is no joy and I literally sometimes you can hear my voice and it's like, when I'm asking her
Starting point is 00:17:06 to do something directly, no, I really didn't enjoy it. It's like, I don't know how to express to you, the emotional turmoil I endured while I was there. No, it's uncomfortable. So a couple more questions. Yeah, it's like, oh, sorry, a couple more questions, Alyssa. So one, and I think this hasn't been answered, but it maybe it might give some clarity
Starting point is 00:17:29 for a lot of viewers and listeners. What were the actual roles for you, Camille, and Haley? Because it seemed like it was all over the place where there are defined roles right off from the beginning. When you're in a yacht, somebody can ask you to do anything, literally anything, and it's your responsibility to get it done. So that being said, there are set roles,
Starting point is 00:17:51 and there is a second stew, third stew, fourth stew. My role is to just help out all the girls, do what phrase they're asked, which is mainly as a second stew, help with service, cocktails, third stew, the housekeeping stewardess, where she does a lot of housekeeping. She was in a lot of housekeeping. Fourth stew or a dext stew,
Starting point is 00:18:12 so I'm like, outside to do the fun bit, like, Jesse's talking, when you're talking, it's exciting. Like, you get to see the cats and then action and all the rush really. Yeah, they play very intense music. And then when you come inside, yeah, right, all 10 minutes of it. And then when you come inside, it's like,
Starting point is 00:18:30 okay, it's time to do the laundry. It's time to, you know, talk about with something else. But Camille really did get a big mix. She was on service, she was on the beach. She was with the boys. She was in the laundry. Like, I really don't know what to say. And Camille had a year and a half of experience,
Starting point is 00:18:45 the same amount of experience as I did. So shocking, but. Yeah. Okay, well I'm excited to talk to Camille. Yeah, it really is about, yeah, I really is just about like how, what kind of person you wanna be. You can be in the shop in for a year and a half and be the fourth sewer, you can be in the shop
Starting point is 00:19:03 of a year and a half and be the second story of that at be in the shop of your in a house and be the second story. Wow. I'm going to say. Dylan hold on. Wow. Here's what I'll say in defense of a listen and viewers and listeners take this in. There's one person that is at odds with multiple people on the boat.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Lee. No. Camille. And then there's a list of who's at odds with one person on the boat who's in involved with issues with everybody? Yeah, no, I mean, listen, we got to talk to Camille because... And it's not even at odds. I literally tried to avoid her.
Starting point is 00:19:33 When I had to say something to her, I tried to write it down or sing song it. I tried every, you know, you could say, we we instead of you I tried everything and it was like she like hot of ended against me from the moment I met her like literally the first night you're fighting about something like that's incredible and it sucks because you know I'm not really a confrontational person so it's just like she knew what she was doing she knew that I'm not a confrontational person. At the time, I can admit I was intimidated by her. I didn't have the biggest voice ever being 22.

So, you know, I feel like she definitely works, the people that choose around and she sees what she can get away with and who she can get away with it. Got it.. Now a couple questions to wrap things up. Did you cry when Lee left the boat? Yeah, I cried. I'm really crying. You don't know this guy. How could you cry for a guy? No, you're so silly.
Starting point is 00:21:40 No, you're so silly. Oh, I do. No I know plenty of that. You're silly. Oh listen, how could you cry for a guy? The first five minutes he meant most of the people on that boat. He threatened to fire all of them. Yeah he said I got plenty tickets in my ass. Then he said the next two charters, the guy screaming on a walkie talkie, gag dammit.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Yeah yeah yeah. Like that's not a pleasant experience. He expects you to cry. Well what is the dynamic between you guys and Captain Lee? Because everybody was really busted off about this. Hold the parcher. I think when you're set for the season and you see the past and you see the angle and then the guy who's leading you literally,
Starting point is 00:22:20 Lee's, yeah, it's a place of, you know, sadness. I mean, you're gonna miss him. You're wanting him to get you ill. Like, come on guys, have a little bit of empathy. Like, you see somebody hurt, sick, in pain, uncomfortable, not moving around like they used to. That, I mean, I can always place myself in somebody else's shoes, so that's a very silly question. Well, I mean, listen, I mean, it's age appropriate to have a bad back. I mean, if somebody was, you know, y'all, 24, yeah, I would be a little.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Yeah, but it's not sad. Trust me. I mean, when you're that age, I hope people have the same compassion for you. So we're all gonna get there hopefully. Now, can I go in on her now? Shit. Can I please? We got to wrap this all right
Starting point is 00:23:08 Thank you very much for joining us. Thank you very very much for joining us What episode does Camille get fired? Is that a question for me? Yeah, I'm but it's honestly a joke. We know you can't ask Yeah, answer that question. So I'm just joking. Is there anything that you would like to plug, lady, listen? Plug, what does that mean? You're asking all your Instagram, basically, what's your Instagram? I have, follow me on Instagram and solicit Veronica,
Starting point is 00:23:40 follow my business, it's fairly Florida. Yeah, we're selling second-hand non, you know closed though. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, what's the business? Oh Fairly Florida, so I take Circiaclose and I upcycle them so like a little skirt and a Graham Oscar I'll like cut it into like a little booty show and skirt. And like, oh, don't.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Basically, once I get all of my clothing in order, we're going to put it online and sell it. Yeah. So you can feel guilt free about shopping. I'm like a shop on Hollig, but I die hard girl when it comes to sustainability. So I was really looking for an outlet that let me shop as much as I wanted without feeling guilty about it.
Starting point is 00:24:24 You know, these materials are already here and really just helping clear them from the landfill. Well, let's do this. After Camille's fired, we'll have you back on at the end of the season, you give the domain name out for the business. We'll talk a lot. Yeah, and we can also talk about the responsibility
