Starting point is 00:01:14 16,000 strong over there at Patreon. A lot of that money. Gang, we couldn't be more excited to have our incredibly special guys. Here with this today for the first time. Yes. He is a very funny, very successful stand-up comedian podcast producer and let's Let's just say this. You take a lot of heat,
Starting point is 00:01:31 but you are the most successful comedy podcast producer ever. Thanks. Right? Yeah. Joe Rogan Experience killed Tony. You started Desquad Network. And not to throw you in a hot seat quickly, but I have a number written down here.
Starting point is 00:01:44 I would like to, you don't have to say anything. Just tell me if I'm around the ballpark, what you got sitting in the bank? More or less. Uh, eventually. Can I see it?
Starting point is 00:01:56 But we're about there. After this weekend. Yeah, eventually. You're a successful man. Thanks. A little bit of a creep out here. You like that anime stuff. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 00:02:06 That's my character. Ente porn or whatever it's called. He likes an octopus tentacle. I don't know what you're going to do. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Brian Redmond! Long time coming, my friend. Oh, my God. I've been wanting to do this for so long.
Starting point is 00:02:19 We had it in the books once or twice in Austin, and we had to schedule a schedule conference. I'm glad you're here, though. Yes. Do it at the house. Do it in the studio. Yeah. Come by Potties. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:29 You got a show over there at Madison Square Garden. Yeah, a couple there. Doing two at the Garden. Woo! That's great. I've been to the garden once. Rangers game. Oh, wait.
Starting point is 00:02:38 We went and saw the first kill Tony over it. He did. It was very cool. And that was a very eye-opening experience to us. Yeah. We will never be there. But when you guys ran that, you ran the, you know, the through the years kind of thing and starting in that small room at the comedy store, 12 years ago or 13 years ago at this point,
Starting point is 00:02:57 to the fucking selling out the garden. Yeah, it's very crazy. It's very crazy. Happy for you. You know we love you. Yes. Let's get into this. That being said, I mean, you know, the facts are, I think the facts in this case.
Starting point is 00:03:07 I feel like we should be wearing the stuff that you wear when you go to a Gallagher show. The McDonald's Cafe coffee. With a paper stroll, though. That's what they screw you on that. Oh, is that all they do? Yeah, and they got that, they got that heavy set. Lady working there. No, they have that high intensity sprite over there.
Starting point is 00:03:25 It eats through that thing like it's sulfuric acid. So you got that. guys do the paper straws here in New York? No. I mean, it's just McDonald's? We have the original yellow striped ones in Texas, you know, the seal skin. Yeah. That's also stuck in the 80s. Yeah. Well, if that's where styrofoam cops live, I was going to say skyscrapers made a styrofoam down there. What, uh, what, what, how, is that all you got? That's light and sweet. Oh, I mean, I mean, I, you know, when I'm in New York, I have to get you guys have so many great coffee shops, but I saw McDonald's. Like, fuck. Is that your coffee every day?
Starting point is 00:03:56 No, no, this, I make my own coffees, but this is like... Pretty clear. This is like a baby food coffee, though, you know, where I don't want the fancy stuff. Sometimes I just want, like, the chocolate milk for Brian. Yeah. What's the order? Just at default, you know, just... Ice coffee.
Starting point is 00:04:11 It has all the sugar. It's already comes preloaded. Their defaults got heavy cereal. You're buying pre-rolls, dude. They ask you, when... I've gotten coffee for McDonald's, I'm like, you don't want those vanilla syrup or nothing? They, like, they can't understand it. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:23 No, it's crazy. Oh, okay. McDonald's... Just getting a beverage. As we all know, trash. Yeah, that's a tough look, man. Brian, give us the backstory. You're a cafe?
Starting point is 00:04:35 It's not a cafe. There's a homeless guy jerking off in there. Remember they tried to kick down? You're going to be hanging out there, working on a screenplay. Ohio. Yeah. So, born in Columbus, Ohio. The nice part.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Yeah, the nice part. You were spending time at Cleveland? No, Cleveland used to be the best, though. We used to go, wow, Cleveland is where it's where it's. cool and everything's but now you know Detroit kind of leaked on to Cleveland and it's scary it's a little bit Cleveland got a little Detroitie yeah they succeeded yeah it's whatever Detroit does it's contagious yeah but no very small hometown like you know and then were you in the city prop or outside no we're in the burbs in the burbs uh Worthington Dublin which is like
Starting point is 00:05:17 you know like high end uh classy I guess uh then our parents my parents got a divorce which was like one of the first divorces in Cleveland Columbus, Ohio. What? Yeah. We, I feel like I've heard you say that before, which is like my mother was stoned.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Yeah, how old are you 700 years old? That's heresy! I was burned as a witch. Yeah, so, like, it was literally like, like no one got divorces at this time. How old were you at the time? Third grade, whatever that was.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Eight. Seven, eight. That's not really fuck you up. Yeah, and I'm 52, so this was like early 80s, I think. Woo! We! It's probably you're not a stripper. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Columbus, divorce, 80s? Yeah. That's got porn written all over it. See my Oaf guys. No, and like, they didn't even have apartment complexes back then. Wait, wait, wait, wait. This is we home on the range?
Starting point is 00:06:09 What are you talking? No one's the apartment complexes? Yes, they, I remember they built this, like, their first apartment complex. And I remember on the news, everyone's like, this is what an apartment is. Everybody's standing there. This ain't going to ways. This is where single dads. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:21 Bang flight attendants. Because divorces were coming out. We're like starting. So when I got a divorce. my teacher's like, I think it's going to mess him up, so we better hold him back is what they told me. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:33 But that's what they told you. That's what they told me. I remember making fun of you this on Kill Tony, actually. I think so. This all just came back. I think you eating erasers in the back of the class, but I'm doing it too. Huff and markers.
Starting point is 00:06:44 So, yeah, I... All right, so you got held back in third grade. Third grade. So you're an only child? No, I have a younger sister. No shit. And so we moved to one of that new apartment complex. With your mom or your dad?
Starting point is 00:06:55 My mom. Okay. My dad. found out he was no one that had all the money engineering stuff my mom wasn't a working mom she was a stay-at-home mom or so got a divorce got a divorce stand-up
Starting point is 00:07:06 apartment she got a job working as an executive secretary for Dave Thomas of Wendy's get the fuck out of here yeah actual Dave Thomas I got pictures of him dressed up as Santa Claus and I'm a kid sitting on his lap are you fucking kidding me red man I was the show's over
Starting point is 00:07:22 you're cleanest famous guy you ever met Dave Thomas that guy Because that's one of the questions. The most famous person you met as a kid, it's got to be Dave Todd. Come on. Unless you're hanging out with the hamburger on the weekends. Actually, it's not because the Merfield Golf Tournament was in Columbus, Ohio.
Starting point is 00:07:39 And so I met Bob Hope, was one of the first people I met. Sean Connery. John Connery's a golfer? Yeah, I know. Yeah, he's Scottish. John Daly. I met John Daly back in the day, back a few times. You met Bob Hope.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Bob Hope stepped on my foot and goes, hey, kid, I'm sorry. And he signed. Show business I said something racist I went away Wait Hold on a second Dude we are
Starting point is 00:08:02 We're first of all We're moving on a million miles an hour I got questions Yeah What happened to the house What does Dave Thomas smell like Onions it's weird Yeah did your dad stay at the house
Starting point is 00:08:12 Dad still has that house What the what? Yeah Dad still stays at the house But what's weird is now looking back I never asked why did you get divorced I never heard like I don't give I don't care
Starting point is 00:08:22 But looking back I just thought it was weird that, you know, right when my parents got divorced, my mom immediately had a job as an executive secretary for Dave Thomas. So I'm like, wait, did my mom cheat on my dad with Dave Thomas? Am I Dave Thomas's kid? Well, typically, because the dad, you should sit on a gold mine. I know. You could. Did you ever meet Wendy?
Starting point is 00:08:42 Huh? Did you ever meet Wendy? I think I did back. Because it used to be a pretty tight company. Like, we used to go to camp, like Wendy's camp, and, you know, all the kids that worked for Wendy's. We all got shipped off to like summer camp together. Wait, did you work at Wendy's too? No, I never worked at Wendy.
Starting point is 00:08:57 The kids are the parents like Scientology. Everyone's got to work there. My mom used to scrupping the floors. My mom used always have to do these like weird things for Dave. Anal. Like no, like carry like briefcases in small airplanes and go to like Chicago in Atlanta. Probably like the chili recipe. It was something like that.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And I just remember as a kid I would sit in the back. It was like one of those like propeller. You were on the plane? Yeah. My mom brought me to this. I don't know where my sister was. This is like how they whacked fucking. Yeah, this is crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:26 I know. And my mom would buy me like Garfield books. Just like, don't look out the window because it's just like a small tiny plane. Oh, Sessna or whatever. Yeah, yeah, going, dropping off briefcases and getting back on the plane and going back to. What? Yeah, it was weird shit. Were they ever chained or like handcuffed door?
Starting point is 00:09:42 No, it was. But I remember it was like this big like leather briefcase thing that she had to drop off to see people would meet at the airport. They would get back on. That was full of cats. don't know but probably also too if you're Dave Tom from like a business if you got to get something somewhere quick it's like same day these are like legal
Starting point is 00:10:00 documents that need to be signed or whatever yeah okay you're giving them the red band obviously it was it was it was just got ketchup packets taped to his chest but the best part they had the test kitchen so as a kid I would go to see my mom at work are you trying to you're trying to
Starting point is 00:10:17 fucking make my best friend jealous here is that we're trying to talk about test kitchen yeah we're the same age You're talking about G.I. Joe, Transformers outside. You had a fucking Wendy's test kitchen to that child? Like 50-year-old, yeah. Yeah, and then so they would have like a window and you choose things that it's not released at
Starting point is 00:10:33 and you tested them. They also had, you know, every time they had like a party, they would have like portable frosty machines that they would bring to parties. And my mom, like one of my birthdays had the, she got to bring the frosty machine on my birthday. That frosty back in the day. That hit the fucking market like thriller.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Yeah, everybody was freaking out. Because it's a frosty! Shakes couldn't compare to a frosty. You eat it with a spoon, then you drink it, Luke. You can't do that with a milkshake. What? Not those thin ones they do at McDonald's. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:11:01 How long did she work there? Did she then... She worked there until after, I think, after Dave passed, and then magically just stopped working at that place. And then, yeah, worked for red roof ends. Then she was like a high end... She worked at the red roof end. Corporate, no, corporate office.
Starting point is 00:11:17 All right. Still. Those people all got hot jobs. Yeah. That's a big street. structure. Who? Anybody that were,
Starting point is 00:11:23 anybody that started with those guys that was involved on the ground floor with McDonald's. Red roof in is a hot job. From a corporate standpoint, hey, I studied hotel restaurant management at a Wyden University. For three out. As a lot. Wow.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Wow. So your mom ended up doing well. I'm sorry to cut you. Yeah, she ended up doing well. Then met a, you know, my stepdad and now who.
Starting point is 00:11:45 The Burger King. Yeah. He owns a huge an architect and owns a big architect firm. You know, nice. So you out of the, apartment so yeah we got out of the apartment uh and did you ever find out why you guys moved out yeah because typically like the mom stays with the kids that must have been first divorce
Starting point is 00:12:01 yeah yeah it was oh they changed the laws and it's like because i had to share a bedroom with my sister growing up it was two years younger than me and we had like the that explains a book the book or the bookshelves in the middle of the room to separate the rooms you know i respect that it's like a dorm yeah it was like a dorm that's torture uh wow how long are you guys in that apartment Ooh, I'd probably say third grade to about fifth grade. And then I ended up, I ended up moving in with my dad in high school. So I switched. Was that like beef with like how I'm going to live with dad type?
Starting point is 00:12:34 It was more just like I can't live with three women or two women. And place my dad was cooler, had a bigger house. And so yeah. How did your sister feel about that? She loved it, I bet. Would it have been the same school? Yeah. I stayed.
Starting point is 00:12:49 So I live in a different school. I used to work when I lived at my dad's, but I would drive. Gotcha. To my other one. So you and your sister were still in the same school. You'd see you on a daily basis. Yeah, yeah. Go over to your mom's for dinner, stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Right, right. But at your old man, you could probably have a couple of beers. Yeah, well, he, yeah, I could sneak into and like late. Yeah, that's just don't, that's, don't fucking care about a high school kid. Yeah, right? How are the grades in school? No, I, I, uh, I, plead to bed. No, I, uh, I, uh, slept.
Starting point is 00:13:14 I, I watched Johnny Carson every night and, and David Letterman until, like, three in the morning, right? And so that's why I, right? And so that's why I wear hats still to this day, because I used to just be the guy that would, like, sit there like this and sleep while, like, in school. So my grades sucked. What is an old baseball pitcher? Yeah, except for art.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Chipmy McGrath, sleeping in the dugout? Yeah, except for art classes. All of the art classes, A-plus, like, I took every art class, but then everything else, like, C's, D's, this barely got in. Did you take the ASATs or whatever it is out there? Yeah, I think so, but I don't even remember. Okay. I would literally do the thing with the Scantron where you just like, the, you know what?
Starting point is 00:13:50 Ava-cadab. Like the lottery. I'll be done in two seconds. Huh. What were the vacations like growing up? Yeah. Other than hot drops for Dave Thomas. Was dad doing alimony and child support and all the apartment?
Starting point is 00:13:59 Yeah. Were you guys comfortable in the apartment? The apartment was nice because it was brand new. You know, one of the first apartment. The first apartment building ever. Oh, here's something funny. When Diet Coke came out. I remember.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Had the first came in. Wait, Diet Coke came out. Exactly. Well, get a year on Diet Coke. No. I thought that was like 60-7. No. Really?
Starting point is 00:14:19 Really. This is the first time it's just getting to Columbus. And he thinks it was like. Yeah, I'm guessing like 84, 83. July 8, 8, 1982. Get to fuck out of here. So when Diet Coke came out. Dude, breath in my, he's the smartest person I know.
Starting point is 00:14:32 They used to put... Definitely most well-connected. They used to have like a red roof in. Plastic bag and they had Diet Coke, caffeine-free diet Coke, and Coke. They put on everybody in the apartment's door handle to advertise. They get you hooked. They get you hooked. These poor bastards's hooked.
Starting point is 00:14:45 It's like when they give out free menthol cigarettes. I went to every single apartment. apartment stole those and my mom came home and opened the fridge was just packed of diet cooking and she's like Brian where'd you get that and she's like cool you know today go get their I'll tell Dave about it uh but yeah would you have to pay when you go to Wendy's no no no we had stacks of like meal coupons I actually I have a few of them still you fuck with the salad bar back then back then it was the best salad bar it was the best and oh some of the best spaghetti I ever had in my life I swear to God I'll take that to the degree and Wendy's uh because the corporate
Starting point is 00:15:19 but Office was there. They also had all their off brands, like sisters, chicken and biscuits. Do you know what that is? That was their version of KFC. Dave's Cat House? Yeah, it was KFC,
Starting point is 00:15:30 but it's sisters, it was Wendy's version of KFC. Racks, do you know what Rax is? That was Wendy's version of Arby's. Rax actually did pretty well. There's a couple racks still around if you wanted to get.
Starting point is 00:15:41 RACC, like, R-A-X. R-A-X. Sisters, let's get their children. Is that still banging? No, that went out of business. Rax. One piece white meat, $1.79.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Can't stay in business with those prices. They used to have to sell that so hard and let you know white meat. Premium white. I like a thigh. A thigh, man. Crispy thigh. Yeah, so we got all these different versions of restaurants we got to check. Who owns Wendy's now?
Starting point is 00:16:08 It's still the same company. Yeah. Private equity? Yeah, I think so. I don't think it's still in the same family. Did you go to Dave Thomas's funeral? No, I didn't. No.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Did your mom? Probably. Yeah. A red dress crying in the back She dyed her hair red for it Showing her double double No, but Yeah
Starting point is 00:16:29 No college No, I went to college Really? Went to Community College, Columbus State Then I started going to Ohio State But I went to Get the fuck out of here
Starting point is 00:16:41 Satellite campus Huh? You go to the main campus? Yeah, main campus You did? But like literally Literally one, whatever, semester, whatever, because I was doing what they called multimedia production
Starting point is 00:16:55 and design, which was the internet just came out, and we don't know what to call this, but we need people to know how to make websites and stuff. So I was like the first time they ever offered this class to learn how to make websites. Really? And by the time I got to Ohio State, I was already getting offered all these jobs from companies because I was like one of the few people that knew how to make websites at the time. So I just quit that and I had like a real child I still don't Diet Coke's on people's doors
Starting point is 00:17:20 I've said this before but you truly You're like Forrest Gump of dirtbags Yeah mom was the executive assistant to fucking Dave Thomas He's eating in the test kitchen so you saw him on a regular basis Yeah like all the company picnakes and parties and stuff yeah back then yeah huh yeah Hey Brian yeah or do you call you ready I don't even like I mean I was young as fudge But but back then yeah I remember seeing him all especially the Christmas ones and stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Damn, I loved him. Yeah, me too. Yeah, he's great. Yeah. Fucking running the company. He's doing the commercials. What was the best thing out of the test kitchen
Starting point is 00:17:53 that you tried? I don't remember, but I do remember, I think it was like, they had to take a run at a big mat. Before it was Baconator. It was something else.
Starting point is 00:18:04 It was like Big Bacon something. Oh, you're talking about the Big Bacon Classic. Yeah. That was fantastic. A little bit different than the bacon. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:12 And it led us and tomato. Yeah. Never mind. Big bacon. I didn't say anything. I love the Big Bacon Crack. Yeah. Baconer is pretty good, too.
Starting point is 00:18:22 Yeah, then it became like, I think the Baconator. Whoa. Huh. That's fascinating stuff. Did you ask you about the vacations? Oh, vacations. So I, uh... Oh, the Baconator is a big bacon class name.
Starting point is 00:18:34 To me, it's like talking to Napoleon. Wacky wild stuff. So we always went to, you know, Midwest Florida, which was Myrtle Beach. Like, you guys probably used to go to Myrtle Beach a lot, I'm guessing. No? I never, we know. never made it that south. We stopped that it was Jersey and then every now and then
Starting point is 00:18:50 I'll get you guys that you guys are probably huge losers too right? Well everyone in Ohio would go to Myrtle Beach because it was like a version of Florida but it was closer but then uh Florida without all the hustle and bustle yeah when I was going to Myrtle Beach next weekend when I moved in with my dad I lived in like a rich neighborhood and one of my best friends his parents would take us to cool vacations
Starting point is 00:19:14 because his dad was the president of nationwide insurance. Whoa. Still is, I think. I don't know. But so he would take us to like Kiwa Island. What's Keywa Island? It's like a Gulf Island outside of the Carolinas. It's so awesome, though.
Starting point is 00:19:29 You ever go to Putten Bay? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Putt in Bay. I used to go there once a year almost. Shut up to it. Brian Redband was the friend that went on vacation with the other. That's a tough, that's a tough characteristic to have growing up.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Yeah, it was weird. You probably fit it very well. It was weird because. they would have to buy me presents also when they're you know what I mean like when you're on vacation with your kid you know you'd be like hey honey you went up you're a teddy bear or whatever yeah so they would have to double buy it with a big lollipop and a fucking propeller thanks so much mr. Jenkins I'm sure your dad would give the money or something nationwide is I don't think so dude they pay your airfare and shit they paid yeah they paid everything it was great
Starting point is 00:20:08 she was he was they were like two rich guys you go yeah you get this one I'll get the next one type thing. Wow. Yeah, they were loaded. Kevin's talking about Warby Paca. Warby Parker. Big, big fan. As you know, I'm a Warby guy.
Starting point is 00:20:21 I know that. Contacts, eyeglasses. I'm into it all. Don't shut up about them. No, you could do the virtual on the website, try on stuff. And the good thing that they have that the other places don't have is some places you go to, they got style. Prices are out of control.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Some places you go to, they got good pricing. But the styles are, uh-uh. You're looking at a seventh grade math teacher. Whereby Parker has it all. Do yourself a favor. Contacts eyeglasses. sunglasses, go to Warby Parker, get yourself straightened out. I got to be honest with it, too.
Starting point is 00:20:48 They got the locations. You go in there to get everything. Brick and mortar. They got everything. It gets done in one thing. You find a doctor, book an appointment. You figure out if you take your, everything is done in-house. Over there, Warby Parker.
Starting point is 00:21:01 I walked by one at a mall. I was in a mall. I hang out in mall. Sure. I went to a mall. Pat. They place was jumping. People getting in trying on, by the bank.
Starting point is 00:21:09 They were serving them up, moving them out. Like they were giving a free turk. Of course. Yeah, we got the Lex Wexner, Victoria's Secret models. He's a bad guy, right? Who's Lex Wector? He's on the list. He's So that's how Epstein got all of his cash. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Wait, he would come? Well, he lived there and he built... At the zoo? No, no. I'm just saying in Columbus. A freak. But at the mall, you would see him. all the time and he would have just like five hot women with him in the mall. It was always so nice. Was he boys with Dave Thomas? No, no. I'm just saying that he lived in Columbus also.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Like Columbus is crazy. Like, the secrets. The secrets. Now, what was the name of the high school you went to? I went to Worthington Kilbourne High School. Yeah, Worthington Kilbourne, man. Let's see if he's on the notable alum. No. No.
Starting point is 00:24:30 He might be on the notable alum of Columbus. Oh. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Dave Thomas, Jack Hanna. That freak he was talking about? Brian Redmond guys. Me and young James. Steen and his crew.
Starting point is 00:24:43 His flunkies. Jack Hannah could take a week off of work. Go do that. No, he's at work. He's at work. That's where he... Oh, he was based out of the Columbus Zoo. That's his zoo. That's what we're saying. It's his zoo.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Jesus Christ. How do they not have a fucking professional? He just wrote Columbus and spelled it wrong. It's not spelled with a K. What do you got, Luke? Not an alumni. Tragedy. Are you using my...
Starting point is 00:25:06 Red band last name? I just did. I just did. I never thought that wasn't your last name. Obviously, it's not now that I think about it. I'm not seeing a Brian. What's your government name? Is it a right call? It's Reichl. R E.I. C.A.L. Rikler? Rikel. Reichel. Yeah. Like third Reichel. You got it? Third Reichel didn't make it either. Damn. Red band's your showbiz name? Yeah. That was actually my AOL screen name. And then Rogan. That was your AOL screen name? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Just you had no numbers. You were just red band? It's red band 420, of course. You are a boring dirt bag. But he's connected. I know, but he had it. Dude, he's had every opportunity. The rich dad, the nice neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:25:50 And he's gone astray at every fucking point. Well, what's crazy is my dad, his side of the family, was the dirt balls, the poor side. And my mom was the rich side. Like my mom's, my grandpa on my mom's side, president of Ford. tractor, you know, World War II. Why were you in a one bedroom? Huh? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:11 I don't have four tractor money. Yeah. But my stepbrother on my dad's side, you know, he owned a CB shop, you know, and shit like that. Step brother on your dad's side. Yeah. But your dad had multiple marriages. Before your mom. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Yeah. Man. Yeah. Multiple marriage. How many step brothers do you have? I have a stepbrother, step sister. Different moms? No, same mom. Huh.
Starting point is 00:26:34 Yeah. Your dad married now? Yeah, but he's been married after my mom. He's been married since. That's pretty good. No. What she do? She was an executive secretary for AP, American Electric Power.
Starting point is 00:26:50 What the hell's going on? You got a girl with a bonnet and a fucking tight red. You're on some type of inside. I don't know what it is. That's wild. It's like the dollar tree of Luminati. It is something weird. Also, the way, if you think about it, he's big.
Starting point is 00:27:04 this his whole life. Yeah. He's at the forefront of podcasting. Forefront of the internet. Forefront of the internet. Forefront of fucking, uh, the desk, test kitchen at wind. This is what I'm saying. He's been fucking, he's been at the car.
Starting point is 00:27:17 He's been at the horizon. A little too much of a coincidence. Mr. Red Band. Oh, I agree. I agree. It's weird. I don't know. It's weird.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I don't know. I keep falling into this shit. Yeah. Wow. Okay. All right. Huh. What was the first car?
Starting point is 00:27:29 Uh, Renault Alliance. You got a Renault. Ninety-84. Renalt Alliance. That's weird. Well, who the fuck has that? It was the prototype. That was the car you would see.
Starting point is 00:27:39 That was like seeing a Pujo on the street. Yeah. Well, it was my cousins and she was her old car. My mom's side. And it was like all wrecked up and stuff. My dad bought it for a dollar for tax reasons or stuff. But he used that car to teach me because he's an engineer. So he made me always change my alternator clutch.
Starting point is 00:28:00 That's pretty good. Yeah, do all that. Do all that stuff? Yeah. Well, I could probably do it now. It's been so long, but he showed me how to do body putty and redo that. That was like a project. It was a project car.
Starting point is 00:28:10 That's pretty cool. You looked at the Renault Alliance after like a year. It looked like a brand new car. That's pretty cool. That's all right. I remember they would turn on and like rattle. Yeah, they were shitty. That's odd.
Starting point is 00:28:22 What did you get parts for that? Junkyard. We used to go to the junkyard and like pull it from other cars and stuff like that. I respected. Yeah. What was the first concert you remember going to? Pointer sister. So Ohio State Fair, right when that song Jump came out.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Holy shit. The Pointer's at the fair. Was anybody famous in that? It wasn't like, not Diana Ross, but somebody like that in the Pointer Sisters and then launched a career after that. Or were they on their own? I think they're still the Pointer Sisters. Did they do the Neutron dance for Beverly L's cop? I'm just burning it.
Starting point is 00:28:57 You know anything about that, young man? No. Gosh, you're missing out, man. You aren't missing much. I think I'll, I think I'll manage. Interesting lineage. Yeah. The Reichel family.
Starting point is 00:29:09 What was the supermarket they were shopping at Groger? Respecter. Yeah, that was my first job was a bagger at Kroger and stuff like that. Yeah. He just won Kevin's heart. He doesn't shut up about his time at that. Somebody's clearly jealous. Ask him how banana.
Starting point is 00:29:25 What's the code for bananas? The code for bananas? Obviously it's 411. Oh. What was this next situation? You're going to embarrass me if they let me show off my produce code not? That just backfired in your face. Grapes, 4088.
Starting point is 00:29:38 We don't know. Red Vine tomatoes. Nobody knows that's true. Check it. You could Google what the fuck the Baconator was before it was the Baconator. I guarantee I'm right on that. And other facts that I've said. That may or may not have alluded to it.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Okay. Listen, we've got to put our beefs aside. He's a Mr. Brian Redd band. He's a dirtball through and through. I know, but it's odd. He's a specific type of fucking, how old are you when he got your passport? Oh, uh, young, probably. No, I think the first time I got my passport was because I worked with Joe and I had to go to Canada or something.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Really? Yeah, so it was like, yeah, it was probably like 35. Wow, that's not great. Is that when did you start working for Joe? 30 when I was 30 years old. 30. So 22 years ago. When did the podcast blow up and start making a bunch of money?
Starting point is 00:30:27 We didn't start the podcast till, see. Well, I did that Carl's Mancia video. Right. That was 2007. Just going back, I was making the rounds again. Yeah, around 2010 is when we started. And it blew up within like the first month of doing it.
Starting point is 00:30:41 It was, originally we weren't even going to do it as a podcast. We're just doing it as like a YouTube live stream type thing. And then people are like, I want to listen to it at work. So then I just took the audio out of those streams and just started throwing it up as a podcast. Again, the forefront.
Starting point is 00:30:57 That's what I'm saying. Hmm. Interesting. This guy's tapped in He's like a Manchurian candidate. He's operating and he don't know why. Red band might be either from the future or an alien. We're not sure.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Did you hear how I even met Joe? I'd do the quick version of this. This is scumbaggy as hell. Respect. In college, my favorite band was nine snails. And this is before internet. There was no internet. And I just remember I was like shirming one day.
Starting point is 00:31:25 And I looked on the back and I noticed that his publisher was in Cleveland. And I was like, oh, my God. You know, I'm right to write a letter. So I worked at a music store at the time, and I wrote a letter to the address on the back of the CD, and I go, hey, my name's Brian. I work at this record store, and I have this newsletter, and I give it out, you know, all the time. Is any of this true? Is that true? No, it wasn't true. But I was like, I would love to be able to do an interview for my Ninth-N-Nail newsletter.
Starting point is 00:31:53 I call it NIN head instead of deadhead. And then they actually wrote me back or called me back, and they go, yeah, send us a copy. We'd love to see it. And I was like, oh, shit. So then I went to the library, had all these magazines of like Trent Redder and I just wrote out and copied Pace, had fake letters to the editor that I wrote myself, you know, and stuff. Put this whole like 10-page newsletter. This is all right. Yeah, it's set to my 10-page newsletter, all Xerox copied.
Starting point is 00:32:17 They were like, we love it. Any show you want backstage, anything like Marilyn Manson, anything on the record label, you can go. So then I just start going to nine snail concerts and just hanging out with Trent Resner in the back and had my camera and got to take up. Trent Rezner? Back then I, yeah. He would interact with them. That's like almost famous. You what?
Starting point is 00:32:35 I have photos of him when I was a kid. Have you type in like, Compromising? Brian Red band Trent Resner. You can see like a picture of me wearing a Stozy hat. Shout up to Stozy. That was a great brand. How old were you at the time doing this?
Starting point is 00:32:48 19. No shit. Yeah. It's like almost famous. Right. So then I started doing that for other bands and then I started doing it for Doug Stanhope because I got into comedy. Shout out to Doug Stanhope.
Starting point is 00:32:58 You weren't still right in the first. You weren't still right in the first. fake newsletter were you? No, I had to do that once. You never got busted for that. No. I only had to do that once. Did you ever be like, yeah, I'm canceling a newsletter.
Starting point is 00:33:07 I was going to focus on my photography. No, I just would take photos. I would be in the front row before the front row and just sitting up there, like taking photos. In between the stage and the gate? Yeah, where the security. I was there one time for a band. It was the coolest I've ever.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Who was the band? The menzinger's. That kid came up because you're a comedian and I was with my now wife and I was like, I had a cool new jacket on too. Remember that cool denim jacket? Yeah. The coolest I ever been was for one second. I got to shake you down for a couple of ticks to the show, by the way.
Starting point is 00:33:34 They're coming to Cleveland. What show? Menzinger's. Okay. Go see him on Cleveland. Or in Brooklyn. All right. Now.
Starting point is 00:33:42 This feels like an all-air conversation. Hey, is Dave Thomas. Red band's coming with me. He's taking photos. If anybody asks, we're writing a newsletter. So when I got into comedy, I knew how to make websites and stuff. So I started doing Doug Stanope's website. How'd you mean Doug?
Starting point is 00:33:58 I just reached out. out to Doug, I think email at the time. I also used to talk to Luis Cicay back in the day in email, but I used to... You're that guy. Yeah, you're the guy that wrote Gary Shailing the letter. Yeah. And then went and got to meet him and... Right. Yeah. So then I started doing all the stuff for Doug and making videos before there was YouTube. So, and the internet was slow, but I was really good at compressing videos really small so that you can go on their website and with that 56K modem. It would load up and play a video before YouTube. How would you do this? I just... I was, remember, I went to college, one of the first college guys, or, you know, I knew, I was a nerd back then.
Starting point is 00:34:34 You can write code and all that stuff? He was the cool guy you see before us. With the Mick Cafe. Cheers. And then Joe saw it. Joe saw it. Joe saw on, Mr. Rogan saw it on, uh, Doug's. So you really did put a lot of these pieces in place for everything you see in front of you.
Starting point is 00:34:52 He wouldn't be here. No, we wouldn't. You're not getting the share of this. And you know what? everybody always says write a letter I wrote a letter to fucking Big League Chew thinking they would send me a bunch of stuff and they never fucking responded to me. Hey, dear Dickens,
Starting point is 00:35:06 I love you gum. Wow, that's crazy. So then I know Joe started doing shit for Joe and then one day Joe was just like, hey, you want to move to California and work for me full time? And he's like, yeah. And that's how it all. What the frig? Wow. That's pretty crazy.
Starting point is 00:35:24 I mean, but also at heart, you lied, you fake the resume, you cheated, you made a fake 9-inch nails publication to get in there. Yeah. That's all right. It's on his resume. The guy's like, you know Dave Thomas. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:37 The only thing that's true. I swear to God. To picture him in a Santa Claus outfit. Jack Anna's holding him. These are my boys. Okay. All right. Now let's get into today and the general human behavior of,
Starting point is 00:35:55 Mr. Redman, which this could go surprisingly, or it could go the way of the McAfee. I got one we haven't touched on in a while. Nice easy start off. When you're putting deodorant on, do you put the shirt on then deodorant then the shirt?
Starting point is 00:36:12 I've learned from many, many years of making mistakes and forgetting to always put the shirt on first because I don't know how many times I've looked down it and I see the bigger guy. It's tough, yeah. I just thought you saw it now. I did. It was just cat hair.
Starting point is 00:36:24 Christ, take it easy. I think that like yours is a terrestrial. I hate that, that's the worst, man. Yeah. I did it. I did it when we were selling merch. We put it on to take pictures of and someone's like, do those shirts going with the deodorant state?
Starting point is 00:36:39 Got me dead the rights. It's embarrassing. It's so embarrassing. This is the thing that I don't get about it. We've talked about this a lot. I've never really used the anti-persefarin deodorant. I'm always a deodorant guy. And I never get the white shit.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Really? I get the clear. Wow. You know, the, whatever, the rubber, ball looking stuff. Yeah, I don't know. Different. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:58 But that's still, yeah, yeah. I like the old spice, like all the fun wolf ones and stuff that smell like Pez. Wait, Wolf one? Yeah, they have like, old spice has like this whole line. Like, I think I'm wearing Superman. Old Spice here. But they all just. Mario?
Starting point is 00:37:13 No, Superman body. And it just smells like candy. I love it. Oh, yeah. Man, you're a dirt bag. That stuff? That's the one I'm wearing. That Superman one.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. What are you using body wash? I mean, you are. It's old spice. Yeah. I love old spice. I assume you guys have different. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:32 He uses monster. You guys have different. You have multiple showers in your place, right? Yeah. But we use the same shower, but different bathrooms. I blew my own up. She blows hers up. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Different toilets. Yeah, different toilets. Yeah, you do well, of course. What kind of toothbrush are you working with? I just got a new sonic care one. Okay. This is the question. Have you ever used an electric toothbrush when it was?
Starting point is 00:37:53 It wasn't charged and just brushed. Absolutely. Of course. So that feels ungodry. It's weird. It's weird. Figured on that. Are all the screens in your home intact?
Starting point is 00:38:04 Screens. Oh, they are actually. They are. Okay. Which is because, you know what? I learned you just never take them out. Yeah, that's probably the best bad. You never touch them, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:12 And without getting too personal, what is the property situation? You still have the apartment downtown in Austin? Yeah, that's my studio. Do you own that or rent that? I rent that. Okay. But that's just, you know, you know, do, podcast and stuff.
Starting point is 00:38:25 And then you guys own the house. On the house. Bought it right when I moved to Austin. Right. And then literally a month after buying it, Elon Musk goes, moving Tesla to Austin, all these companies started saying that house doubled in price in like six months. Again, at the forefront of real estate. At the forefront.
Starting point is 00:38:43 He was there before Musk. Before E. Roy Smith is the great Joey Diaz. For a comedy podcasting, then right at the forefront of the Austin comedy scene. Pretty wild. Pretty suspicious. It is suspicious. This guy's a plant. This guy's an industry plant, dude.
Starting point is 00:38:59 Which some ancient astronaut theorist would suggest. Kemp, let's talk about Factor. Factor, Factor. Our favorite factor. Healthy, delicious. On the go. You got the holidays coming up. You're going to be overeating eventually.
Starting point is 00:39:12 You know what I mean? The fall's going to creep in. You're going to want that pumpkin pie. Do yourself in favor. Keep it lean. Keep it tight now with Factor with over 170. Five band ingredients. Every Factor meal is designed around.
Starting point is 00:39:23 what supports a healthier lifestyle and nothing that doesn't. Mm-hmm. With over 100 banned ingredients? Yeah, they're banning ingredients going, this, this don't take, this don't cut the, this don't cut the turkey. This is bad for you. We're getting it out. They don't want it.
Starting point is 00:39:38 Get it out of our kitchen. I don't even want to, I don't care where you got to get it out of year. Look at these guys. Listen, we've been with Factor for a long time. Should jump? I found Factor before the, before they were a sponsor, you get in. Listen, it takes the chaos out. It takes the, you talk about food noise.
Starting point is 00:39:53 I'm thinking about this. I think about that. It takes it out of you. You go, I got something good at home. I can throw it. I'll be eating in two minutes. Even if I want to get takeout, that's going to take 25, 30 minutes.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Two minutes I'm eating. It's the path of least resistance a lot of time. For me personally, that's all I know. And right now, let's eat real. Head to factor meals. com slash garbage 50 off and use the code garbage 50 off to get 50% off and one free breakfast item per box for one year. While supplies last until 1031.26,
Starting point is 00:40:20 that's code garbage 50 off at factor meals. dot com. Garbage 50 off at factormeals. com. See website for details. Do it. What's the, you got a pool at the house?
Starting point is 00:40:31 No, we, got a hose. I was told by many people that pools are way too expensive and their money dumps. You're just going to be constantly spending money. And the neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:40:41 You're talking old guys at a barbershop? Live your life. Get a pool. What are you nuts? But the neighborhood that we live in, we have private, like, like multiple private, huge lap pools, community pools,
Starting point is 00:40:51 but it's only for our neighborhood and it's not that big of a neighborhood. That's pretty good. Yeah, it's nice. Trashy, but all right. It's brand new, too. That heat with the first pool in Austin. That heat with a backyard, no pool.
Starting point is 00:41:02 I'd fucking lose it. Yeah, I just stay inside. Yeah. But the downtown place has pools too. Right. Joey was telling us. Oh, yeah, he's moving in with. He's moving in.
Starting point is 00:41:10 I'm moving in with Brian Redbane. Oh, that's right. That's right. I got a pool. I got to have Red Bayne. I go down. I smoke of Joey. Red Bandet.
Starting point is 00:41:17 That's going to be fun. It's going to be great. He's going to be staying there. Yeah, once one week. You'll be sleeping at the house. Yeah, one week every month he's going to be there and stuff like that. Will you guys do some sleepovers there? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Cox on the Senate, come in. Rub my feet, Brian. Let's watch him. He's going to get kicked out so fast for smoking. Sure. Okay. Do you remember the name of the first strip club you went to? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:42 It is, uh, the living room. Dayton, Ohio. Why living room? Oh. The living room? Well, it started off, I don't know if this is true. It started off, it was actually someone's living room. And they just got so popular to start building off on it.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Oh, man, look at that photo. That is a classic. It got destroyed by a tornado. Does it say 100 years? No. It's not around anymore. It got destroyed by a tornado. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:42:11 But that's the. This girl's holding on at the polls. Sounds biblical. Yeah. That place was dirty, though. You don't say. Okay. You ever donate money to a megachurch?
Starting point is 00:42:22 No. Do you not a tie a tie? Yes. I was a Boy Scout. You were a Boy Scout? You were an Eagle Scout. Yeah. Huh.
Starting point is 00:42:31 When's the last time you stole something? Ooh. I mean, like shoplifting style or steal stuff? What's the difference? You know, like what are you stealing? Stealing like IP addresses, you know, from China and stuff. But, uh. So you can do all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Tell you got her. Okay. It's been. Wow. It's been a way. I used to, I mean, I used to shoplift all the time. And I got caught for shoplifting when I was younger, stealing CDs. Everybody got caught stealing CD. Did you get sat down with Dave Thomas and a stern, heart-to-heart conversation with you? I would have loved that.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack and Paula Abdul, those were the CDs I got caught. I respect it. But no, I haven't, I don't even remember the last time. Picture of in jail. What are he in here for? Paula Abdul. I don't remember the last time I stole it. Good. So you're not at the airport.
Starting point is 00:43:20 guy no like are you shaffer and then the likes of the oh no joey bum bums joey deez will go to one of those places where you know you just pick your food out he just put his pocket yeah it's crazy can't do that i can't do that's scary what uh we're aware of mr dyes his resume what uh what kind of luggage you got name brand luggage you just use them anything non-discrip no uh i used always just use samsonite you know like just in place yeah just replaced every year almost it'll break by a new one okay ross very risk you get them at raw yeah because that's why they're breaking every year you know That dudes.
Starting point is 00:43:52 That's dirtbag shit. Ever going to a wedding and not giving a gift? Never did that. No. Somebody got married. What do you, what are you dropping in the envelope? Come to my way.
Starting point is 00:44:02 I like you. I usually just do the, like if they have a, you know. Your registry, you do? Well, because it's easier, you know, then here's a hundred bucks. I don't know. I could buy them like a hundred. Redbane. Red band.
Starting point is 00:44:15 The forefront of everything. You got to be going 500,000. I also don't go to weddings. Fair enough. I don't get a funeral or weddings. How many suits do you own? How many suits do you own? Like four.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Anything nice, nice? No, they're all just like, you know. Men's wear out, whatever. Do you own any costumes? Tons of costumes. I have a lot of costumes. You do? Yeah, a lot of.
Starting point is 00:44:38 You guys don't do cosplaying stuff, do you? No, but I... I don't think they don't. Yeah, at the same time. No, I have a lot of costumes like Halloween shit. Uh-huh. just from years of doing podcasts and shit like that and stupid shit. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:44:52 So I do have a lot of costs. You got a walk-in closet at the house for you? We have like, yeah, multiple four. We have a McMansion, you know. You do? Yeah, it's a McMansion. You guys, you're pretty clean, pretty tight? Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:05 There's rooms we haven't been in like for like a year, though, you know, like bedrooms and stuff. That's awesome. You spend a lot of time in the gaming room. Living room. Right. Yeah. You both play video games. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:16 Just got a pinball machine. You know. Sick. What kind? They're so expensive. Way more expensive than you anticipate. Pokemon limited edition. They only 750 of them.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Yeah. What do you mean? 750 of them? Yeah. The limited edition, they only made $750. Oh, they owe you $700. Wait, how much did it cost? $13,000.
Starting point is 00:45:36 What? You spent $13,000 on a fucking pinball. You're dropping $100 in a wedding? It's worth like 22 already, though. That's why I got that one. Is it the forefront of pinball machines, dude? Were you a Pokemon? guy? No, not really. I liked
Starting point is 00:45:50 the cartoon and stuff, but it, you know, not much. You were watching cartoons very late in life. I was, yeah, I still watched cartoons. I love to. Yeah. I don't want to say that. But not that far into it. He's into, like, Yojigo or what's it called, Gung Ho? No, what's the
Starting point is 00:46:05 Fireball guy? A Dragon Ball. Yes, Dragon Ball. You like Dragon Ball? Yeah. You like all the Japanese anime? I love it. Japanese anime. Yeah, my best friend growing up was Japanese, and so was an octopus. Yeah. So, they, When Nintendo came out, he had the Nintendo, like, a year before it came out in the U.S. So I was going to his house playing Mario Brothers and before anyone even knew what Mario was.
Starting point is 00:46:26 At the forefront of Nintendo. That's right. I forgot. That is true. This is adding the fuck up. What the fuck? Yeah, it is weird. Is there anything you could think of that you had dibs on first?
Starting point is 00:46:38 Like Pepsi Clear or anything like that? The blue raspberry flavored and candy? Yeah. Well, Columbus, Ohio also is a test market town. We had Chipotle like 10 years before everyone had Chipotle and stuff. And then McDonald's bought it, I think. Yeah. I didn't know that's how they did it.
Starting point is 00:46:56 That actual city's were testament. I thought they went around. Oh, yeah. If you go to Columbus right now, there's so many things you'll never even heard of, dog. White Castle, you know, was, you know, was, you started. Oh, started there? Not started there, but it was like one of their first. One of the incubators.
Starting point is 00:47:11 One of what else is not testing on the mat there. Widely known as Test City USA. Get the fuck out of it. Find out what they got there. What's in, what's in quarantine? test right now. Yeah. Is that where the comedy attic is in Columbus?
Starting point is 00:47:22 Yes. Bloomington. Comedy addicts in Columbus. That's where we were. No. Upstairs? No. Downtown Columbus.
Starting point is 00:47:29 No. You sure? Comedy addicts in Bloomington, Indiana. Oh, Indiana. You sure? I don't think it is. I'm not saying there's not a comedy addict there, but the one we did. Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:39 The funny bone is the club I started off in Columbus, Ohio. But now I think it's the comedy addicts. There is a comedy addict. That is not the comedy addict that we went to, though. Okay. Yeah, no. That's not it. But that is, you're, we are both correct.
Starting point is 00:47:53 There is a comedy addict there. You ever wipe grease off your finger and put it in a soda? As an adult. Off your face? Yeah. Oh, yeah. I did that all the time. For so?
Starting point is 00:48:04 You do that for soda? Yeah. Well, just anything with foam. Beers, yeah, because the alcohol killed at. You're doing it with sodas. I'm not doing it as a grown man. I did it as a kid. Oh, I do it all the time.
Starting point is 00:48:14 I do it most of it for beers, though. Yeah, beers, of course. You're a little nose. there. A little dabble, do you? Getting a little cremice. Okay. How do you sleep?
Starting point is 00:48:24 You guys got a king-sized bed? Of course. California King, yeah. California King. A lot of pillows? Three. One for head, one to hold like a baby and one in between the legs. That's exactly how you're facing out?
Starting point is 00:48:38 Are you facing in? I have to switch every 30 minutes because my arm falls asleep or, and now I have tremendous arm pain and back issues from that. Sure. I don't know if sleeping like that is good for you or bad for you. It's bad. It is? Yeah, you're supposed to sleep on your back, but I can't because I'll choke and die.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Get the fuck. Yeah. Do you have some sleep happening yet? I'm sure I do. That's why I sleep on my side and, you know, so I don't. You should go get a machine. I don't want that, dude. Why? They're good.
Starting point is 00:49:05 They're great. I'm telling you. Uncle Hank. Take it from me. It's not like the 50s. You get a good one. They're soft. Yeah. Plus that noise makes you feel like you're in a spaceship to fall asleep.
Starting point is 00:49:15 I'm sure Janice would love that. Speaking your language now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You have a go-to karaoke song, and will you do karaoke? Yeah, my favorite was always Radiohead Creep, and then I used to kill it. That's a trashy as shit. Didn't fucking Chappelle started doing it all the time, and I'm like, I can't do this anymore. That's just Chappelle's song.
Starting point is 00:49:39 Man, Chappelle is stealing your material. Before fun again. You guys have a cleaning service at the house? Yeah, we have a lady that comes. comes every couple weeks. Well, there's a grocery shop and being down over at the house. We go, like, multiple times a week.
Starting point is 00:49:54 I like that. I do that, too. We live by a Costco, though. We're kind of spoiled. Like, it's super H.E.B. So we live all by all these nice grocery stores. You guys like hitting, like, little specialty stores. Like, we were talking, I think, in Austin and H-Mart.
Starting point is 00:50:07 You like do that kind of stuff? Oh, H-Mart's one of my favorite snacks, all that kind of stuff. Oh, yeah. I love it. I'm with it. Yeah, we have, like, two different, like, Tokyo, the monthly Tokyo treats. And then we have another. one that's like a different country every month, you know, like...
Starting point is 00:50:21 What do they get mails to? Subscription. Like, where you're getting, like, different kick cats from different countries? Sure. Like that. You go to our house and you open up the closet. It looks like a candy store just from all these different... Like, we need to cancel these subscriptions.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Really? So we have so much. I need a passport to go into the pantry, you know what I mean? I made that. I would imagine, and I could be wrong, a lot of plush animals at the home. You guys are in this. Dolfes. Maybe this week I bought three new ones, so yes.
Starting point is 00:50:53 You did? Yeah, I have a lot of those. I use them as pillows. I use them as pillows and stuff. Yeah, that's normal. What? They're soft. Like, when you're on the couch,
Starting point is 00:51:04 what do you have? I have a big dolphin as like a head pillow. I have like a hot dog. Her name's Lucy. Like the side pillow is like a hot. I have a huge hot dog on. Where are you getting these? Amazon, man.
Starting point is 00:51:14 Amazon. Well, what's one set you back? I've never been in the market for something. What's that? How much? How much is? Oh, there's like 20 bucks for a big one. These are giant ones.
Starting point is 00:51:22 How many think you have? Put a number on it. The misses is in all this stuff, too. You guys are very like my two peas in a pot. Yeah. We have about 25, I would say, 20 of them. Yeah, we have one that's like a Pikachu that's like this big. It's great.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Bay of the house is probably cozy. Oh, dude, I know you would cut. I mean, my house looks like this. You know, it's just toys and shit everywhere. If I stayed, I'd sleep it on your couch and all that stuff in the games and the candy and you guys. I probably wouldn't leave. Yeah, exactly. Be my vibe.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Yeah. Watching G.I.J. And the Pac-Man in the garage, you know. What game are you playing right now? I'm not really playing a game. As a 52-year-old man. I'm not playing a game. How many stuff he's the game?
Starting point is 00:52:05 I'm not trying to remember. Something going on. You don't have a specific, you're not doing Call of Duty or whatever the kids are doing? Who? I'm doing the pinball right now. I'm not really into the game. Wow, you're back to analog.
Starting point is 00:52:16 Do you sit down when you play pinball? You have a chair? there like a bar stool have a stool that's old guy to bowling hour who are you earthquake that's crazy uh sit down like big jay when you play your games
Starting point is 00:52:31 you guys have a gaming computer or you're playing on a system we have all the systems and we have a couple gaming computers but lately it's been we have the little steam decks so we've been using it's like uh it's like a Nintendo switch but it plays i got one of those
Starting point is 00:52:48 Somewhere? PC games. Hmm. PC games. Yeah. So it's like a switch for your PC games. Like this? Steam deck, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:54 What's a PC? Oh, is that a brand? Yeah, that's a brand. What's a PC game? Like, you know, like if you're playing games on your PC. Okay. But you can play it handheld. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Do you know how to play on the computer with the keyboard? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Is that what you prefer? Uh, I used to, but nowadays the PlayStation, a PS5 is so great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:13 I lost that. Had it. What are the, what are the cars you got? of an electric hummer you are it does the crab walk he's every character in entourage rolled into one
Starting point is 00:53:26 it does the crab walk dude the electric hummers the probably does the crab walk yeah where it does the sideways thing where you can go down the street like this only when you play Cisco yeah type in king crab walk
Starting point is 00:53:36 a hummer to park the car yeah you can do shit like that it's more for fun but the cool thing is the whole roof comes off and fits into the front trunk and you have a convertible
Starting point is 00:53:45 hummer it's the best I have one of those solar roofs though, the Tesla solar roof where it looks like a regular roof, but it's like hard, like shingles and Tesla batteries. So I got rid of almost, oh, I got rid of- You're off the grid. I'm off the grid. What? And it's like, your home? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:03 And it's like, your home? Because our neighborhood's kept on getting beat up from like hail and storms, and everyone's getting the roof replaced all the time. And I'm like, I want a stronger roof. And then I was like, oh, this Tesla roof's like, it's like bulletproof. And it's solar. So then I got a bunch of batteries. Is it metal?
Starting point is 00:54:20 Yeah. It's like really hard. It's like it's like, actually I think it's like tempered glass, but super strong glass. But now so I'm off the grid and free electricity for all my cars. So I got rid of all my like my super and stuff. I got rid of all my gas cars. Why?
Starting point is 00:54:38 Is the electricity free once you pay for the roof? They don't charge you a monthly fee or anything? I paid for the roof. And then, you know, I'm making so much electricity back that. I'm selling it back to the... It goes back in the grid. So now I have credits. Really?
Starting point is 00:54:51 My bill is like negative $500 and that's charging. I just keep TVs on for no reason. I assume the electric company doesn't like that, right? No, they're buying electricity. You're getting them electric? Yeah, they love it. How much is the roof? It was pretty expensive.
Starting point is 00:55:07 I did get... 100 grand? It was 300 grand, but I got like 150 back from the government because I got it. So it's like... Really? Yeah, credits. Sharp guy. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Yeah. I want to sleep 30 even more now. But I got a Hummer and I got three Teslas. You have three Teslas? Yeah. Are you an environment guy? No, I just, once you go electric car, like that instant Tron power, like, you know. Yeah, it is pretty nice.
Starting point is 00:55:33 And it drives me home. Like, it's so good at driving now that it just almost all always just, hey, take me to work. Take me to McDonald's. You know, take me wherever. Are you on your phone doing your thing? Yeah, sometimes. But it's also just... You fall asleep?
Starting point is 00:55:47 No, I don't do that. Because it films you to make sure you don't fall asleep. Yeah, Janus was telling us it tracks your eyes. You can't look away otherwise. Well, if it's supposed to be that... How far away you think we are from that? A couple years? About a year.
Starting point is 00:55:59 I mean, it's so good right now. It could do it now. I think it's more of like a legality thing. It's like you're not allowed to be checked the fuck out. You got to stay. It wants you to stay. I mean, it can't do anything if I'm in a car and I'm trying to hit you. It can't do anything about that.
Starting point is 00:56:13 It would detect you coming at me and dodge and dodge and... Really? Yeah. Stop being a dickhead. It is way safer than, like, I trust it way more than an Uber driver. You're like, it's better than, like, most drivers. It's better than my girl driving, I think, you know. She's Asian, so.
Starting point is 00:56:30 Hey, Brian. I didn't know you're Asian. Yeah. Stung by bees. Don't eat you off. I mean, you know. I mean, you got any nickel at the house? Nichols

You get the soup and salad or breadbasket. They drop a lit candle. Man. What are you guys doing for dinner?
Starting point is 00:57:41 Usually you want to hang out later. Usually, what do you guys do? Is anybody cooking? We DoorDash or Uber Eats probably twice a day on average. I would assume that. Yeah. And a lot of times it's just like Starbucks or get me some of tea, you know. But we're doing usually lunch and then.
Starting point is 00:58:02 What's the lunch look like? You're doing like one of those healthy bowls or whatever? No, no, no. We usually do like chicken or fried chicken or something. You know, just. You guys don't eat great as far as... We eat pretty bad. It's like teenagers.
Starting point is 00:58:17 Yeah, we... You're basically too teenage. But we also eat a lot of Asian foods, which is mostly healthy, so, you know... Just a good point. It's the fucking best. We just got back on those factors. Shut up to them! They're great.

Starting point is 00:58:48 I don't eat that much. Like, she eats probably twice as much as me. It's every fat guy says that, though. No, I swear to God, listen, I've said it. He said it. You do it something. You do it something. I drink my calories.
Starting point is 00:59:00 You drink your calories. I'll give you that. And I like candy still. I can't eat. Since I quit drinking, I love candy. How much sour skittles have got a hold of it. Oh, shit. I got to do them one at a time.
