Ready? Go! getting exciting. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning. Now streaming on Paramount Plus, 3D PG-13.
Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.
But she can be pretty rude and we'd love to have her on.
Lily, you and Tumi had a rough go starting out.
And the reason why you had a rough go is because you couldn't
really do anything just because you
were an experience and that's what the show is.
You guys get thrown into the lion's den.
But what was it like in the beginning?
Are you good with Toomey now?
How did that whole gauntlet go? Hi, hello. Welcome to Brand Spanking. Lily, can I intro the show, please?
Yeah, sorry.
Hi, hello, and welcome to another brand spanking new episode of another below
deck podcast. But we are joined today by none other than the Lily the Lily of the galley Lily
of the Lily of the galley. What was that? It was Wimbledon?
No. Oh yeah. Well, we have some questions about what she did at Wimbledon.
Yeah, Wimbledon. And she's British and she was on below deck. Lily.
Hi. Say hi. Thank you for joining me.
Hey guys. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here.
So we ask the same question of every person who comes on the show.
I'm not asking at this time,
it's Chief Stewart our Facebook admin.
And the question is,
what happened to your leg when you tried to headbutt the beach?
Honestly, I had a few too many drinks for that.
I don't really remember anything from that point.
So yeah, I just woke up and I was like,
oh my gosh, I really hurt my leg. But yeah, what was the diagnosis? What did you like fracture?
I think they were like, well, like you, you're like just like sprain dense muscle in it. But I
literally couldn't walk for like two days. And then it was completely fine. So yeah,
she can walk for like two days and then it was completely fine. So yeah, yeah, you really went out with a bang.
Yeah, I was literally like, oh, why do I have to end like that?
Why couldn't I end on games night?
Yeah. While we're there, I have to ask and the phone party.
Yeah. Phone party. Oh my gosh. What part did you have to play?
Did you guys fuck that up?
Like a odd bill back there. I know. What part did you have to play? Did you guys fuck that? Like, yeah, I know what was going on.
So I literally was like, okay, so Max and I, we arrived with the phone and I was like,
okay, that's a good voice job. Can I say that? Of course. Yeah, a deck hands job. I let Max do
do all that. Yeah, I'll deal with like getting drinks. So like I went into the bar, made all these little shots, got
other things going because I just like, I just assumed it
wasn't going to work from the start. I was like, this foam
party's gonna be a fail if, if Max can't play, he, he can't do
this. We need to have some other things around. So I set up all
of that. And hoping he'd be able to do the foam in the time he had.
I blew up some of the like what are called the inflatable stuff.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I didn't get it much air in them, Billy.
Yeah, I know.
No, you got to stop vaping.
OK. Because you know.
My lungs are so bad. How much time did you guys have to set that up?
I think it was like an hour.
It wasn't that long.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Now Max really, really screwed the pitch because if you have a phone party and there's
no phone, then it's just a party.
Right.
Yeah.
And it was like a public swimming pool.
It was like, yes. Really. And I would say, you know, how those they have the steps like step one, you know, plug it in.
Yeah. Step two, put soap in it.
Although to Max, Ikea furniture, anything that comes out of a box with instructions, I am like,
let's just pass somebody.
What is the word? Exorbitant? Yes. Yeah. I'm nailing on the point. It's not that interesting and this isn't about me.
Okay. Can we get to some listener questions? Let's start with Kathy Stern. Your family
has an escape room business. Oh my God. Is it still in business?
business. Oh my god. Is it still in business? Yeah, so it's called escapology. My dad and my dad has less to say in it now because they kind of sold a bit of it a few like a year ago or a
year and a bit ago. But my cousin, she still writes all the games and her fiancee, I could pay the
massive part and yeah. So it's still called it's still, it's called escapology.
It's not a summer in America.
Do you, is your family, like, do you have a lineage
of like traveling, like, minstrel and stuff?
I like, I don't know.
Yeah, I feel like I've traveled quite a lot
because like my dad, he moved to America
when I was 10 years old.
And then my mom and my stepdad, they, like, they bought a house
in Ibiza in Spain, when I was like 15. So they've just like, basically spent all their
time in those locations. So to ever see them, I'd have to go with them. Yeah. So I've been
lucky in that aspect.
Your family seems like a real fun time. You guys have a lot of
games. You can't even imagine what the holidays are like. Yeah, I have a fun family. I can't
lie. And quite a big family. We can tell your yes. All right. So here's a question. This
is from Vicki Stebbl. What was your impression? What's up, Vic? When you were planning to
take the guests out on the Harbor tour with the latest jerks.
That's Vicki's words, not Pat's.
And then abruptly right in front of you,
Captain Singh suddenly says, no, to me and Kyle, go, we need the fun ones.
Yeah. How did you feel?
I was like getting really excited, really hyped up for this.
And then I was like, nope, you're not going.
Um, I was a bit like, well, I'm definitely one of the fun ones thinking I feel like it could have been a bit more fun.
Yeah.
But right.
I felt you got Rob.
That seemed like every once in a while, Captain Sandy, she, I don't know if she's doing it intentionally or just kind of a passive aggressive jab.
I can't.
Yeah.
But she can be pretty rude.
And we'd love to have her on. Lily, you and Toomey had a rough
go starting out. And the reason why you had a rough go is
because you couldn't really do anything just because you were
in experience. And that's what the show is. You guys get thrown into
the lion's den. But what was it like in the beginning? Are you good with Toomey now? How did
that whole gauntlet go? Yeah, we're great now. I feel like at the beginning, I obviously didn't
have much. I've specialized in service and and stuff before so literally nothing to do with
making beds and laundry. Right, right. So when I like that was my first task I come on the boat
obviously there's been some huge drama before I come on that I had right like literally knew
nothing about. Yeah. And then like there's so much tension and then I just got told what to do by
three different people being to me Jess and Kyle. Kyle. So I was like, constantly doing like completely different things, but like never
the same thing. So it took me longer to like pick it all up. We're fine now.
And once you did, you were off to the races. Listener, Christine Kamararina asked,
did you think it was because they weren't taking the time,
the proper time to teach you these various tasks initially?
Yeah, I feel like, I think Tumi gave a lot of her work
to Jess to teach me.
And I feel like Jess obviously didn't have
as much training and teaching people.
But then I also had like Kyle teaching me stuff
and then Tumi teaching me stuff. So my list just kept like changing and kind of every day
But like once I got once I got it
I got it and it wasn't even that long from like obviously the show like it was like two charges was quite quick
till I managed to like nail it so I
Thought it did obviously show some of the bad sides of me, but maybe
not the best at the beginning.
Yeah, I think you came off great on the show, Lily. You know, you're new to a task. All
right. So what was that illness going around on that boat? Was that the Irish flu or what
the hell was the disease X?
Honestly, I don't know. Like, I don't know what that illness was. I was happy. I happily avoided
it. But yeah, I definitely did my fair share of being sick on that boat on the first day.
Oh, that's right. Oh, that's right. Okay. So, okay. All right. Let's
get him in hot. Thank you so much for bringing that up. So part of being a Sira is being able to get absolutely blackout drunk.
Like going to war with a beach kind of drunk and then waking up the next day and
I don't know how but going through the day not throwing up. So was that your first time having
to do that because that's kind of an unwritten responsibility.
I just feel like I can never really handle my drink.
So I don't really drink as much anymore.
I definitely don't drink as much anymore after the show.
I've been embarrassed for life.
Oh, no.
I'm a lightweight.
You're nothing compared to what we've seen.
Absolutely nothing.
Don't be embarrassed. I'm a lightweight. You're nothing compared to what we've seen. Absolutely nothing. Don't be embarrassed.
I'm a lightweight.
So like two drinks in me and I will completely black out.
So, but then I got like the worst.
If I mixed my drinks, I realized like at university,
I like the worst hangovers of my life.
Like you guys saw on the show.
But like the worst one ever was the one you guys saw
on the show. I've never had one ever was the one you guys saw on the show.
I've never had one that bad.
Capacitum.
Fortunately, it was for a million people to see.
I know.
My mom wasn't that happy about that one.
Jessica Lynn wants to know, what did you do at Wimbledon?
So I did it for like, I think I did six Wimbledon's
for like five or six Wimbledon championships. I obviously started off like, I think I did six women or like five or six women in championships.
I obviously started off like at the bottom,
well not the bottom, but like working in a restaurant there.
And then by their last two years of me
working women in championships,
I was a manager of a food and drink place
underneath Sentiqol.
So yeah, we had like a team of like 20 people
underneath me, which was really cool.
I was hoping you're one of those people that catches the tennis balls, you know, the hangers.
Oh no, it's very dangerous.
She gets a beam in the face.
Yeah, that wouldn't help my hospitality skills too much.
Who's the best?
Mumbaden.
Yeah.
I've actually met a few tennis players who, like I used to always, so I used to work
underneath Centre Court and I would just like give the security guards on Centre Courts like stuff
from the restaurant like sausage rolls, bring them up in the lift and then they would just let me go
on and like watch the tennis. What do you mean under center court? Like you're in the like
you're on the top terrain. So there's center courts like all the restaurants and stuff are kind
of built into the like the tennis courts. Yeah the main like. So I was like obviously when you go in
Wimbledon there's different like restaurants. Mine was like on the ground level when you walk in.
Oh okay. So there's uh so it's like it's where people just, you go up and you can get food and stuff.
And it's like, it's so high in pace, high intensity.
Yeah.
And, but there was a secret lift from where I was that went up to Seneca and I just give
food to people.
Do people do, is there a lot of Adderall in England?
Do people do a lot of Adderall in England? No, not like America.
Okay. Because yeah, it's pretty big in America. Yeah. No, like, I don't think you get half the
drugs get prescribed in England as they do. That's probably responsible because it turns
you into a mud creature. Yeah. But yeah. All right, right, I got some questions for you. These are a little
tougher and cleverly designed to get you to talk shit. Okay. Okay. Who do you still keep
in touch with from your season?
I keep in touch with on like a basis level, like everybody. I haven't spoken to Kyle,
but he hasn't reached out to me. Yeah. And yeah, I don't know why I follow him in Instagram.
Never follow me back.
But whatever.
We leave. Well, that's a lens of shock.
Ask, oh, who do you still keep in touch with?
Specifically, Kyle, after he treated you like shit
when you first came on the boat.
So we got the answer to that one.
OK, so if you were stuck on an island
and you could pick a fellow crew member from this.
Yeah. Who would that person be? Well, we know the answer.
Jack, right?
Jack.
Yeah.
So go on and catch the crabs.
He'll cook them up.
That's a good point, because if you and Max were alone together on an island,
you may make it, but you guys would die very quickly.
Oh, yeah. I've put a boyfriend now.
So I think we're going would be too happy about that.
So what happened with you and Max after the show?
I feel like the whole time we were on the show,
we were just good friends.
And when we left, we were still good friends.
It was kind of, I just ran, really got drunk
and then got with him.
It was nothing more than that.
And I think he was the same. So he's actually one of the guys I still keep in, I keep, as I said, base the level of everybody
who I'm close with is like Jack and I'm close with Max. It's like, haven't really spoken to him
that much, but he's very hard to get in touch with to everybody. So it's not just me.
Yeah, he's working on his chakras. Hey, the night when Natalia came back to the club.
Yeah.
What were you, you were probably a couple of sheets to the wind at that point, but like,
yeah, you what was the vibe there? Like where do you feel?
Yeah, I was, I kind of never was filled in properly until like I watched it and I actually
saw what happened.
Yeah.
Because there were so many different sides to the story.
Like it was really no story for me because I just had no idea who to believe.
But she was so nice to me when I met her and I was expecting her to be some like nasty
villain coming in after everything.
Yeah.
But she was really nice.
And I've kept in contact with her, actually.
We met up after the show, which is nice as well.
So you've watched the show and you've watched
participants in all that drama.
Oh, no, no.
Katie Lassender wants to know,
have you picked aside Kyle versus Natalia in that feud?
You don't.
I actually think Natalia.
We must answer.
Natalia.
I think she had a hard time on the boat and I feel like maybe she might have been
overreactive to some of the comments.
I think, but I think some of the comments made from Kyle were slightly unnecessary.
But obviously I don't know if I saw exactly what I saw, but that's my opinion.
You mean like you're an evil bitch or something like that? Like was that?
Yeah, well, I just like, I also, I trust Jack. Like he's one of my closest friends from the show.
I still talk to and I just trust that if he felt like that, I trust that his decision
must have been based of like a true reality.
Yeah, Jack's is pretty close. I mean, I think that Natalia being as hot as she is may skew
his opinion a little bit, but he's pretty close.
We love Sheffi, Jack. Okay. So this is from Iris Offer. She wants to know, did you know
that Jess was talking as much shit behind your back as she was?
No. No, I didn't know anyone was talking that much shit behind my back until I watched it.
And I was like, because I'd say friends of everyone, like after the show, all friends
and I was watching and I'm like, should I be friends with these people?
Like, is this going to be the whole time?
But luckily they did change their opinions of me half way.
Well, you know, what can help when people are, you know, what can help Lily when people
are back stamping and you have anxiety about it and you have anxiety about it and you go Well, you know, what can help? Oh, you know, what can help, Lily, when people are stamping?
And you have anxiety about it.
You have anxiety about it.
And you go on a show and you see that these people that your friends with,
we're actually saying nasty stuff about you.
You know, what can help?
No, my micro dose.
My credit is my.
It is a wonderful company.
You know, microdosing is like all the rage right now,
but it's all the rage with more like psychoactive stuff like mushrooms and, you know, like,
you know, like mushrooms and stuff. But listen, if THC is too powerful for you,
then why not microdose? It can help with anxiety. Yeah, everybody needs to try it. It can help with
pain, workout and recovery. Anxiety as a result of your friends backstabbing it helps with
some in the study. It's like a miracle drug. Okay, we've been taking it to help us sleep a little bit
better at night. And you so can you to microdose available nationwide to learn more about microdosing
THC go to microdose.com and use code bad TV to get free shipping and 30% of your first order links can be
found in the show description. But again, that's microdose.com and code BADTV.
Okay, so we got a couple more questions. Okay, okay, okay. We are recapping an older season
of Below Deck Med where a Chief Stew named Hannah hooks up with a charter guest. Have you
ever hooked up with a charter guest? No, I haven't.
Fortunately, I haven't because I feel like
that is maybe a line you don't wanna cross
depending on if it's like, say if you own the boat
and you were like being the crew on your own boat,
I think it's a different story, do what the hell you want.
If you don't own the boat
and someone's paying you to work on the boat,
then it's like, you, it should be some level.
Yeah, like Jeff.
All right, let's talk about Jeff.
So Jeff is interesting to me because he had a right to be pissed.
Yeah, set, but he would not let it go.
Lot of poop in those pants.
Yeah, he pants.
You could I don't know how you could get through the visibility of the dark gray cloud
of hovering over his goddamn head.
Yeah.
Was it worse than we saw?
So Jeff, sorry, Jeff being the guy who had the fight with the lady.
Yeah, his wife.
Yeah.
Yeah, sorry.
I just, the names of, yeah.
He was, so we were all sat in that taxi
coming back from the phone party and they were just going at each other. And I was like, yeah, whoa, this is like, why are they filming us?
They should be filming them.
Like, right. All cameras on them.
What's it? So it's uncomfortable watching it because again, he has a gripe.
But once there's nothing you can do about it, you've got to deal with reality
on real terms.
And he was used to.
I feel like, yeah, it was slightly worse.
And then also the night before, so I was doing this game tonight,
as you guys all saw, right?
One of the wife didn't want to participate in the game
because she was like an assault that night.
And then the next night she made me like get that serial box game again,
just to show she could do the splits, too.
So I had to do it all again. Was that footage that we didn't see? I think so. Well it was like
on that night we came back and it was late and she just made me do that game again with her to
show that she could do it. I don't know if I can say that but it will cut it if we need to cut it. And we make we'll make the call on whether we need to cut it or not.
So favorite games, what is your favorite silly game?
Your silly camp summer camp?
Yeah. Well, and what's your favorite board game?
My favorite game and that is like this.
It's like me right down a and play something on a piece of paper
then you are going two teams of the people you're with you put it in a like a hat and then everyone
goes against each other and they have to like act it out and then they have to say one word to do
a thing you've written down and uh then yeah the last word is, first round is say anything but the word second round
is act out and third round is say one word.
So it's a lot.
It's like fishbowl a little bit.
Yeah.
Kind of like that.
Okay.
And board.
No, no, don't let him go on.
What's your favorite board game?
I'm not a big board game girl, but I do quite like Scrabble.
Okay. Boring is boring. But it's so boring.
Well, my my parents like it.
So it's like a game you can sit and drink and is sure.
You can write a word. Right. Right.
The Seerats have a game and they almost every season.
I don't think we got it in the vans this season.
It's a little game called Mary F. Kill. Yes. All right.
You got Luca Max and that guy that stole someone else's identity.
No, no, no, no, no, no, not him because he gets killed and she doesn't know.
But you are whatever his name is.
It's really. Oh, yeah.
OK, Luca Max Jack.
OK, so.
Uh, oh, oh, God. Okay. Fuck Max. He's already dead.
Yeah.
Mary Jack and then he'll leak.
I think that's the right.
Yeah.
Look at the fuck boy.
I like dumb black boy.
Antrust him.
He was for a second.
He's got more things been in than a circus clown.
The state of Scorpio.
Yeah.
Like I was, I didn't know how that stuff was going to go on.
And the last night of him getting.
Natalia that I think he got just again.
I might as well.
I think he's going to get a little bit of a't know how that stuff was going to go on.
And the last night of him getting in.
Natalia that I think he got just again.
I mean, this is crazy.
Levels, you know, it's the cruel.
It's the cruel thing of nature of good looks.
Yeah. Yeah.
When you're that handsome, especially as a man,
you become what people call a psychopath a little bit.
Yeah.
And we love Luca, but you know, the, what?
Yeah, I love Luca too, but.
I would have done it too if I was, you know.
Sure, exactly.
So Lily, what's on the horizon here?
You've done the show, what's up, what's your future?
So I'm currently, I always, like cooking was always my dream.
So I've been the chef in this boat I'm on now for over a year. Oh, nice. And a half. Yeah.
When you're going whenever the show finished, got the job straight away. And I love it. I'm my boyfriend
as the captain, which is great. Oh, hi, Captain Boyfriend. You're not supposed to crew. Yeah, I know.
And then I'm maybe hopefully going to do like a longer chef's
like culinary school thing later on this year.
And then just progress like that. I just kind of want to just focus on my cooking for now.
Leave my students.
You're going to ask her what her type of cooking style that she's a.
No, because I have one question that I really want to get to.
And we ask everybody this.
What's going on with the Royals? Are they is there like satanic stuff going on at the bottom?
Yeah, the royals, I think they're like, I feel like they should have just like really rooted for
Harry and Meghan. So that means like the whole like the whole royal family would have been younger.
like the whole royal family would have been younger. Sure, yeah.
Even though like my dad might say otherwise
with the whole drama.
But I also think like they should have just bypassed
Prince Charles and Camilla
and just gone straight to William and Kate again.
Like no one really cares about him.
Everyone like Diana.
Well, I say he's gonna die soon,
but he looks like he's already dead.
So he may be alive for 2000 years. Here's what I say he's going to die soon, but he looks like he's already dead. So he may be alive for 2000 years.
Here's what I have to say.
You're not going to get like this crazy bloodline
that you want to see, you know, florist for a thousand years.
Their fucking teeth are horrible.
They're pale.
They're not even, I mean,
they're more like Germans I've been told.
But anyways, thank you so much for joining us.
Oh, you're welcome.
Thank you guys for having me.
We appreciated you.
You were a slight spot, a lot of levity on the show.
And we really needed it because it was a poisonous cloud.
Oh, thank you guys.
I'm glad I brightened up a bit.
You definitely did.
Where can where can our listeners find you and follow you?
You guys can follow me on at Lily Davidson on Instagram or Lily of the Galley if you
like food.
And I've got me and my boyfriend just started a YouTube channel, Lily of the Galley.
So they're only great as well.
Lily of the Galley, go follow her.
Don't give him any ownership over that, okay?
You take 100% ownership.
No, I just missed mine, but He's the only person I can record
Okay, all right. Well, Lily, thank you so much for joining us. Have a great rest of your year. Happy new year.
Thank you, me too.
Thanks, Lily. It was really fun. Appreciate it.
Thank you guys. Bye. Yeah. you
