I have to ask this. I'm sorry, I hate to interrupt you.
We have a question we want to ask about what happened to you in 2016 with this Bernie Bros movement,
where your followers are seen they have a racism problem, a massaging problem.
Do you think that's a super PAC thing behind that?
No, it was the Democratic establishment.
That was the...
Finally, so old that you don't give a fuck and you just say it.
Fucking finally.
Yep.
Oh, wow. Okay.
You know, that was just...
They were sitting there.
We had a lot of young people.
We have people of color and they create this kind of myth with the help of the corporate media and all that stuff.
You know, it's kind of interesting to that.
Isn't it crazy how he's basically saying the same shit?
Like, that's it.
The same shit that Republicans say about fake news, he is saying the same exact fucking shit.
So he admits he's a cell out.
He still stands with him today.
Well, he's a pragmatic person as well, right?
So, like, do you choose the lesser of two evils?
Maybe you do?
Maybe you don't.
I don't think there's a right option.
But I don't think doing that makes you a sellout.
Oh, it is during this election, the podcast space, which the Democrats largely avoided, they feel had some influence in the election.
And they started to label us the podcast bros.
and said that we were sexist and we were racist and bigoted.
It's almost like it's the exact same strategy to get you out of there.
Yeah, that's what the liberal elite China does.
He's actually just saying it.
Oh, my God.
He just fucking says it.
You run away.
Look, getting, again, I would hope that everybody who's watching the program,
is that we as a nation have got to end all forms of bigotry, right?
Yes.
And I start off as a basic assumption.
Unless it's to see your close friends, right?
Yeah, whether it's racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, whatever it is.
But, and, you know, liberal Democrats talk about that all the time.
And then you get to what we call identity politics.
You're black, you're wonderful, you're tremendous, you're gay, you're the greatest human being on earth.
Yeah, yeah.
And rather than say, what do you stand for?
Exactly.
Well, gay, that's fine.
Who cares?
Yeah.
What are you? See, you guys see why I used to like this guy a lot?
You see this? This is the exact thing.
This is why they had to shut him down.
This is the exact reason.
You stand for.
Yeah.
You know, is every gay person brilliant and wonderful and great?
No, of course that.
Everybody's human to me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So the issue is what you stand for.
We'll check you back to what we discussed earlier, class politics in the sense of which side are you on.
are you going to stand with working families?
Are you going to raise the minimum wage to a living wage or not?
Are you going to guarantee fight to guarantee health care to all people or not?
Are you going to demand that the wealthiest people start paying their fair share of taxes or not?
Those are the issues.
And no one cares what color you want, you know, what gender is, et cetera, et cetera.
I'm sorry.
There it is.
Yep.
And so, yeah, that's it.
And I won't forgive the Democrats for this.
No, I don't think a lot of people will.
And 15 minutes for his space shuttle launch.
Yeah, I'm going to pull it up in just a minute.
He worked with the establishment to shut himself down.
Now he parades himself around as if he's righteous.
He did, like, again, I can see why he did what he did.
But, like, I get it.
I found it disappointing.
Is it crazy for me to say that I support and I like a person,
even though I don't agree with some of their behavior
and some of the things they did, because that's where I'm at with Bernie.
I am, right?
I lost our respect for Bernie.
I mean, I don't know about that, right?
I have politics in general, right?
Sure, I'm watching you.
Yeah, definitely.
Postage arguments.
1% of workers make minimum wage, 40% of income, 60% taxes.
No, it's not that.
I mean, just because a low amount of people make actual minimum wage doesn't mean that the amount
of money that people averagely get paid on average is enough money to live on.
the reality is that it's not
it's straight up not
most people don't make any fucking money
and they can't afford anything
and they hate it
that's the reason why
because you've got to think about like really
you think about why is it that you have
all these teenagers and these young
people that want socialism
and want communism
the reason why is because
they don't see a path forward
where they can have any ownership of success
in capitalism
because they can't, they, they feel like they can't work towards a goal.
Like, and again, I'm not saying that's a solution,
but if this many people have a problem, then again,
it's like, you know, Jeff Kaplan said this about Overwatch and video games.
He said, you can't rely on the players to tell you what the solution is,
but you can sure as hell tell them, rely on them to tell them,
or to tell you if there's a problem.
And I think it's the same thing,
is that there's obviously a very big problem,
Maybe so, maybe communism isn't the answer to that, but there's a huge issue.
Here, you might be the, uh, the best leftist streamer at the moment, and that's kind of sad.
See, like, I don't really think that I'm really a left-wing or right-wing kind of person.
I feel like I'm just a normal guy.
And, and I feel like there's been a lot of normal guys that have been alienated by extremists,
and they've been pushed to the extremes, but they're actually not extreme.
Yeah, they never were.
It was just always, it was just made up.
It's just bullshit.
So, uh, yeah, I mean, you're central.
right? I don't know. I think it depends on what it is. I mean, I, common sense streamer. I mean,
I feel like what I say is what I think a lot of people think. I do. I think it's actually
Chatter's point. Yeah, I mean, I have a lot of left-wing ideas. Sure, of course I do. I mean,
it's the same as anything else. Oh. Oh, wait, wait a minute. It gets even better. One more.
The problem I think a lot of voters had is like they didn't even know if it was hurt. We didn't
even know if Biden was president. We didn't even know if these were her talking points. And we felt
that over the last four elections, Democrats, we felt, that we didn't have a say on who could be
president. We talk a lot about the Republicans being autocrats and oligarchs and taking over democracy.
But from the Democrat perspective, and I'm a lifelong Democrat, I felt like the Democratic Party
completely removed the democratic process from its constituents. And they, well, I think
need to have some accountability of that.
No argument.
I don't need for...
No argument here.
I mean, I wanted you to...
Like, 2016, I was like,
this is going to happen, this guy's going to do it.
And it felt like they...
Yep.
It felt like they stole it from it.
And I'll be honest,
it broke my heart when you,
when you supported them.
Fucking based,
absolutely fucking based,
right to his face.
Who else felt the exact same way?
Because I sure fucking did.
I absolutely did.
He should have burned the whole thing to the ground.
Look, but you have, in the world that I live in, you got a choice.
Yep.
And I mean, a lot of people, including my wife, agree with you.
Yeah, I get it.
You know, you're down to a choice.
Is it going to be Hillary Clinton, or is it going to be Donald Trump?
Not a great choice.
But it ended up being him anyway, so why don't we burn it down?
Honestly, I agree.
I agree.
If you can't get what you want,
burn the motherfucker down,
metaphorically.
Don't get corralled into voting
for the lesser of two evils.
Because if you can get
corralled into voting for the lesser
of two evils, the lesser
evil becomes more evil every time.
Hindsight's 2020.
No, I'd say this.
I mean, I said this then.
Because it's easy to say,
burning it down means that
children are not going to have, you know, food to eat, that the schools will deteriorate.
People will not have health care.
I got to, you know, I'm an elected official.
I'm going to represent the people.
That's fair.
And I can't turn my back on.
But then could we not also?
You can see what he's saying.
You can see what he's saying.
You can see what he's saying.
I don't think that like this isn't, it's not a black and white issue, right?
So say if it's ostensibly, there hasn't been a fair primary for the Democrat since 2008.
Are they not also a threat to democracy?
Oh, wait a second. Oh, wait a second.
It does. Yeah. Yeah, it does. Damn. That's crazy.
Okay, here we go.
Could we not also say if, ostensibly, there hasn't been a fair primary for the Democrats since 2008.
Are they not also a threat to democracy? We often hear...
Fair enough. That is, that is...
Nah, you said yes.
They're not also a threat to democracy? We often hear...
Fair enough. That is, that is...
Yeah, I'm not going to argue with that point.
Wow. Real questions?
Isn't it crazy how...
Isn't it insane?
This is the reason why people are watching podcasts more than mainstream media.
It's because these guys are asking, like, fucking exactly.
Fucking exactly.
Why not, like, if you're going to lose anyway, why not burn the motherfuck?
Exactly, these are real questions, yes.
You never hear these questions on TV?
No, exactly.
Watch the whole podcast.
Well, I haven't seen the whole thing.
I've only seen this small part of it.
But yeah, this is an absolute fucking gem.
I love it.
