All right. New game. So a demo for this literally just came out. Team Ninja has had the habit of just doing a massive big dick, like random shadow drop of a game. Neo 3. A lot of people really wanted me to play Neo 2. They said it was a great Soulslike game. Neo 3 came out.

I played, um, fuck, what was it again? Rise of the Ronan. I loved it. I played Wu Long, Fallen Dynasty. I hated it. So Team Ninja, oh, I played Ninja Guide in 2, the remake, Black. I absolutely loved it. So, like, they're two for three.

I'm ready. Let's try it out. Let's see if this is any good. Got it. Okay. And so I've got a sword. And so let's go ahead and here. Equipment, I guess.

All right, and then, okay, this is the execution move. Again. All this is all Rise of the Ronan stuff, so I played, like, games basically the same thing. Okay, uh, tutorial menu, basic controls. I really didn't like the first Neo at all, but I love Rise of the Ronan.

Yeah, um, yeah, that's kind of the way I felt about Wu Long. And, uh, you know, I thought Rise of the Ronan was phenomenal. I actually thought back about playing like the new game plus mode, but I just had so many other games that I wanted to play. It was hard for me really to find time to do that. Okay, here we go. Is that a Pokemon? So you just wake up randomly in the woods and there's some magic bird that tells you to go and follow them. Okay.

Because like, so usually whenever I fight a guy like this, like when you hit them, it lowers their gauge. And it feels like they don't really take a lot of gauge damage. Movement in the game seems pretty decent. Like, I mean, they're blue gauge, right? That's their healing gauge. Or their posture bar, I mean. And they can lose.

are superior to the previous games. Does it feel repetitive? I know why you say that. And I think that that's like, I can see why you say that. You're big dicking everyone towards the end there? Not really. I mean, I just,

it'll take time and then you'll learn and that's fine. Animations are lacking because it's complete same as Neo2. I mean, I will say that it is basically the same game as Rise of the Ronan. Like all of the system, like Team Ninja, they turn

a sword game into a Rube Goldberg machine. A yin and the yang and there's fucking spells and there's your key consumption. Like, holy shit. Holy shit, just want to hit them with the sword. What do you mean?

You know, they have the formula. Yeah, and it's the, like, I played three of their games now. Might be four of their games now. remember it might be four. I know three. Every single game has the, like, I read it, I know every stat. It's the exact fucking same thing. And so I don't really, I don't care. That's why it's good as depth. So I think it does, but I think that the way that they have depth and their itemization is lacking because you can't explore that depth and itemization in a meaningful way

until usually two-thirds into the game or into the end-game after you beat the campaign. Like, that's whenever you're able to get like master-working items and shit like that, right? Where it's like, in my opinion, I would prefer if you got that like a third into the game. Because like at that point,

because I know what the stats are and I'm like, oh my God, imagine if I had four of these. Like, I'd be a god. But like, I feel like you don't really complete your build at the same time. And so Orange Gear? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think it was red actually in the last one. But yeah, no, game's great.

Games meant to be played New Game Plus. Yeah, which is weird, right? But, like, that's fully upgraded stuff until New Game Plus. Yeah, yeah. I mean, like, that's the way I see it. There are guns in Neo3 besides Bow. Yeah, I would assume so. The story of Neo is pretty good.

Games to some degree are to some degree repetitive. Well, so Rise of the Ronan, like, it definitely had... So Assassin's Creed Shadows had the same problem as Rise of the Ronan where they had a lot of very similar points of interest. But the difference is that the combat in Assassin's Creed was so easy that the points of interest weren't even interesting. Like you had to do like, there was like no strategy. There's nothing, right?

And so, yeah, just got back. Yeah, is he going to do Neo2 run? Maybe I will. Repetta doesn't necessarily mean bad if it's done correctly. Yeah. And so like whenever I did it in, uh, what do you call it? Rise of the Ronan, it didn't feel as bad because I had to exercise a moderate level of strategy because I beat the whole game on expert mode. And so which took a while, I mean, to be fair,

I one shot the last boss, but I fought, which boss did I struggle with a lot? The only boss that I struggled with at all in Rise of the Ronan was whenever you're fighting the Shogunate's assistant and then that blue samurai guy comes in, you fight both of them at the same time.
