Okay, so we beat the game.
Yes, we did.
Okay.
So let's talk a little bit about the game.
All right.
Number one.
This is an incredible game.
This is an amazing fucking game.
This game was fucking awesome.
I love this game.
Yes, that second to last boss pissed me off.
I could go into why, but it doesn't matter.
It's an optional boss that doesn't make it a big difference.
The truth is that this game was fucking awesome.
It was. It was really, really fun.
So which game did I like more?
Did I like the second one or the first one more?
I think I liked the second one more.
I did.
And the first one, so like, okay, so here's the positives with the first one.
The first one had much more meaningful and impactful movement and like exploration.
And I think that made it interesting.
And because it was like the difference.
So it was like the difference between Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 3
Where like Blasphemus 1 was Dark Souls 1
And Dark Souls 3 was like Blasphemus 2
Where like Dark Souls like or Blasphemus 2 right
Like you have double jump you can dash in the air
You can do all kinds of like really crazy stuff
But the bosses are also harder too
And I feel like a lot of the bosses were pretty easy
Like I didn't really feel like they were that hard in either game
but I do think the bosses were harder in two,
but there were also more tools to solve the problems
that the bosses gave you.
So like the bosses had more complex things that they did,
but they were also easier to deal with.
So, or sorry, but you also had other things
that made them easier to deal with.
Which game really did I think was harder?
I definitely think the second one was harder.
I can see why people say the first one is harder,
but personally I think the second one
is way harder.
I will also say, though,
outside of, like,
there's only one area
in the second game
that's actually hard,
and that's, like,
the last area that you do,
where it's, like,
the thorns and, like,
the vines everywhere,
and, like,
with those knights,
with the swords,
I feel like that's actually
the only challenging
part of the entire game
in the second one,
outside of the bosses.
But I would say
the first one is a lot harder
just in the moment-to-moment
game-point.
especially at the beginning.
I think the beginning it's especially harder in the first one than the second one.
So first is mechanically hard.
I think that, no, I think that the first one is more strategic and more deliberate.
And the second one is more fast reactions and movement and like just responsive gameplay and like avoiding shit, right?
So like the reason why I say that is that there were a lot of times,
where just simply being in the right spot causes you to win.
Like, for example, like, the one boss that has, like, the, is like the snake with, like, the head.
Not the, not the fucking the big snake.
But the other one where, like, if you just get in right underneath them, you can just attack them from the top.
And, like, I beat that one in one try.
And it's, like, way too easy because you can do that, right?
What's your final grade out of 10?
The same as the first one.
I would say the first, sorry, the same is the second one.
the first one that I played.
So it's confusing.
I played the second one first and then the first one second.
I think that like the second one, I would say all things considered,
the second one I think is a little bit better because I like the faster-paced gameplay.
But I also think this game had a number of like really cool things to it that the second one didn't have.
So I honestly, like I prefer the second one for gameplay.
But I could see why somebody would say the first one is better.
Well, there be a Blastomist 3?
I would expect so.
I mean, I'd be very surprised if the game...
Like, I mean, there might be another reason why they're not going to make another one for whatever.
Like, you know, maybe they want to try another idea or, you know, they feel like this idea is played out, like whatever, right?
But whatever they do make after this, I'll probably play it.
It's made in Unity?
Okay, so there won't be a Blastomist 3, but, you know, at least the second one was fun, right, guys?
All right, this is the true ending.
Here we go.
What the fuck?
The guardian has fallen.
The final truth awaits you.
The final outrage.
Go forward now through the embroidered mantles towards the light.
Oh, he's got a golden sword.
Oh, what the fuck?
Penitent one who comes into our presence.
Bringing guilt to the most sacred of places,
to the most forbidden of temples.
Breaking all laws, and thus desecrating his holiness himself, are the high wills.
For there is no miracle that does not stem from our desire.
That is not our reflection.
That is not our word.
The word that was first made flesh and then sanctified.
Penitent one, does not the pale still light of this vast horizon hurt your eyes?
Of this procession, more ancient than us, that extends out before you without end, nor beginning.
Of this brotherhood of grieving souls, held captive by their own condemnation and benediction, this is the
of the ancient processions, the kingdom that the miracle wove from threads of dreams,
a domain where faith would unite in one single uninterrupted act of adoration.
That would give us light and time.
That would make us eternal and higher reaching than the sky itself.
What the fuck?
You have come to this place to atone for your sins,
to put an end to this work.
Destroying our flesh that once was word,
and now is Buck's silence.
Making us cast down our eyes,
leaving the miracle bereft.
So the last of our wills is your eternal condemnation.
What?
In life and in death, in hunger and in first, in sleep and in wakefulness.
Buried under layers of ash, the ash of your flesh, bones and sinny.
Execrated in visage, forgotten in name, forever and air.
and ever.
There is no
pennies that can exonerate
this sin.
It's just, dude, was you gonna die?
It is the price to pay
for the ultimate blasphemy.
I have they said the game?
Oh, what the fuck?
Damn! Oh my god.
Fuck them. It's treases,
dev. So like, I get
fucked in every ending, basically.
the fuck is this
oh my god
the last boss from fight number two
no i remember this yeah the scene and everything sure
vencent was killed by chrysantha before blasphemus won
he revised due to the high wills
when they were killed he died again
damn that's pretty fucking cool we had a good time
yeah so fucking cool yeah it was awesome man
uh i had a really good time while playing it and uh everything like that
uh i'm gonna go ahead and uh get some sleep
